Yaya & Mario, finally!!! ?

I'm a fan of lakorns and I've seen a lot of them especially lakorns which Yaya was the lead. I must say, this lakorn is very different from her other lakorns. The acting of Mario and Yaya were very natural especially the romantic scenes. It was not forced nor awkward like I've seen on some couples from other lakorns. They are a married couple here and they really have acted and convinced (that I almost forgot that both of them have their own respected partners in real life) the viewers.

For the story, it was a little bit dragging. I mean, if they were just honest or have talked about what really happened 7 years ago, then no revenge was gonna happened and both of them could have been saved from more heartaches.

I love the soudtrack from this lakorn, I've downloaded all of them already. 😁 I just wish the editors would stop playing weird instrumental music/sound effects or only the vocals during a romantic scene. For example, the scene where Yaya got drunk and Mario kissed her. A sound effect was played during the kiss and unfortunately, it just ruined the scene and the mood of the viewer.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this to my friends to watch👍👍 A nice drama with great acting and casts. 😊

For the undecided...do press play

With two episodes in..i can tell it covers greed, selfishness, ambitions, hardwork, corruption and unfairness in the sports world.
First episode definitely dragged heavily in the middle.
It had a good start, a snooze fest middle but heavily adrenaline pick up towards the ending.
They got the acting part in the bag so i have no complaints on that.
A heavy sports theme but with heartache stories behind the participants. Definitely feels like a reality on the constipated world. The world is ugly with no fairness and the first episode uphold the helplessness that those not in power live by.
Definitely have the viewers chest feeling stuffy.

One of the best BL'S made.

Wow... I think this is by far the best BL I've seen. The plot is very unique on it's own, it's not your standard BL like most are but has a story that exceeds my expectations by far. It's deep, it has a meaning and it's a beautiful yet cute story. The acting is amazing, the emotions are brought over so well, you can feel it off the screen. What stands out for me is that it's not a forced chemistry, most BLs have such a forced feeling to it between the leads, and this BL focuses on so much more then just them being / becoming and item. Don't get me wrong I adore skinship but I think it did add to the whole story they kept it to a minimum.

Loved this B-rate series

It's low budget, but honestly, I'm loving it. Why? FL is kicking the butt of the would-be bullies, i.e. girl who cheated with her ex-fiancé and ex-fiancé's mom. This is so refreshing! Usually, FLs are doormats for these bitchy bullies, but this FL is no push-over. I loved it when she slapped the bitch twice in the office. Some people might think FL is a bitch herself, but hey, Wei Wei started it by stealing FL's fiancé and design, and she just won't let it be - she keeps picking at FL. I also loved it when FL flung the tea in her ex-mother-in-law's face! Although ML's power is helpful, this girl is quite capable of taking down the bitches herself. YAY! So, refreshing from most C-drama FLs. So fun watching the bullies get their just desserts for once.

As for ML, he needs to eat some meat (he's tall and skinny), but I like the mischievous look he gets on his face and the winks he exchanges with FL. Although he's the CEO, he hasn't been overly cold or bossy, i.e. grabbing or shoving FL up against wall. FYI - he knows her from the past and is already smitten with her. The best kind of ML, in my opinion. I like that ML willingly helped FL with her wedding stunt, and I like that FL is willingly playing the role of wife with compensation, which makes their relationship less angsty or combative. They're more like partners.

Although plus, ML's mom has already accepted her son's choice, and mom is a powerful figure in the family just like ML so the two harpies can't use ML's mom against FL. Another refreshing detail - I get so tired of the control freak, nasty parent plot device.

I don't know what the rest of the episodes hold, but right now, I love this drama despite it's low budget. I can't give it a 10 because of the lower quality in terms of set, acting, etc., but sometimes you don't need a 10 star drama to keep you entertained and cheering. I think this is the best low budget short C-drama I've watched...other than 'Please, Don't Spoil Me', but then, they ruined that funny, little drama with the 3rd Season and its ending. Bleh.

UPDATE: Watched the whole thing and I loved it! For a low budget, B-rate series, it was very good! Mostly, I say this because of FL and ML. FL was not the typical C-drama FL - she had backbone and doesn't react like a lot of these wishy-washy FLs. Only once was I disappointed in her reaction and that's when the psycho chick crashes ML's love confession. She totally overreacted and didn't give ML an opportunity to explain. Fortunately, in the next episode, she starts acting like the smart and mature person I expected her to be. She really shines when the truth about their marriage comes out and the reporters swarms her and ML. Unlike most C-drama FLs, she doesn't run away or break it off with ML; no, she stands up to the gossip and supports ML. She even kisses him in front of the cameras for everyone to see. YAY! Screw the gossips! At this point, they become a supportive and emotionally solid couple who work together to take down the villains. As for ML, he's really cute - especially when he's interacting with his secretary while planning the confession. I could see both of these leads moving into higher budget films in the future. As for the supporting cast, they were better than most B-rate films, especially the secretary, but ML/FL make this series worth watching.

As someone who watched it from the first episode and waited for it every thursday and friday, i can tell that game of laws kept me going. There are a lot of action scenes which is the main reason i watched it for and it didn't disappoint me. As for the story, it became repetitive in the middle but still bearable to watch as everything still make sense. GOO never missed a single detail on the reality that people like those exist and at whatever cost, they'll do it with their way. Whether being the bad guy who don't care about everyone's life and the good guy taking the shortcut of saving everyone for the sake of humanity. So it's a 9/10 for me + The leads acting are so amazing !!! I’m one of the viewers that had been waiting for this lakorn to air since 2020, during “My Forever Sunshine” era. Game of Outlaws or Game Lah Torrachon, is simply an outstanding action-packed lakorn with bittersweet romance.

Too many episodes for the story

This story was done very effectively in the movie version. Sadly, I felt that this show had too many episodes. There were many, many times that I fast forwarded through scenes.

Acting: I really enjoyed all the actors, for the most part. Seo Hyun Jin, as usual, is very good. She's tremendously self-centered and over-the-top at the beginning, but eventually settles into her role. She has a sweet playfulness about her that I really enjoy. I have to say, I don't particularly care for Lee Min Ki as an actor in general. He's too much like an automaton. There is one scene where she smiles at him and he's completely gobsmacked, but in general, the fact that he remains expressionless is a problem for me. I didn't care for the second couple, she was completely unlikeable throughout. I liked both her agent and his secretary.

This show had the problem that it didn't really know what it wanted to be. Is it a comedy? A melodrama? Her disorder seemed to, for the most part, be played for laughs, but when it switched to seriousness I wasn't buying into it. His disorder is SO overused in K-dramas! I was loving the fact that he could recognize her in any body she was in, then they went and tipped that on its head. That bothered me as well.

It’s An Zhen’s story, but it can happen to anyone.

I can honestly say that this is not your typical romance drama. It is raw, real and heartbreaking.
But I think it’s one of the most beautiful stories in a long time that you can relate to.
It is a story about An Zhen, who is a dedicated housewife of 10 years to her husband, Rui Fei. They have 1 child together and it although it seemed perfect to everyone else, soon they had cracks and issues that destroyed their marriage. But at the core of the series, it is An Zhen’s story and it is her growth that has made her become the “fierce” wife.
People should definitely watch this drama!

Not that good!

It's 10 episodes too long, cut it in half! Feels like a copy from every other time-travel joseon era drama, especially "Queen In Hyun's Man (2012)" which shares great similarities. In comparison, "Queen In Hyun's Man (2012)" was better than this thin lukewarm copycat.

A lot of things are thrown at you and you are meant to accept them without questioning or whatsoever. Se Na is a generic pitiful villain with no character. Diluted story, poorly executed. The chemistry is often too awkward between them. Don't get me started on the script/romance/characters/editing, all of which were distasteful. It's a shame, these kind of drama are the ones that get popular. 4.75/10

Don't watch it from NETFLIX, they cut scenes from every episodes. Watch the TV or Blu-ray version.

A well written fictional drama of man’s point of view according to HIS experience

I have enjoyed my 6 episodes so far and I am excited to finish. I read some negative and seemingly immature reviews. Immature because you have to have respect for the art of a writer creating a portrait with words. I advise everyone who expresses a negative review to go back and rewatch it with a sense of fairness and open your mind to what the message truly is. Bra snapping on purpose or accidental happens in real life should we throw stones or work to address and correct the situation. Please remember not to bring down the writer’s PERSONAL and Professional life. Let your power of the pen be used for critiquing the drama and not for stabbing with non related jabs to the real man/woman. My2cents worth. Again, AWESOME. I loved this drama and I believe this is the beginning of Zhang Han becoming a great writer. Don’t be discouraged by negative reviews that’s clouded with personal attacks
shame on publishers who bank and stoke hateful comments. Waiting for more like this.

Saeguk with disney taste

If you like Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung watch it. If you are not that into them you may don't like this drama.

It's a saeguk where everything is too naive. I felt like everything was a bit "poor". The story was ok, the acting was ok.
If you want to watch a saeguk there are a lot of better choices. If you want to watch something similar but better you can just watch Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung.

If you still want to give this one a try you probably won't regret it. As I said, it's ok. Not great, just okay.

PD: Remarcable acting from Kwak Dong Yeon

Great Romcom

I liked it a lot more than I thought. It starts slow, FL is a noisy and stubborn person who can't maintain any job because she can tolerate injustice and she's famous for put like a million civilian complaints.
ML is a cold, stubborn, and inflexible dude who also has a great justice sense.
Once you know them and they start interacting the series starts to get better by the minute. Their chemistry was fantastic and even when the story it's a bit simple and you can expect most of the stuff that happens just the main couple make the series worth watching.

PD: Nana's laugh it's one of the fulfilling sounds that you can ear.
PD2: Small spoiler. When Nana waits for you to celebrate anything with her in your place and you ignore her as SML does in the first chapter you deserve nothing but pain.

Pretty amazing Rom-Com to watch!

I have always loved watching Rom-coms. Talking about the drama, the plot is pretty remarkable. And the plot twist, OMG! completely impossible to be guessed. I still can't believe how the writer fooled us into guessing who was the VP and the anonymous writer "TEN". Hwang Jung-Eum aka Kim Hye-Jin was incredibly amazing with her acting skills, expressions, and dialogue delivery and everything was so to the point. Cheers to her. Choi Si-Won the comic actor he was! Salute to him. park Seo-Joon, as always with his charming face and amazing acting skills kept us hooked on his character. What I loved the most was the friendship between Kim Hye-Jin and Min Ha-Ri. the trust and bond they shared were so pure and beautiful!
In all, it was a soothing kind of drama with many sweet messages to help us calm down after a nerve-wracking day.

First of all, let me say that it was a series that I loved watching. There were times when the level dropped. There were a lot of repetitions. Sometimes there were places where I said that was enough. Especially the bad woman ying yeng, the curator. I have never seen such a curator. Probably because he was in the heavens, he took root in the whole heavenly realm. It was very strange that someone in charge of the exhibits, which we will call the warehouseman, let someone who has a godly power leave what he did not do. Come on, you've finally sent this woman into exile. Mashallah, while the good ones were creeping up, this bad woman again took root in the nation. She kills whoever gets in her way. She is ruining. Others are watching. We passed that too. This woman is dead. She turned into an ice sculpture. He resurrected again and did evil. Oh, now I waited until the end of the series because this curator would come out from somewhere. I didn't particularly like these parts. I did not find it suitable for the series. I had a hard time understanding why. Then we should have said that even if you made a strong God, it was a strong personality you were dealing with. It didn't happen. Congratulations to the lone player. He portrayed evil so beautifully. I hope he doesn't get stuck on these roles. Other than that, I took it a little more normal. After all, it's a fantastic series. I especially liked the actors. It's a team of very good players. It was like a celebrity parade. When I saw the very good, very beautiful and handsome actors together, I wished it wouldn't end. I especially liked the young actors, especially Yang Zi, Chengi Yi, Ray Chang. I laughed a lot at Marshal Huo. Congratulations to Li Yu. Let's not miss our director together with the actors. I can say that the management was close to perfect. The view is magnificent as always. The ending did not satisfy me a bit, but it was as if they died and were reborn, but found each other again and were happy. Or something similar. It was as if it was left to the imagination of the audience. But I still get the result. It is satisfactory from my point of view. I expect such beautiful series from our directors and producers and new works with such a group of actors.

Surprising until the very end

SPOILERS ARE MARKED, READ WITH EASE

I've been waiting to write this review since somewhere around episode 10-12. Never seen such a well made drama in fantasy genre, so let me start to go into detail and be straight forward.

The story
Having a good plot doesn't mean viewers can't guess the ending, you can fully somewhat know the ending yet enjoy the show but having a plot and keeping the viewers at the edge of their seat until the very end is something else. At least I haven't encountered such show. The story was eye catching from the first episode. Characters were understandable since the very moment they were introduced. Their actions and way of logic was relatable. The story remained true to itself, clichés weren't involved, at least not to the point to ruin the unique story. I would say the story line kept getting better as time passed and the sub-plots were added smoothly. They all gracefully came together. Overall the story was unique and entertaining.

The characters
As I said before, characters were well made. They stayed true to themselves, their actions were based on the character NOT on the story. The character's choices made the story, there weren't out of character decisions just for the sake of plot.
For instance, (spoiler on this paragraph), Jung Uk's lack of motivation didn't magically disappear after Mu-Deok's entrance. As the love grew, we saw character development and it all made sense. Mu-Doek's character, unlike some opinions, was very well written and well used up until the end. (spoiler alert) For example the way she used Jung Uk to gain both of their powers, again, their love actually grew into them, it wasn't something to happen over night, yet I hope to see more of her own arc in the up coming season.

(spoiler ended.)

The action scenes were absolutely mind blowing, the casting was on point, the music was heartwarming, the only criticize I dare to make is the filler episodes, although it get back on track very soon.

I would say this drama was the best of 2022, probably be the best of 2023 if they maintain the same level of production in the next season, I keep my finger crossed and pray to have a well made 2nd season too.

You can watch it but you don't need to

It's interesting to see how a makeup company works. The story itself is pretty simple and I think what could have been a great drama ended just being ok. Don't get me wrong I think if you like a really good pretty boy chasing the girl that he likes and protecting her this drama it's made for you. To be honest I really enjoyed the side stories of the ML sisters and their acting than the main couple. It's watchable but doesn't expect great things out of it.

The first drama I watched of both Rowoon and Won Jin Ah. Both have decent acting but I found it hard to connect with both characters.

I can relate to what ML wants and his reasoning and actions and I like how the FL is portrayed on the situation that she's in.
But I felt SML was completely plain and bland, I can't understand his background and story and on top of that, I think it drowns the best acting in the show which is from Lee Joo Bin. I think she nailed that character and how it should be played but when both are in the same scene it was like she was all alone.
