ITS SO FUNNNNN!!
Ahhhhh the ending could've been done better. I will say this right off the bat. It needed something more climactic for sure. That said, its SO fun to watch. Thup's "curse" is executed so well and I was genuinely so scared in a lot of the episodes š¤£š¤£. The ghost element is tied in very well and I also really like how Thup seems to know a lot about different rituals and helps along with the investigation.
On that note: the investigation scenes could've used better writing. I feel like they weren't asking enough questions? Though I can attribute that to nobody knowing WHAT to ask because of the nature of the crime (and also where Thup comes in). I also think people should've been more suspicious of Thup in the beginning lmao (he's literally the only one on the scene of the crime).
Now onto the romance. I'm surprised people found it odd. I personally LOVED Thup's forwardness and downright cockiness, and I loved seeing Singha just give in eventually. Their romance is like a fresh breeze to the investigation, and I like how Singha is selfless when it comes to protecting Thup and wants to really help him however he can. Pavel's portrayal of Singha is honestly so so good, I would even say he portrays Singha better than Pooh portrays Thup. (Though I ADORE Thup.)
I did not find myself bored even once, and I was constantly hooked by the plot, the story, the romance. This is one series where I LIKE that the romance is almostttt a sub-plot. They really tried to show a well-done crime plot and I can respect that.
While the ending needed to be written better, this series is definitelyyyyyy worth a watch, and even a rewatch if you enjoy horror-esque shows.

A car crash you can't look away from
Are all the characters good people? No. Do I still love and root for them? Yes. Only Friends is one of the best paced and most thrilling Thai BL's out there and makes several creative choices that pay off (for instance the mockumentary style interviews with the characters). This series also has a phenomenal soundtrack and an intro that I never not once thought of skipping. I will now do my best to explain the characters and their dynamics:SAND: A very caring and compassionate man who works hard to get that bag whilst studying at University. He ends up falling for an alcoholic, self centered, rich boy who turns his life around. (He is also a very talented musician.)
RAY: The rich boy in question. He's an asshole but he has trauma that explains his behavior. He has been in love with Mew forever, and starts a fling with Sand before sorting out his feelings.
TOP: I hate this guy bro. He is an insincere man with no self control who "quits" his playboy ways in order to date Mew.
MEW: I also hate this guy. He is the "nerd" of the group with a sweet guy persona. In reality he is petty as hell and self destructive (although the reason for his downwards spiral was kinda valid). Mew is not a bad guy and actually cares about his friends but I couldn't help but dislike him.
BOSTON: A selfish man engrossed in hookup culture (he a baddie he know he a ten). He uses his "i don't care about anyone" attitude as a shield and does bad things to the people he loves in order to feel better about himself. Boston has a slight obsession with Top after hooking up with him once and eventually develops a soft spot for Nick. (Even though he is objectively the worst person in this show he is so charismatic I can't help but like him).
NICK: A man who falls in love with and grows protective over Boston after becoming his regular hookup. Nick seems like such a sweet guy and its sad to see him become so desperate over Boston, who he knows full well will never commit to anybody. Does Nick make some poor decisions along the way? Of course. But he's in loooooove you can't blame him.
Namchueam: A lesbian queen who is the only thing holding this collapsing friend group together. She is an amazing friend who isn't afraid to put others in their place. Namchueam and her girlfriend April, have the most stable relationship in this series by far.
So what are you waiting for? Watch this show and enjoy the absolute mess unfold. (At least one couple gets a happy ending).

I Want A Duang in My Life
That headline is how I feel after having watched eleven episodes of this series. I hesitated to write this review because I have not seen the last episode. But I don't think the finale will invalidate what I feel. Like many, I don't want this series to end. Then again, all good things must come to an end.I'll try to cover this topic by topic.
Duang Is WITH YOU
To be fair, Duang the character may not suit everyone. He is transparent. Vocal. Sometimes over the top. But ultimately, he is full of love. Committed. Unafraid to drown you in his affection.
Teetee brings this character to life in the best possible way. The range he shows is frankly impressive. And it's why I grew to love the character. Duang can be excessive, but in the right moment, Teetee reveals an incredibly mature person who is present not out of addiction but out of sincere affection. I felt warm watching him. And I can understand why Qin would feel that warmth too.
I also have to applaud Por for making me feel the warmth Qin feels. The build-up is gradual. I can see Qin's fear and hesitation. But I can also feel his desire. Sure, there were moments when the acting felt awkward. But overall, it works incredibly well, especially considering this is Por's first lead role. He carried the character with real conviction. And that must be because he is in the company of a great ensemble.
The friends in this series shine as well. I wish there had been more moments with them, but I understand the constraints. There is not much real estate to tell their stories. Still, the actors brought out their characters well enough to make me want to know more. That says everything about how cohesive this ensemble has been.
The Cinema
The director and the entire production team did an incredible job. Major props to the director of cinematography. The way they shape the light. The way the colorist sets the mood and balances each scene. Everything works remarkably well.
I am particularly enamored by a scene in Episode 9. The scene by the piano. The actors look impeccable. The color is perfectly suited for the emotion. The way the light sculpts them is nothing short of perfection.
There are continuity issues here and there, but nothing severe enough to spoil a scene. Overall, a job beautifully done.
The Soundscape
I can understand why some viewers would be bothered by the sound effects. But I see this as a cute series, so I don't mind them. It also helps that the soundtracks are beautiful. The mixing is superb. I love the fact that the dialogue is always clear. The background music very rarely drowns it out. It is almost always complementary. Another job well done.
The Message
This series is loaded with examples that highlight the importance of communication in relationships. Between lovers, family, and friends. There are so many instances that show the depth of empathy these characters carry.
I appreciate that the two leads have the range required to bring out the best of these messages. Teetee and Por have bewitched me.
Qin carries childhood wounds that the series handles with extraordinary care. The writing never sensationalizes what happened to him. It lets the weight of it sit in his body. In the way he flinches. In what he asks for and what he cannot bring himself to ask for. Por carries all of this without a single false note. I sometimes choke up whenever I recall just how grounded Qin is despite everything. He could have ended up a complete disaster. But he did not. And the series never lets you forget what that composure costs him.
I wholeheartedly recommend this series. But I also recommend that you watch it with an open mind. Let the characters tell their stories. You may find it as rewarding as I have.
Duang With You is, without a doubt, the most lovable BL series I have seen so far. It is adorable and full of moments that make my heart leap and appreciate the beautiful.

Don't watch this shit its just bad
Here the bad ones gets away and just the good ones die , very much bad story. First i thought the female casting was bad now i realize why other female cast was not available. It was such a disaster ,it would have been good even if both leads had a good ending but at the end the villains just say sorry and escapes that's it. So much promise, so little pay-off. This drama is wasted potential.
The supposed āselling pointā of this series is the supernatural element. You know, curses, ghosts, mystery...Except somewhere along the way, the supernatural got shoved into a closet so the show could force-feed us a romance that isnāt even well executed. If youāre going to sideline the ghosts then at least give us a love story worth caring about šš??Watching this felt like two different productions rammed together. Episodes 1ā2 and 11ā12? Fantastic. Creepy atmosphere, strong setup, I was genuinely peeking through my blanket but still hooked. Then⦠everything in between. Itās as if a completely different director, cinematographer, and scriptwriter took over and decided that the curse is actually a side-plot now.
Episode 1 had me invested: who is this boy, whatās his curse, whatās lurking in the shadows? But once Khemjira lands at the Masterās house, the show abandons all of that. Instead, we get a romance that fails to explain why Peem even falls in love with him. Half the time I was sitting there thinking: If heās cursed, where are the ghosts? Where are the consequences? Why is everyone acting like this is fine when the curse is supposedly at its peak? Sure, Peemās house is a temple, so maybe ghosts canāt stroll in, but the writers could have introduced SOMETHING to show the curseās impact. But nah, nada. Why is the curse suddenly such a one-ghost thing?? Why does the one-ghost thing only happen when Khem is at Peem's house?? Why is there no stronger consequences??
Honestly, I only started enjoying the series again once Khem returned from town and went back to his dorm. At least then the story remembered it had a *scary* supernatural plot.
I genuinely want to support dramas that try to introduce complex elements to queer stories and do not want to make "it's queer" the drama's entire personality. This drama managed to fumble both the supernatural plot AND the romance. Like⦠pick a struggle. Peem seems bizarrely unconcerned that Khem could literally die from his curse, and Khem himself doesnāt seem too bothered either. I will not deny that the themes they were intending to explore (including not only the magic, reincarnation, karma, and buddhist elements but also the themes related to Ramphueng, familial devotion, sacrifice etc.) were great and deserve a shoutout, so does the production, but I simply cannot overlook the problems with the plot.
This is a story that does a back and forth between āomg my curse!ā and āomg does he like me back though!ā without ever committing to either, and in so doing, fails to stick.
The only thing I absolutely loved is the OSTs lmao.

From Doubt to Love: A Masterpiece
Since the beginning of the drama, I kept my expectations low because of Chinese censorship, especially about time travel between modern and historical periods. I was always a bit anxious, worried that the ending might disappoint me.But as I kept watching, I got completely absorbed in the story. I was so emotionally involved that I was afraid even a small mistake in the ending could ruin everything.
After finishing it, I can honestly say this drama is a masterpiece. I already miss it so much.
I loved all the charactersāthey were incredibly charming. Especially Nang Hengāhe truly stood out. His strong villain aura and his cold demeanor toward Song Yi Meng made everything even more compelling and how slowly he fell for her was beautiful.
The way the story slowly developed left a deep impression on me. Iām sure this drama will stay in my heart for a very, very long time.
I truly loved everything

18th Rose is an amazing movie that mixes romance, comedy, and emotional moments perfectly. It made me laugh and cry, and I would definitely watch it again. One of my favorite parts was when Rose finds out she has brain cancer and tells Jordan right away. I liked that she didnāt hide it or wait, which made their relationship feel real and strong.
The storyline felt original, and I havenāt seen anything quite like it before. Overall, itās a beautiful and emotional movie that really stays with you!!

Honestly, I loved it.
I think in terms of acting this is one of the best bl series I've ever watched. The acting is so great that at times I was shocked at how good the acting is. Lol. Bright Rapheephong is a BRILLIANT actor. Now that he's signed with GMMTV, I hope they make use of his great talents.I can see that some people have issues with this series being too "idealistic" about the treatment of queer people in the past. I respectfully disagree with this critique. Not every story needs to stick to strict realism, nor should every queer narrative end in tragedy or pain. The beauty of this series lies in its choice to imagine a world where love is met with support rather than condemnation. By showing Jom and Yai embraced by those around them, they offer a hopeful counterānarrative that I really REALLY like.
I would have liked to see some more background stories for both Jom and Yai; about their relationships with their parents/siblings, why they are how they are etc. But I can't myself to be too bummed about it because of how beautifully the romance is portrayed (in order for which they add to take away time from other things). It's not often in bl dramas that you see a romance so tender, and affection so well executed. I also really liked the exploration of other themes of the past, such as equality for women and equality/better standards for the workers of the house.
Additionally, I am a huge fan of ambiguous explanations in time travel dramas because it adds to this mysterious fantastical element where none of us know why they're time traveling. It lets me really delve into the mysteries of the universe, so to say. It allows me to think, ah, the universe will bend for love, whether that makes sense or not.
Yes, the series has its imperfections, but to me, thatās beside the point. Too often, bl dramas lean on fetishization, stereotypical roles, or simply aim to deliver NSFW content without much thought for character depth. I Feel You Linger in the Air is different. The romance here is carefully shown: tender, and intentional. You can feel that the creators wanted to portray a genuinely good queer love story, not just a spectacle.
This series lingers in the heart long after the final episode, and I think thats what makes it a truly meaningful work.
P.S. The song "Plumeria" by Cocktail (which I think is the OST?) is stuck in my head. Love the song.

Simply love it
I've just finished watching this drama for the third time and it's only been available for over 6 months.I enjoyed how the story grips you right from the start and you don't want to stop but keep going. I was nervous for Xu Yan's lies to be found out in the first few episodes š
Honestly, the acting was so good. Zhao Lusi, William Chan and all the cast played their roles very well. And i must say this with the utmost respect; Zhao Lusi is a great actress. They way she portrayed the younger Xu Yan was amazing. Also the scene where she was crying and eating š š and when she cleaned off her make-up (even the director was so proud Lusi could do that when others care so much about looks)
The OSTs 100/100 ā¤ļø All the songs are so good that i now have them on my playlist.
The only sad thing is that I wish it was on Netflix
Don't want to say more but i would highly recommend this drama. 10/10

Who approved that ending ?
Man, this was going so well. The acting in this series is pretty good, and the dialogues for Khun Thee's character are genuinely pretty funny. I was enjoying this series up until literally the end. The fact that Khun Thee proposes is very in character, but the fact that Peach says yes???????? So out of character for him. He doesn't even necessarily look happy in the scene. For someone as grandiose as Khun Thee, I would've expected a proposal that is a little drawn out, a little more well done. And for someone like Peach I would've liked to see at least SOME deliberation?? SOME push and pull?? Not only does he not say anything about the proposal, but somehow, he doesn't even say anything about the marriage, and they just show us a rushed marriage scene. Neither do we get to see them being involved in the planning which is also so out of character for the both of them??It would've been such a great way to showcase their differences in personalities, how they have opinions on something like marriage, and how they ultimately compromise about how to do the ceremony because they love each other. But no, they had to go and show us a ramshackle marriage because they wanted to wrap up the drama in 10 episodes. Also, why does GMMTV think we want 10-episode dramas?
And why is there no elaboration on the fact that Khun Thee literally adopts the two kids and they magically say yes to him?? Orphans aren't just pushovers...like that genuinely pissed me off. We do not get to see Khun Thee ever spending time with them, or Peach indicating that he's happy about the adoption.
Such a bummer because I thought this series would be in my top rated, but apparently not.

The premise is immediately gripping; a healer who leads a double life as a thief and a prince obsessed with capturing her. I especially loved that the female lead is written with genuine maturity; sheās strong, capable, and refreshingly avoids the overly childish tropes that can sometimes plague female archetypes in the genre. Itās a breath of fresh air to see a protagonist who feels like a real woman.
The chemistry between Hong Eun-jo (Nam Ji-hyun) and Grand Prince Do Wol (Moon Sang-min) is simply magical. They donāt just portray their own characters⦠they embody each other as well, navigating the body-swap premise with such natural ease that you almost forget youāre watching fiction.
The supporting cast is equally stellar, with every performance adding depth to the world-building.
As a lover of historical dramas, I can recommend this one without hesitation.
Itās romantic, fun, tender, and at key moments, deeply moving.

Coudnt get into it
I was really excited for this drama because the plot sounded so interesting ā even though the ratings weren't great. And usually, low-rated dramas end up being the best hidden gems. But sadly, that wasn't the case here.I had a hard time getting invested in the story, mostly because I really disliked Seok's character. He kept attacking Seol the whole time, and it completely ruined the drama for me. I tried to push through, but I gave up by episode 4.
Verdict: Great idea, poor execution. Couldn't finish it.

Cannot believe they put this on Netflix
The whole time while watching this drama I could not figure out why they couldn't write the characters and the plot execution better. Jade and Khamin are supposed to be "good" police officers, but their investigative skills are less than averageābad even. At no point do they display urgency to solve the crime, they do not ask questions that should be asked, they didn't even look into Puifai's background to find out that she was in fact dating someone else. At one point they're standing over a dead body and flirting??????? If you want to make a bl series that has more of a plot than romance, at least try to make the plot good???????? Why insert a plot when there is no intention to follow through on the quality?? If you have an inability to write a good crime script then just stick to romance man. Though I have to say; GMMTV is not vastly great at that either. Most of the time their selling point for the series is that it's bl.I am genuinely astonished by the fact that they chose a plot with such a gruesome murder and paired it with characters that do not care that college kids are dying. This was not engaging to watch at any point. I just found myself being annoyed at how the characters were making decisionsāor a lack of decisions, rather. Save yourself the trouble and don't watch this lol.
I do not mind Joong or Dunk's acting and it's a shame because they seem to do better at slightly comedic plots, and this plot DOES NOT SUIT COMEDY. They put a lot of light-hearted scenes where light-hearted scenes DO NOT BELONG. If you have talented actors at least you should know where to put them. This would've been better as a non-murder mystery drama.

Bloodhounds... it's poetry
I loved it, this was brilliant. The way the action sequences were choreographed, I bow down to that and the director. It was just too, too good. The performances and the sound mix were all top-notch. Iāve just finished it, and I canāt stop thinking about A Shop for Killers Season 2, I donāt know why. But this IP and this series have really set a new standard for boxing-themed dramas in world cinema, tbh. Now I want to explore even more brutal and authentic ones, letās keep more seasons coming, we want Season 3. And Woo Do-hwan, youāve won a fan in me.Sorry to disappoint, this isnāt a full review, just some raw thoughts. I donāt have time right now to write a proper one, but this is something you absolutely shouldnāt miss. You wonāt even blink through the seven episodes, itās that good. Thatās it.
