The plot of the film takes place in 2013, two years before this novel. Jim lives with Mike, who is from Malaysia, and subsequently everyone probably already knows what will happen.
Where the Taiwanese keep getting new and new actors .... very well acted, believable, natural, as if the two really lived together, only these two characters appear in the film ... and the ending (!)

Kai, on the other hand should stick to being an idol or do more acting workshops, because I'm sorry I just can't stand his acting. I mean he really needs more push for him to actually act.
I can't remember the music in this drama. I would not rewatch this one even if it is short.

Hned začátek byl svěží a hezký, několik minut do zahajovacích titulků, z toho by byl dobrý kraťas ("Zapomněl jsi něco? Ano. Tebe!").

twinkling watermelon ー twinkled within us ?
honestly from a pov who just recently finished it ー away from the craze when it aired (tho i wanted to watch it live so bad but cannot for personal reasons) i appreciate the stillness and the quiet while watching it and processing it on my own.the story is full of realistic issues ー from domestic ones to the story of youth and the hierarchy or status. it connects each on of us who has the same struggle as the main characters ー sometimes we want to just close our eyes wishing that if we open it, we are all just in a twisted dream but unfortunately everything happening around us is real which we can relate to what eungyeol's present looks like. he did not avoid his dad's accident whatever methods he tried but because he gave up giving up, and because of his persistence and perseverance he did change a lot of things.
the takeaway we can get here is that change is never out of reach if we keep on trying and striving to do what's good, what's just, what's pure, what's kind, and what's right.

So much room for improvement.
I started watching with such high expectations because of the casts but then… the production team could’ve done better. ????It has been awhile since I felt highly annoyed by a female lead in a drama. One time she was flirty and then the other time she seemed to have lost herself. For a character who was in her 20s, she was a little bit too childish when it comes to her relationship. After just a few episodes, I genuinely wished for the male lead to end up with someone else. ??

I could totally relate to other viewers and reviewers of this drama. It has that nostalgic feeling into it. The story about past life is presented beautifully and the characters are really well written. The cinematography is one of a kind, one of the best so far. Other dramas would really have to step up since this become a standard. It really is at the high level, and it can't be compared. It is a whole new genre of historical. It will always stay in the hearts of those who have watched this. Beautiful. Worth it.

Most Disappointing Watch of 2023
There is no myths here; that went extent along with the dinosaurs. Instead, it is a jumbled incoherent mess of disorganized shifts of scenes packed with individuals for the most part that are astonishingly unlikable, dumb as a box of rocks, naïve, and caricatures. Some are decidedly despicable creatures as well. The whole universe of this story centers around one of the densest characters I have ever seen. Not only is he naïve and remains so throughout, but he is also the biggest milqutoast and nebbish individual ever in any BL. It was exacerbating to watch him not be able to fend for himself in any meaningful way, with conviction and simply ‘forgive’ people for astonishing bad transgressions against him without making it very clear how he really felt or where he stood. He gives a new definition to the term wimp. I am talking about, of course, the apple of so many guys’ eye for whom I simply could not figure out why. Rak (Kong Montree) who consistently walks around looking lost and functioning in a dream world of his own making. To say he is naïve is to be kind to him. It goes deeper than that. It is as if he wears a sign on himself that says, “Yes, I am really this clueless and as dumb as I look. So go ahead and use me. I really won’t figure it out but oh when I do, I will simply forgive you and move on. Thanks.” For example, his boyfriend had been cheating on him for a while with his own best friend. His passive acceptance of this along with his wounded look made it appear as if it was his cross to bear, and he wore it almost like a badge of honor. When he finally breaks up with him, he allows and tacitly accepts his former boyfriend to visit and harass him without making it abundantly clear that it is finally over, period. At one point, his former boyfriend attempts to rape Rak, and still, Rak forgives him.

Super funny and lighthearted show with plot twists and a bit of mystery. The cast was amazing, and the acting was really good. An excellent historical drama to watch if u like comedy and mystery. Aleen and Steven did an amazing job with their acting and there on-screen chemistry was perfect. There's not a lot of kissing scenes but you can still feel the romance and bond between the two leads. I also like the second lead couple. They were amazing even though there relationship developed pretty slow. I dislike the 2nd male lead, he was really immature and annoying. Jingxia already told him she only sees him like a brother but he still causes problems between the main couple. A couple things to look out for are the special effects. They were not good and you could easily tell there fake, especially the underwater scenes. The budget for this drama wasn't too high, therefore the special effects were really trash. it was so funny to watch the actors "swim". This drama would have been a lot better if they had a better budget. There are also a lot of episodes and each episode is pretty long. Some episodes were unnecessary and made the series a little hard to continue. Overall really good drama to watch and highly recommend. Was this review helpful to you?
Dr Storks protect and assist the miracles
Dr Storks followed the trials, joys, and frustrations of the medical personnel in the labor and delivery portion of a hospital as well as those in the NICU. Dr. Konotori worked to help mothers share the gift of life during the miracle of birth. Pregnancy is not an illness but as the drama showed, it is not without risks. The doctors and midwives fought alongside the parents and newborn infants as they dug deep to find their courage to succeed and survive. The main OB/Gyns were Drs. Konotori and Shinomiya, both devoted to their patients but as different as night and day. Friendly and talkative Konotori was willing to risk a mother’s life to save her uterus while harsh speaking and quiet Dr. Shinomiya was ready to perform a hysterectomy at the drop of a hat. Made for an interesting balance. For anyone wanting to watch the drama for Hoshino Gen, he was only in each episode for a few minutes. This was Ayano Go’s starring role and he made the most of it. I thoroughly enjoyed his piano performances in disguise as the pianist "Baby". Some doctors had character growth and others broke down. In my country the majority of OB/Gyns are women so it was odd seeing the majority of doctors as male. The female doctors weren’t very well represented. One female doctor was easily excitable and distracted while the other was a walking burnout. Both came across as fragile. The doctor I would want in my corner was the older NICU doc. He saw the big picture and was steady emotionally.
Each episode had different medical crises and subjects---teen pregnancy, adoption, abortion, Rubella, birth defects, maternal and infant deaths, IVF, smoking, preservation of the uterus, midwives, pregnancy and sexual discrimination, as well as discrimination against single parents and working women with children, postpartum depression, and more—whew! A few of the topics came across as strange to me. Adoption seemed to be a new concept and there were misconceptions about the availability of pregnancy care in Hawaii. Members of the staff also had very callous attitudes toward certain patients which seemed the opposite of how they should have approached patient care. The gut-wrenching stories involved parents and spouses faced with traumatic decisions that no one would ever want to make. Some parents handled bad news better than others. As in real life, there were parents who would do whatever was needed for their baby and others who wouldn’t visit a child fighting for its life. A few of the topics were handled with the subtlety of an afternoon school special while others were quite well done. I hate to admit that I became teary during two or three of the stories. It wasn't all tears, there were lovely heartwarming stories as well.
The cinematography and lighting were rudimentary and could be distracting. At times the music blared over the dialogue which was also distracting. What Dr. Storks had going for it were the compelling stories of life, death, and the medical personnel who fought for happy healthy outcomes for everyone even when it wasn’t possible. The doctors realized they were often powerless and that “things don’t always go as planned,” but that didn’t stop them from giving their all to the women and tiny lives entrusted to them.
