Halfway through episode 5 and I was done. I had reached too many points where I lost track of what ppl were saying, what was going on, or flat out missed entire scenes and needed to go back. There's no hope of finishing if you find yourself in that state~
PBY is a phenomenal actress but the story was so incredibly out there from the beginning that it had no hope of establishing a base start from in order to fan into reality. It's a drama ya but bars of gold, international and domestic smugglers and gangs, body counts piling up, and a little itty bitty who s poo ends her time being smashed and bashed around trying to keep and protect this misbegotten loot doesn't cut it for me with an actress of this caliber and I'm pretty sure it won't for many~

Nostalgic Laughs: A Charming Early K‑Drama Romcom

One of the early Korean dramas I watched on TV, this series was a genuine buzz when it aired — everyone I knew was talking about it. I didn’t catch every episode back then, but the handful I saw stuck with me because it was genuinely funny and charming. Recently I finally finished the whole run, and while the plot feels average compared with newer shows, the series still kept me glued to the screen.

If you enjoy romcoms, this is exactly the kind of show to watch: it’s about falling in love, it makes you laugh, and it offers a pleasant break from heavier, melodramatic fare. It won’t surprise you with plot twists, but it will leave you smiling.

Great Show! (And best version of it)

A sister series to Summer Rose this chemistry-packed series is a pile of misunderstandings packed on top of a ML who was too immature (re:scared) to actually speak to the woman he loved. Rather, he chose to run and hide and stay married rather than possibly lose her (to his brother.) Honestly, this series makes you hate the parents whereas Summer Rose makes you love them. It proves the point that no two children have the same experience growing up even if they have the same parents/privilege. What his family did was cruel to him. In order not to repeat the same mistake of his criminal uncle, they essentially ruined his life. They wouldn't let him go into economics because they didnt want him to threaten his perfect older brother's position. He had to physically leave the continent and go to another country to make a company and name for himself. Wang Gege never disappoints and I'm happy the grandmother never saw her forgiveness. She didnt deserve it. She lied about her parents death and then covered it up using guilt as an excuse to foster her. She was in an orphanage! Either way, well-written, directed, and acted on all of the actors and actresses parts. I did like that she wore normal doctor clothes. No doctor doing rounds is wearing Louboutins. They wear sneakers or crox or hokas.
Does anyone have the friends name? She did an amazing job!

O que falar sobre essa primeira temporada de Yumi’s Cells

Esse kdrama me surpreendeu muito, ele realmente foi um dos melhores que eu já assisti, de fato. Muita gente não gosta das cenas das células e acha que isso atrapalha a trama, mas para mim foi totalmente o contrário!! Acredito que tudo ali se encaixa perfeitamente, a forma como as células se comportam faz a gente até se identificar e pensar que as nossas agem da mesma forma, me identifiquei muito com a protagonista e acabou que criei uma
empatia grande por ela. A forma como foi trazido o relacionamento da Yumi com Woong me fez ver como realista eles foram, fizeram tão bem escrito esse romance entre eles, com sentimentos reais que todo mundo já passou, não romantizou nada, mostrou como é um relacionamento de verdade e o fato de que você que permite se quer passar por certas situações ou não. Achei a construção deles dois incrivelmente bem escrita, a forma como eles lidam com as consequências e agem da maneira que tem que agir, foi o que me cativou. Eu amo doramas que trazem isso, eu senti todas as emoções que eles transmitiram, o termino deles doeu em mim também KKKKKKK, é sobre isso que quero dizer, a forma como esse kdrama é incrível. Assistam!!! É uma mina de ouro🤍

Not special

Watched the bad buddy x tale of a thousand stars (bbxtoats) and my school president specials and it was a bunch of nothing…

The bbxtoats special should’ve been monumental, I love these characters and haven’t really seen these actors interact before. Instead it’s just them 90% lost in the woods so all the characters can communicate with each other, just lazy and bloated.

My school president special was so awful that I dropped it 10 minutes in, it’s the same thing over again but the characters swap places.

Not watching any more of these specials.

Às vezes amar alguém é enxergar o que ela nem consegue dizer

Temas, amor, empatia, segundas chances, conexão humana, amadurecimento, escuta, solidão, afeto, transformação, relações humanas, sensibilidade

Tem filmes que funcionam pela história.
E tem os que funcionam pela sensação que deixam.

Porque Eu Te Amo me ganhou muito mais pelo coração do que pela grandiosidade. Ele tem aquela energia de filme que parece simples no começo, quase despretensioso… mas aos poucos vai costurando emoções muito humanas.

E o mais bonito é justamente isso, ele olha pras pessoas com gentileza.

Sobre os personagens, que dão alma pra história:

O protagonista carrega aquela presença calorosa, alguém que conecta pessoas mesmo sem perceber totalmente o impacto que causa. Existe uma humanidade muito bonita nele, porque não vem de perfeição, vem de sensibilidade.

E ao redor dele, vão surgindo personagens completamente diferentes entre si, cada um carregando suas próprias dores, vazios, dificuldades emocionais ou relações mal resolvidas.

E eu gostei muito dessa construção.

Porque o filme vai mostrando que quase todo mundo está tentando ser amado de algum jeito. Mesmo quem parece fechado, duro ou distante.

Tem humor leve em alguns momentos, tem emoção em outros, mas sem exagerar. Ele não tenta arrancar lágrima no grito. Vai pela delicadeza.

E isso funciona demais comigo.

O amor aqui não aparece só como romance. Aparece como cuidado, escuta, compreensão, presença. Como pequenas conexões capazes de mudar o rumo emocional de alguém.

No fundo, o filme parece dizer uma coisa simples… e muito verdadeira.

Às vezes a maior transformação na vida de alguém começa quando ela finalmente se sente vista.

Impressão final, um filme leve, sensível e cheio de afeto, daqueles que falam sobre amor de forma ampla e humana, deixando uma sensação confortável de que pequenas conexões ainda têm poder de mudar muita coisa.

É um dorama confortável de assistir.

Eu gostei muito da história, foi algo muito interessante e fixou muito a minha atenção bem no começo. Outra coisa que me deixou muito feliz foi o fato de que a prota não prendia seus sentimentos em uma trama longa, ela foi bem realista e agiu conforme o que sentia, não teve muita enrolação (se é que me entendem). A trama dos protagonistas que me pegou, achei muito fraco, no meu ponto de vista, tanto que comecei a shippar ela com o Seo Eun Ho, mas uma coisa boa é que pelo menos eles tinham química então foi fácil gostar do protagonista também, só a falta de história entre os dois que deixou a desejar. Apesar desses pequenos detalhes, recomendo muito esse kdrama, algo bem reconfortante e engraçado. ♥️
