Sometimes the ending will always be the same and that’s okay

Sometimes the ending will always be the same and that’s okay

The only other time traveling BL I have watched was History Future. So seeing another one is really cute.

I swear they played the same song every 15 minutes.

Theres not much I have to say about this show. It was good. I think the meaning behind it was VERY good. like to the point where I am texting and trying to be with all the people that I love before I lose them

Pear was really annoying for like one episode. She really thought the world revolved around her. But then she reedemed herself by saying that she supports Kawi and Piesangs relationship.

The Crystal Ball won’t work if you have already found your purpose. Kawi has already fulfilled his future, there’s no reason for him to go back anymore.

Also if some old man came up to me and said he could fix the ball I got on sale. I would be scared not going to lie.

The fact that everyone just forgave Not kind of really pisses me off. But hey he’s irrelevant

The key is not to worry about the future but live in the present. When shit hits the fan, you need to learn to either run away or stay and fight. You can’t simply rely on a crystal ball to save you every time. Just as you cannot rely on the people around you to shape your life. Live your own life. Be your own person!

Side note: Gawin looks so fucking sexy in a suit

Overall rating, 9/10. I would have preferred more romance. But that’s just me.

Sorry for any grammar errors. English is my first language, I’m just really bad at it.

My new favourite

In mid series, it may be boring or may sound a bit long, but trust me this one particularly is the best ever series anyone can make, be it plot twist, or the story, it'll keep you engaged till the last episode, and yeah it's the first series, be it Indian or Thai or french, which made me cry in the last episode, this one's not just a bl but each and every character is equally important throughout, yeah one more thing, yang just stole my heart, trust me everyone needs a brother like him for life 🥺

A little rough around the edges but still very enjoyable

I liked this one. It's a very simple, short story about reconnecting with someone who used to be important to you and is as such pretty much universally relatable.
The audio and editing are a bit choppy and the acting is a little rough at times, but given the short runtime they really managed to pace the movie well and tell the story they wanted to tell.
If you don't like the unpolished vibe of indie productions, this won't be for you, but if you're willing to overlook some superficial flaws I think you'll really enjoy this sweet little tale of young but enduring love.

Review

I think this drama would have been a lot better if the female lead were yang zi. The FL in this drama does not express the subtle emotions and her acting is not in par with cheng yi's acting. Cheng Yi's acting captivated me, I got immersed in the character and felt very emotional he showed.

The story as a whole is good but the plot development is really slow.

At its core, "True Beauty" resonates with the idea that true beauty isn't just skin deep. A Riveting and Well-Balanced Drama: Suspense and Stellar Performances Shine

In the world of dramatic storytelling, Provoke (2023) emerges as a very charming and suspenseful gem. With a finely crafted narrative that expertly weaves its web of intrigue, this drama managed to deliver both nail-biting tension and heartwarming moments.

One of its strongest attributes lies in the careful orchestration of drama throughout the series. While some parts did feature an excessive dose of emotional turmoil, it's precisely this buildup that made the climax so much more satisfying. The drama took its time in setting the stage, allowing viewers to become deeply invested in the characters' lives and secrets. When the moment of truth finally arrived, it was a cathartic experience, revealing answers to questions that had been expertly concealed.

The actors in Provoke (2023) delivered performances that were nothing short of amazing. Their chemistry on screen was palpable, creating a sense of authenticity in their relationships that drew viewers in. What truly stood out was the balance they struck—never overacting nor underperforming. Their portrayals felt genuine, breathing life into characters who were multi-dimensional and relatable.

The story itself was a testament to thoughtful storytelling. It didn't overwhelm with too many subplots or twists but provided just the right amount of suspense to keep viewers engaged throughout. Every revelation and plot development felt earned, making the drama all the more captivating.

And then there's the ending—a crucial element in any drama. Provoke (2023) delivered a conclusion that felt both satisfying and fitting. It didn't resort to excessive melodrama or abrupt twists but rather provided a resolution that tied up loose ends in a convincing and convenient manner.

In summary, Provoke (2023) strikes a balance that's often hard to find in the world of drama. It weaves suspense and charm together seamlessly, with standout performances and a well-considered storyline. While it had its moments of heightened drama, they only served to make the payoff that much more rewarding. This drama is a compelling and highly recommended watch for anyone seeking a riveting, character-driven story.

Familiar Scent Of Old Kdramas

But as every flower, some smells better and stronger than others.

3 Days follows the classic recipe of older dramas in almost every aspect.
Like all of them follow the same manual step by step when it comes to direction, camera work or cinematography.
Average for my taste but it doesn't really bother me.I drew a line.Dramas before 2015 and those after. So ive decided not to judge too harsh those prior 2015.Regarding the technicalities.

The Ost is the perfect match.OSTs in most of the Kdramas are super catchy, super pleasant, super fitted.

The cast is full of well known actors. This always makes me feel safe, because i know i will not experience awkward or bad acting. There are few Cameos too,i enjoyed.Of course there is an exception to every rule. Here everyone did a good job.Although i haven't watched anything with the main lead (except for one movie)he was good for his role.

Story& Plot:

A fragment of (hi)story everything was built around it.An incident from the past which drives the plot to the present.
And although is predictable as hell, especially if you have watched many dramas or movies of the genre,it offers a full time entertainment (for the action part) and the sufficient dose of frustration (for the political part)
Not bad at all,i may say. There are the necessary clichés too,i can't live without them!It is also really fast paced,so add this to the plusses.

What was really refreshing and something you don't easily find in almost every Kdrama, was the fact that Agencies,Police,Prosecution etc, weren't lame, useless and incompetent,as usual. This really surprised me!

Same goes to our ML.He is a badass with brains.Smart, efficient, capable and a quick thinker. He never stressed me with bad decisions or reckless moves!I also loved his awkward flirting techniques! The Romance is very subtle, but i enjoyed the brief, funny and sweet moments between the main "couple"

As for the main villain he has a name and a face from the very start,so no surprises there.
He is super rich(and greedy too)He has all the resources to plot, scheme and have everything he wants done just by snapping his fingers.
What i didn't like is that they tried really hard to present him as a psycho.Yes he is a very decent villain, but they pushed his personality too far to be believable enough.

I was in a relax mode almost all the time.I usually choose BLs for that purpose, but 3 Days did an excellent job as well.
Don't have many expectations.Is a mix of Political & Action drama.Is not bad,not the best either..Not too deep.Without complex characters.A light watch.
Add it to your watch list and keep it as a back up for the rainy days.
You won't miss anything if you skip it.It is not a Must-Watch.
Its a very decent drama and totally up to you whether you give it a chance or not.

If you ask me,i didn't regret watching it.

A gentle touch to your heart

I strongly believe that showing true emotions should be the main concern of any love story. Can you tell if someone is in love if they don't say a word? If they just stood there looking at each other, would you tell if that was true love?

Luckily, this was the main goal of this show: to bring you into the perspective of someone who is in love with their complete opposite. As cliché as it may sound, opposites do attract each other in most cases.

Of course, there were things that could have been fixed in order to make this truly masterful piece of a love story. For example, the secondary characters are not really relatable, and sometimes you may even feel bored by them. But when the two main characters were put together in the same frame, you immediately forgot about everything else, and you were driven into a wonderful place, and you wish with all your heart that this kind of love happened to you at least once.

The soundtrack of this show is now in my top 10. So I can't really praise it that much without looking like a fan, but I do have to say that it was perfectly matched with some scenes, which resulted in them being engraved in my memory.

When Romance Wins the Race

This miniseries is very good. The twists, turns and chemistry between the leads were enjoyable. The SML was comic relief in so many ways. This type of story has been seen before. However, the ML and FL were strong in delivering non-verbal cues, romantic tension and keeping the overall vibe of the storyline. The OST fit the narrative well and didn't overshadow scenes. I have seen the male lead in a few major roles. He should have more. He is definitely one to watch. The overall production was solid. This is a ROMCOM MINI that is worth the watch,

senseless

literally senseless , a girl who had a fight with her mother because she had arranged a date for the girl . And the girl ran away from her date . Her mother ran behind her to stop her but she didn't listen to her then suddenly she stopped because her mother said that she would not live so long so she wanted her daughter to get married. As soon as she heard this she ran towards her mother but before reaching towards her mother ,she met with an accident and due to which she went to the coma and from there the actually story was started . she was in deep sleep and in her sleep she went to the era where kings lived . then she came to know that she had entered into her own story which she was writing .
I had already watched such drama that's why i didn't find something new . And it was somewhat boring also.
so No from my side.
only female lead's acting was good.

A Disappointing Conclusion: Unnecessary Drama and an Unconvincing Ending

I recently watched Circle of Love (2023), and while it had its moments, I couldn't help but feel disappointed by the unnecessary drama and the perplexing ending.

Firstly, the excessive drama throughout the plot became a distraction rather than an enhancement. It felt like the storyline was trying too hard to create tension and conflict, which often detracted from the overall enjoyment of the narrative. Subtlety and nuance were overshadowed by melodrama, leaving me yearning for a more balanced and realistic portrayal of the characters' emotions.

The ending, in particular, left me baffled. It seemed as if the filmmakers couldn't decide between two drastically different outcomes and attempted to merge them into one. This left the audience with a choice between two conflicting conclusions, neither of which was sufficiently explained or justified. The lack of a clear resolution made it impossible to fully invest in the fate of the characters, and it felt like a missed opportunity for a more satisfying and coherent ending.

Furthermore, the chosen ending felt implausible within the context of the story's established world and character development. It left me questioning the decisions and motivations of the characters, as it appeared to deviate from their established arcs. A well-crafted ending should provide closure and a sense of fulfillment, but in this case, it only left me with a sense of confusion and dissatisfaction.

Despite these shortcomings, I must admit that the main actor was the primary reason I watched the drama in the first place. His talent and charisma were undeniable, and he managed to breathe life into his character, even in the face of a challenging narrative. However, even his remarkable performance couldn't fully redeem the drama from its disappointing elements.

While Circle of Love (2023) had its merits, the excessive drama and the disjointed, unconvincing ending ultimately detracted from the overall experience. It's disappointing when a promising story falls short of delivering a satisfying conclusion that aligns with the rest of the narrative, even when anchored by a standout performance from the lead actor.

Short, sweet & an amazing treat! Guesthouse Tsuyukusa mends broken hearts & relationships likewise.

Ah, Hama Shogo as main lead- and as a chef. This is probably a dream come true for both me and the actor himself. Of course, I watched it because of him. And my goodness, did it deliver! It was heart-warmingly sweet and then some.
The story:
It's a very simple story. The mini-series has 8 episodes, every 2 episodes focusing on a different story. The 4 stories are very simple. Tsuyukusa is a guesthouse in the countryside. I don't know which place it is, but it seems like a rural place and it's very charming. It's a Japanese style guesthouse, has been around for around 50 years and 3 generations. And Midorikawa Haruhi has inherited it from his family. It's not a busy place. Because each time, we can only see that there has only been one reservation made. Each time, the customer comes in with some sort of trouble, usually with relationships. And after staying at Tsuyukusa, eating the delicious food and talking to Haruhi, the customer is able to sort out their troubles. And every 2 episodes, they offer delicious food, the recipes for which are available on the official website of the drama, although I have yet to check them out. It may sound very mundane, but the execution is beautiful, the dialogues are thoughtful and the locations are charming. It's not supposed to be an outstanding drama that turns the world upside down for you. It's just a small reminder for us that at the end of the day, we're all human beings, and no matter how big the problem seems, there's nothing that a good meal and a proper conversation can't solve. The format is also interesting. The first episode of each story introduces us to the characters and problems of that story. And in the second episode of each story, we see Haruhi cook a mouthwatering meal while bopping to a fun song. Seriously, what's not to love?

Acting/cast:
Like I said, I came here to watch Hama Shogo and that purpose was fulfilled 100%. I think he's a good actor. And this drama is a very light-hearted drama that doesn't test someone's acting skills to the limit. So the acting was mostly decent. Also, Hasegawa Kasumi (another Super Sentai actor) is in its 3rd and 4th episode, what an interesting surprise!

Music:
I don't know the names of the songs, but this series features some interesting songs. And all of them were nice to listen to, especially in the scenes where Haruhi was cooking. So maybe the audience can listen to the same songs when making the dishes that Haruhi made in this drama.

Rewatch value:
I know I'd definitely love to rewatch this drama. If nothing else, then at least for seeing Haruhi do cute, silly and so called "unmanly" things.

Conclusion:
This is a short light-hearted watch for people who don't feel like watching something hardcore at the moment. If you just want to relax and unwind and have some free time in your hands, go ahead, give this a watch. It's a mini-series, so at least you won't regret it too much, even if you think it's a complete waste of time. 9/10.

A true masterpiece

I originally watched this show a couple months after it had come out. I had wanted a chill drama to watch a little bit of after a long day at work. Instead I was totally hooked immediately. This drama took my breath away and I could not stop crying whilst watching it, but not all the tears were purely from sadness. This show holds a very special place in my heart because of how beautiful and heartwrenching it is. There is a word in my native language that I rarely hear meantioned in English but it feels like it perfectly describes this show. The word basically means even if something is sad or bad you still WANT to live and to find the happiness and beautiful parts of life. That is this show.

The way the characters get to grow closer whilst they also learn something from the deceased is my favourite part of the drama. To get to learn their life stories whilst they learn about each other and grow together is so well made. The acting, the script, the pacing, everything is perfectly made. Even the sad and traumatic parts are portrayed in a way that makes you sad but does not take away your desire to watch the rest of the drama.

Touching on the acting real quick, I think this is some of the best acting I've seen in a while. The actor who plays the uncle does an amazing job at portraying the different sides and the development of his character. I think particularly the scene where he finds the shoes is a showstopper of a scene. The guy who plays Geu-ru does a terrific job as well. As someone who is very close with a lot of people on the autism spectrum I have to admit I have never watched a show that handles the topic as well as this does and max credits to him for being able to do that at such a young age.

I have watched the show several times and I never get bored (yet I cry every time), this show is a solid 10/10 more than any show or movie has ever been for me. I recommend this to people over and over again.

To everyone who worked on this project, A BIG THANK YOU!

Perfect

Perfect story, perfect acting, perfect chemistry. Love how they manage to set the difference between two countries.

Don't ask about hyun bin and ye jin's chemistry, it is 100% genuine love.

But hellooo the ending?? I'm not disappointed, only sad because seung jun also deserves a happy ending imo. Cause ngl his trope is soo cute actually🥲

I cried so much both sad and happy tears. Like so many tears🤧🤧

But yeah, afterall just watch it anyway you wouldn't regret it.
