Beta Omega Alpha ... and other nonsense, there is no romance and the actors are all 30+ years old with 3 series behind them, it must be awful, I won't watch it for sure

Not worth the hypeeee

Such a waste of time bruhhhhhhh... people were praising it like crazy and for whattt? Don't get me wrong it had a lot of potential with the plot but after revealing sth they just got over it... like what was with the flashbacks with Saitharn ex when it literally did nothing to the plot💀💀💀sure after he said to Sila omg no I'm so scared and then after 2 minutes they got together. There were so many plot holes that it started to piss me off I'm not going to lie. The lesbian couple literally had no fucking kiss, no confession scene no nothing, sure it was obvious they liked each other but there was almost nothing going on... idk it was really disappointing for how much it was hyped.

The makers took the execution too lightly.

Rape is one of the worst forms of violence, but even sexual harassment can leave someone deeply traumatized. It can shatter a person's trust in the world and in themselves. They may still be alive, but they often feel emotionally empty, as if a part of their soul has been taken away.

That's why I'm disappointed that the female lead isn't killing the school bullies who were the main culprits behind all of this. From my perspective, they deserve to face the consequences of what they did, and it feels unsatisfying that they haven't.

Everyone who played a role in what happened to her sister and ultimately led her to that horrific fate should have been killed, in my opinion. Instead, she's letting them go, and that's a huge disappointment for me.

Even the revenge and action scenes don't feel impactful or satisfying. I expected much stronger consequences for the people responsible.

This drama shouldn't be called "No Mercy " it should be called "Mercy". She keeps letting the people who deserve punishment go, which completely defeats the title. That was a huge disappointment for me.

It felt unrealistic how she reached someone so powerful with such low-level, unconvincing action. Instead of earning her way to the top through her own abilities, it seemed like the story simply cleared a path for her. It felt as if the route was created for the female lead rather than her fighting her way through it herself. i'm not impressed with action also.

All of these issues made the story feel much weaker. There was almost no sense of tension or thrilling , and the revenge lacked the intensity I was expecting. As a result, the drama never felt truly thrilling or emotionally gripping.

The ending is...-10k/10

The romantic ending is so... yikes. It leaves a rotten taste in my mouth. What do you mean, you get a happy ending? You are a corporate fuck who treats other people's lives as a staircase to achieve your "more money, more fame" fantasy. You destroyed someone's innocence and family with your cold planning and plotting. What could you possibly offer as compensation to mend the broken trust and the sheer cruelty he faced? Scent should have spent his whole life being miserable. Gaysorn should have moved on entirely without Scent, choosing peace with his tribe and his own life instead.

worth it to watch if you want a drama to watch when bored

I absolutely loved this drama, it was executed perfectly and with the right approach. Its just that it felt so wrong that the grandpa told wanwan that she had to break up with him. i felt that was so rude considering what happened before that she had lost her dad her grandma and her mom didn't love her. But i understand the grandpas worries, and i'm so thankful that wanwan ignored him later on still dated the male lead. The cast was really good as to where even if he went close to her i had butterflies in my stomach. Also i loved the aunt and how supportive she was she literally said chase after her if you want i'm not stopping you. i also loved how well they portrayed the characters feelings through the screen. knowing everything that was happening made it so much easier to connect with both characters and feel what they feel, and i haven't seen like that in a drama in a while. but the story was good overall its just that i feel that it was rushed like the directors were trying to finish the drama as fast as they could and the love felt rushed. also i couldn't understand when they were together or not. back when they were 18 he was chasing her but i couldn't understand if they were dating or not because they seemed so close to not be dating. I feel that if they cleared that up it would've been a 10 for me. but that all i really loved this drama overall and would for sure watch it again.

I have never seen greater stupidity in my life!

Earlier I watched some series from COPY A BANGKOK and I realized that all the scenes are terrible, I don't know why I watched this one, because it proved that there is no quality, that the conversations are terribly uninteresting and nebulous, The plot does not exist, the introduction, elaborations, everything is missing, the actors seem to have left kindergarten. Bottom line: waste of money.

The only thing I would "kill" from the c*ck of this nice little skinny Tutor Koraphat Lamnoi. And this Yim Prarinyakorn Kansawa better go fishing, he has no connection with acting.

It's full of yearning!

Just finished watching the drama, and I will certainly take a week at least to get over this. The music is still playing in my mind, the actors' voices are all I am hearing, and the warmth is still lingering...

This drama captivated me at the very first episode, that the very next day I started the novel it's based upon. They have changed the story a lot, some I liked some I didn't. But overall, I don't have any complaint. I saw many novel fans are disappointed with the changes, but they seemed okay to me. Though some ridiculous details are there, but the vibe, aesthetic, music, acting, didn't let me focus on those. And I only find myself every morning before the laptop waiting for the episodes to release.

The drama provides the peak angsty, yearning, losers characters. I mean why the ml says he will make the fl beg for him, and the next moment, begging is what he's doing. He's such a loser in love. He doesn't care being used as long as fl stays by his side.

I really love Keyu as Lu XiXiao and Bao Shangen as Zhou Wan, their chemistry is really what I was not expecting, they are so comfortable with each other, many scenes felt like they were not scripted. Perhaps being the same age added a charm, their acting really was natural to me in all their duo scenes. I saw Keyu first in Always Home, I know he is a brilliant actor. In this drama too, one can really feel his yearning, frustration, helplessness, his eyes are so expressive. This is my first time seeing Bao Shang en, I will say she really done a good job as Zhou Wan. I remember in the novel, it was mentioned, Zhou wan was innocent looking but wasn't exactly, also she is so independent that whenever someone is kind to her, she feels burdened and wants to repay it tenfold. And she asked lu xixiao to not be kind/good to her. Though in drama I guess they did not exactly include this, but you can really understand the moral conflicts she faced. She is a complex character, not the pure, innocent, cheerful one. I will say the actress done really well to showcase that, however I would really love if they could include more scenes explaining her thoughts.

About the story plot, I loved a lot of changes they have done, but one really put me off. Making the fl call ml brother once. It was really ridiculous to me. Also making them live together at ml father's house. It don't think it was really required. One more thing, they really need to understand forced kisses are not exactly romantic.

At last, I enjoyed the drama a lot, the chemistry is what one must really look forward to. And the fl and ml suffers a lot, so be ready to bawl your eyes.

We must lose our footing in order to find balance

Sometimes, a show simply captivates me. It could be the type of story I love, or it might match my current mood perfectly. Maybe it’s because it’s clever and interesting, full of twists and turns that leave me pleasantly surprised. And sometimes I just like it for no particular reason at all. This series is a bit of everything.
Is it flawless? Of course not. It has its minor imperfections. But none of them mattered to me in the slightest. I didn’t just enjoy it — I fell completely in love. The story, the friendship (cough, cough), the gods, the twists, and especially the characters — all of it came together in a way that left me deeply satisfied.
I thoroughly enjoyed the fantasy elements, laughing out loud at some of the shenanigans. There were moments that made me cry, moments that got me excited, and moments I hated, but I was never bored.
Both main characters have huge arcs with a lot of emotional growth, which I really appreciated.
Staking my claim now: no one loves Niran like I do, just saying. He deserves the world. I was giggling and kicking my feet every time he appeared. For a heartless demon slayer, he was surprisingly lovable and caring. He was so hurt and so ready to give up on everything — only the friendship (cough) managed to pull him forward.
How can anyone not love Pete? He was so strong and so fragile at the same time. It was incredibly powerful to experience all of his emotions and insecurities with him. I just wanted to wrap him in the biggest hug possible.
Both Niran and Pete are strong, well-written characters who formed a beautiful bond. I adore them so much. Their friendship (cough) was incredibly cute, and one season simply wasn’t enough for me.
Krist Perawat was amazing as Li Pou. I hope he had a lot of fun with the role because it’s so different from anything he’s played before, and he nailed it.
Overall, I had a great time. The story manages to be cute, funny, emotional, tense, and angsty, while also handling serious topics like grief and abandonment with care. The characters are what truly make this series. The plot was fairly predictable, but it has excellent rewatch value.

"what story?" -- pure epic

ONLY READ IF YOU HAVE WATCHED IT!!!
I was waiting for this drama since 1st june since i had nothing else to watch. And being a writer myself I'm obessed with thrillers just the way professor was, tho i genuinely had NO idea how the plot will unfold.
First of all the plus point? ONLY SIX EPS i love short dramas and i know it's like a roller coaster ride. So i picked my seat in it.
The drama started off very smoothly showing us a student and his professor. Normal uni life, a professor with writer's block & complex martial life ( i don't like the way he treated his wife? excuse me? what even uncle ??? diva took the right decision at the end!) then the first episodes ends up with picking up the speedd. The first damn assignment!
And i cannot blame professor for wanting to read more after "to be continued"
just like him i kept clicking on next ep because at the end professor was representing us in that drama. and tbvh? i never believed lee kang at alll, and his first "attractiveness" with the lady WAS SO DISTURBING!? But i seated throughout the journey trying to understand why this dude likes older women sm? ( again jus like professor lol )
AND OH GOD, THE FIRST PLOT TWIST? My jaw was on the floor I never saw it coming?? I was so invested into the "imaginary mom dad of his friend and i thought yeah this dude just wants to be closer to his "bsf" mom. BUT THE TWIST??? wow! I got mad at first because man wth? why would you deceive me with IMAGINATION?
but then i realized, that is the whole point of "story"
Okay now first plot twist came, and after that the target of lee kang was def. not the women this time but now he got his step into the "murder mystery" and this is where I was like " bro wth? is this jus about a dumb ahh writer and his affairs??" i was so sure that's how the story will keep unfolding and i myself was so invested into finding the real culprit and digging through the evidence! And when in 5th ep, they show how the murder evidence is basically no more yet everyone knows writer did killed her? I was sad actually because i felt bad about the women who got killed and her sister's backstory.
UNTIL.
I WATCHED EP 6 at the start i was like okay this boy might just wanted the professor to overcome his block and THATS WHY I WAS LOWKEY SO DISAPPOINTED CZ WHAT?
but ohhhhhhhhhh myyyyyyyyyy daaaaaayyyyyyyyyyysssssssss
THE TWIST??? they didnt even let me breathe or swallow one twist before another one shows up? WOW
( i lowkey felt slapped too cz wdym i was fooled just like professor was)
and i was actually in denial. This is PEAK.
but the reason of his revenge was SO WEIRD? SO WEIRSD? wdym you got scholarship, befriended that guy and overheard the professor's story, and decided to write in assignment whilst making him beg for more snippets of fake stories? JUST TO TAKE REVENGE? and you even hooked up with his wife ( okay valid for wife lol what even is professor doing atp but DUDE ? )

AND THE AUDACITY TO SHOW AT THE END JUST FOR PROFESSOR TO ASK "what story?"
his character is 101% pure manipulative and i think even the professor knows he's getting played at his hands but i told you, just the way we ended up thinking " now wth he wants to say" professor uncle ended up doing the same.
This one is very complex. No one in this entire drama is a hero or a villain.
10/10

Turkish version better that this one

so i have watched the remake version in Turkish too, and i must say the acting for this drama was better in the turkish version than this one, this one was quiet boring, while the turkish one had more emotions in it (also the actors fitted well together unlike those two)..

anyway if you want the turkish version its called "Kalp Atisi aka Heartbeat"
you can watch it here: https://ahs.turkish123.com/kalp-atisi-episode-1-b/

Who am I? I am the WU

First of all, this is my first Sky-Nani series. I have not watched any works of Sky, the same goes for Nani. I actually did not plan to watch this. It was just one weekend and I don’t have anything to watch so I decided to try this. I can happily say it was the rightest decision!

The concept:
I have read similar plots like this but haven't watch anything like this so I liked it a lot. When I read the novel, it's not much different from the series itself. The only thing that I wished was they could have shown more about Pete and the monkey demon's dyanmic. When I hear the word "demon" I imagine it's dangerous, powerful, and unstoppable. But the way they showed it was very... tame. A monkey in a judo costume. I wished they intensified him a bit more.

The acting:
I am pleasantly impressed with the whole cast. I am not a Chinese speaker so I can't comment much on the scenes they speak Chinese but I think they at least did a good job. Furthermore, I believe this man deserves a separate praise but holy moly Krist! When I first saw Li Pou, Krist immediately came to my mind. But I disregarded it thinking it might be not him. But when I saw the cast, I was honestly amazed. Krist did an amazing job. He was unrecognisable. I also want to commend Nani and his three friends for all of that action scenes they did. The last episode made me a bit dizzy with all the camera switching lol. Personally, the action scenes could have been shown more intensely. I feel like there were times I could see how rehearsed the stunts were (like the punches) but overall, it’s a great stepup for the action scenes.

The cinematography:
I would say this is one of the few GMMTV series that is obviously budgeted. Although there are some scenes that the CGI looked silly but majority of the time, it's great and a stepup from what I see in Thai series or movies in general. I very much liked the color grading as well.

I did not give it a solid 10 because of those silly product placements. For a serious scene, it's just so ridiculous to see a girl in the middle of summoning a demon, drink milk. Like I get that you need to show the sponsorship of the series but come on, there are proper scenes to do that. It honestly ruined that episode for me. Combined with the wonky fog CGI too.

Overall, I have rewatched this when it was not even finished yet. I'll rewatch it again this coming weekend. That's how rewatchable this series is. This also got me interested in Sky and Nani lol.

An Enemies-to-Lovers Journey Done Right

I really enjoyed this drama. The enemies-to-lovers trope was executed beautifully, allowing the relationship to unfold with both tension and emotional depth. Their journey was full of obstacles, but the drama carefully unraveled their feelings in a way that made me root for them from start to finish. Until finale, there was never a dull moment. I might be biased since I’m a sucker for the classic forced-marriage-turns-into-love trope, and this drama delivered it in such a satisfying way. Beyond the main leads, the side characters also had engaging storylines that kept me invested. Wei Liang’s arc especially broke me, and I’m still bitter about what the writer did to him.

On top of the beautiful visuals, the drama shines because of the strong character writing. The female lead is intelligent, brave, and strategic, while the male lead is the dependable heroic type; strong, capable, and born to lead. Their team dynamic also added so much warmth and charm to the story. Although Wei Liang’s fate still hurts, the drama wrapped things up in a satisfying way and has definitely earned a spot on my rewatch list.

Lovely Spouses

This drama has one of the best husband - wife dynamics I've seen in a drama. Although it starts off as an arranged marriage and both have hidden identities, they're good at communication, kind at and protective of each other.

FL is a calm scholar, treating her "wife" very gentlemanly. ML is so beautiful and feminine, but also manly and assertive. The dynamic between them, their families and aides were so fun with so many secrets to protect.

The side characters were nice, too, especially the second brother and the emperor. The story got a bit cliche in the middle, with the introduction of a love rival, but was great overall, with a well-deserved happy ending.
