I was not expecting that ending.
It is a nice story that I thought was going to end like all family and school series, but the writers were not bad, it is an extremely sad ending, it made me cry, few series make me cry because that sad ending, seeing that ending broke my heart a lot, the truth at the beginning, almost everyone fell badly, in the end I ended up crying for them, nor even had I realized that it was a sad story, but cute, I recommend them if you want to laugh and cry at the same time. nose because tuverion que Making the boy die for the same time, I found it strange that they did not show something romantic, but I did not expect that.Cet avis était-il utile?

Kdrama does thriller good but jdrama romance will pull your heartstrings!!
I went in completely blank, just the premise of chocolates and mental illness, but the sweetness of characters were over powering the chocolates and i didn't mind. I do love a goood romance drama and i feel like it had it all. the unnecessary crush on the seacond lead while total chill with main lead, social dynamics, therapy, and what not. And by ep 2, i was like i have seen this fl and i came to mydramalist and found her she is k actress and that to from MOVING, and i was happier. Overall it was enjoyable slice of life kind of drama for me and i would rate it 10, because i did not skip a single moment and thats a big deal for me.Cet avis était-il utile?
Miss Independent Ji Eun 2

Short and Sweet pt.2
If Season 1 charmed you with its workplace sweetness, Season 2 arrives as a cheerful change of scenery — swapping office cubicles for university campuses. It brings Lee Ji-eun's university life to the forefront, exploring the worries and love stories of college students as she makes important decisions about her feelings, dreams, and life. The same breezy, low-pressure vibe carries over, making it just as easy and enjoyable to watch. The small tips at the end of each episode — a unique and charming touch. The greater focus on side characters was one of the most refreshing upgrades. Their storylines added warmth and variety that kept things lively beyond just the main couple.

So the biggest problem I had with this drama was the so called conflict! Being from the US I didn’t get it until after a Google search. Still everyone could have moved to the US and been happy!Sometimes I felt like I was watching You’re Beautiful again. Same attitude and déjà vu with some of the lines. The story line would dang and they seemed to break up over and over again over dumb reasons. At the end I was happy to be at the end!
I do really like both actors and felt they did a great job given what they had.

Binged and Entertained
When I watched this I didn't know what this was.My metric on how good a show is basically comes down to whether I binge it or not and this I binged. It ticks a lot of categories for me as a guy
1. Cute female actors
2. Not a focus on love and smooches
3. Action, Action and ACTION
4. Supernatural
5. Good ending
Now when I started watching this I thought the concept of an app called Girigo was stupid because well it's an app. I would have preferred maybe a Jumanji concept where they find some artifact but also the story isn't really about wishes to be frank like it starts off that way but it doesn't keep the wish notion throughout but the core is about the app so I guess it works out.
I found some parts with some plot holes but overall enjoyable series that wasn't keeping me on the edge of my seat but definitely was something I wanted to finish because I was entertained. I wish they actually killed way more people off in more gruesome ways and just went crazy.
The shaman stuff is what captivated me so my favourite is the adult actors because I would love a spinoff on just watching them do shaman stuff. I wanted way more of this too like Korean Shaman is awesome and I'm really into series like that which is why I loved Supernatural like I found it funny Korean Shaman's used salt which I think Chinese Toaist uses rice instead.
My only wish is a spinoff focused on the adult actors like whoever she is, she is BADASS and great looking.
In terms of character development I will say this and that is all the female characters were written so well like every female character I saw was captivating in their own ways. Even the annoying girls I knew their characters were written to be annoying which is why I was smiling at some points... won't spoil but yea take that b***hhhh.
The male characters just the adult one was written well like you can remove all the male actors and I won't miss a thing in this show.
Thus acting wise females dominated males and I can tell the direction or the way writers are these days that lean heavily towards female empowerment shows in their work because well they wrote the males so poorly.
Music, sound effects, ambience all well done like Korean cinematography is always on point with these.
I will end this and say if you can't step over some minor plot holes and one is a major logical flaw then skip it but if you into supernatural stuff this is a very fun watch. I'll also say not a bone in me was scared but then again I've never been scared of these things like I was binging this last night to 3AM all lights off and it was just good vibes.

Park Eun Bin did it again!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I was watching this drama because Chae Jeong-Hyeop & Park Eun-Bin, i thought its going to be too much singing in the drama, but got hooked on EPS 2. The story was good, i thought the father will end up in prison, but the ending was even sadder, "no friends & families". Cha Hak Yeon also amazing,Cet avis était-il utile?

ACCIDENTLY STARTED A DRAMA AND HOOKED FOR EIGHT HOURS
I was just watching vertical short dramas on Youtube and then it automatically played, I was about to exit but the phasing was so fast and all the characters were all equally beautiful and you can actually see who is who, and it was so good that I couldnt even look at the comments or search for the drama incase i might see spoilers that is how good it is, if yall thinking about watching it just watch but not for the romance for the harem conflicts for me it wasnt even romance but still so good since its harem people are questioning how ML loves FL more than others but we need to know he is emperor having only one wife is the most riskiest move by emperor so i kinda see how he is loving the FL, since it was harem drama and there was really really handsome 2nd ML I was worried he might be the ML for the first half of the drama and it was really worrying me but i was just scared to search for it ahahaha thank god 2nd ML is 2nd MLHERE COMES SPOILER
I legit thought her sister was the evil one just like other dramas and how much she spoils her, I thought she is the evil one for the most of the time thank she wasnt evil like i thought she was, girl is just naive and deeply devoted to her sister. I love the sisterly bond between Gu Wan and Wenxin both of them were so sweet on their own and seeing how Gu Wan crying and complaining like a child to FL was so cute, me and 2nd ML should be ashamed for questioning Gu Wan and I was also worried Gu Wan might like Gu Xuan and that is why she resented her sister or something like that but that wasnt the case which i was really happy lmao and Gu Xuan's favortism is so severe like the way he hates one sister and obsessed with another was kind of disgusting i really hate incest even though he is adopted they are still sibling she still treated him like a real sibling, was really worried wether or not he is the ML but thank goodness FL is still rational and didnt fall for her own brother and always putting line between them somehow i really loved the siblinghood between them more than the romance

We have been told this story so many times, yet they were able to put their own twist on it
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.
This may seem like a typical Thai BL university story – a boy meets a boy and has a crush on him, the boy confesses to the boy, and both boys are thrown into a situation where they have to work closely together, where the boy who is being crushed on is now developing feelings for the next boy, and then things progress from there.
While this may seem to be the case, it is so far away from just that being the story. We are also introduced to Qinn's ordeal and what he had to face when he was younger, which shows us why he is the way he is and why his relationship with his parents is the way that it is. We are also introduced to Duang and his personality with how positive he is and that nothing can bring this down (a scene with him saying it's okay that the ship is sinking, he can swim and then proceeds to swim on his bed comes to mind to me). I will admit that there were parts where Dung was a bit annoying to me when he was acting like a puppy to Qinn (it got annoying at a point for me, personally).
It was also a plus to see Duang and Qinn when they interacted with their friends and how their friends were so positive with them and supporting them along the way, because sometimes you don't see that in series, so it was a plus here. I felt that this series was able to handle things well, and the progress of the two relationships here (the main and secondary couple) was handled well. I am going to miss Duang, Quinn and the gang and whatever shenanigans that they end up in every week.

Good
Xu Kai delivers a performance that feels strikingly raw and deeply human, the kind that doesn’t rely on exaggerated gestures but instead draws power from restraint and emotional truth. What stands out most is his ability to make even the quietest moments resonate. A slight shift in his gaze, a pause before speaking, or the way his expression tightens under pressure—these small details carry immense weight and reveal layers beneath the surface. His portrayal captures a delicate balance between strength and vulnerability. He doesn’t simply act out emotions; he allows them to unfold naturally, making the audience feel as though they are witnessing real thoughts forming in real time. This organic quality gives his performance a sense of authenticity that is difficult to achieve. Even in intense scenes, there is no sense of overacting—only a controlled, believable descent into emotional depth.
Another remarkable aspect is his physical expression. His posture, breathing, and subtle movements all align with the emotional state of the character, creating a cohesive and immersive presence on screen. Whether portraying inner conflict, quiet despair, or fleeting moments of softness, he maintains consistency that strengthens the overall narrative.
Perhaps most impressive is how he invites empathy without asking for it directly. The audience is not told how to feel; instead, they are guided through nuance and sincerity, allowing their own emotions to emerge. This kind of performance lingers, not because it is loud or dramatic, but because it feels honest and lived-in.
In essence, his acting reflects a maturity and sensitivity that elevate the material, proving that true impact lies not in intensity alone, but in the ability to make every moment feel real.

surprisingly interesting
I had to consult a dictionary to find what "epoch" means LOL....Surprisingly, I am enjoying this one. The actors are all new to me. I am not familiar with them, so I don't know how popular they are in China. But I like that they are mature actors who have the experience to deliver more than passable acting.
The storyline itself is nothing new. Office intrigues abound in the workplace and the drama highlights how the FL goes from a full time housewife to joining the working class. In between her struggles, are the problems a hotel encounters in its day to day operations.
While not exceptional, it entertains.....

A Note for Hou Minghao’s Fans
In this series, the male lead is a character who is "imperfectly perfect." If you dive into this story, you’ll discover that he is far more clingy and starved for affection than he appears. The drama is rich in detail, so you really have to pay attention. Sometimes his behavior is just a way of acting spoiled, sometimes he’s under the influence of some medicine, but at other times, he seems truly desperate for love. It’s quite surprising because a man of his caliber should be able to handle things on his own, yet he chooses to wait for the female lead to save him. It makes you wonder—why wait?I’m grateful to destiny that the leads are "kindred spirits" sharing the same ideals. They view the land and their fellow citizens as one giant family; whenever they see an injustice, they step in to help. Because of this shared bond, even though the female lead is deeply dedicated to her family and tea business, she refuses to sacrifice her integrity for them. When the male lead fights for justice, she is always ready to stand by him.
What I love about this drama is its unique charm. The female lead here often acts like the male leads you see in other stories—like a "dominant CEO" pursuing a secretary. Yet, there’s an air of mystery about her that can be a bit intimidating; she often leaves the other person guessing or worrying about what she’s thinking. (Honestly, that kind of behavior in a relationship can be tough if it’s too much—it requires a very high level of mutual understanding!)
The cinematography is stunning—beautiful enough to watch over and over again. The craftsmanship is truly exquisite.

There are no words
There are no words to describe how amazing this drama is. ZLH and TXW have the most amazing chemistry and truly delivered a masterclass performance! My only concern now is that absolutely nothing will top this show for me and every c-drama I watch from here on out will be a disappointment.I would also commend the cinematography and direction because DAYUM! The lighting, the angles, the wind that's just everywhere...it all just adds to the mood in every scene. This is probably the best lighting I've seen in any show.

A Believable Love Story
Story >>> One of the strongest suit of this drama is their love story. People complain the beginning is slow and boring, but that what made their story believable, the writers really build that foundation. None of those love at first sight shit, but a well-thought plot on why these two strangers would fall in love. The slow burn start had us pining and yearning when they were temporarily separated, and cheering when they finally got together. ML and FL are so emotionally-mature for their supposed age in the drama, and that's also believable because both of them were hardened from their past experiences. The writers also showed us why Xigu Lane and Lin'an is important to them, so when the seige happened, we wanted them to kill the Sui's before even they thought about it, because we fell in love with the people, too.
The supporting casts stories were also lovely, they weren't written like background wallpaper, but their stories contribute to the plot.
The humor is topnotch, the number of times I replayed the parts that made me laugh should be studied.
I think one of the downsides in the story is the political strife, like I hate politics and all that, but it fell short in a way PM Wei's actions in the past felt so flimsy on why he took the villain role.
Acting >>> I've first seen TXW in "Wrong Carriage, Right Groom", so I'm glad to see her in this another spunky and badass character. Saw some bts how she was quite humble with her action scenes, when she already did martial arts before. Anyway, her Fan Changgyu portrayal is so cute, like how can anyone hate her? Her Changgyu looks really in love with Zheng and her family. Love her action scenes, too! Her in action is just so fluid and natural.
As for ZLH, I got to this drama because of him, basically, I'm looking for revenge dramas and saw Princess Royal and Kunming Palace, which he also starred in and in PR particularly, he had an arrange marriage and divorce problems, lmao. People complain he is just a face card but since I've seen his earlier works, his acting here have drastically improved. He has learned to use his eyes, which is so important because he had a lot pensive and staring down scenes and he nailed it. All his "entrance" in this drama are so cool, even during his wedding where he was in a crutch, it was still cool.
The Sui's were great, too! Sui YuanQing should have lived, haha, like what do you mean he almost died a thousand times, keeps coming back, and the only reason he dies was because he cut his head off?!
Among all the adults, PM Wei just nailed it. He always held himself with dignity even in death.
Production >>> Not really acting, but more on production side, some of the war/rebellion scenes weren't as grand as I expected, especially the final one before the uncle and nephew faced-off, like wdym it started and ended just like that?! Like the Jan 6 insurrection in the US has more production value than that!
But the other battle scenes are good, particularly the dam break, Changgyu's first time in battlefield, and Xie Zheng's headdress haha. Those feathers/horns (?) make up for everything!
Setting >>> I'm more an autumn fan because winter is just too cold to flirt with anyone, lol, but the winter scenery here was a perfect backdrop to their love story. Only downside is you can never see air when they speak, haha, which is common when its cold.
All in all, if you want a love story to captivate you, and take you with their journey, this is for you.
