Great Show with Higher Potential, Still Down to Drain at The End
This show has a very very great potential, probably the highest-potential-that-never-reached that I've ever watched so far. The combination of coming-of-age and police university is fresh and unique. I came with no expectations at all, but the story about university life is lightweight, heartwarming, and easy to enjoy. The first three episodes were heavy, in fact the first episode was very very heavy. Character development is really nice in this show. No stupid breakups, thankfully (even though they have another kind of stupidity).I also have no expectations with the casts, but they were all actually great on it! Chae Soo Bin, Kang Daniel and all others suprisingly delivered the "students" character well! However, I didn't prefer to have Soo Bin play her teenager character herself.
It was all nice and great, until the writer decided to switch the vibe after episode 11. Disney tried so hard to put a western touch in to this show, but clearly they need to learn something: NOT EVERY SHOW HAS TO INCLUDE A MENTALLY-ILL VILLIAN WHO DOES CRIME FOR NO REASON. Now the audience would be confused: audience who were up because of the heartwarming vibe would find it difficult to enjoy the thriller part and vice versa. The chance of university students to collide with and take down a dangerous drug-political cartel was very low, yet they made it as close as possible. Wi Seung Hyun made a very ridiculous decision by confronting Han Sol alone, with the consequence of dragging his friends who watched the video. The amount of time skips in this show is too much! They were just a first year student, suddenly they were already having an on-site training at a station, then suddenly again they completed the training. A lot of things missed out from their void, they should even try to explore the "other side" of the seniors. Instead, they made the seniors disappeared in the later episodes.
In conclusion it's a great show to enjoy, although it's a bit confusing due to the vibe switch. Watch this if you can cope both.

A Drama for the Serious Minded
This is my very first review. I am compelled to do it because the other reviews have done absolutely no justice to this gem of a drama. It is not a show for quick gratification and it eschews almost all of the tropes associated with the typical Chinese romance. What you will find here is an intricate tale of the Chinese porcelain industry and its attempts to weather the winds of change brought about by capitalist modernization. The fragility of the Chinese porcelain becomes a very apt metaphor for the fragility of trust that has to be the basis of any human relationship. The series begins in the middle with the female lead rightly lashing out at the male lead for betraying her trust and breaking up with him. The first two thirds of this drama then tell us how they arrived at this tragic point. We are taken back about six months and we see everything from the female lead’s perspective. She comes from a family of porcelain artists, with her father having been one of the most prominent porcelain painters of his time. Her family business is now run by her uncle and aunt. When circumstances force her to return to her home town which is the heart of the porcelain industry in China along with the male lead, who is trying to gain a foothold in this untapped market, his competitive zeal and his single-minded pursuit of profit leads to him suffocating the life out of his budding romance with her. The last one third of the show is about repairing his relationship with the female lead and allowing their romance to reach its blissful culmination. The heavy research the show has made into the porcelain industry is at the level of a fine documentary. The patient viewer will be enthralled by this. We are shown that this industry, which was initially comprised of state-owned enterprises, is transformed, by the shutting down of these enterprises, into a rough conglomerate of family-owned companies founded by the workers of those very same state-run factories, of which the female lead’s father’s company is most prominent and a de-facto leader of all the others. This conglomerate preserves the ancient production techniques which cannot be mapped on to a capitalist time-line of investment and return and it bars the entry of capital into this industry altogether. Capital is attracted to this ancient industry because it sees it as a reservoir of untapped demand to be transformed into huge profits. However, unfettered capital will simply destroy the porcelain industry for it lacks the patience necessary to produce a fine piece of China. On the other hand, the porcelain industry left to itself will produce nothing but lifeless imitations of ancient artifacts, artifacts which even if they are perfect illustrations of peerless technique have stopped speaking to contemporary times in any meaningful way. This will only hasten its extinction. What is thus needed is a revitalized porcelain industry that is able to meld ancient technique with modern sensibility. This is where the title of the show “Reblooming Blue” comes from: the revitalization of the blue, which stands for porcelain. Capital is necessary for this process of revitalization but in a manner and the degree that does not destroy the very object being revitalized. The show can be seen as meditation on this topic.
This tense relationship between, on the one hand, an ancient industry that conforms to an unhurried temporality and, on the other hand, capital that conforms to a frantic temporality is the backbone of this show and it mirrors the relationship between the male lead, who is the embodiment of capital and the female lead, who is the embodiment of this ancient industry. In the first two thirds of the drama, the confidence and swagger of capital is embodied in the confidence and swagger of this male lead, who is absolutely certain that he knows better than the practitioners and stewards of the ancient craft what is good for craft, that he can somehow satisfy the insatiable demands of the capitalist and maintain the sanctity and the quality of the artifacts produced. He therefore plans to use the female lead to wrest control of her family’s enterprise and win her heart at the same time. But this confidence is shattered when the head of the family, her uncle finds out about his scheme and shuts the door on him. The female lead is also devasted to see that she was being used by one she loved. Thus ends the first attempt at a relationship between the male and the female lead and between capital and porcelain, which the two respectively symbolize. The last third of the drama then shows us the restoration of their romance, which also symbolizes the restoration of the relationship between capital and porcelain on the basis of a new sensibility that combines the organizational capacity of capital, the rigour and patience of ancient technique and the aesthetic ideas that speak to the contemporary masses.
This is slow-paced drama, which is very well-acted out. Each of lead characters well-drawn out and utterly convincing. If you are willing to enter into an interesting and intricate set of relationships, which develop and transform through tragedy and setbacks then this is the show for you. If you looking a simpler reason to watch this show, watch it for the mesmerizing beauty of porcelain artifacts.

Duang With You is the best drama. I really love this drama
Duang is absolutely cute and adorable. His childish side just makes him even more lovable. TeeTee was perfect for the role and brought Duang to life so naturally, I couldn't get enough of him.Wow Qinn is seriously impressive. Por fits the character so well. He's so fine and his acting wow... So cool and expressive.
Marvis is such a diva in the best way and Otto who plays Marvis is honestly the perfect choice. Marvis is such a unique character. I swear I'm still not over him. He nailed that character completely.
And Pae! Wave played Pae so perfectly. Everything about the portrayal just felt right. Every single character in this drama feels so complete and well done. I genuinely loved it. I love this drama so, so, so much. DUANG WITH YOU honestly feels like a special, one-of-a-kind gift for us.
I'm completely in love with the DuangQin and JamieMarvis pairings. They have my whole heart.
Overall, the drama is sweet, soft, perfect casting and beautifully balanced. I enjoyed every moment of it. And I'm obviously so obsessed with this drama. Even after finishing the drama I still haven't gotten over it. This drama is such a hidden gem.

A Second Chance Story Destroyed by Stupid Writer and Terrible Director
The drama Rebirth should honestly be renamed Refuck, because watching it feels like being trapped in a loop of the same bad writing, bad decisions, and recycled nonsense again and again.Watch it only if you have too much time, nothing better to do, and a high tolerance for recycled stupidity.
The plot is a mess. The female lead is written as a perpetual damsel in distress who repeatedly sleepwalks into obvious traps, makes foolish decisions, and waits to be rescued again and again. Instead of character growth, we get the same helpless cycle dressed up as drama.
The story also tries to look clever with multiple endings, but they feel less like meaningful narrative choices and more like confused writing. The logic collapses, the tension becomes repetitive, and by the end, it feels like the writers were simply throwing shits at the wall to see what might stick.
For a drama built around rebirth, revenge, and second chances, it somehow manages to waste all three.
What it actually delivers is repetitive stupidity, lazy plotting, fake suspense, and characters who behave as if basic logic is a luxury item they cannot afford.
By the end, the only person who needs rebirth is the viewer, preferably into a timeline where they never started this drama in the first place.
Not recommended unless you genuinely enjoy frustration, weak storytelling, and characters who keep making the same stupid decisions until your patience dies.

Season 3: Hyun-su’s dual personality is amazing and makes him even more badass. The reunion between Eun-yu and her brother was really interesting. Having one person with a double personality (one side still somewhat human, the other completely devoid of humanity) led to an epic fight scene. Then the alliance where one helps the other escape while trying to solve the bigger problem… The scene where Yi-kyung is killed by her husband in front of their child genuinely shocked me. And the finale was full of intense battles, the fake death of the little girl, Eun-yu becoming like her brother… I thought it was a really good ending.
so watch sweet home !

it needed better execution
i dropped it at ep 10first i wanna mention what i liked, that would be the actors, they did a good job with everything they were given. they had chemistry, not overly passionate but it actually fit their characters and the circumstances. the idea of the series is definitely good and interesting.
now what didn’t work for me. from the first episode something felt off with the overall vibe of the series. it might be a directing issue that i can’t fully explain, but i could feel it very strongly and it stayed like that the whole time.
my biggest problem is the inconsistent pacing and lack of properly shown development. the series basically starts with multiple time jumps, and instead of using that in a smart way, it just skips over important parts.
the main couple
we only really see how they met, not how they actually developed feelings, bonded, or connected. even with the later explanations, it doesn’t hit the same as it would if it was actually shown. they try to cover it with quick “this is what happened” moments, but it feels dry and not enough to make the viewer connect to them. honestly, something as simple as a proper time lapse with actual visual moments of them growing closer would have worked way better here.
the second couple
the rich guy falls in love instantly, but we never actually see the scammer fall for him. then the truth comes out, they break up, and suddenly we’re supposed to believe he’s been in love all along.
the conflicts and how they’re resolved
this is where it really falls apart for me. the falling in love part is rushed, proposals feel rushed, and we barely get to see them act like actual couples. there’s no real sense of the scammers slowly dropping their act or becoming genuine. but once they break up, suddenly everything slows down, they’re 100% emotionally invested, and some parts even feel dragged out or added for no real reason. the pacing just doesn’t match the importance of the moments.
overall, the pacing, emotional development, and tone feel very inconsistent. the show doesn’t really know if it wants to be funny or serious, and it mixes both in a way that doesn’t fully work (at least for me). because of that, the connection to the characters and their struggles never feels that strong.
it honestly feels like a good idea that wasn’t fully fleshed out. the concept is strong, but the execution needed much more work. and yes, i know i simplified the series a bit, it did have more development and connections, but they don’t really stick in memory. they weren’t made significant enough to actually be remembered.

The first season was already so good that I was afraid season 2 would be awful compared to season 1, but what a surprise! Not at all, the story is really great, I wasn't bored for a second while watching the season. The script, the visuals, the acting—everything is really good.
The scene where Hyun-su is tortured in the pit, then his escape where he's frozen, was incredible. Meanwhile, Eun-yu desperately searches for him and his brother, enduring numerous hardships. The encounter with Yi-kyung's daughter leads to that poignant moment when he catches her mid-air, resulting in their reunion. That scene made me smile. And then there's the part where the little girl transforms her mother into a monster… we kind of suspected it once we understood the character. A truly successful second season.

“Cdramas don’t know how to do enemies to lovers right”
The weakest drama in 2024 tho it’s potential to be good, The drama starts so well with much hate/angst and actions scenes with alot of mysterythis starts alone make you intrigued to continue with the drama and to see what will happen next!
then boom !! everything changed by episode 6-7 I think and it was drastic change
it suddenly became a journey of cultivation and lovey-dovey relationships
I don’t know why cdrama always do that
if the novel so dark that you need to change its narrative then simply don’t make it into a drama to begin with
many novels has positive stories to adapt into drama
the best thing came out of the drama is the music(one of the best in cdramas land”
“not worth it unfortunately”

Grandissimo NO.Was this review helpful to you?

Family Court, Real Problems, and Quietly Powerful Moments
I just finished this drama, and honestly, it was way better than I expected. 🎉 The last two dramas I watched with the same male lead were disappointing, but this one? Even though it's not groundbreaking or a masterpiece, it's totally watchable. I'd even call it a hidden gem. 💎Ren Min and Gong Jun play the lead roles. The story follows Shen Xie Zhi, a young judge who works in the family court but loves criminal cases. 🧑⚖️ At first, he reluctantly starts in family court, but as he handles various cases, his perspective completely changes. Along with his colleagues and a lawyer named Qin Rui, they resolve complex social and family issues – parent-child conflicts, marital struggles, and more. The drama also shows the characters maturing and dealing with their own personal difficulties. 🌱
What Makes This Drama Different ⚖️
This drama focuses on court matters, social issues, emotional struggles, and ethics. I've watched many law-related dramas before – criminal cases, lawyers, you name it – but this is the first time I've seen a drama centered around judges, especially with the male lead as a judge. I really loved how the story flowed. The casting and acting were satisfying, and the best part? It's not a typical cliché drama. It handles serious cases with real emotional depth and maturity. 🫶
Why a Certain Line Stood Out to Me ❤️
Let me break down why one particular line from the male lead really hit me:
① "Are you still willing..." – This opening says so much. 🥺
Instead of a forceful or demanding confession, he places all the power in her hands. It's not about taking – it's about respecting her choice. That kind of respect feels rare and genuine.
② "...to be with me?" – The restraint makes it touching. 🖤
Shen Xie Zhi is usually calm, composed, and keeps people at arm's length. But in this scene, you see nervousness and sincerity. That contrast – a reserved person showing vulnerability – feels far more real than over-the-top romantic gestures. 💘
What makes this line powerful is its realism. ✅ It's not a fantasy confession. It's an adult, in a difficult situation, making a brave and genuine choice. You're not watching a fictional character – you're watching someone who feels like a real person you could actually fall for. 💯
More Thoughts on the Drama and Characters 🎭
Family court is quieter than criminal court, and daily-life dramas risk being boring. But this one avoids that with solid writing, directing, and acting. Here are a few moments that stood out to me:
① The fire rescue scene 🔥
After blocking a door, the injured male lead decides to reopen it to save others. It would have been easy for this moment to feel like a cliché hero moment, but here it felt believable. You genuinely trust that this character would make that choice, not for glory, but because it's right.
② Persuading elders and comforting a child 👵👴
The way the main characters handle sensitive conversations – with genuine respect and patience – really stood out. An elderly woman opens up about her painful past. An old man finally shares his love story. And the scene with young Yuan Bao? Genuinely moving. The warmth and care felt real, not forced.
③ Family interactions 🏠
Unlike the female lead's simpler background, the male lead comes from a wealthy, highly educated family – three generations of law, a mother who is a medical expert. That could have felt stiff or boring, but the family interactions felt natural: distance from the father, warmth toward the grandfather, lighter moments with the mother. Those small details made the character feel human.
Final Thoughts 🌟
Making a character in a daily-life drama feel both real and memorable is hard. But this drama succeeds. You believe in these people. You root for them. The show balances serious social issues with emotional growth, and it never feels preachy or fake.
Is it perfect? No. But it's sincere, well-acted, and refreshingly free of clichés. If you're tired of typical courtroom dramas and want something warmer and more grounded, this one is worth your time. 🫶💕

The Best TV show of the Decade! ?
Netflix's K-Drama "When Life Gives You Tangerines" is a masterful TV drama that depicts the realistic struggles of a family and serves as a reminder that although life is difficult, happiness can be found even on the worst of days when you have the perfect life partner! 🫶🏻🍊I haven't watched a lot of K-Dramas, but I recently got hooked on them when a friend of mine recommended a few shows to me. "When Life Gives You Tangerines" was one of the shows recommended to me by my friend and two of my older sisters, who were completely blown away by this show. I didn't know much about it before watching and I didn't know what to expect. However, after finishing this show, I must say that this is probably the best TV show I have ever watched in my entire life! 💕
This show is one of those shows that you must watch at least once in your life, or else you will be missing out on something big. It is one of the most heartfelt, beautifully written, and emotionally powerful dramas I have watched in a very long time. The show follows the journey of a young couple, Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik, in 1950s Korea as they navigate through life's many challenges and sacrifices while creating a family of their own and raising their children, trying to give them a better life than what they themselves experienced, all while staying by each other's side. The show starts when they are around 10 years old, and by the end of the show they are around 70. Which is why, by the time I finished it, I felt like I had lived alongside these characters for years! ✨
The storytelling of this show is done in a nonlinear manner, often switching from one timeline to another. There are episodes where we see Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik's younger years alongside their older years, as well as many events happening in the life of their oldest daughter, Geum-myeong. It does get a little hard to keep track of the events, so in order to properly grasp and enjoy the show, you have to keep an eye on the changing dates and time stamps given in the left corner of the screen while watching. The story itself is very much grounded in reality, and the writers understood that the best way to emotionally connect with viewers is by showing realistic slice of life moments and how this couple thrives in those situations instead of using flashy romance, overly dramatic scenes, or shocking plot twists. From the very first episode, this show creates a warm atmosphere that feels deeply human and incredibly sincere. It tells a meaningful story about love, sacrifice, family, marriage, and the quiet strength people show in everyday life. The writing is layered with so much heart and wisdom that even the simplest scenes carry emotional weight. Even though the story is about family struggles and sacrifices, there are plenty of lighthearted moments where you will be able to laugh alongside the characters. The pacing is also wonderfully handled. It allows us to live the moments with the characters, understand their decisions, and truly feel the passing of time in their lives. There were episodes that made me smile warmly, episodes that made me tear up, and episodes that completely shattered me emotionally. This is why every joyful moment feels rewarding and every painful moment hits so deeply!
For me, the highlight of this K-Drama is the way it chose to portray the beautiful companionship between Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik. Watching them do "marriage" will make you believe that with the right life partner, it is possible to conquer anything that life throws at you. Even when financial situations and family life were both going dangerously bad, they were each other's rock and were able to find tiny bits of happiness during every difficult situation. Younger Gwan-Sik reminded me a lot of my own husband, while older Gwan-Sik was an exact copy of my father, which is why I loved this character so much! This man is truly the poster boy for green flag husbands and fathers! 💚 While Gwan-Sik tried his very best to be the best husband and father, I absolutely cannot deny the contribution Ae-Sun had in his life as a genuinely supportive wife. Ae-Sun also deserves praise because she sacrificed a lot to be by Gwan-Sik's side even when they were financially struggling. But above all, when the time came to give up even the little source of finance that was supporting them, she did not back out because she saw how badly her husband was being treated by his employer. The portrayal of how a healthy and loving marriage works is shown so excellently in this show that I was heavily invested in their relationship from beginning to end. 🫶🏻
Love was shown in two different ways in this show. On one hand, we get Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik's love story, where they were together from age 10 and ultimately got married, had children, and went through life together. On the other hand, we see their daughter Geum-myeong experiencing love in a different way. This contrast in both love stories helped me realize that not all love stories get a fairytale ending and not all first loves reach their ultimate destination. Sometimes, two people can be good people at heart and share pure love, but still cannot fulfil it by getting married and settling down together due to various sad yet real circumstances.
The parental relationships in this drama were another major strength. The love between parents and children is portrayed with so much warmth and honesty that many scenes brought me to tears. Parents are shown sacrificing endlessly while still carrying their own pain. Children are shown misunderstanding their parents at times, then gradually realizing how much love was always there. I specifically loved the mother-daughter dynamics shown through Ae-Sun's relationship with her mother and later through Ae-Sun's relationship with her own daughter, Geum-myeong. I really loved Ae-Sun's mother's character. She was a very strong woman who did everything she could for Ae-Sun. We also saw Gwan-Sik as a doting father to Geum-myeong, and I was very emotionally connected to their relationship as well. Their sweet father-daughter relationship had some of the best moments in the show.
All of the characters in this show are written so well that they feel like real people I am watching in front of my eyes. None of them are perfectly good or bad, which is why you can't hate any of them. A lot of times, characters say and do things that are wrong, and that contributes to making us as the audience feel like they are real people. As a result, everyone is lovable and memorable in their own way. The arguments feel real, the sadness feels real, and even the moments where the characters are overwhelmed with joy also feel so real that I was forced to rejoice with them!
I absolutely have to praise the phenomenal acting performances from the cast. Everyone in this drama delivers performances that feel raw and honest. No one feels like they are acting for the camera. Instead, they completely become their characters. We see IU and Park Bo-gum as the younger versions of Ae-Sun and Gwan-Sik, while the older versions were played by Moon So-ri and Park Hae-joon. Both pairs had brilliant chemistry, which is why this story worked so well on screen. IU is a phenomenal actress, and here she also plays the role of Ae-Sun's daughter Geum-myeong. She was able to portray both characters perfectly, capturing their unique personality traits and setting them apart from each other. But the one who shines even more than IU in this show is definitely Park Bo-gum. This man is something else! The supporting cast was also excellent, and I especially loved Kim Seon-ho as Park Chung-seop, the struggling artist who makes a fateful connection with Geum-myeong.
The excellent cinematography and visuals of this show make you feel like you are in 1950's Jeju Island, and as the story progresses, the changes in visual effects and color grading help you realize the passing of time. The cinematography captures both the warmth of home life and the loneliness of difficult moments so well. There are also scenes that leave an impact because of the cinematography and camera work, especially when Gwan-Sik swims across the ocean and hugs Ae-Sun, or the very last scene of the show where we see Gwan-Sik and Ae-Sun walking in a field of yellow flowers and sharing their dreams about the future.
In the end, "When Life Gives You Tangerines" is a TV show that will forever stay in my heart as one of the best things I have ever watched in my entire life! 🫶🏻 If you are looking for a drama with excellent writing, unforgettable characters, and meaningful life lessons that stay with you long after the final episode, this is absolutely the one to watch. By the end of the show, I was left in tears because of how heart touching my experience was with this. This drama won't only entertain you, instead it will touch your soul! 🍊✨

The never-ending push-and-pull
Finished it — 7.5/10.All 40 episodes in a few lines:
Her: “He’s evil. I hate him."
“Wait… he is not. I love him.”
“Actually, he is the devil lord. I hate him."
"He doesn't want to become one tho. I love him."
“umm.. you know what? guess I still have to kill him and save the world.”
Him: “Please just kill me. I love you."
The drama was good enough to not drop it. the second half bored me so much. Starting from 23-25 th episode it got so messy. Too many exhausting flashbacks and way too much push-and-pull. All that for what? A ending like that? Ugh
The music, costumes, CGI, acting, and cast were all really good honestly, almost everything worked except the story, which is kind of the most important part.
A decent one-time watch, but if I had known I wouldn’t end up liking it that much, I probably would’ve skipped it.
Just not for me ig.

Only for visuals and vibes, nothing else!
Okay....lesson learned, never watch a GJM drama for plots...like never. Its always some pretty actors with some pretty cinematography and visuals with some pretty music in the background... But the main core of the drama, the story.... better not talk about that.I didn’t start Veil of Shadows with lots of hope or anything. Already saw what happened with Fangs of Fortune which was such a eye pleasing yet one of the most frustrating dramas i've ever watched. Same with MJTY. Maybe there wasn’t anything else to watch at that time,so i started VOS...and yeah, same thing again.
The story is simple. There's a dragon deity who is actually not real, only pretending on behalf of the og dragon deities for centuries, for the real and last dragon deity to come and take the throne. Meanwhile there's millennia old nine tailed foxes, a very old villain who doesn’t have any form of body and some other characters. Interesting, right?? Yeah,it was....for the first couple of episodes. But my goodness the way everything got ruined, confusing and blundered in the midway..... Confusions after confusions, plot twists after plot twists...and those plot twists was'nt even some mind-blowing earth bending or anything, it was just wtf just happened???? They made this simple story so confusing, at some point it became head scratching level frustrating, like WHAT IS HAPPENING AND WHY IS THIS HAPPENING????
If i talk about actors, all of them did really good. I have seen Tian Jia Rui in MJTY and FOF,this young boy has real talent and acting skill. He didn’t disappoint, both Ji Ling and Dragon deity was portrayed good and lively. His back story as the blind fox,how he became the false dragon deity and sacrificed his whole youth only to perform his duty and later made those puppets to live that little bit of youthfulness....okay this bit was sad and extremely touching and TJR did so well.
This is my first time seeing Ju JingYi... so i can't say much about her acting, but she was believable as the cunning shrew nine tailed fox who later fell in love with Ji Ling. But their love story was really rushed. The had chemistry but it couldn’t properly bloom cause of the absurdity that was happening around them.
About Joseph Zheng and Chen Duling...This was the couple I adored. But unfortunately, they didn’t get that much screentime as I expected. Joseph was supposed to be the hero of the story beside the dragon deity...but his becoming a real dragon deity was so underwhelming... He never got a real HERO scene in the whole drama. And Chen Duling....girl can act. She was beautiful, both as a fox or in human form. And their story in the star stone arc was my most favourite, both of them were like really living as an old couple who are in love. They played it beautifully. But its unfortunate, after that arc ended,we never got that love and affection back from them....they were just..there,almost used like a plot device.
The one that surprised me most was YanAn...i first saw him in FOF, but his screentime was short, but he showed the glimpse of his talent. But here as Li Jie and six eye butterfly demon,he was fantastic. His dilemma, his sadness, his protectiveness towards Ji Ling and his evil arc as butterfly demon and also his backstory everything he carried gracefully.
But the arc that made me almost bang my head against the wall was the star stone arc. Listen, time travel is one of the trickiest thing to ever execute on drama,if you miss one tiny little part, the whole story falls apart. So,if you dont know how to write it,just dont write it,and also dont try to be smart by making it overly complex. But here they used it multiple times, not only in star stone arc,but also later with Lu Wuyi...completely forgetting about any kind of consequences or butterfly effects. Plotholes were everwhere, frustrations and confusions were the only thing left.
And idk what this directors fetish with killing every possible character in the drama. And in VOS,he even outdid himself, almost every character died at least once and then even before you done mourning for them, they came back to life. Our lead couple was probably in a competition how many times each can die in the name of self sacrifice and then come back like nothing happened.
However, visually or musically it was not on the level of FoF,but still if you want to watch good cgi or pretty actors, watch it. Ending is bittersweet,so yeah, thats one way better than FOF.
