I personally do not like doing reviews but everyone has opinions and all are different. But, after watching this drama I wanted to leave some thoughts.

Let's start with the cast:

Mark Zhao as Mo Yuan/ Ye Hua. Mo Yuan was the undefeated God of War, who was Bai Qian's teacher. ...

Zhang Bing Bing as Li Jing. ...

Ken Chang as Zhe Yan. ...

Yu Meng Long as Bai Zhen. ...

Zhu Xu Dan as Xuan Nv. ...

Dilraba Dilmurat as Bai Feng Jiu. ...

Gao Wei Guang as Dong Hua. ...

Maggie Huang as Su Jin.

Brilliant set of actors and actresses. The chemistry from beginning to end was awesome.

The story line:

I want to read the novel now. The drama was so beautifully done that I got lost in each every episode.

The music:

There is nothing better when you have music that goes beautifully with the drama..

I know I not saying much because I do not want to spoil anything for anyone.

Overall I will watch this one again and again. Have a tissue box near you, you will need it.

I forgot where I've first knew about this but this was the first lakorn I've watched. Because of this, it opened my eyes to Thai drama land. Since it was my first lakorn, I found this really interesting, the way the drama flows & the acting were different compared to Korean, Japanese & Taiwanese. Because of the differences, somehow its not predictable & had a few surprises along the way thus I found it enjoyable.

Now for the plot, sometimes I get lost with the twists in the story. Some scenes I was like "What?? How could it happened??" and then later on, "Okaaayyy, that's why. Now I get it." Even though the story was not that well written and kinda confusing sometimes, its still a nice story though.

For the casts, I just love Boy & Margie together! They're so cute especially when they teased each other. No awkwardness at all & they know how to portray well the emotion needed for each scene. I find their love team refreshing & very funny! I just can't stop laughing to some of their scenes. As for the supporting casts, all were good and convincing for me. Bella was a good antagonist in here, you will hate her also.

As for the music, I like it even though I don't understand any word of it. There's just this one thing that I don't like and only exists in Thai dramas was that they like to play a background music with the singers voice ONLY. I know they meant it to be romantic maybe but somehow it just doesn't fit the scene at all.

So all in all, I still love this drama & became one of my favorite lakorns. You just gotta watch this! :)

Thanks best drama I've ever watched.

Why:
It's not a complicated drama. It makes you smile almost evey time.
The story is exactly my style.
The cast is perfect.
The song was really fitting. It made you feel really excited.

The only thing that I don't really like is that they take the gaming VERY seriously. I'm not a passionate gamer so it depends on the person. But the gaming was one of the best things in the story really.

First of all I DESPISE love triangles soooo much! Of course that's part of the M.O. of all Korean dramas (with the exception of maybe a handful). So imagine my surprise that I was able to put up with ALL of the love triangles in this drama. There were multiple love triangles and not just love interests, but family and even between friendships. I think the honesty the characters had with each other was what kept me moving forward watching this. This was actually a really good and interesting story and the actors did a really good job. I really enjoy Gong Hyo Jin, she is one of my favorite actors to watch and usually I enjoy everything she does. This was great to watch, not really fluff fluff, but not too heavy on the heart. Def recommend this when you are wanting to watch something a little unconventional.

Waterboyy series is another BL Thai Series. For me, it is just okay series, nothing special just another GMMtv creation.

Storyline: The 4 couple in this short series (14 ep) is too much, I can't focus in any of couple because it's rather short and forgettable. And some of the big story plots aren't quite well delivered. Some of the progresson is rushed. The one I like is some secret that makes me curious.

Casting: All main character is well portrayed, some of the extras are bad.

Acting: The veteran Actors (Victor, Fon) are excellent in portraying their character, Earth is a bit weird, New, Piglet, and White are quite good.

Music: The music is okay, the actors sing the OST (Victor and Piglet), not great just okay, the BGM also okay.

Rewatch Value: one time is enough, if you can focus on all couples you should rewatch this series.

Verdict: I give Waterboyy the series 7.0/10, I would give it higher if only the writer makes less mistake.

Unlike other BL Thai Series, 2Moons The Series is light romance BL Thai Series.
The plot isn't too complicated, you will enjoy the most time of episodes.

Storyline: Based on a novel by chiffon_cake, 2Moons The Series serve you a university life that relatable for most of the SEA college student. The pacing is good, that made me enjoy watching this series.

Casting: Almost perfect, some the reader said that some of the actors not portrayed correctly, but in my opinion is okay. And the extras are awesome! A lot of other Moon and Star very good looking. The Casting team did the job very well.

Acting: In the early episode, some actor still looked stiff. But they got better throughout the episodes.
Every character has their own charm, sure you will get hooked by one of them.

Music: love the music, it suits well with the drama, and the Background music is awesome, it is light and synched with main OST. I expect more music for this drama.

Rewatch: Must watch, because it will be connected with the rest of seasons!

Verdict: I give 2Moons the series 9.5/10, great story that makes everyone melt

Don't let the 40 episodes fool you, this drama is perfectly binge-watchable. I had no idea what to expect when I started watching, and the synopsis didn't help at all, but the episodes are so short that before I knew it I had watched 16 of them, and could hardly wait for the next one! Maybe I am a little biased because it combines two of my favorite K-Drama Genres (Romance and Psychopaths), and stars one of my favorite actors (Ji Chang Wook *swoon*), but from the first episode I knew this one would probably end up on my favorites list. It's not easy to combine comedy with genuine suspense, and I think this drama does a really good job of that. Yes, this is a RomCom that centers around a serial killer. It's also a great ensemble comedy, with an awesome cast. Is it perfect? Not at all. Is it addictive? Absolutely.

First, allow me to express my love for Ji Chang Wook as Ji Wook. If you have ever been a fan of his at all (Healer & Empress Ki are both on my favorites list already) know that he does not disappoint, and this may even be his most charming performance yet! He is matched with Nam Ji Hyun as Bong Hee, who I have only seen in Shopping King Louis, but Bong Hee is a much more fun character, not at all passive or a damsel in distress, and really made me like her as an actress. Together these two have chemistry that is off the charts from the start. Both characters are stubborn, and headstrong, so there is plenty of banter, and there are a lot of hilariously cute moments between them from the beginning. The way he looks at her at times literally made my heart skip a beat. That smile... and the tongue thing was more than enough to make me fall for him! Even when the drama between them started to get repetitive, and moments towards the end got a little too corny, I still loved watching these two together on screen.

As for the rest of the cast, there are literally no weak links. I loved all of them. The team of lawyers were completely endearing. Choi Tae Joon is super adorbs. It was also great to see Lee Duk Hwa be so funny, and not pure evil - I LOLed every time he called Bong Hee "lack of evidence". I even loved the random kid. There are also A LOT of frenemies in this drama, almost an entire cast full, and the amount of shade they throw at each other is also hilarious. However, the true MVP of this drama is Dong Ha as Jung Hyun Soo. I honestly don't want to say anything about why he is so good, but he's definitely an actor I will watch out for from now on.

The writing in this one is a little all over the place, but I think it was strong where it really counted. I liked that even though this is a drama about Lawyers and Prosecutors, all of the court cases were somehow related to the main story, and not just emotional filler. There were definitely some major KDrama tropes in full effect, and a million unbelievable coincidences between the main couple, but I think they were executed well, so I won't complain about that. What I think makes this drama lose some of the excitement it had in the beginning is the repetitiveness, especially between the main couple. Bong Hee get particularly annoying at a certain point, but I do think it makes sense for her character, so I won't complain too much about that either. The only unforgivable annoyance I can think of is the amount of blatant product placement. Some scenes are literal Papa Johns commercials, so don't watch while you're hungry.

By the end of the drama, once all the major mysteries are pretty much solved, and major conflicts are peacefully resolved, the drama becomes much more corny, but since I already loved the characters it wasn't that bad for me still. It probably helped that the episodes are broken up to be shorter so they dragged less. I also really liked the soundtrack, which definitely doesn't hurt, even with the terrible english lyrics.

So, would I watch "Suspicious Partner" again? Definitely. Actually, I already am! We won't get another drama out of Ji Chang Wook for a while, since he's enlisting, and I went through too much withdrawal once it was over. It's already been fun rewatching certain moments now that I know the full story.

Overall I would recommend this drama for sure, but I realize not everyone shares my strange biases. Still the good parts definitely outweigh any of this dramas flaws. If you love great villains, I would recommend this for that reason alone, but don't be scared off by the thriller aspect, because it surprisingly still is a relatively light drama. If you like cute bickering couples, and comedic banter in general, then there is plenty of that. If you love Chang Wook, of course this is a must see. If you love good ensemble cast chemistry, this cast delivers. If you don't mind cute romantic scenes interrupted by chilling suspense scenes, then I would say definitely add this to your list. I know this is definitely getting added to my favorites list!

There was so much more crying while watching this movie than I expected from the trailers. Jo Jung Suk plays Ko Doo Shik, a conman in prison who gets parole to take care of his younger half-brother, Ko Doo Yeong (played by Do Kyung Soo AKA EXO's D.O.), an Olympic caliber Judo athlete who is suddenly blinded from an injury during a match. Park Shin Hye (You're Beautiful and The Heirs) plays Lee Soo Hyeon, Doo Yeong's coach. I definitely did not expect the depth of emotion in this movie based off the trailers that I'd seen. I expected odd couple like sparks between the brothers and comedy surrounding that, but this movie was really much more melodrama than comedy (which, given D.O.'s track record, I probably should've expected). It was definitely a good crying movie.

Disclaimer: the version I watched was the non-3D version. Obviously some things were lost in the process, and I would like to see the 3D version someday, but I doubt very much it'll ever happen. (I have a feeling that the 3D effects would have been fun and effective!)

With that out of the way, I really enjoyed this movie. The three parts are very, very different from one another. I can see that putting some viewers off, but as I liked all three, it didn't bother me in the least that there was absolutely nothing whatsoever tying these things together (the only theme would have been 3D, but alas...) So part 1 (Ghost, or "Mad", if you prefer, haha) is gritty and realistic, part 2 is...insane, really. A total genre mishmash, but in a good way. Part 3 is fantasy, set in the "real" world.

Ghost is horrifying, and not in the way the title might lead you to believe. It's based on a real murder case, and the script and acting make something rather unbelievable on paper come to life in an all too believable way. I cannot believe such a thing really happened, but then...I can absolutely believe that it did. My main criticisms are that it ends rather abruptly and feels a little underdeveloped.

Story-wise, part 2 (I Saw You) is really imaginative (zombies can take medication to control the symptoms; social commentary and classism ensue), although the romantic backstory fell a little flat for me. It's by far the funniest of the three parts, however, and I totally get why it was placed in the middle of the movie. It's a break from the dark and grim aspects of the other two parts. Stylistically, it definitely takes risks, and for me, those risks mostly paid off (for example, the choreographed factory sequence was pretty off-the-wall, but it was effective). It's simultaneously artsier and zanier than either of the other two parts, both of which play it pretty straight. Yeah, it doesn't fit, but I enjoyed the contrast. My only other criticism is of the acting: Nam Gyu Ri was fine as a zombie, but I found her human acting off-putting. Take from that what you will, I guess.

Picnic is the highlight, telling the story of a girl obsessed with comics as she struggles with real-life responsibilities that are pretty heartbreaking. The story culminates in a sequence that really makes me sad that I didn't see the 3D version, because it was whimsical and spooky and gorgeous but obviously made for 3D. Sigh. Anyway, little Soo An (you've seen her in Train to Busan, yes?) carries the segment like a champ and it all ends on a hopeful but not at all saccharine note.

I have a tiny criticism of the music in Picnic in that it was a bit generic for my taste in parts (bland and boring, sounds like BGM of a million other things). The other parts did better with the music, and overall, it's really good. Even the music in Picnic redeemed itself in that sequence I was referring to above.

I found this movie disturbing, funny, touching, and really entertaining. 8/10, would watch again.

I must say this lakorn surprised me! I'm a fan of Nadech-Yaya love team as well as Mark-Kimberly and I thought I'll just give the Nadech-Kimberly a try. And I was really glad I did cause this lakorn became also one of my favorite Thai dramas.

I would not tell you more about the plot since there is already a summary but what would I tell you is why I love this lakorn. :)

Even though it was their first time acting together as a love team, Kim & Nadech portrayed their roles well. There was no awkwardness and they really complement each other. I've seen Kim on her other lakorns but I think her role in here suits her, seen as a spoiled brat but deep down inside she's very vulnerable. As for Nadech, he impressed me with his acting in Duang Jai Akkanee and he still did in this lakorn. What I was not expecting also was their great chemistry! They're so cute together and just made me smile everytime.

As for the supporting casts, I could not asked for anything better. I love the bonding between Kim and her family. For the antagonists, acting was good that it will make you hate them also.

For the music, I like it so much that I've kept on listening to them until I've memorized most of the lines.

A must see drama! If you're still hesitating to watch this, just stop and watch this NOW! :D :D

I usually think twice before writing a review, marking any drama with very low grades hurts me somehow, if it isn't my cup of tea it could be someone's else.
Yet, I just finished watching the last episode and couldn't resist putting my inputs right here in this space, because this drama with its simplicity worth even more than 10.

I didn't watch the previous (Mi wo Tsukushi Ryouricho) drama specials and I have no clue how it look like, that's why I am not going to compare between them here, obviously - Just saying if that's what you are looking for.

This drama is very light, warm, soft and has a smooth plot with a episodic story-line that develops into nothing but a happy ending, where Mio shines and succeeds - as it's mentioned in the synopsis.
Yes, the main mission and the beginning of the story is all about looking for a missing person, yet it's basically a side event which doesn't really interfere with the main character's development and her success in the culinary world.

If I want to pull my thoughts all together, then I would say that this drama has a lot between its lines, great moral stories and many things to be inspired by.

Mio is a true role model with her hardworking, determination, dedication and fortitude, as she battles countless obstacles such as the difference between her own city Osaka's and then Edo's cooking style, the gender racism, the jealousy of her rivals, and many more, she stays strong and fights for her right to succeed and chase after her dream and fulfill her passion yet she never fails to remain ethical and moral, soft and feminine, kind and nice with a child-like smile in her lovely face at the same time.

All the good people around who supports her tremendously & whom she considers like a family and more. They all go through a lot together, they fight with the haters & they face major disasters, but they stay strong & undefeated and they help each other to overcome all of it.

The long-distance friendship with her childhood friend, their commitment and their faith on each other is so priceless as well.

The pure delicate affection that's exchanged between her and that charismatic Samurai, their adorable interactions without even using the word (love) frankly with each other, it's also something I always look for and enjoy watching, such a noble and decent love is really common in Japanese historical dramas - the last five minutes in the finale is everything, got butterflies in my stomach while watching it.

The story takes place in the very old era of Japan, so all you see is a historical filming set with the old woody stuff, tiny unpaved roads and the chonmage. But those are very slightly focused on though, as the main place is (Tsuru-ya) the restaurant, where our cook devotes her time and efforts to make it the num. 1 restaurant of Edo, so it's the pots, the ingredients & the served dishes what pop up in the screen all the time. It's cozy and feels so warm to my heart indeed.

Kuriko Haru is shining in the drama industry, it's lovely to see her grabbing the attention with her bright acting skills, although she seemed to be Toshiko from Tenno no Ryoriban who got jealous of her husband's success and ran away to take her own part in the culinary world and prove herself - that was a pure joke, you may go ahead & laugh.
Her acting is so effortless as she sinks in her role and brings her best that I sometimes tend to forget for a second that it's only an acting, she's growing bigger & bigger for sure, and she's definitely standing out among all the crowds now, happy for her.
Narumi Yasuda indeed was irreplaceable, although it was my first time to watch her performance but she really grabbed my attention with her genuine acting.
Nagayma Kento, Oh that smile! and what a bright and adorable character! I couldn't help but have a crush on both of them, him and Moriyama Mirai from (Water Boys) - he has grown to a rippana ikemen otoko though!- sadly he is so underrated actor who deserves more attention & love and more of main leads, this guy is genius, at least in this drama to me, I could feel how he devoted himself in his role, and was attentive to put the details through his body-language and facial expressions, which were so genuine and so effortlessly composed, I just hope he will get more of main roles in more interesting dramas in the future, because... the guy deserves it!
The whole cast was brilliant, everyone has done so well indeed, but the only who I resented his existence is Kimura Yuichi, I am not sure if I didn't like his personality or his acting, but for me he was an annoying extra character.

The music, not major but lovely, pleasing overall & well suited with the drama.

Rewatch Value, I think YES, I will get back to this if I ever wanted to see the slight romance that goes between our two main leads, it's heart-warming and makes you feel comfortable in a strange way.

Go for it if you love watching cooking dramas, Japanese historical stories, listening to the old Japanese accents & want to have a good relaxing time and watch something uplifts your morale at the same time.
This drama is very sentimental, if it doesn't hit that thing in your heart in the first two episodes then you might not enjoy the rest, for me, this was a very pleasing good ride, had enjoyed it so much that I watched one episode after one constantly, this is definitely my cup of tea and my cup of coffee as well!
Dewa, I will stop here and go to pray for a second season.

If you are looking for a simple drama with comedy and romance maybe this is for you, but i would recommend you to turn off your brain.

This story like someone wrote in the comments, didn't know what story it wanted to tell and ended things..weird, maybe that's because the directing -sorry Cha Tae Hyun-. At first i didn't know this was suposed to be like a sitcom for the amount of guest actors the had each episode. the comedy part was fine but the romance part felt so wrong.

There is no character development, the characters have no depth, so when the drama wanted to be more dramatic they failed, and i never figured it out whom were suposed to be the important characters untl the end -there were only 2 important characters-.

And that leads me to other problem, the casting, Yoon Shi Yoon acting like Yoon Shi Yoon he was quite enjoyable until the drama focused on him, then he was annoying and his acting was exagerated ,Lee Se Young is beautiful but she cant act and seriously she is not comedy material the girl was awkward to watch, thats why i coudnt like those characters. The rest of the cast is good especially the olders, i mean chae Tae Hyun, Yoon Son Ha,Lee Duk Hwa made me finished this drama because of how good they are in their roles that made me love their characters.

The music , they wasted the opportuny to show something memorable like in Repply 1997

Is not part of my plans to rewatch this drama, not even for some actors.

Overall this is far to be one of the best dramas of the year, really unrealistic in many aspects ... i mean Lee Ji Hoon is too good to be real.

I watched the original cdrama and loved it. This one on the other hand was captivating, mesmerizing and haunting. I kept feeling i was in a fantasy world and hated whenever i was interrupted from watching as i was brought back to reality. I don't know it it's the cast, characters, cinematography or the OST, but this drama had me with so many feelings; happiness, overjoy, sadness and many more i don't know how to explain.
This drama left me with so many Wow moments and heartaches and it still haunts my mind. That's just how amazing it's.

What I liked:

The cast, characters and OST especially: Lee Hi - Can You Hear My Heart and Jung Seung-Hwan - Wind.

What I disliked:

What happened to some characters although I knew it was inevitable as i watched the original but this a kdrama I knew it was going to be different, but i was still taken by surprise again and again and again. And what Hae Soo's been through is much more and worse than in the original. Also this version lacked the close relationship between the 13th prince and 4th prince and 13th prince and Hae Soo as in the original.

I will definitely rewatch it again but not so soon as the story is still stuck in my head and heart.

fun fact:

I had to start watching this drama 3 times before completing it. The first time, i knew i was going to love it so after watching 4 episodes i stopped and waited till the drama is completed. the second time, i watched maybe up to ep 12 or 14 then i stopped because i was afraid of what's going to happen and didn't think i could handle it. The third time i said to myself that this time I'm going to finish it no matter what and so i binge watched it for 2 days and experienced the feeling of being sucker punched in the gut and heartaches so many times but i don't regret watching it.

if you are not a kdrama addict, then this drama will make you one.
