Don't read the reviews ...it's a matter of personal taste
Thank God I didn’t listen to bad reviews here…Let me explain:
I’m writing this review as someone who liked the series so this is MY personal taste and MY certain need at the time. Most of the things viewers wrote are true, like slow rhythm, big pauses, common plot etc. Is that a reason for not watching this show? NO.
I saw all the above mentioned things BUT I also saw a lovable couple, nice acting, realistic scenes, unexpected dialogues (“Do you really thing we can be lovers?”), attention to details (real food preparations, all secondary actors put at least a minimum effort to actually act) and in general I saw a nice, easy going and (in some points) meaningful drama.
Yes it’s not the typical BL and I mean not a BL Drama where two boys meet and hate it’s other in episodes 1-3, trying to understand their feelings in episodes 4-10, kiss in episode 10, separate dramatically because of a misunderstanding or an evil ex in episode 11 and live happily ever after in the last episode….!!! That’s a typical BL.
BUT…I had the time to appreciate good acting, family matters, pursuit of dreams, friendship, all kinds of love (gay and straight), “evil” character with actual feelings and background and in general a GOOD DRAMA.
SO….it’s not the typical BL Drama BUT it is a Drama with a good acting, loveable main BL couple that will help you to relax, “realistic time” evolution of feelings and characters and a happy smile in the end because of the good work.
Of course there were plot issues in some points and some unnecessary scenes BUT in overall I truly truly enjoy it.

Track thanks to the English subtitles that I can improve and build up my English skills.
Liu Tao aka Xun Zhao is a strong, emotional and intelligent woman who has built a promising career in the fashion business. Gina Jin alias Elisa is a real woman who leads the fashion business as editor and has accompanied and supported her friend Liu Tao in the development of the fashion business with full confidence. Xun Zhao strives very hard to keep the good relationship with her son Hao Han despite her depression and to improve it. Hats off for fighting it in this line.
Yang Shuo aka Xiang Qian is a complicated businessman, husband and father of a son Hao Han. Not an easy marriage to her divorced wife Xun Zhao - Difficult appropriate considerations and organization for raising children between father and mother.
Gao Xiao Fei aka Vivian is a dangerous woman and rival to Elisa (Gina Jin) and Xun Zhao (Liu Tao). She tries with her possible and all means to steal the position as editor boss.
Fortunately, the team of employees realized in the end that Elisa and Xun Zhao had done everything right and organized. A beautiful and wonderful end to the successful cooperation in the fashion business.
I give a full 10 points: Liu Tao, Gina Jin and Zhou Zhi as well as Liu Duan Duan alias Hu Nan. I only give Yang Shuo 7 to 8 points.

Much better than the parent series!
I honestly don't remember the last time I had found a SP episode better than the series it originated from, 'cause normally it's the other way around and SP episodes tend to be, alas, complete let-downs.It could very well be that, not having liked the original dorama that much (I rated it 5 out of 10), I had set my expectations pretty low and was therefore positively surprised?
Or maybe that I was quite happy to see Morimoto Leo again (I dearly remembered him from the "Shomuni" franchise)?
Or perhaps that the writer was different than the one from the series, and this one is way better (considered how he managed to give some depths to those previously bidimensional characters)?
Whatever the reason, I must say I've really enjoyed this "Alibi Kuzushi Uketamawarimasu Tokubetsuhen"! ^__-

A love story
I bingewatched this entire drama in four days, completing it today. Overall, the drama has very good production values, except for the overly ambitious music editor running the loud BGM and loud singing continuously. The flashbacks finally kicked in toward the last half dozen episodes, pulling down the pace of the plot. There is story drag, as Xiao Qui pines after her lost love, but that reflects the pace of real life emotional conflict of the heart. I watched the young Godfrey Gao, and felt that this role was a premonition of his fate in 2019. What if they had written a happy ending, would he be alive today?I watched this drama with the same anticipation of the Kdrama, Winter Sonata. In short, Remembering LiChuan is the equivalent of Winter Sonata, in terms of the fated loved story between the main couple of the two dramas. The female leads' first love went far away unexpectedly, and they pined away for the soulmate. Years later, the first love reappeared, and the reunion was slow and agonizing. Leading up to the conclusion, the first love went away again, due to illness.
The casting was perfect for the primary couple (Godfrey Gao/Wang LiChuan and Jiao Jun Yan/ Xiao Qui) and the secondary couple (Andrew Lien/Wang Ji Chuan and Wang Ruo Xin/Ye Jing Wen). The supporting cast performed well at their jobs.

Not Good Enough
Japanese Drama "Momoiro Anzuiro Sakuro" is a ridiculous drama that has the potential to be romantic and, indeed, it does have some romantic moments, but the rest of it felt forced and forceful. The drama had two things that brings it down, the aggressive male lead and the childish female lead who let everyone use her as a pushover. It almost felt like the romance wasn't even her choice, rather, she just couldn't say no to the guy. Actually, she ask him to stop in many office scenes, but he just ignored her and tried to make it look like a game towards her. As for the romance with the second lead, it lucked chemistry right from the start. At least the performances were good. But the rest was just ridiculous.
So, overall, 1.5 out of 10.

A really nice drama, which highlights the strength of love, friendship, family, kindness
A really nice drama, which highlights the strength of love, friendship, family, kindness. The actors do a great job, create a real alchemy. Finally a Chinese drama that shows a lot of real kisses, hugs, realistic behaviors within the lead couple!
The context is deeply rooted in Chinese culture (hard work, only child, respect for elders, place of women and strong discrimination between men and women, particularly in the professional but also personal context).
This story is positive, feel-good, without length, and all the women will be moved by the ML, handsome, tenacious, attentive and ready to do anything to protect his wifei.

Good Enough
Japanese Drama "Rinko-san wa Shite Mitai" is an enjoyable drama. It has a predictable story, sure, but it's a fun ride with a couple that had enough chemistry to carry things through till the very finale.Probably the only problem this drama had, other than some cheesy twists, was that it needed an episode or two to give the couple more time onscreen. But, other than that, the drama had a nice pace and the timeline was well handled. The romance was also pretty sweet and had a lot of lovable moments. But the best thing this series had was the leading lady. She was fun, energetic and she did a great job with her performance. The rest of the cast was pretty enjoyable as well, but she was the real star of the drama.
So, overall, 8 out of 10.

Good enough
Surprisingly, Korean Drama "Romanced" is pretty enjoyable and well constructed. It creates the right atmosphere and has interesting cinematography and camera work right from the start.First of all, the story has a predictable plot, however, it was well made and enjoyable. The leads had chemistry and they worked well together. Unfortunately, the ending was rushed and needed more time to be properly handled. Nevertheless, the drama had the right pace and the cinematography was interesting too. That gave an edge to the story and created a fresh atmosphere.
Finally, the performances were enjoyable by everyone in the cast.
So, overall, 7.5 out of 10.

Interesting and realistic storyline
This drama is indeed interesting and realistic. In Asian context, many times, relationships will end even before they start due to the differences in family status, background etc. In this case, this is the first time I see a storyline of a relationship between a celebrity and a lady from triad background which in reality, definitely there are such things. However, six episodes are too short though to see the storyline develop in detail. It is good to see the younger generation artiste acting in this drama, like Eugenie, Cecilia etc and to see my childhood band Energy member, Shu Wei, act as a hooligan, that is even more interesting, though not a fan of profanities, his acting is superb! Despite having lots of fights in the series, the comedic parts actually balances it. And, this drama also introduce a possible BL couple, making it really nice and inclusive! The end of the show also hints at a Season 2 in which Tsao Yu Ning will be the antagonist. So, I certainly look forward to that. If you are looking for short series that offers a mix of emotions, sometimes serious, sometimes light-hearted, this is the drama to watch, provided that you can accept some coarse language.

I really can't watch Lakorns I guess...
First of all, I decided to give this one a try as my first Lakorn after reading some good reviews about it, as how there is a SENSIBLE FL in it(which is a rare case in lackorns) and ML(not a molester)....But if this is what you call 'excellent' in lackorns then I can't imagine watching Lakorns in future...like I found that the FL is most calm and mature in this lakorn but meh....
I understand that she do not trust men and blah blah blah...
Actually just tell me, she found that her boyfriend literally double timed her and made another woman pregnant and ditched her in the wedding....but she still want to help him and take care of him........*bruhhh*
And then you see her temper towards ML, firstly both of them had fault when they had one-night stand but she just threw all the blame on ML right off the bat without listening to anything...okayy...I understand.
She was given days to cool down her mind but she kept whining and accusing as how ML stole her most precious thing, a papparazi came to blackmail them and ML tried to make her understand the situation and give her a good solution but she again declined without listening to anything...
Actually the main problem is the consistency of relationship and mood swings of FL...at one moment you will think that now they will solve things calmly...one moment FL behaves all lovey-dovey and next second she just run off without listening to a single sentence...
She herself was a celeb so she must know that how papparazis and media are in creating scandalous situations but she just run off, she could trust any men other than ML actually...I was wondering how was she even able to handle such a large company cause all I could see a woman pretending to be strong and trying to gather needless sympathy from others.
Like she is no. 1 celeb with a massive inheritance...but she is clinging to a scum man like he is some type of samaritan...the dude cannot do anything if her mother stops him...he made another girl pregnant while being in relationship and then ditched her on wedding...but even then we are being shown as how considerate and good man is he....wtf??!
Hah...I needed to vent these frustrations...anyways I can't seriously watch lakorns....cdrama and kdrama ftw!

Another let down:(
This is the 2nd Leo Luo Yun Xi drama that I dropped within a few months. The other was Broker. I’m sorry but Cheng Xiao just cannot act (even in Falling into your smile). Her face is expressionless, and unfortunately there was hardly any chemistry between the two leads. The storyline is quite interesting, but I was just too annoyed with the uncle Huo Jian. Why does he have to know every single detail about their lives, look into all the rooms in his nephew’s apartment, must know their exact whereabouts and have an explanation given to him? I mean jeez... that’s just ridiculous. Talk about micro managing and controlling.
The music background is really good though. Highly modern and sophisticated and suits the mood of each scene. But unfortunately I don’t think I will continue this. :(

Just like any other rom-com , but there is something new that will pull u into it.
When it first started it’s just like any other series I’m not that interested about it.. but as the story progressed , the development of characters is too good. Those subtle changes and improvements they mention in any human relationship are on point. May be this is the first time I didn’t hate any character in the series... the guy who is being judgmental about gays also didn’t made me mad because the writers carefully conveyed the mindset of people we find everywhere in society where we can’t ignore. What I really liked about the series is the depiction of feelings of the characters .. kudos to the director and writers. OST is just awesome and it’s on my playlist now. Coming to the actors, wow! Everyone did splendid job. Generally I don’t like when they do overacting in the name of comedy but Aoki expressions are not over the top but still cute and funny. I really love when he’s shy or flustered and go all giggly . How can he be both handsome and pretty. Aida - Hashimoto couple are cute and lovable but I really like Aoki-Hashimoto friendship. Ida’s character development towards the end is good , a 16-17 yr old guy realising what like is ... accepting it....what love is!!! I wish there’s another season just to see how Ida changes in future.
P.s : how could I forget to throw some appreciation to “the Cupid - sensei” and “the Cupid - eraser”.

Republican Drama that I actually really like! Not draggy n superb casts!
What I like:- The casts! They did a good job in casting the actors, i like the mainleads n their friends... the villains also did their part... lots of people in this drama, even the cameos r familiar looking people that u often see in other good C-dramas...
- I like the leads’ characters, esp FL, she is so smart n independent, not the damsel in the distress type... yes ML helps her a lot by protecting her in secret, but she is still a brave person that doesn’t let people bully her... i also like ML, he is super smart n sometimes even cunning, but to be in his position n to protect everybody while dealing with the villains, it’s just something he needs to be to get the job done n IMO the actor played his role perfectly...
- The main leads’ chems is good... even from the start of the bickering till their happy ending, u can tell the progress of their relationship, not that slowburn, but not that fast either, it fits perfectly for me (they officially got together in eps17 I think)... n their relationship is just so good n healthy, they communicate n share everything... they somehow understand each other so well, that even in one bit angsty part when ML kinda being a jerk to FL n pushed her away to protect her, FL foundout why he did it n stood by him till the end...
- The SML looks so good in his uniform! Haha... I was a bit in dilemma at first coz he is just such a nice n standup guy who looks so dashing, who wouldn’t wannabe with him? But unfortunately for him, he was born as his dad’ son n his dad is the main villain who did most of the bad things in this drama, including the tragedies involving FL’s fam... plus eventhough he is such a gentleman in all aspects, he could barely stand up against his father, at least until the last part of the drama... IMO he also nailed his role, especially as a dilemmatic sad boy...
- The story n the plot is good... I like how the leads always work side by side from the start till the end... It doesn’t drag n I barely skip any scenes (just some angsty scenes between eps28-32)... n it’s a HE for almost all the good guys...
- I like the set, the wardrobes n the OST... it’s a Republican Drama, the genre that I rarely watch, but it’s just an enjoyable watch...
What I’m not too satisfied with:
- Why Tan Si dies? I cried when it happened... he deserves to have a good ending...
- That GY’s death is necessary I know, but that’s also such a sad thing... she n that funny friend also deserves a happy time together...
- I just don’t believe that all 3 evil warlords could have 3 nice n respectable sons... since the mothers weren’t in the picture I think, it means the dads raised them somehow n all 3 bestfriends turns out good? Don’t get me wrong, I like all 3 of them as characters n their developments, but IMO the possibility of that happens is just so unlikely...
- The ML’s sis... I know she is cute sometimes, but as character she is just mostly annoying... all thru the drama she just does almost nothing n only chasing PS... I know she finally got him, but to achieve that she is absent from school n even quit school for sometimes, then she moved to Beijing for him while doing nothing... she has almost no development n no important plot beside supposedly changing PS in a way... so yeah, I don’t hate her character, but I can’t say that I like her either...
Anyway, I really like this Republican Drama... superb casts, it has short angsty part, almost no misunderstanding coz FL is smart, not draggy, n happy ending for almost all good characters... I recommend this drama, just try it, u won’t regret it n will def enjoy it like me...
