Ruined potential

Fix the error was such a fun watch and the grim reaper concept instantly caught my attention. The chemistry between the leads was really sweet, and I loved how the story mixed fantasy with romance. Even with such a short runtime, the drama managed to make me care about the characters and kept me looking forward to every episode.

My biggest complaint is that it was simply way too short. A story with a concept this complex could never be fully explored in just six episodes that are only around ten minutes each. There was so much more they could have done with the world, the characters, and the plot, but everything had to move so quickly. I absolutely loved it and enjoyed every episode, I just wish it had been given the time it deserved because it had the potential to be something even more special.

CHOKUNASTON ON TOP

I watched this a long time ago and I think it’s time for me to review this absolute banger of the new gen.

First, LukeMick. What a surprise. At first I thought that they were kinda bad and I didn’t know where we wanted to go but after the kiss on ep2 omg. i love them soooo much. The acting was just amazing, Luke is so hot and Mick gosh… Thanks to gmmtv for putting them on this

Secondary, I would love to talk about ChokunAston because, god know how much I love them. They were my fav and always will. The new gen is nothing without them. Aston is just a cutie and I 😘😍😊🥰💕💙💜(FRUCKING LOVE OMG) how Chokun love this. They just met and Chokun was already head over heels for Aston (I mean, who isn’t).

And on top, my KenPaul. They’re just sooooo cute omg. The kiss AWWWWWW. Their friendship was amazing and how their relationship just naturally became lovers… just perfect. It was just how it should have been. Without question, I just saw a relationship started before my eyes and that was the thing the most cute I’ve ever seen (I think you can tell that they are my babies)

So my final review is : the actors were on top but unfortunately the script was bad asf and I hope that gmmtv will give them what they deserve (I already saw every pilot and gosh ChokunAston thank god for this).

Some summers never really end

What I loved most about this drama is that it never feels like just another second-chance romance. It begins with two young people carrying completely different burdens, and watching them slowly become each other’s safe place during one unforgettable summer was incredibly rewarding. Their relationship grows naturally through shared struggles and quiet support, making it easy to understand why their separation hurts so much. I also appreciated that the story doesn’t rush to bring them back together. Instead, it lets time, misunderstandings, and unresolved pain shape who they become before fate reunites them ten years later. Seeing them navigate old wounds while uncovering the truth behind the past added another layer to the romance, making it feel more mature than a typical reunion story. The chemistry between the leads was wonderful and carried both the lighter and more emotional scenes effortlessly. If I had one complaint, it’s that I wanted even more time with them after they finally found their way back to each other.

Gente no lo puedo creer si me decepciono esta serie o bueno si me dejo demasiadas cosas a deber, siento que es de las pocas series que veo y que siento que tiene más contras que pros para verla y es que siento que si me desperdiciaron la trama bastante porque la premisa es buena y conforme vas avanzando la vas disfrutando pero ya una vez que la terminas, surgen más dudas que respuestas y es que también pudieron aprovechar de muchas maneras escenas que para mí fueron de relleno para contarnos más sobre los universos, sobre el trasfondo de los personajes etc. No se simplemente arreglar el cagadero que hicieron.

Cirrus / "Cir" y Phukan / "Phu"
Miren creo que no voy a hablar mucho por primera vez de ellos tanto en solitario como en pareja porque para empezar siento que Cir toda la serie fue un personaje interesante pero con el ultimo capitulo se cae todo a la borda y es que cuando esta serie salió yo pues no la vi más que pequeños fragmentos en TikTok pero de ahí es más nada y solamente recordaba que al final la gente si termino odiando (odiar siento que es poco) a este personaje y pues la verdad es que lo entiendo, yo siento que como ya dije empezó bien, empezó interesante pero que al final la explicación de este universo sea que Cir básicamente acoso a Phu desde secundaria/bachillerato (no estoy seguro de cuál es que la traducción me confunde) y que nos digan que lo espiaba, que se inscribió a la universidad de Phu nomas porque lo escucho decir a cuál iba a ir y demás cosas que mínimo acepta que en algunas ocasiones se pasó pero pues no es suficiente yo pensé que por un momento nos iban a decir que tenía un trastorno de personalidad o que no sabía cómo hablarle o expresarse por la familia en la que creció idkk simplemente algo.

Mientras tanto Phu pues me cayó bien siento que al estar solo ya por mucho tiempo y que de repente alguien cambie su vida a cuidar, mimar y estar al pendiente cada minuto de él pues si como quiera lleno ese amor que a él le faltaba (tanto que acepto ser suplente del Phukan del otro universo que ni estaba seguro si existía, pero solo decidió creerle a Cir) entonces chance por esto y porque la verdad se ve que es noble pues para él fue fácil perdonar a Cir.
Miren ya ellos como pareja pues si se aman o sea yo no voy a venir a decir que no cuando literal Cir lleva al pendiente de él como 4 o 5 años y Phu pues desde los primeros momentos lo empezó a querer y al último se transformó en amor y pues tienen escenas muy bonitas como cuando Phu lleva a Cir a divertirse, cuando Phu lleva a Cir a comer con sus amigos o sea escenas bonitas de ellos pues si tenemos.

Como pareja secundaria (y ni a secundaria llega porque nomas nos dieron migajas)
Jin y Wim
-Jin la verdad es que en un primer momento yo pensé que él iba a ser malo en la serie, pero no, simplemente tiene la capacidad de leer mentes (por esto es la única razón en la que sí creo que existen los mundos paralelos) y medio se aprovecha de ello, pero sabe que es consciente de que está mal y hay veces en las que, si lo disfruta y hay veces en las que no, pero siento que fue buen personaje me gusto bastante a veces si era medio manipulador, pero pues que se le va a hacer.
Wim
-Saben el la verdad se merece lo mejor del mundo, que bonita persona es el y si entiendo que él fue tapadera de Cir pero pues a él no le correspondía el decir la verdad he incluso se lo llega a decir varias veces a Cir de que le diga la verdad y así, miren que me gusta su amistad con Cir pero como que a la vez no porque siento que Wim si se preocupa mucho por él y podemos deducir que es gracias a que han estado juntos casi toda la vida he incluso pues Wim vio como le pegaban a Cir y lo obligaron a ver y el no pudo hacer nada, entonces siento que Wim da mucho por Cir y Cir no da mucho por Wim e incluso pues literal en una escena Cir le dice que si, que lo vendió a Jin entonces eso no me gusto tampoco me gusto que cuando está el 3er Cir se exprese de Wim como que cada que habla hace que le duelan los oídos pero pues cosas de ese universo supongo.
Ahora les tengo que decir que a mi si me gusto esta pareja y literal viví de migajas porque no les dieron casi nada de tiempo en pantalla juntos y pues tampoco es como que se podía desarrollar algo bien con tan poco tiempo entonces sin duda me hubiera gustado ver más de ellos porque ya en el capítulo final que apenas Wim acepta que si le gusta Jin pues es cuando íbamos a verlos de pareja, pero pues no paso.

Ahora antes de pasar a personajes secundarios quiero hablar de lo que en teoría debió de ser la trama principal de la serie y son los universos paralelos y es que esto empezó tan bien, pero la neta yo siento que empezaron a abordarlo muy tarde (capitulo 7 o 8) y no les dio el tiempo suficiente porque en los de más capítulos pues nomas se nos daban cositas muy pequeñas de los universos, entonces para empezar yo diría que tenemos 4 universos (tenemos más, pero de estos ya no se nos dice nada):
-El 1er universo para mi es el del Cir y Phu que se hicieron pareja desde secundaria/bachillerato, básicamente el universo donde Cir si le contesta por el vaso atado que cae por la ventana que no estoy seguro pero este Cir es el que aparece como con ropa formal en la dimensión del tiempo de cirrus (así le llaman a este cuarto blanco), a parte es con las escenas de este universo que suena el Cir que para mí es el del 2do universo.
-El 2do universo para mi es el de la serie, es el universo que nosotros estamos viendo y pues en este universo Cir no le contesto a Phu cuando paso lo de los vasos atados, pero básicamente aquí Cir escucho a Phu defendiéndolo y se enamoró de él l (tanto que hasta se obsesiono mi niño) pero pues en si es el que vemos.
-El 3er universo pues es el del tercer Cir que vemos en el capítulo 8 (el que se amarra el cabello) donde ya cuando regresa a su mundo sabemos de dos cosas primero que su relación con Wim no sé qué tan buena sea, pero se llevan bien y que en este universo todavia no conoce a Phu y parece que Phu es el que ahora está obsesionado con Cir.
-El 4to universo es este en el que ellos se conoces ya de grandes ambos trabajando en la misma empresa (les tomo 10 años encontrarse) siendo jefe-empleado y aquí a lo que entendí Cir muere en este universo acuchillado.
y por último también nos muestran de que una nada de otros dos universos de ellos.
Entonces esto es lo que yo pude recopilar y que para mí así son, pero aquí mismo es cuando más surgen dudas y pues son dudas sin resolver:
Para empezar a lo que entendí le tiene que pasar algo grave a Cir para que empiece a ver los distintos universos ya que sabemos que en el 2 y 4 así fue en el 2 lo atropellan y en el 4 lo acuchillan y ahí es cuando en teoría los ven, pero no sabemos que paso en el 1ro y en el 3ro creo que sería cuando le da este dolor de cabeza, pero fue tanto que el termino en otro universo (en el 2).
Además, parece que siempre van a pensar que es un sueño justo porque les pasa algo grave y pues lo disfrazan como sueños, pero en realidad si están viendo otras líneas del tiempo.
A parte se nos dice que en cualquier universo Phu siempre va a estar bien ya que Phu es la luz de sus vidas y así, pero en un momento el Cir del 1er universo (el que se viste formal que aparece en la dimensión del tiempo) dice "espero que este mundo tenga un final feliz" dándonos a entender que entonces son pocos los universos donde son felices o terminan juntos.
En un momento el Cir del 2do universo despierta en el 1er universo porque tenemos esta escena de Cir dudando si tocar a Phu e incluso despertando medio extrañado porque en su universo Phu estaba enfermo he incluso Phu le dice no eres mi Cir. (Cap. 5 o 6).
También una duda que tengo es con lo de los calzoncillos de Phu porque parece que al principio iba a tener peso pero literal se dejó de lado y nomas lo retomaron en una escena del último capítulo donde Cir le menciona que se cayeron en su balcón yo quiero suponer que los calzoncillos que Phu perdió en el primer capítulo y Cir se metió a su departamento y los puso pero a aparte de esto mi duda también es como Phu descubrió esto de qué color de Calzoncillo usar (porque literal vemos una tabla que él tiene) que paso ese día como para que el dijera por ejemplo en el primer capítulo que los jueves tiene que usar naranja y así neta no me explico porque para eso debió de usar otro color y le paso algo malo? pero pues se nos dice que Cir siempre estuvo al pendiente de él entonces no se.
Tengo muchas más dudas pero ya no quiero extenderme más porque ya literal parece biblia esto pero literal esta serie echo todo esto a la borda porque ni explicaron nada y nomas nos daban de que una nada de información sobre los universos y al final ni lo supieron adaptar a la historia principal, yo siento que había muchas formas de explicar los de los universos y así pero no literal la serie termino por decir que no existieron y que Cir todo este tiempo acoso a Phu además de creo que en un momento Cir dice que todo es una imaginación y fue tanta que hasta lo empezó a sonar entonces siento que una de las razones aparte de que no les dieron los capítulos es que les dieron demasiado tiempo en pantalla a la pareja principal y no es que este mal pero pudieron haberles dado tiempo y a la vez explicarnos y hasta un punto créanme que yo también pienso que no existieron los universos una de las pocas razones por las que sí creo porque Jinn puede leer la mente.

Personajes secundarios
-Ratri (mama de Cir) ella empezó teniendo buena trama y a que me refiero es que yo pensé que pues ella iba a tener más presencia en la serie y termino siendo toda una nula y es que la pintaban como la peor mama del mundo y que a sus hijos los miraba como objetos he incluso pues tenemos esta historia de cuando llevo a una maestra a suicidar** y luego cuando nos dicen las 5 reglas que le puso a Cir porque terminando la universidad él va a ser de su propiedad y que no sé qué, literal personaje he historia más desperdiciada.
-El papa de Cir de el no tengo nada que decir más que qpd con este señor literal no sabemos nada de él y llega en el último capítulo a decir que va a cambiar a su hijo en lugar de que vaya a luchar por él y dejen a la mama sin nada.
-Lukpear (la prometida de Cir) igual que la mama termino siendo una nula, ni para que metieron esta historia de la prometida porque pues ni a problema llega.
-Ozone (hermano de Cir) el fíjense que me cayó, pues bien, pudo haber salido más la verdad no me gusto su final de cómo llega el a cambiar el lugar de Cir por él y ahora él es quien se tiene que casar con Lukpear y ahora Cir puede ser feliz con Phu, también hubo muchas maneras de manejar esto y se fueron por la peor.
-Tri, Nalin, Achi y Rome aquí ya quise englobar a estos 4 y la verdad solamente voy a rescatar a Tri y Nalin porque literal ellas saben lo que es la amistad, siempre vieron por Phu, se preocuparon por el he incluso lo defendieron sin duda grandes amigas en cambio Achi y Rome yo siento que estos ni debieron de existir literal no entiendo que hacen, nunca ayudan Achi a veces aporta comedia pero se me cayó cuando ayudo a Lukpear y Rome está demasiado raro su personaje, solamente entendí que es fan de los peces y que no se puede confiar en lo que él diga.

Pero bueno les tengo que decir que la termine comparando con Head 2 Head y Lovely Runner porque tocan casi los mismos temas he incluso me vi esta después de haber terminado Head 2 Head y pues imposible no compararlas la verdad por más que yo quisiera y miren que pensé que si me iba a gustar y digo chance sí, pero me decepciono y mentiría si les dijera que está en mis planes volverla a ver porque la verdad si lo dudo, chance la bajo a 7 o incluso 6.5 pero lo tendría que pensar más a fondo.

Beyond Expectation

I went into "Offline Love" expecting a wholesome dating show. I came out with one of the most unforgettable reality TV experiences I've ever had.

In an era where relationships often begin with swipes, texts, and algorithms, "Offline Love" strips everything back to the basics. No endless messaging. No carefully curated online personas. Just people meeting face to face, taking chances, and allowing genuine emotions to unfold naturally. That simplicity is exactly what makes the show feel so special.

Every interaction feels sincere. Every conversation carries weight. Watching complete strangers slowly become each other's comfort, wondering whether their feelings are mutual, and taking small yet meaningful steps toward love is surprisingly emotional. It never feels manufactured; it feels real.

And yes... my favorite couple made it. I don't think I've celebrated a reality show ending this much in a long time. Seeing their journey come full circle was incredibly satisfying and genuinely heartwarming.

If you're hesitant to start this show, don't overthink it. Just press play. Trust me when I say this is absolute PEAK dating reality television. It doesn't rely on unnecessary drama or forced conflicts; it succeeds because it believes in authentic human connection.

This isn't just a dating show. It's a reminder that meaningful relationships are built through patience, vulnerability, awkward conversations, shared laughter, and the courage to take one step closer to someone despite the uncertainty.

You'll start watching for the romance.

A STRONG START THAT LOST ITS SPARK

When I first began the drama, I genuinely loved it. I really liked the cooperation between Captain Luo and Wenjie; they had such a fun dynamic. However, after around Episode 15, the drama started to lose me. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great watch, but in my opinion, it's quite overhyped.

Wenjie
Wenjie started off as such a smart character with a high IQ and EQ, but later he just felt nerfed. He constantly trusted the wrong people while pushing away those who genuinely wanted to help him. I understand that he wanted to uncover the truth about his father, but the way he so easily trusted wrong people whilst also being a character that should be really high in IQ, just seemed so unbelievable. Mind you, it was also advertised as a "college student who helps detectives solve cases," when in reality he spends most of the story hiding information, investigating on his own, and only cooperating later, which wasn't what I expected and felt extremely disappointed.

Captain Luo
Captain Luo was one of my favourite characters. I respected how he always chose to help others and trusted Wenjie from the beginning, although at times that trust felt a little unrealistic since they didnt have any past connection.

Furthermore, I was disappointed that the drama didn't make better use of Captain Luo and Wenjie's partnership. The beginning and ending proved how enjoyable they were when working together. They're both incredibly intelligent, and watching them solve cases as a team would've been far more interesting than what was shown for majority of the drama around Wenjie refusing to cooperate. I believe this was a missed opportunity and I'm so upset about it.

Su Ying
Su Ying had so much potential, but I found her character disappointing. It felt like the writers couldn't decide what role she was supposed to play. Her relationship with Captain Luo wasn't convincing, many of her decisions were frustrating, and even her interrogation scenes felt unrealistic. Unfortunately, she ended up being one of the weakest characters for me.

Zhi Yue
Zhi Yue was easily one of the best characters in the drama. She always believed in Wenjie, stood by him, and continued helping others even after everything she went through. She was someone so admiring and I wish she got more scenes because she deserved so much more screen time.

I honestly don't think Wenjie deserved her because she was too good for him. He didnt seem to appreciate her much at all, I know romance wasn't the focus, but I wish we'd seen him show his love to her more instead of constantly hiding everything from her.

Overall
Honestly, the concept was so good, but the way executed the story felt way worse. I believe with better development for Wenjie and more focus on his partnership with Captain Luo, I think this drama could've been incredible. Despite the criticisms, I geniunely enjoyed the cast, especially Captain Luo's team, and I'd still recommend the drama. It just didn't quite live up to the potential it had and because the concept was so good, I felt even more disappointed. Nevertheless, I'm definitely excited about season 2, I hope they show Wenjie as a police whilst Captain Luo is his teacher.

I Went For the Plot - Stayed for the Wheelchair - and Cried a River

Oh, The First Jasmine. Where do I even start? I went in expecting a standard historical romance—maybe some court intrigue, a little sword-fighting, a few longing glances. Instead, I got emotional whiplash, a permanent frown line between my eyebrows, and a sudden, unexplainable attraction to men in wheelchairs. And honestly? I’d do it all over again. Twice. With tissues.

Let’s address the elephant in the room (or rather, the smoldering volcano in the wheelchair). Cheng Lei as Mo Xiu Yao was absolutely unfair. Unfair to my blood pressure, unfair to my screenshots folder, and unfair to every other male lead in Cdrama history. The man barely moves from his seat for the first half, yet somehow radiates more heat than a thousand summer suns. His eyes alone could start a fire—dark, brooding, and carrying the weight of a thousand betrayals. Every time he whispered a line, I leaned closer to my screen like a fool. Every time he restrained his emotions, I felt my own pulse skyrocket. Cheng Lei plays Mo Xiu Yao as a man who has been emotionally shattered, physically broken, and politically discarded—yet still burns with a quiet, volcanic intensity that makes you forget he’s even sitting down. It’s a masterclass in micro-expressions: the twitch of a jaw, the flicker of pain, the slight softening when he looks at Ye Li. He doesn’t need to walk to dominate every single frame; his stillness is his power. By episode ten, I was convinced that brooding should be an Olympic sport, and Cheng Lei would take gold, silver, and bronze.

And then there’s Bai Lu as Ye Li—and if Cheng Lei is the fire, she is the calm, calculating ice that somehow makes the fire burn hotter. We all know Bai Lu can play fierce, scheming, or comedic, but this role? This is something else entirely. She plays Ye Li as a woman wrapped in silk but armed with steel—a master strategist hiding behind a facade of fragile grace. Her performance is so layered that you can literally watch her switch between "delicate flower" and "chess-master general" with nothing but a shift in her gaze. The trauma she carries—from her family’s ruin, from her forced marriage, from every whispered betrayal—is etched into every trembling breath and every forced smile. And yet, she never becomes a victim. She’s calculating, patient, and devastatingly clever, all while making you feel every ounce of her pain. The scene where she confronts her past? Gut-wrenching. The scene where she quietly breaks down alone? I felt that in my bones. Bai Lu doesn't just act Ye Li—she inhabits her.

Now, the chemistry between these two? It’s not the loud, dramatic kind. It’s slow-burn, simmering, the kind that creeps up on you until you realize you’re holding your breath every time they share a scene. They don't need grand declarations or sweeping kisses—instead, they communicate through stolen glances, hesitant touches, and words left unsaid. He watches her like she’s the only light in his darkened world, and she leans on him like he’s the only ground left unshaken. It’s the kind of romance that feels earned, built on trust, survival, and mutual respect—which makes every quiet moment between them hit ten times harder.

But let me warn you: do not watch this drama without a box of tissues nearby. Because right around the halfway point—BAM—the show takes your heart, stomps on it, and hands it back to you in pieces. The divorce arc? The reveal of Ye Li’s illness? I was not prepared. I thought I was strong. I thought I could handle it. I was wrong. I sobbed so hard my cat left the room in disgust. The emotional devastation is so beautifully written and so achingly performed that you can’t help but grieve alongside them. It’s the kind of sadness that doesn’t feel manipulative—it feels earned, because you’ve fallen so deeply in love with these characters that their pain becomes yours.

And now, the crown jewel—the absolute best plot point of the entire series: the Li Mountain arc. Oh my goodness. If the first half is a slow-burn emotional thriller, Li Mountain is where it all explodes into a masterpiece. This is where the mystery behind the Lishan Academy plague finally unravels, and the truth hits like a freight train. The tension is unbearable, the revelations are shocking, and the emotional fallout is devastatingly raw. But more than that, it’s where Mo Xiu Yao and Ye Li truly become partners—not just in love, but in purpose. The mountain becomes a crucible, testing everything they believed about themselves and each other. The cinematography is breathtaking, the pacing is flawless, and the performances? Cheng Lei and Bai Lu absolutely transcend. This arc transforms the drama from a simple revenge tale into a profound, heartbreaking, and ultimately healing exploration of trauma, justice, and forgiveness. It’s the emotional climax that makes every slow, quiet episode before it utterly worth it.

In short, The First Jasmine is not just a drama—it’s an experience. It will make you laugh, cry, swoon, and scream at your screen. It will make you fall hopelessly in love with two broken people who somehow find wholeness in each other. And it will leave you staring at the ceiling at 2 AM, wondering why real-life men can’t be half as intense as Cheng Lei in a wheelchair. Watch it. Weep. Rewatch it. Thank me later.

Alright Drama/Drame correct

English:
This drama was good overall. I liked the actors who played Da On and Shin Woo, and I LOVED the actor who played Namgung. He was hilarious and gave just the right amount of comic relief. I don’t know how to feel about the actor who played Woo Tae Kyung. Yes, he's a good actor, but something about him is just… eh. Overall, I think this was an okay drama. Alright for a one-time watch, but I don't think I'll ever want to watch it again.
I did like the "love triangle" aspect, but I wish there were more scenes with Taekyung realising that he liked Shin Woo too… like it wasn't until the last episode where it was made clear that Taekyung and Shin Woo were the end couple… like it was made very clear that Tae Kyung still had feelings for Da On up until the last episode until Tae Kyung decided to give Shin Woo a chance. I didn't really like that. Also, the way that the actors were CAKED in white makeup when their neck colour was noticeably darker was really weird, and I didn't like that… why can't we just embrace people's skin colours? Overall, this was a decent drama, not too bad. Out of 10, I'd give it a 7 or a 7.5.

Ce drama était globalement bon. J'ai aimé les acteurs qui jouaient Da On et Shin Woo, et j'AI ADORÉ l'acteur qui jouait Namgung. Il était hilarant et apportait juste la bonne dose de comic relief. Je ne sais pas trop quoi penser de l'acteur qui jouait Woo Tae Kyung. Oui, c'est un bon acteur, mais quelque chose chez lui est juste… bof. Dans l'ensemble, je pense que c'était un drama correct. Pas mal pour un visionnage unique, mais je ne pense pas que je veuille le revoir. J'ai aimé l'aspect du « triangle amoureux », mais j'aurais aimé qu'il y ait plus de scènes où Taekyung réalise qu'il aime aussi Shin Woo… comme ce n'était que dans le dernier épisode que ça a été clairement montré que Taekyung et Shin Woo formaient le couple final… on voyait très clairement que Taekyung avait encore des sentiments pour Da On jusqu'au dernier épisode, avant qu'il décide de donner une chance à Shin Woo. Je n'ai pas trop aimé ça. En plus, la façon dont les acteurs étaient ENTOURÉS de maquillage blanc alors que la couleur de leur cou était visiblement plus foncée était vraiment bizarre, et je n'ai pas aimé ça… Pourquoi ne pouvons-nous pas simplement accepter la couleur de peau des gens ? Dans l'ensemble, c'était un drame correct, pas trop mal. Sur 10, je lui donnerais un 7 ou un 7,5.

Is My Secret Vampire worth the watch?

My Secret Vampire is honestly such a cute KBL with a really interesting supernatural concept. The vampire theme makes it feel different from other BLs, and I really liked the chemistry between the characters. The relationship develops in a sweet way, and the characters are pretty easy to get attached to.

The story is simple but still enjoyable, with a good mix of romance, fantasy, and emotional moments. Some parts were a little slow, but overall it was a fun and easy watch. If you like cute supernatural BLs with a unique concept, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a try.

More warmth than fireworks

Sometimes all I need is a light romance that doesn’t try too hard, and this drama fit that mood perfectly. The story isn’t particularly groundbreaking, but it has enough charm to keep the episodes flowing effortlessly. The leads share a comfortable chemistry that makes it easy to root for them, and I liked how their relationship developed gradually instead of relying on constant misunderstandings. There were moments where the pacing slowed down and some conflicts wrapped up a little too conveniently, so it never reached the emotional highs I was hoping for. Still, the characters were likable, the atmosphere was cozy, and it became the kind of drama I looked forward to at the end of the day. The only thing that left me a little disappointed is that, after waiting years for this, the final result didn’t hit me the way I had imagined. I still had a great time watching it, but I can’t help thinking it would have felt even more special if it had been released when it was originally intended.

heart warming and fun friendships

love love love the friendship!!! love the actors. the stories definitely had me hooked.

only thing I didn’t love is the lead Female character. writer made her into a crying annoying moron. the character was only cool as a teacher and umpire. I love the actress so it’s a shame the character wasn’t more mature or lovable for me…but I watched because of the amazing friendship. plus I enjoyed that these are men in their early 40’s. aging doesn’t mean we aren’t still young at heart so it was fun to see these men act young when together.

this story actually made me realize what “finding your people” means. a group or single friend who accepts you as you and stands by you and you feel the same for your friend.

loved seeing cameo of yonghwa. he has a beautiful face and his expressions were awesome/hilarious. also enjoyed the pretty young male faces. they didn’t take away from me appreciating the older male faces.
