Power of Love

Beware: this is NOT a fairy tale with sugar coating and unrealistic happy ending. Please watch it nevertheless. Even if you prefer movies that are light, entertaining and mood-improving.
This movie shows a stark contrast between what's healthy, normal or socially acceptable and our characters, who are neither of these things. We soon learn that those "normal" people are not necessarily moral and their "socially acceptable" behaviours might be plain evil. Our characters, on the other hand, who are absolutely defenseless against society, bear all the brunt, become judged, misunderstood, discriminated against and isolated. Yet they never give up their struggle for love and self-determination. As a result, they might not be able to live happily everafter, but their love prevails nevertheless.

THIS SHOW CAN'T BE BETTER!!!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!! This drama is so freaking good. I really just can't explain in words. Everything from the beginning to the episode I'm currently watching (I had written this review when I was still watching it), you know it's still on-air so yeah, I can't judge its ending but goddamn! The fighting scenes are FUCKING DOPE!!! LIT AS FIRE!!! Broooooooooo, Lee Yeon is so damn hot in this season, I mean hotter than the previous season, he has red hair and goshhh!!! The way he fights, smirks and wins everytime, a new side has been unlocked, his fun side. He is so strong btw and if we start talking about the new characters like first, Hong Joo! God, this woman literally won this show, she's so powerful and smart that omg, and I love her obsession for Lee Yeon and the actress who's playing her role is such a good actress, I must say and goddamn the way she fights, I love her powers and her fashion sense too. Now, the kind of villain, Moo Myeong, I like his power like he says, "fire" and it starts burning, other than that I don't like him, huh. Now, about Lee Rang, I really hope that somehow or anyhow, he stays alive in the present too, I hope that some magic happens and he comes alive, he literally deserves the world. His entries are really worth it, remember in season 1, when he transformed when he came back after meeting Ji-Ah and this season when he comes to save Lee Yeon from Moo Myeong in the created world of the tiger, he's so hot but I must say that I didn't expect his love story, I'm more interested in the bromance between Lee Yeon and Lee Rang because they are almost always bickering, I really love them. But that mermaid scene when she comes to save Lee Rang from those invisible fighters, it legit gave me goosebumps, I was like- yeah she deserves him but when they kissed, I felt off-key like I really wasn't anticipating this nor I would want that. Anyway, I like the trio they formed this season, showing friendship thing but Idk what will happen next, I feel like something is gonna go wrong for at least the next 1 or 2 episodes, but the fact that Lee Yeon is so funny this season makes me laugh fr. But I am missing Jo Bo-Ah so much, I really hope she comes for at least 5 or 6 minutes, just a guest role will do but please come soon. Lee Yeon is literally incomplete without his Ji-Ah :(
Well, It's still on-air so, let's wait more but I must talk about some of its big plot like the one when Lee Yeon went blind and he had to fight with some thugs in the garden of Myoyeongak, goddamn!!! It was legit impressive, he could not see but the way he fought, goddamn, even with eyes he could not fight like that and Hong Joo tried to distract him by turning on the music but the way he ended everything right there, TERRIFIC! Even if I'm watching this right before my end-sems, I still don't regret it because it actually deserves my all. And yesssssss!!! That scene from the parlour when people were turning into worms, when Lee Yeon and Lee Rang came to join in for work and showed how handsome they were and the old ladies were going crazy, I was like, "same-ahjummaaa-sameee". They are so good TT.
The FINALE is soooooo damn good, like OH MY GOD!! It's been so long since I finished it so I can't exactly pour my thoughts completely here but guess what, I still haven't deleted the last episode of it as It's so good, I loved it so much and I still love it. I've put it as my most favourite k-drama now, Idk, leave everything, this is the best one out there. Personally, my favourite characters are Lee Yeon and Hong Joo, I love them so much. Lee Yeon's brain and his powers then Hong Joo's beauty and strength. Both of them are brilliantly powerful and amazing. And the very godly moment of Lee Rang when he awakened all his powers, MY GOD!!! OMG OMG OMG!! This whole show got me screaming, throwing my hands in the air and smash bed everytime and each episode is so good and even the last episode is left on the brick of some curiosity about the original mountain god. Well, I just wanna say that I love this show so much and yeah that scene, how could I forget to mention about it here, when Lee Yeon used all his powers to kill the mountain god of Japan, MY GOD GOD!!! That scene was epic, I love Lee Yeon for that. Well, with that, I'd like to end it here and say that everything about this whole show was amazing and I'm glad that they let Ji-Ah show up finally in the end of the finale episode. Thank you so much, Tale of the nine-tailed 1938, I enjoyed every second watching it.

Usually i'm not too fond of robot, alien or zombie story. But this part of VBL series & since I've already seen the other, i just thought to myself, 'Well... Let's complete the series then... ' so here i am finished watching this...

Story about Chu Yi Ping (YP) & a robot, or they said AI, name Ever 9. YP is a professor in a university, he is very Introvert person. One day, he dislocated his hand in an accident at school, his uncle gives him Ever 9 as a caretaker, an experimental intelligent robot that his company is secretly testing.

Amaze by how close Ever 9 to human being, the reluctant YP welcome Ever 9 to his house & his life. With the warm & attentive Ever 9, YP finally begin open his heart for Ever 9.

When the story go on, we see not only YP that open his heart, but Ever 9 also think YP more than his master. YP & Ever 9 become more and more important for each other. One day Ever 9 suddenly broken. What will happen to YP...? Can Ever 9 be fixed?

That's overall the story.

Even though a little bit scary (imagine one day AI can be that close to human) but I'm also glad to imagine that they (AI) can have human heart & warmth.

I don’t too like how YP that's easy to open his heart for Ever 9. Don't understand what's so special about him. Or i take what YP's uncle more or less said: 'Is it because Ever 9 not human...?'

Overall this quite interesting story to watch...

Crash Landing on You

- I like how every soldier had their own personality.
- Comedic scenes.
- Different from other K-Dramas.
- Music was memorable. (kind of)
- I like the attention to detail in scenes where they remove stuff that North Korea doesn't have.
- They educate viewers on what living in North Korea is really like.
- I wish there were less romantic scenes. (I wasn't too invested in the romance aspect.)

Twenty Five Twenty One

- I like how each student had their own backstory.
- It's just a school themed k-drama based around friendship and fencing.
- Some heavier scenes, some lighter scenes.
- It was ok, it wasn't THAT special. (Above Average.)
- There are just too many school themed k-dramas, and it's hard to make one really stand out.
- Overrated (IMO.)
- It's not that bad. But, some parts were kind of boring to watch.
- I wasn't too invested in the romance aspect, I was more invested in the friendship and deeper topics parts.

Hotel Del Luna

- Acting is pleasant.
- Some comedic value.
- I like how they gave each worker at the hotel some backstory.
- The music is memorable. (Or I just watched it too many times and it's stuck in my head.)
- Very unique concept.
- The ending is exciting.. but there won't be a season 2 *allegedly*.
- I get why there isn't a season 2. The season 1 already explained the bulk of everything and there's not much else to say and film that isn't repetitive from season 1.

The peak embracing the sun

This is the peak beyond peaks.
The rice in my bibimbap.
The whatever the fuck is in kimchi in my kimchi.
This is the best Korean drama I have watched.

Each character plays a major role in the story. Nothing is insignificant. Little random pieces of information that they show can become pivotal plot points. The story is intricately crafted and well thought out, and it shows. The dialogue is peak and important moments get referenced throughout the story, leading to some of the most peak moments I've experienced in a korean drama.

The acting is solid as hell. Even the child actors are kinda cracked. Good shit. After the time skip, I did get abit confused because some of the adult actors do not look like the child actors at all. But still, acting throughout the show was very expressive but not like charicature like at all (different from many kdramas I've seen). Characters aren't smart because everyone else is dumb and the plot demands it. Instead, the politics and mindgames are insane and very well developed. The acting and story complement it perfectly, leading to a very high quality show.

Music is honestly so peak. Fits the scenes really well, The fight scenes are honestly pretty decent too. Better than some modern ones that I've seen. The set designs and costumes/outfits were pretty nice.
I feel like i can actually rewatch this drama. Most other ones have abit too much random padding or unecessary moments. Whereas, every episode is important and very pivotal in The Moon embraces the Sun. Its just so peak. The epilogue also ties up loose ends really well. The ending wasn't some bs ending that doesnt really make sense. It was very well written.

That scene when the chinese characters 二 (two) and 人 (person) and 工 (work) are written on some ribbon and it morphs into 巫 (shaman) is so fucking peak, I nearly shat myself and jumped out my chair.

There really isn't anything to complain about in the show. It's pretty fucking peak. My only complaint is that it isn't appreciated enough.

It is criminal that it only has a 8.4 rating and that My Love from the Star is rated higher.

- ITS LONG (70 EPISODES?!?!)

- Some comedic value.

A drama starring Elaiza Ikeda as a fashion-conscious girl working for a Fashion Magazine who gets abruptly moved to another of the publishers’ departments, the Dictionary section!
When I read the synopsis for Fune wo Amu, it was SO similar to the premise of  the Satomi Ishihara drama Jimi Ni Sugoi, that I initially wrote it off as a copy and made no real plans to watch it. But I do love actress Elaiza a lot and felt I should at LEAST check it out once!
Well, sure enough, there are identical elements that are hard to deny- the “fish out of water” element of the stylish gal suddenly thrown into the stark and rigid department of editing, the stern but compassionate guidance of the elders in the section, the slow realization of the importance of the job, and the inevitable use of the skills in her own life, etc.
With a dictionary-themed show centered primarily around words and their meanings rather than a real “story” per se, this drama probably would have been better suited as 20 minute slices than full blown 45 minute episodes, nonetheless, this was a very sweet and heartfelt show that uses words to touch people's hearts and mend wounds. A nice, relaxing vibe to the show, and Elaiza Ikeda shines as the sincere newbie Midori.

All of Us are Dead

- Gets you hooked on.
- Most characters involved has displayed their own unique sets of personality and characteristics.
- I like how they decided to use the color theory for students to wear green uniforms so the blood can stand out.
- Lots of characters. (There's bound to be one you like.)
- Some deaths are unnecessary and easily avoidable.
- If you're looking for a light zombie k-drama, this is the one for you.
- One of the only zombie k-dramas where the main characters do not have guns.

A fun, lighthearted comedy of a self-professed "hard boiled" detective Kurosagi (Mukai) who goes through life playing a hard-edged badass, however, at night, feels the void of not having a significant other to share things with. And when a bright billboard advertising a MARRIAGE MATCHING consulting company shines from across the way, he takes it as a sign that it's time to act, diving in headfirst into the world of marriage matching with the guidance of an intrepid counselor Kido (Riko Narumi) so he can meet the "one" and settle down!
A fairly basic plot but so much FUN and WOW, the guest stars appearing as Kurosagi's possible partners are ALL stunning beauties in their own right! Actresses like Akane Hotta , Aimi Satsukawa, Maho Nonami, Yui Ichikawa, and even the bubbly Miwako Kakei among others, all of them seeking the man of their dreams!
Each of Kurosagi's attempts gets varied results and he usually ends up striking out for ONE reason or another, but Kido is always there to encourage and support him! In FACT, we soon quickly realize that SHE might be better than ANY of the actual clients she's matching him with!
Kurosagi's personal life outside of the marriage matchmaking game is filled with beauties as well, with women like his former partner's daughter Shinna (Natsumi Okamoto) or even the bartender who works at the bar he frequents (Manami Hashimoto). Seems like this guy is just SURROUNDED by babes of ALL walks of life! If ONLY he could get lucky and actually end up MARRYING one of them!
Aw, this was one heckuva entertaining little drama and I'm glad I was finally able to see it!

- Liked the storyline.
- Music made me scared.. It was memorable, though!
- Some comedic value.
- Acting was very well done.
- Wanted to see more of Don-hyuk and Seo-jung.
- The only music I really remember is that one scary tune.
- After a while, you'd want to rewatch it.
- Quite different from other school themed k-dramas.
- There are some heavier parts and some lighter parts as well.

Only review of people that hate

Everybody have there own taste for sure. it’s not the problem. I am just sad that only people that dislike or hate it review this one and the one that love it don’t say anything.

cheesy, cliche, Deja vu for sure, but it’s done the perfect way !

I love how it can be unserious and also very moving at some point, I was searching this kind of kdrama for a very long time. finally I find what I wanted and I will watched it again !

it feels like an old kdrama with today production, it feel like a real kdrama with non US, Hollywood like coded kdrama that we found in most kdrama nowadays.
Kdramas used to be unperfected, with plot hole it’s true, but with an amazing vibe and emotions.

I love this one so much and I recommend it to people that love old kdramas.
