A Drama Ruined by an Insufferable Female Lead

This drama is incredibly frustrating to watch. The female lead is annoying, irrational, and constantly jumps to the worst possible conclusions. She assumes the Crown Prince is some evil villain simply because he keeps interfering with her plans. Instead of paying attention to his actions, she convinces herself he's trying to kill her, even though there is little evidence to support it.
What's even more frustrating is that she's the one hiding her identity and keeping secrets, yet she continues acting as if he's the untrustworthy one. She's completely oblivious to his obvious affection and good intentions, making the same ridiculous assumptions over and over again.
The drama is only 26 episodes long, and by Episode 16 she hasn't shown any meaningful character growth. She's exactly the same as she was in Episode 1—stubborn, clueless, and making the same poor decisions. At this point, it's no longer entertaining; it's just repetitive and exhausting to watch.
I really wanted to like this drama, but the lack of character development and the female lead's constant irrational behavior made it hard to stay invested.

Zhou Keyu - Yearner God

This series completely wrecked me. I spent a day and a night binge watching and have been mourning not being with these characters anymore. The OST is outstanding and very playable, I have already rewatched several episodes a few times, and I can't stop thinking about the story overall.

The breakup arc is extremely frustrating but extremely understandable as well. I felt as if my own heart was broken several times over. Both leads are superb and fully immersed in their characters.

Zhou Keyu especially stole my heart though. To say RAW emotion is an understatement. Give that man all the awards and all the yearner roles 💜🫣💜

Souce of dopamine for me ✨

I only chanced upon this gem two years after it's premiere and now I'm like "why didn't I watch this sooner?". It is such a heart-warming romance about two childhood friends but it also showed glimpses of life events and importance of loved ones' support.
I love everything about this drama: the butterflies from the romance, realistic banter between the cast, cute second couple, friendship between the mothers and awesome editing especially the brilliant subtle change of title at the end of each episode. Awesome acting by the leads too.
There are only a few dramas that I want to rewatch even before it's finished, and this is one of them.

A Second Watch, Same Love

I’m watching High School Frenemy for the second time, and I can confidently say that I love this series just as much as I did the first time. What stands out the most to me is SaintShin’s relationship. Their bond was developed so naturally throughout the story, and every interaction between them felt meaningful. The writers took their time building their connection, which made every emotional moment even more impactful.
The overall storyline is what truly won me over. The series does a great job balancing friendship, rivalry, personal growth, and emotional conflicts. While there are one or two aspects that I wasn’t completely satisfied with, they were minor issues that didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the show.
The acting deserves special praise. SkyNani absolutely nailed these characters and brought them to life in a way that made me care deeply about their journey. Their chemistry, emotional performances, and character development were some of the strongest parts of the series.
With great rewatch value and an engaging story from start to finish, High School Frenemy is a series that I will happily revisit again in the future. Overall, I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it. ❤️

Reality of War and Resistance

Zhang Xuan plays a scumbag so well and so often that it was hard to see him in a ""nice guy"" tsundere role. I think one of my favorite things about this drama was the outfits (and I tend to not enjoy this time period so that is saying a lot) and the fact that they didnt drag out the plot unnecessarily. It moved and they closed up the story nicely. Was it sad both her parents died for the resistance? Yes, but that is part of war. Her continuing on her parents legacy honored them.

Heavy on Politics but Excellent Lead Chemistry & Character Growth

At first, I thought this series would be a revenge + romance story, but let me warn you upfront it focuses much more on politics than romance. If you don’t like political intrigue and characters talking at length for many scenes, then this drama is definitely not for you.

The series starts off very interestingly. It keeps you guessing who the real villain is, though honestly, you can pretty much tell that almost everyone is shady lol. The middle part is extremely intense — everyone starts scheming against each other. They act like allies but are always ready to stab each other in the back. In the latter half, the pacing and editing become quite rushed, making the story feel hurried. This drama really needed more episodes to properly develop the plot and characters. If it had more time, it would have been perfect. The female lead is a very smart character. Although there are moments where her decisions feel off or not that clever, you can clearly see her growth. The male lead has the most obvious and satisfying character development — starting from having nothing and gradually rising to become someone truly formidable. Almost all the main characters are sharp and quick-witted, matching each other’s level. The soundtrack is also really good. The chemistry between Chen Duling and Zhou Yiran is excellent and is honestly one of the biggest highlights of the show. Just them looking into each other’s eyes is enough to make you melt.

Overall, If you’re a fan of the leads, I highly recommend it. Chen Duling looks stunning in every outfit, and Zhou Yiran is incredibly handsome and charismatic. Their chemistry together is fantastic. That said, as I mentioned, this drama is heavily political rather than romantic. If you don’t enjoy political intrigue at all, you might end up disappointed. But for me, the strengths far outweigh the flaws.

A ost do drama é otima.

Heart Code , one of the GL series that worth to rewatch again

I like the main leads; their acting was good and have a great chemistry too.
The storyline was one of the plus points, not every GL action/criminal series was this good and not every GL couple dare to act in this genre too.
so, good job for the main leads!
looking forward to seeing another upcoming series.
Give me them more exposure, please!!!

probably one of the worst male lead I've seen in a while.

The drama itself is decent, the acting also pretty much carried it for me.

The male lead though on the other hand... he was pathetic, absolutely useless. It's one thing trying to get revenge on the so called mother and her daughter but he didn't need to be so harsh towards haena during that. Minwoo paid no attention to Haena during her worst times and not one bit until she got severely injured did he care or show her love. Even after she got injured severely he still mistreated her.

The one thing I am happy about is the fact she did not end up with him at the end and actually married seojin instead, he was much more better than minwoo in every way basically.

Ticket to Heaven — When Love Becomes an Act of Faith

I was honestly nervous before starting "Ticket to Heaven". From the synopsis alone, I expected a painful story about religious trauma, guilt, and someone slowly losing their faith. Instead, I found something much more beautiful.

This isn't a drama about rejecting religion. It's a drama about discovering that love and faith can exist together. The story never feels like an attack on Catholicism itself. Rather, it questions the idea that love between two people of the same gender should automatically be considered incompatible with faith. It reminds us that compassion, understanding, and unconditional love are values at the heart of Christianity too. That made the entire journey far more moving than I expected.

The romance is handled with remarkable sensitivity. Every conversation, every hesitation, and every shared moment feels genuine. This isn't a relationship built on physical attraction alone. It's about two people finding comfort, strength, and hope in one another while trying to navigate a world that constantly tells them they're wrong. That's the message that stayed with me after the final episode.

Love isn't about procreation. It isn't about forcing people into predetermined gender roles. It's about two souls reaching for each other, helping one another carry life's burdens and finding the courage to face the future together. Sometimes, absolution comes through the love we share with another human being. Gemini and Fourth deliver outstanding performances. Their chemistry never needs grand romantic gestures because they communicate so much through simple expressions and quiet moments. Every emotion feels sincere, making the relationship easy to believe from beginning to end.

I also appreciated the format. Six longer episodes felt absolutely perfect. A movie would never have had enough time to develop the characters and their emotional journey properly, while a twelve-episode drama would probably have stretched the story too far. Here, every episode has a purpose, and the pacing never feels rushed or repetitive.

One detail that also deserves praise is the makeup. Aging characters is something many productions struggle with, often producing distracting or artificial results. Here, it looked remarkably convincing. Rather than pulling me out of the story, it allowed me to stay completely immersed in the characters' lives. The production as a whole is beautiful. The direction, cinematography, soundtrack, and religious setting all work together to create an atmosphere that feels intimate, emotional, and deeply human without ever becoming preachy.

Final Thought

"Ticket to Heaven" is one of the most beautiful dramas I've watched this year. It tells a touching love story without sacrificing its spiritual themes, proving that faith and love don't have to oppose each other. Beautifully acted, perfectly paced, and emotionally honest, it's the kind of series that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Worth the emotional roller coaster

I remember watching the first episode of "Hi Bye, Mama" about three years ago, and after watching it, I knew I wasn’t going to continue with the series. It’s not because it was bad, on the contrary, the story and the acting were brilliant. However, it was so sad that I couldn't stop crying while watching that first episode. I realised it would make me cry every single time, so I decided to spare myself that pain.

After all this time, I finally watched the series, and I was absolutely right; each episode made me cry several times. I felt so bad and was deeply affected by the emotional weight of the story. I still have a lingering feeling of not being able to come to terms with the story's ending.

To say this drama is brilliant doesn’t do it justice. The story is undeniably sad, no matter how you look at it, it’s heartbreaking for everyone involved: the mother, the stepmother, the child, the father, the friends, and the parents. It’s just so heavy and emotional, one of those stories that seems designed to tear you apart.

I don’t want to give away too many spoilers, but I highly recommend this story. Just be prepared to cry. I don’t think I’ve watched another drama that made me this sad in a while. It was hard to watch, but what a masterpiece it is!

A K-drama that drew me into the story as soon as it started. I thoroughly enjoyed every moment and was rooting for the main character and Haru at the same time.

I applaud the original idea and excellent execution. The actors did a great job and I enjoyed every second with everyone. The only thing that disappointed me a little was the ending. (Happy ending) I expected much more from it.

Another plus is definitely the OST, including Neverending Story by Stray Kids, which added even more atmosphere to the entire series.

For people who have no idea what to watch, like romance, don't mind getting a little carried away, and like love triangles, this is the right thing.

Execution failed a bit.

This wasn't a bad drama, but it wasn't great either. It had a good story, but it was brought a bit messy, the story didn't flow.
The music and visuals were good.

Though the acting wasn't bad, it wasn't great either. The actors felt inexperienced and the acting felt flat and rehearsed at moments.
The mains had a bit of chemistry and the kisses were ok.

This isn't a bad watch, bit don't expect too much of it.

A pair of husband-and-wife performers committed double suicide one day, leaving the man dead and the wife almost brain-dead. A month later, during one of his blind dates suggested by a colleague... Li Hongqi accidentally encountered a suspicious case after witnessing a woman he was on a blind date with being mistreated in public. And in doing so, he ended up meeting someone who may have a connection to the double suicide a month earlier, as well as an illegal business involving drugs and pornography. As usual, Officer Li Hongqi was hot on the case!

Although this movie was the second in the series, it actually served as a prequel to the previous one. So technically, this was the story of Li Hongqi before he met his girlfriend, Taozi. The movie starts with a scene from one of the blind dates Hongqi was set up with, which ended in an incident where he was almost cheated by his date and the shop owner. Since he was fresh from undercover work, he didn't have his badge on him, and he ended up in a brawl with the shop owner and some thugs. After such an experience, anyone would have wanted to swear off going on blind dates, but when you had colleagues who wouldn't stop pestering you to find a girlfriend... how can you refuse? But because of that Hongqi ended up meeting Ma Qiang, a very wealthy man, even though the man was not involved in any legal business.

This movie was a great addition to the series, as we got to find out more about who Li Hongqi was. And it did explain the reason why in the first movie, Hongqi was a bit sensitive about being filmed in plain clothes, since he often works undercover. We also got to see a glimpse of his 'family' from his orphanage and find out why, despite calling them his family, Hongqi seek to find a deeper connection through Taozi's family. But back to this movie, Li Hongqi once again gets involved in a case while he is still on leave from work. And to make it worse, the case also involved one of his brothers from his orphanage! So just like in the first movie, Hongqi had to yet bust another criminal activity while also having someone he knew be part of it.

There were quite a lot of action scenes in this movie, which was expected in this kind of genre, and viewers won't be disappointed in seeing how Xie Miao brings the role of Li Hongqi to life. If you're looking for a good police action movie with a lot of action and drama, check out this movie as well as the previous one.
