I just finished watching the show, and i'm sad to see a lot of people didn't like it because they didn't like the acting. I do agree that there was some cringy moments within the show but I honestly truly feel it was deliberately wrote that way. From research it appears that this show was based off of a manga or web comic, so in my opinion if their was any criticism at all shouldn't it be placed on the original format? As of my opinion I think that all of the actors that were in this show are great actors and actresses overall, but if the company that's making the film calls the (cinematography) shots and the writers finalized what the script would be I don't think we should blame the actors because that's what they were literally told to do, but instead blame the entirety of how the project was made.

I didn't really find any fault in this show at all but I can see why people wouldn't like it. I'm grateful at least that a lot of the people that were in this show were some of my favorites (idols as well).

I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend. This show gave me a whole indie vibe, so if your not into that then I advise you turn away. Again any cringy scenes I honestly believe was put there purposely. The whole story itself is a little goofy but with a kind of darker twist. I wouldn't go as far as call it a Dark Comedy, but it definitely tried to stay true to the goofy, silly, and awkward type of jokes while also trying to maintain the seriousness of the story. At the end of the day, all the episodes are rather quick, give it a try i'm pretty sure depending on your tolerance to dare I say "Corniness" you'd be glad you watched it. I'm a huge sucker for cliches and corny stuff because it makes everything more adorable, at least in my opinion. If you are too then you'll LOVE this show.

( I Think BLOCK B and f(x) fans would be happy :D )

This movie had me sobbing from beginning to end. It was such a beautiful, heartbreaking drama. If you like dramas that make you cry a river, then Okaasan, Ore wa Daijoubu is the drama for you.

This movie is pretty twisted and intense and definitely has a psychological theme to it. If you plan to watch this, make sure you watch it alone like I did.

To be honest I was expecting more out of this drama. For example an actual visual on how the male lead ended up the way he did where as the plot just explains it. The actual first half of the movie was pretty interesting but the second half of the movie was really slow. I'm not saying that I didn't like the movie I'm saying that I didn't fall in love with it like I hoped.

Go Ho's plot is quite simple: a young, independent woman's struggles to keep a balance between her professional goals and her love life. The action is set mainly at her job place, and the relationships are mostly between her and her boss and coworkers.
In the end, she reaches maturity in both areas: she gets to know her coworkers better, breaking the barriers that lead to creating certain stereotypes, and she gets over her broken heart and starts a new love relationship. That's, summing up, the whole story.

Its main achievements are basically in the way the story is told. I guess it's innovative in that aspect. First of all, the series is divided in 4 episodes of 60min each, although you can watch it in its 20 episodes / 20 min. format and binge on it just like I did.

All in all it's nice to watch, everybody can relate to this modern story and its characters, who are just average people and not the clichés Korean dramas have us used to.
It's well cast, although I'm not particularly fond of Kwon Yu Ri. Actually, my favourite performance was by Lee Ji Hoon, Go Ho's ex-boyfriend and cute Shin Jae Ha, her cheeky playboy co-worker.

This drama didn't leave a huge impact on me, to be honest. Not because of the simplicity of the story, because Reply 1988 or Reply 1997 had simple plotlines and they're two of my favourite dramas. I don't know, it's something completely subjective, I guess. But since it's short, it's lighthearted, well-paced and well-done, I really recommend it.

This drama is so good. Looking at the summary it has nothing to do with the story like only 1/100.

In order for some people to watch this I will explain it more without spoiling ... Chi Mo is a rich CEO who has the normal average drama annoying CEO type of role. But, after meeting a girl named Hao Chong Min his mental activity changed. His other personality came out also known as Song Xiao Xiao who is the complete opposite of him. Fun, outgoing, and Loving. Not only does this other personality remembers some details of what had happened in the car accident, he also falls in love with Hao Chong Min. But, the conflict occurs when Song Xiao Ciao and Hao Chong begins to have a relationship. The main problem is that the original master of the body is Chi Mo and he has more control of it then he does. Chi Mo is angry that he has two personalities and also can't remember anything the other personality did and thought. The other problem is to find out who was the person who caused the car accident and why.

Of course I can't say everything because then it would be a spoiler but this is what overall the summary should say. There is stuff in it like any other drama like ex girlfriend, a mom who doesn't want the love to continue, and humor.

I hope whoever notice this review to please watch this drama. Not only does it have short 20 something minute episodes that are addicting, the cast grows into you too. Though I had trouble finding the drama, it was worth it and really good. Just saying if you don't understand mandarin then you are doomed because the only thing that worked for me was all mandarin without subtitles. Either you learn some mandarin or try interpreting this a drama, it is worth it and should be watched.

Hope you like this cute humorous loving drama! The main leads are OTP and I wish they can make more dramas together.

During the whole process of the 2 months this show aired, i could not concentrate on anything other than this drama.(made me crazy loool ) Usually i watch multiple dramas at the same type but this drama made me discontinue other dramas which i was watching at the same type bcuz they just werent as good as this one. The story, the cast, the acting, the music, the cinematography was perfect !!! I watched the Chinese version (bu bu jing xing)before and i really liked it at that time but this korean version left me speechles. Although the ending could be improved a little bit (by adding the (30sec-1min) scene wich was cut)but it didnt annoy me at all. The main male lead( Lee joon gi)'s acting was superb with his mili-second expressions. Also at first half of the series the pacing is not that fast however in the second half it gets a bit rushed. However, overall this drama is really brilliant/Phenomenal even with its minor faults here and there, which could have been improved by the director. But this is the first Drama that made me go to the soompi forum, first drama that i was obsessed for a long time even after it has finished. (me speaking this bcuz im hardcore Korean drama fan since 2005, and i watched a looooooooooot of drama/ possibly every poplular kdrama up to this date). The only fantasy element in here is timetravelling but apart from that it is quite realistic for K-drama and the ending wasnt as forced /typical/ cliche ending u would usually see in kdramas. I highly recommend this drama!!! However watch only the SBS version which is much better than the international version.

ok i watched this drama long time ago and was dissapointed. The reason i decided to do review now was bcus i recently watched the anime version and it proved me that the story isnt as bad as it seems in k drama.Looking back and comparing, I am extremely dissapointed by KHJ's portrayel of Naoki. I liked his acting in the BOF however in this drama his acting was really poor and bcuz of that i hated the main character and the k-drama. After i watched the anime version i dont hate the main male lead (Naoki) that much. KHJ couldnt convey the anime/mangas character very well, didnt capture the depth of the original character and made it seem plain arrogant and thats it, compared to anime version. Overall this adaptation is a failure and i dont recommend it.Anime is much much better (even though i still got annoyed by the main female lead in both versions lool)

So painfully tropy, full of cliches and loads of bad acting all around. However this is one of those genderbenders that makes the main lead go through some angst before the reveal. High scores for not being scared of exploring that story. Sadly I t was just a small detour (and not as big a part as Coffe Prince), but the reason I watched. Female lead is much, much too aegyo, however her char is a kick arse no nonsense female.

I also don't know how I could stand watching this to the end considering it had, not one, but two female backstabbing trouble making bitches. That's by now such a bad cliche any drama that uses it should get poked with heated iron rods and thrown out for the dogs to rip apart.

Good music, cute side characters, lots of eye candy, super tropy and sadly rushed ending.

I've been anticipating this film since it was first announced because the storyline was so intriguing to me, especially as someone who loves the fantasy genre. Through the premise alone, I already had so many questions, the main one being, 'How did Sungmin become an adult over the course of the last few days?'

First, this film is worth watching for the plot alone. The writer is extremely creative and he weaves in the 'fantasy elements' in an eloquent way. As a viewer, it felt realistic, as if it was something that could actually happen, despite the idea of it being so far-fetched. Another thing that is worth mentioning is that he examines the situation from different perspectives - how the average person would view their story (mentions of stockholm syndrome and other psychological analysis) versus how Soorin viewed Sungmin's story. It was extremely thought-provoking. There were comedic scenes, but also heart-wrenching scenes that made me tear up. It was well-paced and kept my attention throughout. I docked half a point for the story because I felt like a scene near the ending wasn't explained very well (it's either a loophole or something I need clarification on). But other than that, I had no qualms with the story.

Moving on to the acting/cast, I will emphasize this over and over again, they could not have chosen better actors for their roles. Kang Dongwon is absolutely impeccable as Sungmin. It's almost as if you are watching the thirteen year old boy Sungmin stuck in a man's body; as evidenced by the way he delivers his lines, the look of naïveté in his eyes, the tears of hurt, and feelings of guilt - in my opinion, no one could have played Sungmin better than him. Shin Eunsoo was the real surprise (as I'm a fan of KDW, so I already knew he would deliver). It's hard to believe this is her first role and she has little to any previous acting experience. She's so talented and her ability to emote is stellar. She has this wonderful ability to express a variety of emotions, and her friendship with Sungmin (the dynamic she had with both young/adult Sungmin) is what made this film so 'real' and beautiful to me (*mini spoiler: their code language was so special). Also, her chemistry with Kang Dongwon is so natural and inherently believable. The rest of the cast fit their roles well, especially Lee Hyoje as young Sungmin and his friends, they were adorable and hilarious at times, but you could also feel how conflicted they were to be in that situation.

The soundtrack fit the atmosphere of the film very well, but there wasn't a particular score that really captured my attention. However, the music did help with the buildup of intensity in certain scenes.

I will definitely rewatch this film, especially since I haven't seen anything else like it. But I also found it quite sad, so I think I'll pick it up again after some time.

Overall, objectively I'd rate it a 9.5/10. In terms of my subjective enjoyment of the film, I'd rate it a 10/10. Just a few additional comments I'd like to include, the cinematography is gorgeous and it really contributes to the mystical and melancholic vibe of the film. There are so many scenes that were filmed beautifully, such as close up shots of their eyes, Soorin's hair, the ocean - it was very artistic and aesthetically pleasing. I also thought the CGI was done well, especially the floating items, the scenes filmed in water, water droplets in the cave. It really felt as if time had stopped. Anyhow, this film is definitely worth the watch. It's hard for me to come up with the right words to describe it, but I guarantee that it's a gem. It left me wondering, if time has stopped for everyone else except for me, what would I do? And how would it affect the way I developed as a person?

Vanishing Time: A Boy Who Returned is a well-delivered, thought-provoking film with its own unique eccentric touch. Director and writer Uhm Taehwa astutely adds a touch of realism to this fantasy film.

What a beautiful show. With the perfect mix of emotion and humour and a heavy dose of some great acting.

Cast: I cannot think of better actors to play their roles. Every person in the show completely owned their roles. Whether it was the main characters or smaller characters like Chief secretary Tak or the 'Hamo Hamo's'. It was one of the shows where you completely forgot that these people weren't Lee Gun and Mi Young shi in real life and everything on screen was not actually real. That just shows how good the acting and the transitions in the story were. And everybody physically fit their characters really well too. Hang Hyuk and his vast array of hairstyles and suits fit his colourful yet powerful personality and Jang Naras cute face which was by no means ugly fit Mi Young shi's innocense perfectly.

Story: Accidental pregnancy is a story line I love. Any kind of forced situation where the main couple develops deep love for each other is my kryptonite and a cute little baby on the way is the cherry on top! Got to admit the whole plan due to which the pregnancy happened was beyond stupid and almost made me second guess the show in the beginning it was the way the main characters had been written that sucked me in. One thing I was worried about in the beginning was the use of Se Ra in the story line but as unfair as it was to her I liked that she wasn't too much of a hurdle in the development of love between our main characters. The only complaints I have is firstly the use of 'amnesia'. I hear its a popular tool used by K drama writers but this is my first drama to have seen it and I cannot say that I'm a big fan. Though I understand why it's popular because it opens a lot if different doors in terms of the progression of the story. My only other complaint is that I really wanted Mi Young shi to show and to just be MORE pregnant. Like I wanted them to tackle cravings together, have baby showers and things that would make us connect with Gae Dong more also!

Characters: The characters were wonderfully sketched out and unique. I loved that there wasn't really any antagonist and even the step mother and the board member were just a big joke. Lee Gun to me was the most unique and interesting characters. He was warm and considerate from the very beginning. He wasn't the typical crude chaebol heir. Cant say I loved the laugh and unnecessary raising of voice but he was definitely my favourite character. Another character that stood out for me was the mom. I spent many hours pondering over her behaviour in the end and I can't say I didn't understand where she was coming from. Her fierce protectiveness and all out love was very endearing.. Especially her relationship with Gun. Gotta give the show credit for giving me a cast where I didn't really hate anyone which made it an easy show to watch and re-watch.

I need to made a shout out to the OST because i think its been my favourite so far. Almost all the songs stayed with me even after the show was over especially Ready to love and Goodbye my love.

If my gleaming review is anything to show for it I LOVED THE SHOW and 100000 % recommend you watch it

If you have a friend who's never seen a BL film, I'd start them off with this one because this is story is what this genre's all about. I went from gushing at the romance of the main characters to crying for the entire second half of the film. I really identified with the unrequited love aspect and having to leave your high school sweetheart behind because your parents made you move. It's unforgivingly sad toward the end, but not in an entirely unrealistic way. I want to watch it again, but I don't want to *feel* as much again and I don't think that I'd be able to control myself to be honest.

The acting, storyline and cinematography in this series are solid. However, the ending was a bit of a let-down. I don't mind a sad ending, but this ending seemed forced or rushed. It was lazy end to what was a finely-crafted piece.

The story was weird and not very entertaining. The main character seemed illogical at times to make her do very melodramatic things. The ending was nice, but the overall movies was not that good. The actors were all very good looking and played their parts well. I was just looking for more. This movie was not memorable and did not live up to its full potential.
