Familiar Faces and Fresh Surprises: A Solid Drama That Is A Good Watch
I literally do not understand the hate this drama got, because its actually pretty good? The voice dubbing doesn't really pose a problem to me, however at the beginning I really thought that the ML and FL weren't compatible, because of how old he looked. But as the drama progresses, I begun to really enjoy their chemistry and interactions. The other characters also pulled of their roles really well, like I was fooled until the villains revealed themselves. Zhou Yiran has improved so much in this drama in terms of acting, and he really needs to keep expanding his roles and experience. I also really enjoy how this was filmed and the OSTs were pretty nice as well. My favourite character was Zhijian, do not ask why his just hot. Also throughout this drama, there was soo many familiar faces from dramas I've watched before. The storyline has a solid foundation and I like how the drama ends, its satisfying and there is really no need for a continuation. The second couple is absolutely adorable and I've been shipping them since day one. Zhuohua is such an amazing female lead you definitely won't be disappointed! Anyways, I really enjoyed The Legend of Zhuohua, so I give it 8/10.Was this review helpful to you?
don’t waste ur time on this babes ..
from the sypnosis i lowkey thought the storyline would have a main focus on the 3 girls, however i was disappointed that the story kept jumping between things, making it extremely confusing. i was hooked from ep 1-2, however everything just went down from there .. male lead felt really shallow to me, he just seemed like he was there standing behind the cast with that singular :| face. the ‘crime murder plot’ was also a huge mess, just seemed like poor writing to me atp as there was alot of potential (crying emoji). i will have to say that alot of scenes took longer than it had to, sometimes there would be 20 seconds if silence and slow panning which to me felt rlly irrelevant.Was this review helpful to you?
A Drama With Great Potential Ruined By Censorship
Romance On The Farm was pretty good for the most part, however I feel like due to censorship the adaptation was kinda affected. In a sense, its your typical comedic historical drama and its really good, with exciting events that are normal to these genres. In the drama, it is framed as a game, which isn't really touched upon only in the first and last episodes, which makes the drama seem unrealistic, however in the book, it is framed as an isekai. Ignoring this, the episodes in between are really good, I would say there is romance but it isnt heavily focused on, more so a sub genre. I did find Man'er and ShenNuo cute, but their relationship didn't really develop much. I didn't really find the family annoying but there are a lot of scenes with yelling, fighting and drama between them, which I found to be a big part of this drama. I think this was quite a worthwhile drama, that is interesting, overall I rate it 7.5/10!Was this review helpful to you?
XiangYi's Legacy Will Live On: The Intricate Layers of Mysterious Lotus Casebook
Mysterious Lotus Casebook is such a masterpiece and a must watch drama for 2023. The entire storyline is very engaging and each of the cases kept me hooked, I honestly don't think I was ever bored watching this. All the cases had a lot of depth and they all somehow related to Xiangyi in the end. All the characters, especially the main trio of LLH, FDB and DFS, I feel like when they were together the episodes were really fun to watch, they have good chemistry! I also have so much respect for LXY/LLH as a character, and I feel like Cheng Yi pulled off his role perfectly. His calm demeanour, smarts, and the general change of his attitudes makes LLH/LXY such a great character, which really demonstrated his growth as a person. LLH/LXY also felt very human, although he was originally an arrogant grandmaster, he has many scenes were you can see him as a vulnerable person just like everyone else. Also, the fight scenes were really good, like they did not lack the budget at all and it was always so exciting watching any of the characters fight. I feel like this drama has so much depth that can be missed if you're not paying attention, but if you do pick up on them everything just makes so much sense. The ending I think its okay just the way it is, although I would of loved for a 'they lived happily ever after' that's not always realistic, and XiangYi will always be a legend that lives on. Incredible show
Incredible show that really brought the feels. It deftly handled comedy, romance, and heavy family drama. The characters are so rich and well developed, even when their behavior is infuriating, you always understand why they behave the way they do. The two leads have insane chemistry and I was so emotionally invested in seeing them overcome their traumas and get their happy ending. This show looked like a million bucks too: everything from the lighting to shot composition (the split screens and montages were so well done!) to the set design to the occasional use of whimsical animation created this dreamy, swoony aesthetic that made the drama feel so warm even during its saddest moments.Was this review helpful to you?

Awesome show, adorable cast, with minor quibbles at the end
What a great show. I was sucked in immediately: this is exciting, funny yet also heartfelt from the outset. The characters pop off the screen and get you engaged right away. The greatest strength of this show is the complexity of its characters and relationships. As far fetched as the premise and plot can get, and the show doesn't even bother getting into the nitty gritty details of how the science would work, there is a core of psychological authenticity to how the characters interact.Nam Shin III is the most adorable marshmallow of a character ever, and I loved how the FL was won over by him and was able to open her heart after the adversity she had dealt with earlier in life. Watching them grow together and fall in love was so sweet, I swooned hard. The typical evil chaebol shenanigans were well executed. Supporting characters were also rich and layered.
I thought this could be a 10/10 but it slightly fumbled the bag in the last 10 minutes of the last episode (Human Shin has a random two minute redemption arc? Nope, don't buy it. Evil Henchman is totally chill in prison after his 30 years of evil schemes amount to nothing, nope, that's not how that would go. Why wasn't the FL informed that the ML was being repaired, everyone just let her mourn for a year wtf?). Minor quibbles though, this show was awesome.

Meh-drama: Lackluster Plots, One-Dimensional Characters, and a Blatant Maturity Gap
This entire drama was such a meh, and I definitely have lots of complaints about it. First of all, literally nothing happens for the whole duration of the drama, yeah it has fluff (cringe fluff) but its kinda boring seeing the same thing happen three times. The main CP have a very large maturity gap, it gives 19 and 30 yr old, for the most part its just blush blush tee hee I've never been in a relationship before but it's very noticeable and I kinda really got sick of it really quickly. The characters are also very 1D and lack depth, MQC's only personality traits are doctor, chef and voice dubber and it's all based of their careers. MQC is a very unrealistic character who is magically good at everything and there are no challenged whatsoever in the relationship. The 2nd and 3rd Couple were also very forgettable and it kind got to the point where I really just did not care about them. I watched this whole drama on 1.5x speed, and I only finished it because I am a big fan of TJC. I do not recommend this to even people that like romance and fluffy, overall I rate it a 5/10.Was this review helpful to you?
Captivating and intriguing
I truly enjoyed this drama becos , I love this genre so much, the various mysterious cases, the case solving all reminded me of Agatha Christie's and the likewise detective stories I grew up reading n so i enjoyed this drama so much. All the actors did good job but i personally liked fang doubing ckt the most. Although I didn't watch last episode becos I didn't want to watch the sad ending n so by watching epi 39, i gave myself closure with the thought that it had happy ending and evryone lived happily like they wanted i.e LX roaming with FDB solving cases in martial world, n DFX helping them sometimes n always wanting to have a spar with LX😭, that's the ending I m going to live with in my mind, so I avoided watching epi 40.Although this drama seems underrated n not hyped much maybe due to no romance n love story part in it I would highly recommend this drama for mystery and thrill lovers.

finally romance with selfsufficient female + good wuxia
__*A Journey to Love (2023)*__ - 9/10 -cdramaits same like with One and Only ... I loved it enough for 9,5/10 but cause quite tragic ending I wont dare to rewatch it in near future.
Ending is kinda very alike to One and Only at least by hurtful feelings it lefts.
This drama is 7 brave or 47 ronin type of drama with main characters having each quite interesting personality which can grow through whole drama. And mainly cause this quality you will feel sadness once you see die some of main characters.
By end of drama I had some kinda dejavu feeling and could predict what will happen in next eps. Still this drama took me on ride and I had to binge it.
Overall for me its one of best historical tragic wuxia cdramas. Of course its mainly caused thanks alot of romance storylines through whole drama.
plot is long and change through 40eps. I will just summarise beginning.
__*plot*__ - two kingdoms fought for gold mine and WU country emperor was taken hostage. [ML] as former master of WU spy agency was send to protect princess[pretending to be prince] to enemy AN country buy emperors freedom back. Possible successors of WU emperor dont want WU emperor to get back and they will make problems for whole delegation. Former AN country top assassin[FL] joins to delegation to help ML in exchange for his help with her revenge towards AN country.

IT HAS EVERYTHING WHAT NEED FOR A GREAT SHOW!!!!!
Ah! where do I start...This series contained everything. It is a slow glow romance but throughout eventful. How it started how it spread out through the level of 16 episode is something else. It feels like those 16 episodes are not enough. One of the other things are that aesthetic view and the production the locations they choose, with those it feels likes the story the characters the acting glows more and more enlighten this thing.
Taking about the episodes....
-> The first few episodes their interaction is great all time when she needs, he was there. The one thing I find great is all time their interaction is their which is very important in a slow romantic drama somewhere I feels lacks in the other dramas like those. There are some scenes where they mad at themselves those feel very cute and romantic.
-> Now the middle part this is very important part for the show as their romance starts here how they deal with their emotions is totally stunning especially she. She was totally sure about her feeling although her friend confesses but she knows that who is the one for her. Dealing the story at this place may seem slightly low (only with respect to the others parts of the story which sets a very high level) but in the end it doesn’t seem that way because they sort the things out in the end
-> In ending, it is the most important thing any drama most drama of them goes with the break up scenes and that’s here this drama specially rise out from others. The dark past of him was always haunt him there. They know that the story will be monotonous after the confession so they now go with his past which is good in my opinion and enough helps people to keep attached and this thing may seem odd but I feel the levels of the episodes somewhere fluctuates as the 15th episode is fully packed with the events. GOSH! I never see such a fully packed 15th episode yes things change in dramas in 15 episode but here it something more happed, At the ending episode they end this in a lighter note which is also great and pleasing to see.
o) Now about the story....
This is the one of the most well-constructed slow burning romance stories I have ever seen. This story has everything for hang around till last. As start from the first how she left everything to come here and settle how their inter action goes till the end is very great. How he was helping her for small things like set up, that misunderstanding with their people, with that pervert etc. all are great to see. The jealousy of both him and her is quite good to see and enjoyable till the last. One thing I really feels great is their romance starts exactly when needed not too early they given the time to develop their feelings they didn’t rush to show them together which is big plus to the story. (I am telling this because I saw many slow rom com drams where they stared this too much fast which kind of makes the whole thing boring and mono tonus.).How they pan out the after confession thing is also quite thoughtful to see they show many things like keeping their relationship a secret, misunderstanding, inferiority complex, need of time and space in a relationship all those things I think is in the right amount not everything too much. They hover around the past of him with the whole series but they choose to tell this when that needed at last stepping stone, that shock at the end of 14th episode and that eventful 15th episode is something else. The supporting characters is also quite great her friend who was with her everything. The stories of the other supporting characters is also very well constructed it shows the real self of how some people their dreams in an small village how they support each other during their difficult time and give space when needed. Even the story of the director is also quite greatly accomplished that is deal with right value.
Another thing about the story is they conclude the story in one season it’s like that they have a clarity of thought don’t unnecessary hanging or half-hearted business which may going to solve out in the season 2 or not which left the people frustrating and gives a wholesome complete experience.
One thing I really feels sad that nobody tells sorry him even at once (about the past). I mean That guy literally did not do anything at all in the investment case. He literally doses everything to stop that man from investing he gives him warning thousand times the only fault that the guy done was he did not able to see his investment only for the cause of the hectic work and he also pay them off and does everything he could with the shock of lose his brother like friend and also, he listens those disrespectful words from his mother. In the accident case also, he has nothing to do yes for him they were heading there. I mean they could show the father of the director’s colleague and could ease the things out at least once and a sorry form the guy and I can understand about the case of his friend’s wife she was too shock to tell anything. Another thing that I really hate that when comes to beat him and accusing him that happened in front of every one but when the time comes sort things out and the real truth that he told in the night solely and nobody was there. Those thing I think does not matter the most but I felt some where weird.
o) Now about the acting...
Those kinds of drama are actually a lot depend on acting not only of the amin cast but with the supporters as well. With the story the acting is also flawless that’s what make this series greater. It’s the acting which makes the characters livelier and more relatable. The acting of the of both of them show a really great character growth the fear of him about the past and how he let them go and how he always left alone is quite heartbreaking to see. On the other hand, sheer character growth is also remarkable
settling down a small see side town coming from a modern vast city is not so easy the interaction with the residents how they will accept her is delighted to see here. She at the end even taken a big leap to left everything and married him.
One other character who was wonderful was that old lady (sorry! I forget the name) she has every bit of influence on their life whether she or he every time some odd thing happened; she was there to drive them the right way. She literally saves him and she treated her as her own daughter and tell her how lonely he was. Others acting was also up to the mark.
o) About music...
I generally do not talk about or understand the music of K-drama but here it is quite different the primary song is really soothing to hearing the ears. and somewhere feels like started al new beginning and really refreshing. Overall, there nothing odd are there and the music quite remarkable.
o) Rewatch value...
For me the rewatch value determines by how many short, satisfying incidents or interaction is present in between the leads.as I spoke earlier that the stalker scene, that pervert scene, those drinking scene, her confession scene, the golf scene these things generally add the rewatch value in the show. Those people like that the gossiping woman makes the show relatable and good to watch. And the last thing is the whole story is quite eventful not one-sided mad boring which is main thing for rewatch.
In the end the best thing about the show is You can watch the show with always a smile in your face which is always mind and mood refreshing. I Khow its quite a big review but I can still write around many things as it is that much great.

This follow-up series to the pairing of Meen & Ping in "Ai Long Nhai" shows improvement in acting skills of both leads, although Ping could benefit from doing improvs in front of a mirror to reduce his squishing of his eyes for most emotions. Their romantic scenes worked well and showed the benefit of both actors being familiar with each other.The show is very much a hybrid of mafia and romance and its production bifurcation is reflected in having two DOP's. I suspect one was chosen to apply the lush cinematographic effects to certain critical scenes, most especially the romantic ones, while the remaining scenes feel stock standard Thai soap in character.
The action scenes are plentiful as entertainment if one ignores the equivalency of portraying a man who kills without compunction with a faithful lover willing to sacrifice a lucrative life in crime for a gay nest. Balancing all these factors causes the storyline to be rushed with the result that critical life decisions are raised and resolved in the time it takes to order at a restaurant, which is a pity because this show has a supporting cast many would envy. Winner as the third wheel in the relationship comes close to tipping the scales away from Guy's boyfriend, Thiu. Tonlew looks as if she could handle roles with more meat. Tinn is clearly working below his class in this show while Nitta and Paam are worth seeing again in other projects. Tommy could be the find of the year if he improves on his acting, but this series is based on a webtoon, and much of it felt cartoonish anyway.

Don't give up trying.
I started watching these series when I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't sleep, and since so many people commented it was boring, I thought it would be perfect to help me. On the contrary! I ended up watching it all night and was nearly late for work in the morning. And still I couldn't bring myself to watch the last episode and was putting it off for a few days, because I expected some serious drama. Summaries that say this is two exes getting back together are wrong - it is so much more! This is not your typical K-drama where you expect a pretty female lead to act childlike while two rich and handsome men fight for her and solve all her problems. This is deep and serious, and filled with doubts and petty things and emotions we all deal with sometimes. Inferiority complex is real, feeling of failure in terms of financial success is very much girls' problem too. It's so refreshing to see a talented woman who is not obsessed with the idea of finding a rich husband and have kids for a change! She is doing her best at the very verge of physical effort. This is the first time in Korean series that I see a woman who's hair isn't perfectly styled or even washed (although she is beautiful of course). I would dare say that 3 female characters are rather feminist, because their life isn't orbiting around the idea of a family. They don't give up after failed relationships or businesses. I was especially touched by the story of origami artist. I know maybe most missed her character at all, but this is a character who has a passion in life, something that she loves and finds deep meaning in, and literally everyone around her just don't get it. This is a story of true loneliness and great love that she harbors, but it doesn't even involve another person, it is ultimate loneliness of someone who has so much to share and no one to share it with, no support. When she was making Buddha faces I almost cried. Sometimes there is nothing you can do, so you try to find support in the face of a paper god. This touched me so deeply... Girl, I FEEL YOU. Whoever wrote this, hear me - I FEEL YOU! And this vacuum of loneliness between so many people, who aren't even mean or bad to you, they just don't get you, they look at you, but just don't really see you. For all the lonely creators out there - you are not alone even though sometimes it might feel that way. Or most of the time. The main storyline is also great story of two adults that have their own insecurities, and love. The petty jealousy of the main lead is hilarious to watch but also veery relatable. The friend who cared enough to almost beat his best friend up so he would stop damaging his health is so touching too - everyone deserves a best friend like that! And they all exhaust themselves in their work, despite very different results.This line towards a video channel "thank you for being a dear friend to me all these lonely nights when I had hard time"... I am totally quoting this wrong, but oh... Thank you all content creators that help me to not stay alone in the screaming silence of my thoughts during those sad and lonely moments. Thank you for your support and moments of shared friendship that you offer even though we will never know each other's names or even faces. This very series was exactly that for me! This story is mood! How inspiring this is to do your thing despite failure, despite the lack of support from your family, partners, friends, or anyone at all. I loved it so much it made me cry, but you know, a good cry, very touching. I will absolutely recommend to watch it to everyone, even though I know not many people will get it.
And I must confess that main male lead... he is so gorgeous he looks regal! I have a crush and I hope someone stars him in a costume fantasy drama where he would play a deeply troubled emperor, duke of someone aristocratic, but like evil with a great backside story, and of course there needs to be a great love storyline with a lot of drama too. I have so many ideas I think I should start writing it.

"DOOM" at "DEATH'S" door!
So I am not a fan of writing reviews mid show ...but I saw no detailed review on the page and hence decided to go for it.(ain't I such a good human ) - please take of note of it miss DEATH! lol
SYNOPSIS - It's the story of a man who believes that he has failed at life and has nothing that makes life worth holding on to ....penniless, jobless and believing that even his girl friend has moved on he decides to end this once and for all. But death seems to have other plans.
He's given 12 chances to die (yes die not live lol) but if he makes it alive once then he gets to live the life of that person and escape hell. - sounds intriguing , so is the show.
From the first ep on you are hooked and once you hit play there's no going back atleast for my binge watcher delusional self !
To put it in a cool way -
The story is just out of the stove ( i mean to say fresh) and the show portrays humans in a very real way putting us in the shoes of someone whom we as society have failed into believing that he's a failure. His journey with greed, love, betrayal, mortality, regret, self worth, relationships and death has the viewers in its grip and this makes for a perfect weekend watch.
(We have a lot of cutiepie's playing a cameo here so too many eye candies ...❤️)
If you have read other reviews which i did they say that the character has no development and is practically wasting his chances ....but hey it's human and very practical of him to not learn just by dying ...he didn't live those people's lives how can you expect that he'll be affected in the very first minute ...like how ?
It's just been a few days for him to be living in that body ...he's still the same person who considered himself a failure because he wasn't apparently doing well financially. so to me it does make sense for him to be the way he is ...and quite frankly he's learning ....
some also talk about less screen time given to some portrayals but guyss he's not going to live 12 times he has to die 12 times that's the deal man ...if he just lives as that person for 2-3 months how is that starting at the brink of death ?
The show does well in the humor zone alongside human portrayal zone lol ....(idk why i had to write this line but ...) The actors do a pretty well job - special mention - Go Yong Jung (ML's GF) get my girl crush main role you guysss ...she deserves so much more ❤️ and that baby - damn he acted better than the people who were playing his parents ....he nailed it to every bit of perfection ! and so cute 🥺
also all the cameos be doing so well it actually feels like it's the ML ....also makers must've spent a lot to get that start struck lineup man ...too good of an investment tho !
Park so dam as Death is killing it with every look...! I am not a big fan of her dialogue delivery tho but she's doing fine !

this show is definitely definitely worth your time and please try to hold on the message it gives ...live before you actually have no chance at life ...it's a perfect mix of thrill , drama, humor and fantasy ...please DO TRY !.
