Wuxia GL!!!!
Why are GL fantasy dramas so rare? idk but this production team has taken on themselves to make sure we don't starve.The plot has layers, the characters are all vibrant and compelling. If you are particularly attached to polish then you should probably check your expectations as this is a low budget production, but in many ways that is the best part. Indie projects like this have HEART. You can tell that these stories are love letters to the genre, made by people who are actually fans and artists.
If you enjoy this, and don't know this team, then buckle up because they have more content! They have made a few wuxias and a few moderns too. And the more you dig in, the cozier the cast feels.
This drama in particular is a robust epic that has some fascinating writing. I would watch so much more of this.

That was a cool trick Genm!
You can view this mini-series right after watching Kamen Rider Heisei Generations: Dr. Pac-Man vs. Ex-Aid & Ghost with Legend Riders. It's supplementary to main series. You can skip it, however, why would you?This mini-series don't have a very "deep" story, but you are not here for that depth either. You get to see some of your favourite Kamen Riders and have them fight. Visual effects were cool, fights were fun to watch. And musical score was good. And there's a cool twist at the end.
If this was part of the main series, I would score it little less, thinking it's just fluff, but as a youtube web-series, it's great. Would recommend!

Slightly underwhelming
I generally liked this show, however there was only one thing that bothered me, which is the way the show focuses only on 1 couple out of 4, I understand that it's mainly about them, but the other couples stories were underdeveloped and they tried hard at the latter episodes to tie all loose ends making it a happy ending for everyone, unfortunately we were deprived from a proper storyline, and many sweet moments.Overall, mediocre, story and everything is basically predictable, but it is a very lovely healing drama with great leads.

a darker shade of romance
When i started watching this series, I wasn't sure where the story was heading - there were these wierd cases and there was female lead's relentless pursuit of her friend's case and her excessive care towards her students - No teacher can be as selfless towards their students as she is, despite knowing protecting them could mean she could sufffer losses, she still does it, her excessive care tells you she went through something, but it wasnt apparent in the beginning what it was and dont know how to tie it all up, it took a few episodes for the story to establish what the story want to say and where it is headed. I was shocked by some of the stuff, and very grateful to the makers for bringing this story to life. As someone in the comments section said, this series helped label excessive, manipulative behaviours that were difficult to understand oneself, and explain to others. This story is a must-watch for all genders, not just women. Manipulation can happen to both genders, though it seemed skewed towards one gender in this series.Spoilers Ahead... Coming to the story itself, FL had a great childhood, with loving parents and a comfortable life. All changed one fine day when her father died in an accident that turned her life upside down. From a safe, loving childhood , it turned the surviving parent into an emotional abuser and a trusted family friend to prey upon her. A one-night stand at her emotionally weak moment made her a single parent. And the scandal of her association with an older man made her the subject of gossip on the lips of her contemporaries, someone unworthy of respect. Though life/fate served her badly, she stubbornly headed forward with positivity, completed her education, secured decent employment, and raised her son exceedingly well.
Coming to ML, he comes from a relatively poorer family , raised in a faraway place. An abusive father, a meek mother who couldn't protect herself or her children. A childhood filled with beatings and more beatings. His only salvation was his sister's protection. His sense of 1st betrayal was from his parents - one abusive and one useless (to protect him from abusive one!) , his 2nd betrayal was in his perception from his sister - who was his shield and protected him from his abusive father - betrayed him by finding herself a boy friend , then find life away from the family .. he sees this a betrayal 2 ways , one loving someone else more than him and abandoning him and going away. Though his sister was probably a young lady herself with a strong protective instinct , who took immense beatings from their father in his stead, was probably trying to find a ray of light in her dark world in her boyfriend, and going away was her way of trying to secure resources, funds to help her much smarter younger brother to have a higher education that she herself couldn't have. If there was someone who is the epitome of selflessness in this series , it would be her.(along with FL )....
ML couldn't handle these betrayals - and turns into something he probably abhored in his childhood- a monster . ... while FL , though she had every reason to hate life, people, society, and hit back at the world for not protecting her younger self,
She becomes an epitome of kindness to the needy,
same dastardly circumstances turns one inhuman and another a divine person....

Pretty good but not for me
Overall this is a strong short drama. It is better than most short dramas both in production value and the care with which the story is crafted.Side note: I came here for Wang Xue Xi but she is not a large part of this drama.
The best parts of this drama are sidequests showing women living in this world. It is handled with nuance and heart. While this drama is pretty feminist, the characters are not just flat caricatures used to make a point; they are more realistic and vibrantly living their lives regardless of the struggles that are also being portrayed. Keeping that element -- people finding joy in the little things -- while also portraying an unjust system, is a level of nuance that even larger productions fail to explore.
However, I ended up skimming the remaining episodes and dropping this mainly because the main romance fails to distinguish itself from being enemies to lovers tropes. In general I don't like that trope, and this very much portrays a jerk ML who is supposedly "not that bad" but actually he is, yall just horny for jerkheads :( I mean, enjoy if that is your thing, but this is not for me.

So complex that it'll make your head spin
This drama has all the makings to be a great story. A-list cast with well-rounded characters and mega-fantasy storyline that already hooks the audience. This went entirely downhill because the setup was simply too perfect. In the effort to be and do everything, it all got lost in translation.A handsome king coming from another world to see his savior police woman? Chemistry thrown down the trash over emphasis on the complexities of parallel world intricacies, hidden murderous uncle, and time travel. There was no patience for the director to guide the audience through what was happening and everything was being thrown at you in the name of shock value.
Overall, a hard watch with the over-complicated, layered plot that kept building to a unsatisfying and boring ending.

The fluffiest and heartwarming rom-com
I think I got cavities from how sweet this love story is. MinMin and BonBon are simply too cute, it's almost sickening. I love that it's the he falls first and harder AND HARDER trope. He is the OG loser-in-love. Their relationship dynamic is hilarious and their chemistry is off the charts.One of the best rom-coms, there are so many hilarious moments that will have you in tears. I would say it's light-hearted but oh my god, that serial killer twist almost gave me a heart attack. It gave me whiplash from how there can literally be hearts on the screen and the next, there's this crazy creep kidnapping women. Don't get me wrong, it added this spice to the story that made it more interesting but DAMN, give a girl a warning.

underrated short from the prospective of the one with the unrequited love.
first review, kinda nervous.i saw that only 2 people watched this so i had to...
only if shorts like these got bigger opportunities.
i really think with a bigger budget and a longer run time this could've been more. but since it's so short, it feels like i'm being left on a cliffhanger.
i wanna know what happens to their relationship after the rejection. will they be able to be friends like before or will they end it there?
will yujin be okay? will she move on?
i really liked the acting, it made me feel for yujin and minseo at the same time.
yujin dealing with her feelings for her friends while also having to deal with internalized homophobia. hating the way she is so much that she hurts herself. it made me want to hug her and tell her it's okay to like someone and that there's nothing wrong with how she is. T_T
minseo cannot return her feelings, so she ponders telling her the truth in fear of ruining their friendship, yujin being hurt or hurting herself again.
this genuinely needs to be watched more! it's so underrated. and thought yeah... it's short and we don't really get a conclusion, i think it's really worth a watch!

Attempt of Emotional Melodrama Falls Flat
I can’t even explain all the ways that this story lost me, it was just that inconstant. It tries so hard to be this captivating melodrama, but misses the mark so badly at times that it nearly comes off as being a parody of a BL instead of a true BL.There was also just so much laziness baked into the story that it becomes hard to take seriously at times. Getting hit by a car once is already tragic and sucky, but having the same character get hit by a car twice is just poor imagination.
The intimacy scenes were decent, but the placement of many were questionable as were some of the more emotional scenes. Was really excited for the premise of this show after watching the trailer, but the execution was lacking to say the least.

Tale of the Nine-Tailed is one of those dramas where the premise pulls you in, but it’s the characters, especially the relationships, that keep you watching. While it presents itself as a fantasy romance, the real emotional core lies in the bond between Lee Yeon and Lee Rang. Their relationship is layered with resentment, guilt, love, and longing, and it evolves in such a raw and heartfelt way that it easily becomes the highlight of the entire story. Every interaction between them carries weight, and their journey from broken brothers to something much deeper is what truly gives the drama its soul.The romance between Lee Yeon and Nam Ji Ah feels more subdued. It has its sweet and loyal moments, and there is a sense of unwavering devotion, but it never quite reaches the same emotional intensity as the brotherly bond. Still, it works in its own quiet way, adding warmth to the story without overpowering it. The side characters, especially Ki Yu Ri and Koo Shin Joo, bring charm and balance, making the world feel more complete and lived-in.
Visually, the drama is stunning. From neon-lit cityscapes to mystical forests and eerie supernatural settings, it creates a strong atmosphere that fits the tone of the story. Even when the CGI isn’t perfect, the overall aesthetic and direction make up for it. There is a certain cinematic quality to the way scenes are framed, which adds to the immersive experience.
The OST is another highlight. It is catchy and used really beautifully throughout the drama. The music blends well with emotional scenes and adds an extra layer to the storytelling without feeling forced.
That said, the plot itself can feel messy at times. The overarching storyline, particularly involving the villain Imoogi, does not always land as strongly as it should. For such a powerful and ancient evil, the execution feels underwhelming, even though his connection to the main leads is interesting. The drama also tends to repeat certain narrative patterns, and some parts in the middle feel stretched or less impactful.
Despite its flaws, the emotional weight of the story carries it through. Themes of love, sacrifice, and longing are handled in a way that still resonates, especially through Lee Rang’s character. His pain, vulnerability, and need to be loved add a depth that elevates the entire drama. The ending, while bittersweet, feels fitting for the kind of story it tells, even if it leaves a lingering ache.
Overall, Tale of the Nine-Tailed is not perfect, but it is memorable where it matters most. If you enjoy character-driven storytelling and emotional depth over a tightly structured plot, this is definitely worth watching.

Kids Show
This drama made noise when it first aired—the costumes looked good, and the trailer’s nods to the “seven births” set up strong expectations. But for me, pop idol male leads never quite fit into costume dramas. No matter how carefully the styling is done, it feels more like a dress-up show or a skit than a true xianxia.It’s clear the series is aimed at a younger audience, parallels to children’s cartoons. The opening arc in the heavenly realm was engaging, but once the trials began, the storytelling lost momentum. Seven births, seven stories, and one main heavenly story threading through them, could have been compelling, but instead the execution leaned too heavily on repetitive bickering.
Across the first three births—aside from the animal one—the plots felt interchangeable. Different identities, yes, but the same filler conflicts. By the time it reached the princess-and-general arc, I was already tired.
in the Moluo clan arc, the drama has regained some energy. It’s engaging again, though I find myself watching at 2x speed just to get through it.
its the only arc which actually had plot. that ties to heavenly arc. so all the between things are fillers.
The writing feels overly simple, aimed at a younger audience. The female leads dominate with commanding presence, while the male lead excels as a cold, war‑god figure.

I LOWKEY ENJOYED THIS ONE
surprisingly i really like the storyline, the plot twist was really unexpected imo. i thought it would be predictable at first because of the whole enemies-to-lovers + amnesia trope, but the way they revealed the truth and connected everything in the later episodes actually caught me off guard.i also like how the drama tried to explore more than just romance. the whole memory loss situation and their past as rivals made everything more complicated, and you can really see how their relationship is built on both pain and love at the same time
tho i feel like they could’ve done much better with the acting :)) there were moments where the emotions didn’t fully hit, especially in scenes that were supposed to be really intense. BUT i will say, there are still scenes where they did well, especially during confrontations or emotional breakdowns.
overall, it’s still a good watch for me. the plot and concept really carried the show, and even if the execution wasn’t perfect, it’s one of those dramas that keeps you thinking about it after finishing.

Unnecessary Lies but Good Start-Up Dynamics
Start-Up is a story that, while having its poignant and moving moments regarding the family's past and an engaging present that draws you into the world of entrepreneurship and the characters' success, also has its weaknesses and inconsistencies when it comes to the love triangle and the letters.The Family Conflict
The backstory was moving and tragic. Characters like the father are heartbreaking; you can tell that striving to be a good man costs him everything, yet the world gives him no breaks. I can't judge the mother and sister's decision too harshly since some people get their hands tied in a crisis while others simply take the easy way out.
However, it was incredibly frustrating when the mother returned years later with her tail between her legs the moment she faced a hardship. Even though the drama tries to make us feel compassionate, I found her to be completely shameless. On the other hand, seeing the protagonist’s present was hopeful; her resolve as an adult made me genuinely want her to succeed, and I truly valued that she and her sister eventually made peace.
The World of Start-Ups
Although I'm not a fan of business-related themes, I admit I enjoyed the dynamic at Sandbox. The projects, the presentations, and the rivalry with her sister kept my interest. It was interesting to see the process of building a company from the ground up.
The Letters and The Love Triangle
This is where the story lost its strength for me:
The Letters: I was curious about how this would unfold, but the lie ended up feeling completely unnecessary. She was a rational adult who should have been told the truth from the beginning; it's not like her world would have crumbled. The effort put into protecting that lie was questionable, and both men acted in ways they shouldn't have.
The Romance: Given the situation with the letters, I didn't have high hopes for the romance since its foundation was built on lies, so I wasn't excited about anything related to those involved. Furthermore, I didn't feel any "who will she choose?" suspense because, honestly, the female lead never showed genuine interest in the second lead. It felt like he never stood a chance from the start.
P.S. As a side note, the cherry blossom scene is absolutely stunning.
