This show it's so bad and not even like in a funny-bad way it's just terrible. Do not waste your time. Lee Minho is not at all charming in this I hate his character and they didn't even try to write an interesting character with Eunsang. And yeah Kim Woobin is attractive ig but his character also sucks like can these creeps please leave Eunsang alone she's so boring what about her is so interesting? That being said, Krystal kinda ate this up like I'm hit or miss on her but she needs to be doing more roles like this. Her character was so FUN and she delivers my favorite line in any TV show with 'Gosh, I hate him so much but he's so hot.' I love her. Kim Mikyung ate that up though like her dynamic with the other mom was so fun I love them can I have a show just about them? But yeah the women in this show are treated so poorly and the show just never does anything about it???? Instead they shove two boring bad boys at us like we're supposed to thank them for it?????? Park Hyungsik and Kim Jiwon i'm so sorry you two had to be apart of this show. But yeah Park Hyungsik's character is fun even if he's not doing anything and QUEEN KIM JIWON ATE AS USUAL. Her character is so fun I love a good mean girl and this time it's completely warranted like if my bf left me for Eunsang I'd riot too. It's like whoever wrote this just took the script of Boys over Flowers and changed a few things and thought we wouldnt notice like no this is WORSE than boys over flowers this is just such a bad show. But ig I have to give it credit for that Krystal line

A special ancestor to many horror movies

A lovely forebear of Evil Dead 2, it's animated by the same love of cinema and shares it with the same immoderate joy.
Another point in common is the use of arthouse-style editing effects with a half-horrific, half-humorous purpose and frenetic energy. And the latter creates some beautiful artistic moments amidst the chaos, such as the mirror scene and the piano assassination.
The then-young actresses have not enjoyed fantastic careers since, but I find them all convincing in what they were asked to do.
The older actress who plays the aunt is a pleasure to watch, having a ball as a very ham-handed villain.
The action scenes with Kung-Fu are surprisingly well done.

The film is dated, however, and whatever innovations it may have displayed on release, today some visual effects could look as if they'd been created with a bad free video editing app, and it's not always possible to overlook or sublimate them.
Fortunately, most of them are quite interesting, and add their share to an already rich and baroque editing style, set and props.
I don't have a strong opinion on the conclusion of the story, but it's a reasonable ending, yes.

The management of the music is perhaps one of the failures of this experimentation. On the one hand, I like the musical style's discrepancy with the film, but on the other, its constant use is both wearing and sometimes unsatisfactory. It's a flaw that could be applied to the film as a whole, which is highly lavish but just as messy.

A potential rewatchable winter classic as far as I'm concerned.

Yes, the characters jump 20 ft in the air. Yes, the tone can kind of be ridiculous sometimes and seem over the top. Yes, this is also one of the best shows I've ever watched in my life. THE STORY TELLING IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. The foreshadowing even from episode one is so clever and Mei Changsu is just SUCH A PROTAGONIST. Like I love crafty, scheming characters and he is no exception. His will to do anything in his power to receive justice and put Jingyan on the throne no matter what happens to him... Like his line about doing the things Jingyan won't be able to do like he really said I'll be the bad guy so you don't have to <3 like those two are INSANE. Mei Changsu is just a brilliantly written character. He's extremely sick and always one step away from death, but he's man on a very dedicated mission. And atp he really does have nothing to lose so ofc he's going to do the actual most and have all the audacity ever. Ugh i love him. That being said, I also ADORE Prince Jing as the justice focused, honorable soldier type who doesn't even want the throne until master manipulator Mei Changsu comes along. Jingyan and Changsu complement each other so well and just have one of the best dynamics of all time like YEAH THEY !!! Ofc the plots are so well thought-out and leave you on the edge of your seat and YEAH Jingrui's birthday party arc is my favorite arc of television EVER. NO ONE could've prepared me for the sheer insanity that I witnessed like just. HUHHHHH. How was any of that real... WHAT AN INSANE COUPLE OF EPS. And yeah that being said never invite Mei Changsu to your bday party. But yeah the plot is perfect and so brilliantly written and every single one of the twenty million characters are brilliantly. Yeah, it can be hard to keep track of all of them but they're all perfect. Commander Meng is loyal to a fault and such a fun character like what a guy I adore him. Fei Liu is just <333 Another loyal to a fault character he was just everything I love his dynamic with MCS. Prince Yu is so hilariously pathetic he's so funny. AND THEN THERES THE WOMEN !!!! Nihuang is perfect, Xia Dong is perfect, Consort Jing may be the best character in the show, AND THEN THERES BANRUO. No one has ever gaslit gatekept and girlbossed like her im absolutely OBSESSED WITH HER. Like Prince Yu is so STUPID he would be NOWHERE without Banruo. This show is just genuinely incredible and completely keeps your attention for all 50+ eps ugh i just truly am obsessed with this show its just so well written <33

Ig it really does take a village (of mothers) to raise a kid

This might have the most perfect first episode of any Kdrama I've ever watched. Yoonbok reading off of her list of favorite things as... all that happens in the background is absolutely CHILLING and HORRIFYING like. Wow. Who is that child actress and has she received immense amount of therapy after being in this show? Like these types of stories are so so important and the message here is so beautiful, but I can't help but feel awful for the child actors who have to pretend to be in these situations it can't be healthy for them. But that being said, this actress acted her heart out as Yoonbok and it really pulls at your heartstrings like she's such a resilient kid who deserves the world. Good thing she has this private bird scientist to give her all the love she deserves. Park Boyoung gave the performance of a lifetime as Kang Soojin, a woman who's just trying to be a reclusive in Iceland but who ends up looking after Yoonbok. Her panic and determination at the end of the first episode is heart wrenching as she makes her decision to take Yoonbok with her and her dealing with her own mommy issues while trying to learn what motherhood really is and what to do with Yoonbok is so much. The tone of this show is really so odd but it works? It's like half police chase thriller and half family melodrama and the pieces weirdly really meld together. Lee Hyeyoung shines as always as Soojin's adoptive mother like I love seeing a character like her. She's a great mom who really cares for her children, but yeah she's a diva about to die and who has held back secrets from her kids their entire life. I love that, yeah, she's flawed and she's a diva who loves the fame, but at the same time just because she's like that and famous she's not a bad or absent mother like you would expect. UGH THIS SHOW. Also yeah Yoonbok and Soojin's dynamic is extremely touching OBSESSED with them they are such a perfect mother and daughter duo and despite how closed off Soojin is it's so easy to root for her like you so badly want to see her get to Iceland with Yoonbok safely and I love how even some of the policemen later in the show start to question if they even should catch her. This show balances a lot of a tricky subjects and does it all so well and its truly so heartfelt. And oh... The scene where the police finally catch up with Soojin and Yoonbok DESTOYED ME like yeah you know its inevitable but it hurts so badly to watch them screaming for each other as theyre separated. I'm glad they got their happy ending and the awful mother got what she deserved. And WDYM the evil bf was Son Seokkoo??? This mans range terrifies me but yeah his character was equally as terrifying what a terrible person truly. Anyway yeah I'm absolutely in love with this show and all of the messages of motherhood <3

this is for the girlies whose love language is acts of service

I had been in such a kdrama slump for like almost a year and then I decided to finally watch this show. I heard it gave off My Mister energy and I had had the biggest obsession with Kim Jiwon. I ended up binging this in two days and I haven't known sanity since. Like... what a show. Yeah, it's not perfect, the time skip that happens is a bit odd and confusing and it can drag and be a bit slow ofc and yeah... Sometimes it meanders and doesn't feel like it knows exactly what it's trying to say, but it's worth it for the characters. Park Haeyoung once again characters that feel so incredibly REAL. Like Yeom Mijeong's entire character felt like a personal attack against me and so did Gijeong to an extent like i swear Park Haeyoung has been inside my mind. It's interesting because Mijeong has the potential to be such an annoying, self absorbed character but I can't help but love her. She hates saying useless things she's so real she wants deep connections not just surface level stuff and that's the reason she literally has one friend and it's Hyeona who's actually insane we love a blunt queen. Actually Hyeona was also a personal attack against me yikes. But yeah Mijeong's such an interesting character to follow and I want to see her find liberation and actually relax for once her life like !!! And ofc then there's Gijeong who does nothing but run her mouth- the complete opposite of Mijeong- but equally as relatable. The whole 'pick it up girl' thing was so real and her staging an injury in case she got rejected was also so relatable she was just an embarrassing queen and yeah she was self absorbed and so flawed but idk I really enjoyed her character. And then there's Changhee who had the best plot in the entire show like. Wow. He's a character with zero vision and passion. He just wants to make money and he wants a car and he makes all of his decisions based on that. He doesn't stop to think about what he actually WANTS in his life he's just running off of practicality and the grind of how speedy life is. The way they ended his plot was actually the most perfect way it could've gone and it's impossible to predict like that was. Wow. I'm still not over it. And yeah. I'm in love with Gu. I love that man so much I so get why Mijeong went after him like he's so pathetic and dead inside and the way he would just walk with her... and accompany and her and eat with her... Like idk there was such intimacy in their silence I really don't know how they did it but at the same time that's the relationship I want. That comfortable silence was just so beautiful honestly and I love that she never tried to fix him like I don't think she approved of him drinking himself to death but at the same time it's his choice and she can't make him do anything. And ep 15.... YEAH EP 15!!!! That ep is the definition of true love im sorry. Also yeah Mijeong 'five minutes a day of happy moments broken up in seconds' speech is one of the best kdrama monologues I've ever watched in my life it stopped me dead in my tracks. What a gorgeous, poignant show like I could go on and on about the themes and the way transportation is used and just... There's so much to impact with this show and again, it's not perfect it's got a lot of flaws but wow what a watch... And yeah Mijeong and Gu are absolutely one of my favorite television couples of all time theyre so weird.

action/fantasy bl with fire chemistry ?

First of all, the fact that Saint is the producer blew my mind a little bit, but lets get into it.

This story has everything-- our leads are new recruits in a special investigation unit, they train together and hunt down criminals, the murder mystery alone keeps your interest pretty well, but there's so much more. The two MLs are linked by destiny, they have a past that goes much farther back than they know, the fantasy element of this show is pretty good, I love a good lore. The merging of these two aspects of the story, or rather lack thereof, is the only thing that had me kind of disappointed. They invested so much time and energy into building up both the story of their past lives and the story of this big wig criminal that they have to hunt down, I expected the stories to be somehow linked. But it was kind of a crime fighting by day, fantasy love dtory by night type of feel, with a bit of both in some scenes. It was great at first but towards the end it started to feel like they were trying too hard.

Im not sure who threw this cast together, but it was beautifully done, theyre all well written characters played by good actors with fantastic chemistry. The tension between our two MLs gives you butterflies, Phaya and Tharn are both lovable in their own ways, I love love love their chemistry and can't wait to see their relationship develop even more. I love our side characters relationships too, wish we had seen more!

High quality everything, rarely do we see good storyline, good acting, and good graphics all in one BL, so the fact that we have all 3 in one, recipe for success right there. These aren't short episodes either, these are hour + long episodes packed with content, you feel like you just watched a short movie. Unfortunately, toward the end it started to feel a little more dramatic, the length of the episodes seemed to drag on a bit.

The ending was happy, but felt a little ?????
I'm not sure how to explain, I just felt like, oh, okay, that was it?

Part of me wonders if they started to lose it towards the end because they got such good feedback that they started to think they'd get a season 2 and wanted to save some of the plot twists for S2, which is why they ended it the way they did. All in all it was a great show, the ending wasn't bad, just didn't match the energy of the rest of the show in my opinion. I'll be excited to hear if there's a season 2!!!

What do I even say? What can even be said about the greatest piece of media I've ever watched? Obviously it has its flaws but wow... Park Haeyoung I love you so much can you please write every show from now on? I just. Wow. Just one of those shows that makes you want to burst into tears just thinking about it. It's so heavy and real honestly one of the best glimpses of just humanity. Lots of mainstream Kdramas are made to be glitzy and glamorous and show you the beauty of the country and the hustle and bustle of the city and then you have My Mister. A show that's not afraid to be show you the gritty reality of humanity and life. It's literally about two extremely depressed people being platonic soulmates and idk it's the best thing I've ever watched. It's sluggish, it's purposefully slow, it's show mostly at night and in the winter so you can just FEEL the seasonal depression and how awful and depressing it is. And it's just so well directed like its INSANE. The way that most of the show takes place at the night so the shots are dark and depressing and the only scenes that are light and feel warm and slightly hearty are when the characters are together in the neighborhood bar. The community coming together is the only time we as an audience or the characters feel any sort of relief or warmth. It's actually insanely brilliant and that's not even considering the PERFECT characters, incredible acting, and lines that make me want to sob for the rest of my life. Jian and Donghoon are in two completely different places but they fit each other well like they really do need each other. Like who knew a depressed 21yo woman with a huge debt and amazing street skills could become besties with the most pathetic 40yo you've ever met. IU gives the performance of a lifetime and everyone else is just great ofc. But that's just what happens when you cast the woman of all time Oh Nara in your show. Also this was Jang Kiyong's best role I said what I said!! And the OST is brilliantly haunting and sets the mood perfectly.

Love in the Air: Overall Thoughts

This show is so beautiful, from the story itself, to the images displayed across the screen. It grabs you in from the beginning and drags you along as the story progresses. Don't think of that as a bad thing; it just means that the story is that much compelling and it's hard to stop watching once your start. The actors are phenomenal, and their chemistry on screen (as well as off-screen) is unbelievable. The way their stories intertwine is something so beautiful to see and something to envy. They show what it's like to have unconditional love around them and how it helps them grow. Also, there are some times where it's difficult to watch due to some present themes, so viewer discretion may be advised. But regardless, this show is definitely one I recommend everyone who loves BL Dramas to watch.

No other show will ever make me feel the way Healer does. I could watch it twenty million times and still feel the same warm, heartfelt energy the moment the soaring, and absolutely ridiculous, OST starts blaring. No matter how many times i've watched this show it never gets old. I really don't know what it is about this show like its just these loser reporters and socially awkward thief taking down the rich and corrupt through this second rate tabloid newspaper but idk that's its charm maybe. Watching Junghoo, Youngshin, and Moonho come together to continue the legacy that their family started with this underdog news company is actually so compelling like all the broadcasts they put together to expose the corrupt mayor and Moonshik are so so much fun to watch. AND THE CHARACTERS ARE PERFECT LIKE??? While I don't think Ji Changwook is usually a great actor, for some reason he absolutely shines as my favorite television character of all time. Seo Junghoo is such a CHARACTER. He thinks he's outside of the human population as he constantly isolates himself, so he has absolutely ZERO concept of social skills or anything about actual human emotions and feelings. He's cried over leopard documentaries, he's fearless, he's a parkour legend and badass theif/courier, he can't even put together one coherent sentence in public, he doesn't know who he is and finds himself in a love triangle with himself, he has no knowledge of pop culture and doesn't even know who Superman is, he works with a woman he's never met and loves his mom even after she abandoned him, he has anger issues but would never result to murder he's just!!! There's so much to be said about his isolation like there's a reason he's so affectionate with Youngshin this man is touch starved he hasn't like ever had human contact and he never thought he needed it but then he meets Youngshin and the Someday crew and !!! Absolutely obsessed with this man and his growth and that's not even considering his relationship with Youngshin. Youngshin is such a REAL character. She's messy and extremely flawed, she's always running late, she's selfish, she's a dreamer with her head in the clouds, and she has such interesting ideas when it comes to trust. She's honestly such an admirable character, like despite all the trauma she's been through she doesn't shrink away from life and humanity like Junghoo, and she doesn't become closed off and stew in her trauma like Moonho, but she's resilient and puts one foot in front of the other and keeps dreaming big. I'm actually so in love with this girl she's so INSANE and her and her dad actually have one of the sweetest dynamics of all time. That's the thing about the show, like yeah the plot is exciting and the news broadcasts are such a blast, but every single one of the dynamics is absolutely PERFECT and everyone gives amazing performances like Park Minyoung has NEVER been this likeable. But yeah the dynamics are just.... Youngshin and Junghoo have incredible chemistry, they were made for each other like they balance each other so well, she's a dreamer and he's probably never even had a dream in his life apart from his stupid island. Best kdrama couple of all time i said what i said !!! Junghoo and Jo Minja also have one of the most fun partner in crime dynamics I've seen, and that being said JO MINJA THE CHARACTER OF ALL TIME ! Kim Mikyung is an insane actress and im absolutely obsessed with her performance as this foul mouthed middle aged hacker woman who just loves knitting and making kimbap like what a legend. And ugh I haven't even gotten to Teacher, Moonho, or Myunghee yet. Moonho is such a wild card, like yeah sometimes he can be a lot but hes most definitely an 'end justifies the means' as long as the end is doing the right thing kinda guy like really just has tunnel vision and can't move on to save his life but can you blame him i'd be the same way if I was in love with Myunghee like she's just perfect and didn't deserve any of that. SPEAKING OF MYUNGHEE! Her story may be one of the most underrated in this show like the moment where she finally decides to leave Moonshik is so powerful like he's constantly treating her like this frail, fragile object that will break at any minute and it's so powerful to watch her fight against that and follow her suspicions of her husband. Genuinely I do not know how she managed to stay in that house through all of that that is one fearless woman and her thirst for justice and the truth is so sexy really she's actually a perfect character there's no other way to put it thank you writes for the character of all time Choi Myunghee and thank you Do Jiwon for a performance of all time. Also shoutout to Teacher, his dynamic with Junghoo is so fun like no wonder Junghoo's like that when this creepy perv was his mentor and then just abandoned him but its okay because he makes up for it. Honestly yeah this show may be ridiculously and hard to believe at sometimes but thats whats so fun about it its just a good time. Also yes there are some kinda creepy romantic stuff in here but im willing to look past it if we consider that Junghoo has no idea how to interact with humans and he compares everything to animal kingdom and has zero social skills and Youngshin constantly has her heads in the clouds and is literally crushing on an anonymous thief and MOONHO like ok girl the bar is on the GROUND. Also the OST is so bad it's the greatest thing ever everyone needs to listen to this OST genuinely its insane like Eternal Love is truly such a baffling song it makes me burst out laughing every single time.

Ok downsides, the plot with the 1992 stuff can be so confusing sometimes and sometimes the plot is just ???? the end is kind of draggy and the ending is just ????????? Like idk the climax just wasn't climaxing for me but thats ok because the heart of this show is truly in all of the perfect dynamics and relationships like ohhh <33

Absorbing & intense 500 minute road movie. A taxi ride to a soul´s nowhere. Brilliant from A-Z.

For me, “A Bloody Lucky Day” is one of the KDrama highlights of 2023.

It is a psychological thriller. Without makeup. Set in a fairly grounded, solid, authentic everyday world, which gets challenged by a maniac´s incredible psychological logic. Stirring. Brilliant from A-Z.

However, everything revolves around the abysmal work of a psychopath. Accordingly, things get mercilessly brutal at times. The cumbersome police don't come off so well. Common sense, on the other hand, does... when it is in fact emotionally cornered to the extreme, so that it can no longer help but function at full speed, without distraction whatsoever.
One-pointed concentration, already having lost too much, getting your teeth into it and being ready to go to extremes – could that be the recipe to counteract the psychopathic 'monster'? Could... Maybe... Or not... Or is it?

“A Bloody Lucky Day” could be considered an absorbing ca. 500 minutes long road movie - a taxi ride to a soul´s nowhere. For the poor taxi driver a rather involuntary participant observation study on a psychopathic killer...

Emotionally highly explosive. Intense. Acting is first league. As a I mentioned earlier, a brilliant production from A to Z.

KinnPorsche: Overall Thoughts

I think that it was a very good show, though difficult to watch at times. There are some themes present that might trigger other individuals, so viewer discretion is advised. Although those themes may be present, the overarching themes of love presented in the show are beautiful to witness. All of the stories everyone go through whilst also going through things together is really touching and a great element of the story. You develop a connection with all of the characters (whether they are good or bad), and you start to feel the emotions with the characters at times. The actors do a really good job at conveying emotions and making you feel as if you are apart of the story as well. If you've been wanting to watch this show, this is your sign to do it.

Loved it!

I loved this sooooo much!! I was searching for a good K movie, then I wanted to try this and I think I found a genre that I love bully male student - female teacher. She is sooooo badass and I loved seeing that student get what he deserves.. I know it's unpopular but the absolute sexual tension between them was ??. Tho obviously they are mortal enemies.. I really felt bad so bad for the bullied student! So trigger warning looots of bullying and blood and fights in general. I loved her dual faces, one is a cute airhead teacher and the other is badass boxer cat. This is a 10 for me.. It just hit every good spot

A most unrealistic drama

This is the most unrealistic drama I ever seen in my life. From episode 1 to 12 I am really enjoying it but now I am feeling very boring even if there is going on romance because the story has no base and it feels like a dream of a girl, in which she gets a boyfriend who has almost all of the qualities and all of their lives are so easy. for ex. Even the female lead is in college we never so her studying or going to library .
In drama apart from smiling, travelling and eating their nothing else I have seen in past 10 days. And someone also said right that she did not see him as her boyfriend but still see him as her Idol.
Anyway I am dropping it because I don't think this going to be any change in this drama and I don't want to waste more time on it anymore

A Nice Snoozefest.

There. My review's title is my 'a few word summary ' of Breeze of Love.
Honestly, the actors were excellent and had chemistry/angst, but the story did not do a good job in capturing my attention. The characters did not seem to have been fully fleshed out.
The overall set up was reminiscent of Our Dating Sim, except that this one has the college as the backdrop, but unlike ODS, I did not quite buy into their relationship.
For one, the separation and the reason was cut up and stretched far more longer than necessary. Ban Dong Wook was frustrating to watch. His side of the story remained obscure until the end. I understood that he was the introvert of the story, but hey. I couldn't quite root for him.
I loved Do Hyun, though. Atleast, his reason for being pissed off was valid.

The trouble might lie in the fact that the flashbacks were just not sufficient/placed at the wrong timing for me to catch up to them.
Their relationship was nice to watch though, so give it a try if you want something light.
