The characters were a bit too comedic that it turns out childish to watchers like me. Though lessons are given to viewers it was not properly executed as a whole.
Not rewatchable as well.

Although the male lead is a chaebol, what I like is that they did not limit the flow of emotions, both with the lead characters and also the side characters. Want to applaud Sun-ah for playing Sam Soon and embracing her role that I could really see her flaws specifically in the physical aspect. I find her awkward with a slim body, though she is really originally a thin actress. She gained weight for this drama, and that is a committed actress.

Dropped........................
Looks like "Revolutionary Love" had more plot twists than an episode of a soap opera! I mean, three attempts and still couldn't get through it? That's some dedication right there. It's like ordering the same dish three times at a restaurant, hoping it'll taste better each time. The protagonist's transformation sounds like it needed a bit more seasoning—maybe a sprinkle of authenticity or a dash of character development. Going from a privileged person to a "champion of the people" is like trying to turn a cupcake into a superhero without the right ingredients.
And a predictable love triangle? Come on, writers, throw in a curveball! It's like playing chess with someone who only knows how to move the pawns.
The pacing issues sound like a real workout for your patience. I can almost see you checking the time, hoping for a superhero to swoop in and save the day, or at least bring some excitement.
At least the cinematography and production quality were on point. It's like having a delicious-looking meal that unfortunately tastes like cardboard. Presentation matters, but so does the substance!
And those attempts at humor—forced jokes are like trying to tickle yourself. It just doesn't quite hit the mark. Maybe they needed a comedy consultant to spice things up.
In the end, it seems like "Revolutionary Love" missed the mark. If only they had added a pinch of direction, a dollop of character development, and a splash of unexpected twists, it could have been a feast for the eyes and the heart.

One of the cute dramas especially dealing with parenthood and family. It has also some slice of life themes even though in a comedic type of portrayal. Although it has a cliche plot which is the norm in korean dramas before, still I like this drama. Both Eugene and Jae Won are great at their respective roles and the child is soooo cute. Overall, cute romance drama.

The first episode was really engaging for me but I think it drag out as it goes. I like that per episode there is a different storyline. There are stories that is about 2 episodes long but eventually the stories are for me unique. Maybe because it is a Thai drama which is so different from what I would usually watch. It's nice but there are episodes that I don't like. Hoping to see the second season soon if I had the time.

Although there is lacking in special effects especially the ‘action’ parts, I find it fine. I like also the sound effects, is appealing as I was watching. Although I already know the culprit even if it was not revealed, I still hope that it would not be her until the end, but sadly she is the one. More likely I’d be happy if the ending wasn’t like that but nevertheless it is justifiable. I will recommend this, especially those who had not encountered thailand dramas.

The main leads are attractive looking but lacking in acting skills. I find it a struggle to watch because the portrayal is lousy. The revelations in the end was a really good turning point of the drama, and I find it regretful since it is really a good drama. I hope a remake would be done with this either by a korean or a japanese, or a Filipino one that could give justice to the story.
Cute story but not well portrayed.

Overall a cute drama, with a comedic fluff thing. Still, I find the female lead frustrating, as a role. She had her different antics which I find annoying.
I would not rewatch since I'm not someone who rewatch a drama.......

I pretend I do not see it
Unfortunately it seems like this is one of those sequels I would prefer to forget about and likely will never watch again, except for maybe parts of that first episode and some scenes where the leads are just spending domestic time together. The chemistry between the leads is absolutely still there, and all the intimate moments are still beautifully shot and make you feel like you're intruding on something very private and meaningful.
As someone who absolutely despises infidelity plots, it was really difficult to even give this drama a chance, and the end result was exactly as I expected — infuriating. It's not only that I feel like we went through so many learning moments about communication in part 1 just to feel like the characters regressed to a worse place, but also that the side characters involved in the infidelity plot weren't enjoyable to watch at all. There was none of the chemistry the show tried to convince us of, and all of the deep moments or life lessons felt icky considering the circumstances.
There are far too many time jumps, which felt lazy and meant that emotions seemed to appear out of nowhere without proper build-up and forgiveness happened without feeling earned. The subtle visual symbolism and showing-not-telling was also absent, despite the cinematography still overall being great.
I feel like the only reason I still don't absolutely hate this to the point of a 1/10 is because there's just so much magic between the leads when they're on screen together and because the scenery is still gorgeous.

At first I really didn't like the female lead's role, she really just have a huge crush unto the male lead but as it goes on she grew on me. The actress just acted the role/character and I find her cute at the end of the series. Well, most likely the male lead is handsome but the acting is not it. Another factor that make me like the drama is the second couple alongside the main lead, though they are not the center of the drama, I like that it had little portions of their love story, cute.

I don't know I think 4 episodes is too short to tackle the story as a whole and the romance part is not as evident or as realistic since the romance development is not that seen.
I would not rewatch since I don't usually rewatch dramas.

The story for me is quite unto the teenager-ish feels to it, and honestly I find the guy a bit annoying, if I was the female lead I think I would feel the same way as her.
The transitions in the drama is pretty good as well. I was just not convinced with the romance part of the drama because all I could see is the friendship.

What I like about it is that it is really fast paced and that there are not so many fillers. Unnecessary parts is not shown, having a bit of a thrill side to it as well, I guess this installment is quite likeable.
Acting wise, not so sure. Quite awkward actors and actresses.

One thing I did like about the drama is the ureport segment part, which is new for me, and also you should really choose wise friends since they would really know how to determine between the wrong and right guy.
And I'm questioning the ending, why is it like this writers? AAAAAAAH. I hope the other UPrince Series is not like this.

Please don’t Disneyfy this beloved franchise, Mr Netflix
Edit: After watching 10 eps, I've revised this review (probably) for the final time. Enjoy!I was looking forward to this show with anticipation. The original series was one of my favourites.
I knew it won’t be the same as the original, so I am willing to cut it some slack. The start of the show is certainly different, but the young actress was so cute and earnest I'm willing to jump onboard even though it is questionable if the way she uses her powers is canon, but I’ll give it a hall pass for now.
I wished this is the only issue. There are many more. In fact, the only thing consistent with this show is how inconsistent it is. In the original series, the rule around the use and abuse of their special power is well established. However, not only is the FL using her power without a care. Her mother and grandmother also abuse it without a second thought. How can this be?
On top of that, they should be internet sensations considering how blatant they are, but they ain't. It is as if everything can be hushed up with the click of their manicured fingers. However, the narrative contradicts itself repeatedly.
While the new FL is refreshing in her straightforwardness at the start of the show, after a few episodes, her portrayal is borderline grating. She doesn’t so much deliver her lines but fire them out like a gatling gun. She also moves with an exaggerated gangliness. Why? Her one-note performance is wearing. It is one thing to call her naïve but time and again, the excuse is that she is from Mongolia. Geez, I hope they are not streaming this in Ulaanbaatar.
The other female leads are not much better. The mum swings between playing Batwoman and Crazy Rich Woman. She throws money around like confetti. Come to think of it, the whole plotline involving the grandma is superfluous. It just highlights how pathetic most of the male characters are but she brought nothing new to the table. She is too cringey to be an effective comedic relief.
There are too many plot holes to list but it pretty much comes down to whatever needs to happen, happens. It feels like narrative logic and good sense have both packed up and ran screaming from da hood. The writer-nim doubles down on this from ep.7 onwards. It is now in the "see no evil, hear no evil" territory.
It also feels hollow when the show tries to tackle serious topics. The drug abuse problem is marginalised because most of the victims are faceless canon fodders. Until it hits too close to home then everything pales into insignificance. Ditto, the fat shaming of the brother is gratuitous while ignoring the root cause of his condition.
By the half way mark, it feels like plots are products of brainstorming sessions after one too many soju bombs. There is so much going on. Subplots darts off in every direction, most are inconsequential but distract us from the A-plot. There is actually a very insightful scene when the assistant to Hwang Geum Joo asks if one of the antagonist will see through her deception. Her reply was, "They are stupider than you think." Is she talking about me?
It is telling that the only person I'm interested in after watching 10 eps is the main antagonist. It is never a good look when the viewer starts paying more attention to the bad guy(s). From my point of view, the 3 FL's are unrelatable, and to a varying degree, unlikeable. The young FL leaps out of tall buildings, runs faster than a speeding car and drinks poison for LOL's. Yet she skins her knees by tripping over her own feet. Why? Because the ML is there to fuss over her. This is not dumbing down, this is frontal lobotomy.
This brings me to the most poignant moment of this show. In ep.3, we have the original OTP appearing in a cameo. OMG, I could cry. Every interaction, gestures, banter reminded me how good was the original. It also dismisses any claims that this show is a reboot with a clean slate.
I watch with dismay what Disney is doing to Star Wars and the MCU. I know Netflix has jumped on the k-drama bandwagon in a big way. I can see this show being turned into a gaudy super hero franchise. Everything is loud and cartoon-y yet there is little substance behind the garish facade. We don't need more of this.
I'm not saying the show is totally unwatchable. There are the odd cute or funny moments. The plots will test your credulity though. If you are hoping that this spin-off will recreate the charm and engagement of the original then you will be sorely disappointed.
I hung on with grim determination for as long as I can, but it is getting too tough. Maybe I'll speed watch the last few eps for the sake of completeness later. Peace Out.
