It gets better and better
The Wonderfools is one of those rare shows that doesn't try to make superheroes look cool-it makes them feel human, awkward, and sometimes downright ridiculous, and that's exactly where its charm lies. Set against a nostalgic 1999 backdrop, the series blends retro vibes with a chaotic origin story where a group of ordinary people suddenly find themselves burdened with powers they neither asked for nor know how to use. Instead of smooth heroics, what you get is messy trial-and-error, accidental disasters, and moments that swing between laugh-out-loud comedy and surprisingly heartfelt emotion.The performances carry the show beautifully, especially Park Eun-bin, who brings both vulnerability and stubborn energy to her role, making her character feel grounded even in the most absurd situations. Cha Eun-woo adds a quieter, more mysterious presence that balances the group's chaos, and together the ensemble creates a dynamic that feels less like a polished superhero team and more like a bunch of reluctant friends trying to survive something bigger than them.
What makes the series stand out is how it refuses to take itself too seriously while still weaving in a larger mystery involving hidden forces and past secrets. The humor never feels forced, and the emotional beats sneak up on you when you least expect them. While the pacing can feel uneven at times and the story occasionally leans into familiar tropes, the overall experience remains engaging because of its tone and character-driven storytelling.
In the end, The Wonderfools isn't about saving the world in grand, heroic ways-it's about imperfect people figuring things out, failing often, and still trying anyway. It's quirky, unpredictable, and oddly comforting, making it a refreshing take on the superhero genre.

The most beautiful love story I’ve ever seen
Wow. I just finished this and I don’t even have words for how beautiful it was. Best love story I’ve ever seen, truly touched my heart. Probably cried 10 times but worth it. This one will stick with me for a long time.Even though they never had romantic gestures like other shows, their love transcended romance honestly. It was deeper, and proves that not every love story has to be romantic/sexual in nature. This is not your average BL, in fact it isn’t a BL in my opinion, it’s so much more than that. I cannot even explain how good this show is, I truly will think about it for a long time. I cannot understate how beautiful this show was, please watch it, don’t listen to the bad reviews, they just wanted a “regular BL” which this is not.
BTW: If you want an idea of what this is like, it’s a bit like the anime movie “a silent voice” so if you like that, you will love this!

Let’s talk about the actors first. They play their roles superbly well. I didn’t know most of them before, and they were all great discoveries! I laughed so much at their comedic timing, and their acting is truly impressive!
I loved the story right from the beginning: the fake kidnapping, the first death, them discovering their powers, the villains who appear gradually, and then all the revelations later in the series about who she really is and where her powers come from. Up until the end with the impressive fight scenes, the constant deaths, and finally the last scene where she saves everyone. I was scared she had died, but she didn’t!!!!! I absolutely loved the story.
The visual effects are really well done bravo!
The OSTs are amazing!
A very good K-drama that mixes comedy and supernatural elements.

A Bit Flat, But Hopefully Not the Beer
It was just okay. It was filled with lighthearted, bubbly moments but seemed to be confused with what exactly it wanted to be. There were a few plot lines that were wholly unnecessary and seemed like they were thrown in to make things “interesting.” Certain parts felt overdramatized and cliche when this kind of show didn’t need any of that; it could have just been about beer, romantic love, and self-discovery.Sejong, as usual, was a delight to watch. She definitely had the most serious plot lines and her acting felt very real. The ML was an absolute green flag and sweetheart, and his story was quite unique for a kdrama. The first few episodes had me intrigued over how the writers would use his “gift” in the story.
Some of the supporting cast was cute, but the others felt bland. I did like the village members and their dynamic, but sometimes their scenes dragged on a bit too long. However, they still felt like more complete characters than the Jisang Beverage employees, whom I didn’t feel a lot of connection. Part of this could have been due to the acting, as most of these actors are very young and perhaps lack some experience. Furthermore, many of the “dramatic” or “mysterious” plot points weren’t either of those things and I found myself checking out.
As I’m writing this review, I’m realizing I recall very little about the story. This is probably because I came back to it for the last 3 episodes after putting it on hiatus for two months…

Filing for Contradictions.
I’m only on ep 4, but honestly, I’m struggling to understand why this drama is being praised as “well written.” My biggest issue is how incoherent its workplace logic feels.Going into it, I expected something lighthearted like " What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim " the kind of romcom where you can switch your brain off, enjoy the chemistry, and don’t think too deeply about realism. I hadn’t even read the synopsis, so I genuinely didn’t know what kind of drama this would be. But the moment the story started taking its audit/workplace angle seriously, the contradictions became impossible for me to ignore.
The drama revolves around audits, ethics, workplace misconduct, and conflicts of interest, yet both main couples are built on clear superior/subordinate dynamics. In real workplaces, those relationships are considered sensitive because of the power imbalance and the potential for favoritism, conflicts of interest, unfair evaluations, or pressure tied to hierarchy. In many companies, these relationships must be disclosed to HR, and sometimes they’re not even allowed.
As a result, the premise ends up feeling contradictory. The story wants me to take its professional and ethical themes seriously while casually brushing past the exact kinds of workplace dynamics that would realistically raise concerns. A secretary openly pursuing her superior or a department head developing feelings for a subordinate should logically be treated as ethically complicated within the context of this story, but the drama barely acknowledges it.
What makes it even more frustrating is that the actors are genuinely doing a great job. The performances are solid, and you can tell they’re trying to make the material work. But despite that, I personally don’t feel any real chemistry between the main couple. They come across more like coworkers or friends, so the romance feels forced instead of natural. The progression of the relationship also feels awkwardly written , rushed , and poorly executed, which makes it difficult to get emotionally invested.
That’s why the whole thing feels like wasted potential to me. The cast is capable, but the writing undermines what the drama is trying to accomplish. If the series had fully embraced being a simple unrealistic romcom, I probably could’ve overlooked all of this. But once you build your story around audits, ethics, and professional accountability, it becomes hard to ignore when the main relationships directly contradict the themes the drama itself is pushing.

Drama of the year ?
This drama shows how two persons heal each other when there having different personalities.. tbh it's a masterpiece they wrote so wellAll characters did their best..you will be involved and feel the pain with them, cry with them, laugh with them..you will enjoy every part of the drama.. first few episodes you may feel dong man talks so much but after watching him, you will like him more and Eun-a always calm and face every emotion without expressing her inner feelings..but it's turned out different when dong man and Eun-a met each other..that's where you will start connecting to this drama..i can talk more about this drama but i will say just watch it

MY STAND IN is a MASTERPIECE
I love this series so much. The plot is different from other series (I have a love-hate relationship with the storylines but it is the best!) I have a traumatic experience watching but I think it is worth it. The main leads Up and Poom acting are top notch. The character Joe(Poom) makes me fall in love but he is too kind for my liking. He should learn how to be bad sometimes so people won't take advantage. Meanwhile Ming(Up) was a red flag! I hate him so much,but I understand him. Imagine having a first love(unrequited)-mistakenly loved the wrong person. But then met this other person (actually his real love) and slowly developed feelings for him.He was in denial. He despised himself bc he thought he betrayed his first love.So he projected his feelings onto this person and treated him badly. But in the end love wins. But it was too late. 3 years waiting in uncertainty, God gave him another chance to make it right and he did. All his efforts to win his love again turned him into the greenest forest. BL must watch!
If you're a fan of Aloha or Jyutaro you totally need to watch this! I don't think the story was amazing by any means but the acting was super fun to watch and it was such a good pairing. Aloha is such an entertaining actor and I found myself laughing a lot at his behavior. If you enjoy series such as Wind Breaker, Tokyo Revengers or even High&Low I think you will enjoy this.Was this review helpful to you?

Not A Comedy. BUT, one of the most beautiful shows I've ever watched
I cried every. single. episode. from start to finish.

Honestly, I was hesitant to watch this show at first and almost didn't, but oh am I grateful I did. Firstly, I was fully expecting this to be a romantic comedy, I had full faith in Perth, Santa, and Dome that this was going to be a funny little show that had "light angst with a happy ending." Safe to say, I should've known better when I saw it was airing on a Saturday and not a Sunday. Conversely, I also didn't have much faith in GMMTV to pull of a show with a plot such as this one with the right attitude, and fully expected them absolutely bomb it. HOWEVER, I was so incredibly wrong. The show touches upon many different mental health issues and delves into some very deep topics such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, su!c!dal ideation, and emotionally immature parents. And as someone who relates to more than one of the aforementioned, the show became a comfort to watch and served as a mirror to my own life, but also as a hope for the future.
For me, the most special part of any show is seeing and analyzing the evolution of the characters, and frankly, Love You Teacher has some of the most nuanced and multi-dimensional characters I have ever seen in a Thai drama. Moreover, the acting was impeccable. I truly must commend Perth and Santa for pulling off such emotional scenes. Specifically, the scene in episode 6 where Pobmek breaks down in Solar's arms after rewatching a clip of him playing the guitar, Solar/Sun's panic attack in episode 8, and like literally every other scene was delivered such such raw emotion that transcended the screen. Every scene had a purpose, every line meant something, and every episode got me feeling every single emotion. I also adored the addition of the scenes from when they were in university, as I feel like it not only gave the audience an explanation for how the foundation of this beautiful relationship was built, but it also gave the characters a whole other level of nuance and depth.
Finally, I want to say that while this show means so much to me, it definitely is not for everyone. The heavy themes and topics can be sensitive to some, while others might not fully understand it. This show came at a very hard point in my life and genuinely gave me the light of hope in an otherwise dark and desolate place. But regardless, from the acting, the plot, the cinematography, costuming, set design, and writing, this show is one of the most beautiful pieces of media I have ever seen in y life.

I don't get the hate
I honestly don’t get why some people HATE this drama when it’s genuinely one of the most enjoyable romcoms I’ve watched in a while. “Sold Out on You” quickly became one of my favorite ongoing kdramas, and I honestly think a lot of the criticism it gets is unfair — especially from people who only watched the first one or two episodes.What I loved the most about this drama is how FUN it is to watch. For the first time in a while, a drama had me giggling, kicking my feet, and literally screaming from excitement after every episode. Out of all the ongoing kdramas I’m currently watching, this is the only one that keeps me wanting more immediately after an episode ends. It has that addictive charm that makes you emotionally attached without even realizing it.
The chemistry between the leads is also so good. I’m such a sucker for enemies-to-lovers tropes, and this drama delivered exactly the kind of tension and slow-burn moments I enjoy. On top of that, the comforting hometown vibe makes everything feel warm and cozy. Even the small scenes feel memorable because the drama knows how to balance comedy, romance, and emotional moments naturally.
And can we talk about Chae Won Bin? She did SUCH a great job. Her acting felt natural, expressive, and charming, and her smile is seriously one of the cutest things ever. She made her character feel lovable and fun to watch, which made me even more invested in the story.
A lot of people say the drama is “unrealistic,” but honestly… it’s literally a romcom. Since when did romcoms become known for being completely realistic? That’s part of what makes them enjoyable. Romcoms are supposed to be exaggerated, chaotic, fun, and entertaining. Not every single detail needs to make perfect sense for a drama to be good. Sometimes it’s more about the feeling it gives you while watching, and this drama absolutely delivers that.
I think some viewers are taking this drama way too seriously instead of simply enjoying the experience it offers. “Sold Out on You” knows exactly what kind of show it wants to be, and it executes that style really well. It’s funny, comforting, exciting, and genuinely charming.
At the end of the day, this drama made me feel something that many recent kdramas failed to do: pure excitement. It gave me butterflies, made me laugh, and kept me looking forward to every new episode. While watching this drama, I already knew I was going to miss it once it ends — and honestly, that says a lot about how much I love it.

More than just a recap
Despite being a recap episode it was pretty entertaining! It was a summary of the story so far but it had quite a few behind the scenes clips throughout. It was exciting to hear about what Shunsuke and Ren thought of particular scenes and their feelings while filming! Laughs Amid Hidden Wounds A Series That Portrays the Real Pain of Human Loneliness
This drama did an incredible job of portraying people’s social struggles and that hollow, empty feeling inside them.The way people treated each other, the emotional distance between them, and the loneliness the characters carried all felt painfully real. What made it even better was how, right in the middle of all that pain, there were funny moments and little bits of humor that let you forget everything for a second, only for that heavy feeling to hit even harder afterward. That contrast between sadness and comedy was honestly one of the strongest parts of the series.
The acting from the main cast was amazing too, easily one of the show’s biggest strengths. They delivered the emotions so naturally that connecting with the characters felt effortless.
Overall, this wasn’t just some simple story. It beautifully captured loneliness, pain, and the struggle people go through just to keep living.

Marshmallow Fluff
This is nothing but marshmallow fluff and an excuse to go to the beach and ride a boat. One unnecessarily loose end is tied up, leaving another in its wake. Lots of lovey talk and pseudo-psychology. i did wonder why the hotel that was supposed to have a Chinese/Thai cultural vibe had racing themes painted on the side of the building. This is a good time to refresh your popcorn and soda. Enjoy it if you like for the scenery and Fort's smile but it's not important.Oh. Peat has solo song and they sing the OST.

Good drama at the start but not worth the time
The concept of a soulmate spell, time crossed lovers and time travel is a combination I have never come across before so I was very excited at first, but I soon became frustrated with the story.I was genuinely excited to watch this drama but very disappointed at the execution and writing. I do not watch dramas that constantly have woman suffering to prop up the male lead and this one does exactly that. Female lead had no serious backing or support and was essentially on her own as the male lead was completely unreliable and just made empty threats. He sacrificed his ‘soulmates’ safety for the sake of family reputation but couldn’t hide her or distance himself for her safety.
Female lead is bubbly and has a fun personality but I feel like all the men around her do not care for what she wants. After the failed attempt to send her home on the full moon she wanted to get a job and wait for the year to end but male lead forces her back to his house knowing that she will be schemed against time and time again. Male leads servant is the hidden villain of this story, he brought her to their world knowing that the second female lead is crazy and evil, he did not care for her safety or life all he wanted was for his master to find his soulmate and not think of the repercussions. The male friend of the female lead from her time period found her interests boring he was controlling and simply wanted her to be complacent yet unique.
Male lead never solved a single thing as someone who is supposed to be powerful his entire role is to save the female lead and I dislike such tropes. He was the whole reason she was in danger 24/7. If he maybe kept some distance or at the very least did not keep her in his house I feel like they could have removed some of the scheming and added more romance.
Second leads are evil and faced no consequences for most of the show besides a few beatings and scoldings. In present day time the grandma and her family have a gaggle of thugs working for them and are completely insane. Selfishness must have been past down through the generations as the only reason grandma Bua’s granddaughter went against her is in hopes that a man would want her. The grandson in both timelines is a disgusting character and only thinks of himself to the point of r*pe.
The spell chanters from the modern day were also extremely frustrating. I understand that it was a task pasted down from their ancestors but I find it odd how the female leads opinion was completely irrelevant to them besides the one time when the granddaughter asked.
The highlight of this show were the gang of servants they were funny and entertaining to watch even the servant of the second female lead made me laugh. They were supportive and had good relationships with their masters, witty and strong characters loved them 9/10. Except for the male leads personal servant of course.
I did enjoy the cute moments between the two leads and their interactions with the male leads family and servants. He comes from a loving household it’s simply unfortunate that his father was saved by a man who birthed an evil creature.
The acting was good second female lead was so good in her role, she portrayed a spoiled, deranged and scheming woman perfectly and same goes for the second male lead. The evil characters were definitely well acted. The good characters were good aswell and female lead had he giggling everytime she slapped herself to see if it was a dream.
Overall I feel like this drama had so much wasted potential and unnecessary torture so I stopped watching as I don’t want my heart to give out from stress. So if you enjoy torture p*rn and useless leads go ahead and and enjoy the show.
