PROMISING NEW BL COUPLE THAT NEEDS WORKSHOPS FOR ACTING; WEAK STORY AND ACTING

From the first episode I already knew that this series would suck, not because of the casting but mainly because of lack of acting experience and also the story line is so weak.
Pepper and Kong is obviously great together, I'm not gonna lie about their chemistry, at one point i had this feeling that they really are a couple (BF). The bed scenes made a concrete manifestation of their chemistry and it's the only thing that's interesting. Not being a pervert but romantic scenes is BL shows are also a crucial thing in determining the story line.
From the title itself 'Dinosaur Love", in all episodes Dino is showing how much he cares and love Rak and i like that they are true in the title of the series. We can all agree that the main problem on this series is the acting, setting and PLOT although I've said earlier that they area being true to the title but that's not enough to convince and engage people in all the characters.
I REALLY HOPE THAT PEPPER AND KONG WILL GROW IN ALL THE SERIES THAT THEY WILL BE IN AND LEARN THINGS FROM IT SO THEY CAN USE IT IN THEIR FUTURE SHOWS.
I REALLY LOVE THIS TWO COUPLE TOGETHER AND I REALLY DO BELIEVE THAT IF THEY ARE BEING TRAINED WELL, THEY COULD BE THE ACTOR THAT THEY ARE MEANT.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD IN MANY PROJECTS FOR PEPPER AND KONG IN THE FUTURE!

I admit it, watched it because of few edits that seemed interesting. But then I simply binged the show. The approach to shoot and tell the story in this show seems peculiar. Although you could say that it very much like other stories, we have a working place romance and they also come to her house at one point, with the difference that the working place is a mental hospital and her living place is a huge mansion where she plays a role of a princess in a high tower.

My first surprise came from two things, Mun Young's antisocial personality disorder and Sang Tae's autism. For America it must be pretty old news, I bet there people don't realize that in other countries mental health might either not be a thing or treated very differently. I'm not from the US, so I can relate a bit to Korea on the subject. After all mental disorders are rarely talked about there, mental health issues seem to be often swept under the rug, shunned or treated with scorn, maybe people don't even believe in it. Here we don't really shy away from mental health problems, but therapists themselves are not in favor (they all act as if they have problems themselves))). So seeing them putting such things on the screen felt like a step. More than that, Sang Tae's character wasn't glorified (imo). And also Mun Young wasn't your typical FL.. more like she was the opposite at first glance.

I consider this a healing drama and to me actually Sang Tae's character represented the process. No really, just for Oh Jung Se's acting I wouldn't give this show low rating, I found his acting and his character simply amazing. The acting of others also should be praised btw, everyone did a very good job. It's just that Oh Jung Se stood out for me.
And I'll be honest here, I had never had a chance to experience for myself what it's like to know a person with autism, everything I've seen was only in different TV series and some don't glorify the image. I found myself thinking when watching Kang Tae taking care of Sang Tae - damn, this is hard, it's as if you don't belong to yourself, but belong to the other person. It felt like a heavy boulder weighed on your shoulders when you simply can't even communicate properly and often times adapt to the other person. So changes by the end in Sang Tae were more obvious. It doesn't mean that he lost his autism, but things changed.
As for Kang Tae and Mun Young.. I must admit they chose a really handsome pair. Soo Hyun is really handsome and Yae Ji is the epitome of what the say about melon seed face in the description (don't ask, I read a ton of Chinese novels and they always describe small faces as such) and has tiniest waist. She was really loud, rude and capricious, but I still liked her. Also unlike other Fls I know they really dolled her up, she didn't wear clothes, she wore money.
In general no one from the trio was completely an okay person. But it's okay to not be okay. Gotch ya.

The main part of the storyline was actually the past that weighed down on all three. So getting some answers, coming to terms with ourselves, finding ourselves being changed thanks to the other person was part of the process.

When finishing it was obvious that this show might not be for others. I wasn't part of the hype, since I'm seeeing this show basically years later, so I have no idea if the show was heavily advertised, but I can say without people shoving something to you, I chose this drama for myself and enjoyed watching it.

MUST WATCH!

I wasn’t expecting much from this show but holy shit it did not disappoint!

Each episode was filled with something new and interesting, the plotwists they would end each episode with made you want to continue immediately!

I’m in awe and i’m so sad that it only had 7 episodes.

I wasn’t rooting for anyone in the show until Mimo came. I’m so glad they connected a mother daughter relationship into the plot, it mended so well with the flow. Shows how strong mothers love can truly be.

I cannot feel angry at any of the characters in there, the grandma who hunted down Mimo was also a mother who was filled with grief and pain, Momi was no different. She wanted to protect her daughter just like she said in the car when she was fleeing.

Momi’s mother sacrificing herself in the end was so heart wrenching as well. She was painted as a heartless monster who didn’t care but a mother’s instinct and love can never truly go away.

I cried in the end, i’m really happy Mimo had her best friend with her in the end. And if the show ever did a sequel I would definitely watch!

I also wonder what happened to the daughter who needed that kidney donated…Hm!

Overall, amazing show! Great acting from everyone and great pacing. Must watch and it’s quick watch as well! 10/10!!

Decent Show with Good Acting

No Spoilers, just some pros and cons.

Pros
===
The acting was very good. I would call out Kim Kyung-Chul for his portrayal of Sea In-Ho, the jerk husband. Of course we don’t like his character, but he did a truly superb job of navigating jerkiness and having regret. I would also call out Jo Adam for her role as Jeon So-Ra. It looks like she does not have a lot of acting experience, but the way she portrayed a cranky, domineering personality was quite subtle and skillful.

I liked the storyline and the message they were trying to communicate.

Everything that happened in the story was believable, even if unlikely.

Cons
===
Somehow the series did not draw my wife and I in as much as our favorite KDramas. Despite some touching scenes, we were not too emotionally invested in the characters.

The ending was O.K., and I think sent a nice message, but again we were sort of just, “Oh, it’s over. What will we watch next?” Rather than feeling like we would miss the story and characters. The story just sputtered to a halt. There a number of things they could have done to tie everything up to a greater extent.

So overall, not bad, but not great. So a 7 ranking.

Laws of Attraction!!

'Laws of Attraction' is an interesting drama that gets you invested right from the very start. It has action, attractions, an interesting plot and to add up a great cast. I admit JamFilm were the sole reason I started this series in the first place for I loved them in 'To sir with love' and trust me I don't love them any less here, but along the way I fell in love with the other characters too starting from Tonkhao to Grandmother to Rose to Maya to Thee and Thaethai to Nawin. I loved each one of them.

Talking about Charn, I won't lie I couldn't trust him fully even until half of the series. I loved him, his sassy attitude, the way he didn't leave any chance when it came to flirting with Tinn, the way he used his brain in a smart yet cunning way. I loved everything about him but I still just couldn't trust him. However, that didn't lessen my love for him. Then we have Tinn, his struggles felt so real. He is righteous and he wants justice for his niece but he doesn't bend to unruly ways. He stands his ground even in front of Charn. And may I add the chemistry between Tinn and Charn was cute. It was so freaking crystal clear how they both wanted each other ever since they laid their eyes on each other. The tension felt so real and watching them not so subtly flirt was an absolute delight to see.

Moving on to Thaethai, damn I can't believe I went from hating Thaethai to loving him so much. He is a vulnerable kid with a trash dad. He deserves nothing but happiness. He looked like an absolute spoiled kid in the starting but as I watched more of him, he grew on me. And Thee this guys world revolved around Thaethai ever since the starting. He was the only one who saw Thaethai for who he is. Thee and Thaethai I was really cheering for them. They are so cute mahn.

Then we have Rose and Maya, oh lord this girls have my heart. They were badass and it was so enjoyable to see them tease Charn. Also, Tin's grandmother she is the most understanding character. Damn I wish I had a grandma like her.

Overall a really good series with a good plot. The suspense and romance element is well balanced and the plot is well executed. I won't say it's perfect, it had it's own share of plot holes but it was enjoyable. So, recommended!!

I should read the comment below first. Haha...

Ugh where should I start this.... This is one maybe the most implicit BL drama that come out China that I've ever watch. And I love every bit of this. Unfortunately this drama leave bitter sweet taste in my mouth with the closing curtain. What do I mean?? Well.... If you already read the comment below you'll know what I mean, if not just be prepared cause I'm gonna scream... Just a warning this gonna be BIG SPOILER ALERT!!! If you don't wanna know just stop reading my review then...

THIS A BIG *SS OPEN ENDING!!!! WITH THE CLIFANGER THAT MAKE ME WANT TO HANG THE DIRECTOR!!!!

Well if you read the comment below, you gonna find video from the director that tell they gonna continue this drama. But with BL or anything second season is just mean nothing guarantee & we just need to wait patiently for the announcement or the airing of the 2nd season. But for you who doesn't have patient, like me, to wait for 2nd season, you can find the book (Are You Addicted) and read for yourself. And I've read some of the first chapter, and got a bad feeling this will not gonna be continue. Still finger cross that my prediction is wrong & we can still enjoy the continuity of this drama.

The first question that comes to my mind after finished watching this, of course beside how come the director torturing us with such ending, is how come this passed the censorship??? But once again the comment just help answering "Released internationally only. Many censorship rules don't apply." With the biggest question in my head already been answered let we talk about what I like and don't like from this drama then...

What I like:
+ Oh I really like the chemistry of our boys Wu Bi & Su Yu. From curious to getting to know each other & to life time 'friendship' is played well... Haha... Really funny how they behave like little kids with prank and revenge to each other. And how they friendship finally bloom into something more. Haha... Really like the take on "I Love You... Ocean". Really one brave line from C-drama land.
+ What is family.... The lonely boy found the family in the place that he never expected
+ The cute Duo Duo. Haha... This little smart kids, really brighten the story.

What I don't really like:
- The mystery surround Wu Bi's mom a little not too clear. Yeah I know this not really about her story or Wu Bi family in the matter of fact. But with leaving the thread like that for me is not enough.
- The relationship between Wu Bi and his dad still not too good. Wonder how will the director take the direction from the book. Where the plot gonna be steer.
- Nothing more that just glance or subtle kiss on the cheek (still surprise by this) can be happen on our screen. Because you know... this is c-drama. Need to wait how Thai adaptation gonna take the relationship... Haha....

Overall I really like this drama. Even with such cliffhanger I still can't bring myself to give this drama lower score. Haha...

Enemies-to-lovers and also a friends-to-lovers story

Why is "I Am Not a Robot." a must-watch?
Because the hero has an allergy to human contact and throws birthday parties with his gadgets. It's an enemies-to-lovers but also a friends-to-lovers story. An absolute Robot Romance with laugh-out-loud moments as well as emotional ones.

After Kim Min Kyu lost his parents and betrayed by people around him in his childhood, he develops a severe allergy to human touch. One day, he was approached by an AI team who made an advanced robot looking like our female lead Ji Ah, offering the robot to be his personal assistant. But the robot breaks just before being delivered to him, so Ji Ah is begged to fill in to be a robot. She can't tell him she's human because he's allergic to humans, but until when?

Thus, an absolute robot romance ensues, with laugh-out-loud moments as well as emotional ones. The plot is surprisingly dynamic because both leads have their own rich and interesting story. Min Kyu, he’s just a lonely man who lives alone in his mansion and throws birthday parties with his gadgets. I love how Ji Ah’s personality is still shown even during pretending to be robot AG3. Even when he was practically her boss, she made her own choices and finds her way to his heart. Because of her, the romance works naturally.

My praise goes to the actors’ performances; Yoo Seong Hoo whose emotions touch me beyond my expectation. His backstory is painful and his climax was really powerful. I'm always a sucker for actors who play multiple roles well because they’re literally changing on screen, just like what Chae Soo Bin did with her 3 roles; the robot, herself and herself pretending to be a robot.

This would have been a stagnant drama if it was only Min Kyu's story. Min Kyu has a ranking system for the electronics in his house, so when AG3 / Ji Ah, first enters this house, he tells her that the floor vacuum is actually her Sunbae (which means her senior), because she's the newest. And he calls only his favorite electronics "lovely." Ji Ah had a rich and interesting story that was all her own, and she had agency even during her pretense in AG3. Her Friend Mode is one of the reasons the romance worked because Friend Mode was actually Ji Ah's personality. She was responding to him as she normally would, and that's who he fell for. Even when he thought she was the robot, he didn't treat her like an object. He didn't treat her like an appliance. He treated her like a human, like a friend. She made her own choices, even when he was in charge. When she wanted to just close down an argument or when he was trying to make her clean, she would be like, "I have to go in power save mode, or my battery's gonna die." And she would just drop her shoulders, and her head, and close her eyes, and it was hilarious. And he'd be like, "Oh, I'm going to get you better batteries. I'm going to get you the best batteries in the world." Oh, it's so cute. He was the reason the romance worked and her storyline was the reason why the overall drama worked.

Why my rating for this drama is not so high is me not enjoying all of the tertiary characters and some boring subplots. However, I still think it’s a good watch for its’ unique premise and amazing performance by the leads!

the great chemistry and acting will make you go for it !! Great drama

at first I didn't want to watch this drama at all because of the reviews I saw in the top... those should have been haters because from the first episode this drama captivates you and it's super catching, I haven't seen a drama like this for a long time and I really waited for a drama to be aired again in which you find a story, chemistry and personables are really amazing. I have not left a review on this page until now, but I felt it was worth it. I'm 26 years old and I was really captivated by this drama and I can't wait to see more episodes and how the story of the two will end

A cute and VERY loose adaptation of the Thai original

You have to watch this with a different lens

The storyline is loosely the same but the plot, characters and scenarios are quite different.

I'm enjoying it so far but it takes a few minutes to forget JimmyTommy SaintZee and just accept these characters as they are without comparing it with the Thai version.

The episodes are short and there are 2 a week so it will be done really shortly but it's nice to see KBLs doing more than one couple dramas and giving us 'more' on the intimacy scale.

Here's hoping the ending is just as satisfying.

Just finished and yes, whilst it felt rushed we got the ending we hoped for I guess. Would have liked this to be 10 or 12 episodes to give us more couple time?

Enjoy

Strongly disliked one of the storylines, stayed for the indie vibe and artistry

This short BL drama (5 episodes of about 14 minutes as well as a prequel of similar length labelled separately as "episode 0") is centred around the relationships of two couples and narrated through the eyes of a third one. My appreciation of the series is quite unbalanced as I appreciated only one of the two storylines.

In terms of story, I was indeed quite disappointed by some elements. Given the shortness of the episodes, it is a given that the plot need to move quite fast, especially because the show is about two couples (who almost never interact with each other), but still the pacing felt a bit draggy at times.

Moreover, if I quite appreciated the story of Hayden x Damian, I must admit that I strongly disliked the other storyline around Kelvin x Arche. It involved a crazy / evil woman antagonist, which is kind of a classical trope that I unfortunately particularly did not find entertaining here. It tempered a lot my enjoyment of the show, it could have been interesting but felt messy and difficult to root for them given the context. I honestly wish the drama would have focalised only on one couple (for me Hayden and Damian) in order to better characterize the protagonists and to go deeper in terms of scenario.

Acting-wise, the actors did an honourable job. There was no obvious weak link and the chemistry was good while not memorable.

I really enjoyed the indie vibe and the artistry of the series. It is clearly a slow and atmospheric drama with a more subdue vibe. And there are truly beautifully filmed scenes that are striking. It felt like the filmmakers were able to do a lot in terms of scenography and lighting, with little budget. I also liked the music overall.

I would not necessarily recommend this to people as I only enjoyed one of the two storylines. It is really short so you might want still to give it a go, at least for the artistic vision. It seems that the production team has decided to work on redoing this story in another format (with more & longer episodes)...Not sure if I will watch it unless they drastically improve the content of the storylines in the upgraded version.

Strong Leads with Amazing Chemistry

I don't watch CDramas usually and I just went into this one blind. And loved every second of it.

I loved the ML and FL. They love what they do (ice skating) and are good at it. They don't always win, but face setbacks and disappointments which they work hard to overcome. Of course, they both are portrayed as especially (a bit fantastically) talented players, but I think that is acceptable in a drama like this.

Their interactions with each other was soooo cute. Great on-screen chemistry. It has tropes of contract relationship and friends-to-lovers. They both play different sports (are not competitors) and help each other grow. One reason I stay away from CDramas is how the FL is always a bit less talented than the ML and don't sense much respect between the two, but this one was different. They both were equals and supportive of each other.

The sports part was done very well. There were some issues with how the sports scenes were shot, but mostly ignorable. I especially loved the upbeat OST of the sports scenes. Actually, the OST was pretty good overall and did wonders for the drama quality.

There were a lot of cliches involved, and the drama was light and fluffy (you pretty much know the ending when you start), but it was an overall enjoyable watch (even though the ending was a bit rushed; I would've loved to see more of the characters life at the end; it was too abrupt). All the characters complemented each other and did their part well. So hurray to the casting, too.

Go into it if you want to relax and have a good laugh. This drama delivers exactly what it promises. Happy watching!

SEASON 2 PLEASE!!!

This is SO good, deserves way more limelight!!! Since I am timid, I mostly skip fantasy show as it is usually scary for me. But, this one is surprisingly okay! There is about 5% of scary scenes but that's about it

Finally, get to enjoy this genre without being scared LOL...

It's well-balanced! We need more show like this!

It's funny but deep at same time. Lots of life lessons in each episode and beautiful family and friendships.

While this isn't BL, I feel the bromance has a little bit of the BL vibes, so I am totally enjoying that too..lol

The ending is so well done. Everything is answered and wrapped up nicely.

Most importantly, it doesn't drag!!! Initially, I wished that it has more episodes, but after I finished watching, I am happy at how it ends. The only thing is I wish there is second season coz I want MORE!!!!

best show

one of my fav kdramas. i watched season 1 when it first came out a few years ago and have been waiting for season two ever since. this show is definitely a kdrama to watch i definitely recommend. the character development is so good. so many people are mad that they make it out that every counter is weak aside from mun but i definitely feel like that adds such a strong bounding to the show as he wasn’t very confident to start with and he had a lot going on in season two (Remember guys he is the MAIN character of the show)

people also tend to find the new counter annoying, personally i think he is adorable and he deserves so much love. his power may be dumb however it has helped them find so many more evil spirits due to them figuring out how to avoid the territory.

he definitely adds a lot to the team.

please watch if you haven’t!

Finding Your True Family

Heartwarming to the last second.
Eunmi and Jinhee are the definition of Ride or Die. That was evident from the start, but we got closer to the characters as they cleared their misunderstandings. While Eunmi and Jinhee's relationship was goals for most of the time I did find it a teensy bit toxic sometimes. But you'll get what I mean when you watch!
It showed us the reality of teen pregnancy (well, one reality ig) without glorifying it (see what I mean in ep 16)
Touched on gay relationships
2 (separate) AMAZING besties for our FLs
A lovely hate-to-love relationship between our police officers <3
It mentioned how blood relations can potentially, truly mean nothing at all but it's the relationships YOU choose. And I loved that.
Flaws -
More Jinhee and Jaewon pleaseee
Didn't like how their love story was so short.
