Exciting and sweet

This drama is so exciting, I can't stand it anymore, always these breaks in between, 5 days off, you should really binge watch it. I'm so curious......

I find so many suspicious there (the mother, she never shows, that she loves her son and does everything for her politician career / the CEO and his brother / the brother of
the ex-girlfriend who is aggressive and violent)

But I really like how great the FL + ML are. The act with each other so honestly. This is so different from all these other K-Dramas where one misunderstanding follows the next.

Do not believe the naysayers! Love To Hate You is a delightful romantic comedy that is really not trying to say that all men are misogynists; she dated such guys to settle a score in behalf of the women that they have hurt. The drama is a comedy and, as so, it relates the story in a somewhat lighthearted way to bring the leading couple together and make them realize that loving the right person makes their lives a lot more fulfilled. If a viewer is too judgmental of the drama, it will not be enjoyable; just watch it with an open mind and with the idea that the drama does not intend to convey messages in a self-righteous or tiresome way, it really tries to use a selected theme of taking revenge many men that happened to be taking advantage of women and, in the process, finding out that not all of them are created equal and throughout the process, the main cast the triumphed over adverse circumstance resulting in a happy ending. The drama has a great cast that did a fantastic job bringing their characters to life and the leading couple has a highly pleasing romantic chemistry. Also, the overall chemistry was great and the cast delivered a very entertaining drama. Enjoy it!

super cute j-drama

this was such a good j-drama! it's a new favorite and I'll be re watching in the future <3
- the humor in this is just spot on and the to main leads did amazing with the script. this is 100% my kind of humor but I think anyone would like it
- FL and ML visuals were spot
- really handled the topic of suicide and death well. they give a good perspective I think people can relate to. it's not super dark.
- the love story didn't feel creepy. you could tell they both care for each other.

I am Sorry

After reading those Review,I watched the 3 first Episodes and the last two.
I didn´t understand why the Main Lead "fall" for this Kind of Woman?
Ha is a CEO and falls for a Girl who didn´t grow up?
The Story had so many Potencial but the Crew waste it.
Why should I say more about it.
I am a Fan of Luo Zheng and I feel sorry for Ji Mei Han,that she has played such a "Girlie".
And after I watched the 3 Episode.I had enough and switcched to the End.But is was not better.
Love to watch Asien Dramas and there are not many of them ,who disapoint me.But this one is one of them.

Understated but well-done

A little slow in the middle which is where I've deducted the points, but fortunately it's not a long drama so it's not endlessly dragging. Beautiful and understated, really tugs at your heart string both with their love but also with the grief you'll feel at the end. Not a well-known drama (probably because it's exclusively on iQIYI subscription as far as I know), but a gem!

This is my first drama with Ren Jia Lun but he and Bai Lu do a great job at playing restrained characters but their love is palpable. There was an online blog review I read (Cyn Lynn) that mentioned that typically, Bai Lu's acting always carries a bit of her real persona in there, but in this Bai Lu the actress is completely gone and she fully embodies Shiyi. I fully agree! A lot of people find her character boring but she is strong in her own way, acting in the confines of her noble status, but she uses her smarts to assess dangerous situations and act accordingly, so that only people equally as smart can catch wind of what she's thinking.

The supporting characters and their relationships are also beautiful; sometimes there are side couples that I just could care less about but I deeply cared about all of them.

I'm glad that I read spoilers because I probably would have passed out crying if I went in blind. I put a lower rewatch value simply bc it is very slow, but other people in the comments on iQIYI mentioned they've rewatched several times.

stay away from this drama

In a whirlwind of emotions, "My Wife’s Having an Affair This Week" managed to be painfully captivating, only to end in a train wreck of epic proportions. The journey through its tumultuous plot twists felt like being caught in a storm, with Episode 11 offering a glimmer of redemption. But alas, the finale slapped viewers with an open ending that left me wanting to hunt down the writer responsible.

Episodic anticipation turned to bitter disillusionment as the show's closing moments unfolded. A simple ending was all that was needed – the wife realizing her mistakes, earnestly striving to earn back her shattered marriage. Instead, the creators cruelly chose to glorify her infidelity, crafting an ending that defied logic, morality, and basic storytelling sensibilities.

What baffles the most is the audacity to champion a narrative that essentially condones betrayal and deceit. The wife's brazen affair, coupled with her web of lies, painted a portrait of moral bankruptcy. And yet, in the eleventh hour, the husband's sudden dash towards forgiveness defies not only reason but also the emotional depth that the series initially promised.

It's a slap in the face to anyone who invested emotions and empathy into the characters. The show trudged through episodes of pain, anguish, and growth, only to discard its own internal logic for the sake of a cheap shock ending. It's as if the creators reveled in overturning the emotional journey they had carefully built.

The open ending, with its gaping lack of resolution, is an affront to storytelling integrity. The wife's despicable actions warranted a fitting conclusion that reflects real consequences. Instead, she's rewarded with a happy ending, leaving viewers questioning the moral compass of the narrative.

In the end, "My Wife’s Having an Affair This Week" betrayed the very essence of its narrative. It's an insult to those who value storytelling that respects character development and the consequences of one's actions. This isn't about a nuanced exploration of complex relationships; it's a travesty that glamourizes deceit and discounts the emotional investment of its audience.

What could have been a poignant portrayal of human frailty devolved into a glorification of betrayal. This show isn't a cautionary tale; it's a bitter taste of narrative manipulation that trivializes trust and commitment. In its final moments, it cemented itself as a masterclass in how not to conclude a story, leaving viewers like me questioning why we invested our time at all.

To be a good mother is not that easy....

I really liked the storyline of this drama. It made me reconsider my relationshipp with my own mother, it made me think about how much we children often forget about all the sacrifices our parents made for us... In today 's world, it is really not easy to raise a child, to give him proper eductaion not just instruction.
Parents are not perfect, they were not born parents, they learn along the way, they make mistakes, everybody makes mistakes, most important we need to acknowledge our mistakes and ask for forgiveness.

I loved the courage of the mother, the warmth of the villagers, the unconditionnal love between two lovers....
And last take home message, at least for me, to archieve revenge is not an easy task, are we really ready to deceive or leave behind our loved ones just to archieve justice? was it worth it? maybe yes, or maybe no.....

I actually struggled to finish this drama, i got bored somehow in the middle and i had to forced myself to finish it, they were also some unecessary characters that could have easily been taken out without it affecting the drama, hence the 8/10.

Unchanging Charm: Enjoying this Series for the Second Time

I'm revisiting this series for the second time, and it still hasn't disappointed me in any aspect. It's an absolute riot! 😂 I highly recommend it to everyone. The humor is just as infectious and laughter-inducing as it was when I first watched it. Back in 2017, I wasn't particularly into male-male main casting, even though this series is not explicitly a BL series. However, I could still sense their strong chemistry. Honestly, this series played a significant role in getting me into BL series. It's not surprising that the actors who took on the main roles have now become big names; their performances are truly authentic and impressive.

let's fly high and fall-

story wise, i like it so much where the male lead only has eyes for female lead. he chases her from the very beginning, so the plot is quite fast (later will be explained how he knew her in the past). on the other hand, shes not pushing him too hard, she cares with him.
besides, there are sooooo many steamy kisses!! aargh i love it🥰 the charm of ML and the beauty of FL really spoil me, their acting's very well. FL not the type of weak girl whom snaky girl can mess with.
I'd give it 9.5/10 up to eps 20 or 21 . i suggest u not to watch until the ending bcs its terrible to the point that i give it 0/10. 🤦‍♀️
so for me personally, i'll rewatch again in the future bcs their chemistry's so damn good. but will stop around eps 20 hhhh. overall for short length story, its worth watching!

Not as good as people say.

Duty after school is a subpar drama. If youre looking for something that 1. makes any sense, and 2. is serious, then I would not recommend this. The premise is really interesting but the execution is awful. The characters are unlikeable in the worst way and most of them show 0 development or awareness despite the things they go through. Their motivations are also really odd and dont really add up with what is going on around them. Basically they feel and are very surface-level, like someone wrote two paragraphs for each one and left it at that. Also they kept adding "funny" scenes that severely interrupted the flow and feel, especially because they were bizzarely edited with upbeat music despite the characters being in a literal warzone and fighting for their lives.

The worldbuilding is not very good either, things dont make much sense, the military act very strange and it makes it difficult to be immersed.

The acting was fine, thats about it.

(DO NOT be fooled into thinking this is ANYTHING like All Of Us Are Dead. It is NOT.)

the headline is just perfect the plot it just perfect.

I love the chemistry in them this couple should do more acting together they are so comfortable with each other but still waiting for happy ending the music is also my taste the music match with the movie so much I would rewatch this if it has a happy ending the story is just amazing for them so many kissing in each tribulation also every tribulation end with sad ness and mess but I still have it they try to hide their feelings even tho they still show it,CK in the white outfit and white hair is just my type, the outfit that they give CK THE ML is just perfect for him it matches him so well they also give the FL out the also matches with her she so pretty and everything she just matches the role, the age gap (in the movie) is just to much not my type she 47 younger than him overall was just perfect.

A Worthy Succesor

I liked this one even more than the original! The comedy is just as clever, the acting is just as good, and the commitment to the bit has only gotten stronger.
There is a touch more emotional depth to this one compared to its predecessor but that does nothing to detract from the punchy humour or to change the well-established format.
I also am an even bigger fan of this season's opening number than I was of the previous one. The heavily stylised greaser look just works really well, what can I say. Some of the segment transitions are also truly excellent this time around.

If you liked the first season and want more of exactly that, then you will love this. If you haven't watched the first season but want something short and highly entertaining to while away an hour or so, then this season also stands up really well on its own and I'd recommend giving it a shot.

Almost Emotional Abuse

I hate to rate this so low when the actors do such a good job with what they have to work with. I agree with the other reviews here, the growth from the last season feels lost. Season 2 keeps repeating the affection and communication issue with very little progress. The fact they still barely go as far as a kiss despite being two adults in a relationship for over 3 months is unrealistic and unbelievable. Akita constantly pushing Shin away, refusing basic intimacy or communication is borderline emotional abuse.

Don't miss this!!

This is the first variety show that kept me hooked on. This was an amazing experience and I felt like even I want to go to the place. The island was unbelievably gorgeous and all the tasks were so fresh. I loved every bit of this programme. I started this because of Kai as I am an ExoL and wanted him to win. But I loved every contestant. Park Na Rae, Lee Seung gi, Eun Ji won, Jo Bo ah, Kim Hee Chul and Kai were all incredible players. Watch this to see who won. The amount of competitiveness everyone has, the betrayals, the spirit, everything about this was good.
Watch this and I assure you that it would be worth your time and it would keep you fron watching others and hooked on to this. The place, sceneries, the cast, the tasks, each and everything about this was a breath of fresh air. You won't ever regret watching this! So take your Netflix acnt and binge watch it right now guyss!!

Straight forward romance

This drama gives us something most dramas do not, which is grown ups acting it grown ups. I for one get tired of mostly female leads acting like high school girls. Not knowing what they want, and being to needy. The female in this drama is independent and knows exactly who is is, does not need constant assurance from the male lead.

This drama has no clingyness at all, and the romance story is completely realistic. Also, this drama has a sexyness overload. The male lead is drop dead handsome and super sexy. He does give off a lot of play boy vibes. But not too much, that it will make you lose interest.
