many magical thing happen here
Waiting for that OG drama to be finished decided to watch this, another seven tan drama. This drama surpass my expectation, I really having fun watch this drama.Ok many magical thing happen here, magical & sometimes quite funny but sometimes just plainly ridiculous just for the sake of funny scene or just old trope or the most ridiculous just to make our actress & actor still good looking.. hoho... Let me explain in below.
Here the list:
* The most ridiculous magical thing that happen through out the drama is..... all of our swimmer cast hair almost always still intact & dry after just come out of the swimming pool... They come out of the swimming pool, put on their training uniform & the hair is dry.,... Especially Qi Rui Feng (RF), sometimes his hair even already gel ready. Magic right... hahaha...
* in ep 9 when Yun Duo (YD) have to sleep in boys dorm for the night, Tang Yi Bai (YB) & RF have to sleep in another room, ok that makes sense, the one that doesn't makes sense is to let 2 boys sleep in the 1 bed together, while it's the fact that they have BUNK BED & the upside of the bed is empty.... Hahaha... They do that just for the funny & old trope in the morning....
* most the friendship have trouble just for the sake of opposite sex, like YD & Cheng Mei (CM) have problem just because Lin Zi or Ou Yang Heng & YB just because Lin Sang & the problem relatively easy to solved, especially between YD & CM, if what CM do to YD happen to me I'll not gonna so easy forgive CM no matter how close I am to CM, how can I trust her ever again...
* The just wake up Lin Sang, after coma for 4 year, can just casually walk around, even until YD office, but in the next scene we see she must using wheel chair & must train her body too...
What I like:
+ I really like how instantly YD & YB fall in love in here. From the first scene they eyes already tell us love & admiration. Tan Song Yun & Xiong Zi Qi chemistry quite fit, I can imagine they as a couple.
+ I really like our second couple. RF & Xiang Yang Yang is one funny couple. They are the classic couple, tease each other but also the best supporter & protector for each other
+ the quote: many thing would become better with the time, but only regrets won't be disappear with time
+ YB mom is so funny, but unfortunately she disappear in the some last episode... :(
+ Tan Song Yun costume quite cute & pretty. I sometimes not notice the costume that our cast wear through out the drama, but here her dress quite catch my attention.
Overall I quite happy to find this drama. Sometimes old drama is better than new one. :p

It's realistic but not, at the same time.
So far so great; it's really an amazing thriller. It's like zombies but make it more realistic and there's only one, single officer trying to save the world. It makes sense and follows general logic, but also doesn't in many places. What itches me most is how almost nobody in an entire building other than three police officers and a little girl understand the gravity of the issue. Now, obviously we need one of the residents to mess things up for others for the dynamics but I absolutely hate how literally everyone is so non-serious about a mad person disease, but then again I enjoy when they get in trouble and I go "See, I told ya this would happen!". If things like this don't itch you, it is the pitch perfect apocalyptic drama with, in my opinion, loads of survival skills if you take note. Was this review helpful to you?
I`m not a mother,but I feel suffocated
This drama has changed some viewpoints I thought were snuggly cemented in my brain. It made sure to skillfully poke, pry and lay groundwork for each and every misconception I might`ve garnered in my 24 years of existence when it comes to psychosis, parenting and mothers` roles in today`s society. And it never let up,giving me room to breathe and think. It`s an amazing work of art.To be completely frank, even 36 hours after finishing this mind changing programme,I still do not know where I stand on questions it poses regarding relationships, dependence and children in general. But,I always say this whenever someone asks me why Japanese dramas don`t garner as much success as Korean dramas:For every ten great Korean dramas, there is one metamorphic Japanese drama whose premise cannot be replicated or bettered. This is that one Japanese drama.I cannot, for the life of me,think of one other country who`d try and nail this plotline. It made me feel sad, angry, stressed out, disgusted, hopeful and wary of human condition. There were no monsters in this title and yet I had the most adverse reaction to those whom I`m supposed to feel closest to.Humans.What's more interesting,I myself started remembering incidents from my childhood which could be seen as eerily similar, especially when it comes to my father. Thus, that feeling of captivity within your own home amplified with each passing second.
Not only has it nailed the atmosphere, the acting was just as appropriately uncanny and slimy, when need be.Sometimes I didn`t agree with Risako, most times I`ve recognized the gaslighting patterns of her husband and,due to extremely clever editing, sympathized with other mothers, recognizing their agony along the way. This does not mean my views were broken down when it comes to crime and punishment, however, they were adjusted in order to accept the story I was presented with.
As usual, whenever I start listing off the positives,I always like to thank the producers, the writers and overall staff whose help led to us being able to watch and discuss this drama. And I am especially thankful that they were able to make something like this.Because for some, this means the world and beyond.Aside from adroit mood, acting and plot I`ve mentioned, throughout this drama, there is a slim thread of realistic understanding of different mental ailments such as overbearing coddling and helicopter parents,to small aggressions that permeate with each new generation. That is the face of patriarchal society some would like to keep and this drama questions that validity as well.In a system where frail minds are pitted against those who eat at them,is it that much of a surprise when psychotic behavior appears? It does not outwardly offers a viable answer, but it`s important enough that it asks.It sheds light on a topic few are brave enough to mention.THIS is courageous and risky, but in my opinion,it pays off.And boy, does it shed light on the reasons leading to unimaginable tragedies. As a person with next to no experience in the field this show tackles,I feel more informed than if I was to opt for a more desensitised form of learning. When it comes to this,at least.
Finally, the name itself "Saka no Tochu no Ie" - which translates to "A House on the Slope" is a perfect amalgamation for the scope of trials each of these characters have to face. And it`s a great, picturesque title to go along with the themes this drama presents. The reason why I decided against including spoilers in my review(when otherwise I`d done that) is rather simple.Because this drama is an experience. While I don`t think knowing the full story would in any way spoil your fun,or demystify the intrigue it unanimously holds.I would still go into this drama as blindly as I can, because it deserves it.It truly does.
A tough, masterful watch that`ll keep your mind occupied for days is how I would simply describe this drama to literally anyone. So go watch it MINDFULLY,take breaks if you need to and I`m also sure you would learn something about yourself you haven`t before.

I cried a bucket!
I initially though this was just a typical romance drama. But after watching the first episode. I realised it was about a real event that happened in Korea. Episode 1 was a little boring as I was still trying to grasp the story. I am so glad I decided to continue watching. The pace picked up and storyline got better with every episode.I’m also glad that there were no unnecessary scene and it was well pace with 12 episode.
The last episode made me cry a bucket. I totally love how they slowly built up the emotion and the next thing I knew, I was crying a bucket. ???
This show also has the power to make you feel like you are part of the drama and that you could feel how the characters are feeling. Super amazing!
DEFINITELY WORTH A WATCH!!! I will definitely want to rewatch !

True Love and Good Food
Omg i love this show.. I found it better than the original K Drama My Lovely Sam. Soon. I binged watched it in 2 days unable to shut down and watch anything else. Busaba is one of the best heroines I have seen in any K Drama C Drama or Lakorn. She is sweet kind and vulnerable but also strong and feisty and doesn't take crap from anyone. I love the way she could answer back and not now her head down like a victim in some of these dramas. The ML Saran is such a cutey with an amazing smile. I loved the way he looked at Busaba not realising he was falling in love. Busaba doesn't conform to the typical beauty standard yet she was happy with the way she looked and Saran loved her for the way she looked not expecting her to change or fit into the image of what society says beautiful . Although actually I thought she was beautiful. She is a really good role model with an important message that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and beauty comes from within and very importantly.... you don't need to change yourself to make someone love you. The chemistry between the two was amazing almost as if they were a couple in real life. Those kisses.... all i can say is woww. The storys backdrop of showcasing Thai Cusine made want to run into the kitchen and start attempting to cook some yummy Thai food like Busaba. There were even some recipes in the show that had me trying to memorise them lol. This is a must watch for fans of romantic comedies and its become one of my all time favs. Can't wait to rewatch. Was this review helpful to you?
ADDICTION
How does one move on after such drama? How does one move on after watching Joon Hee? Is he not a real character!!!!! I've watched him before but not as a main role. Now I can't move on! I don't know if I should watch another drama with him in it or just move on and look for a whole new drama. Like he left such an impression on me. His name, his smile, his acting, his tender heart, the way he loved her. Like everything about him left an impression. Those moments at the elevator were my favorite tooWas this review helpful to you?

7 Project, 4 Watchable
An impromptu review of each episode and how I think you should only watch certain eps of this series.1: (Would you be my love?)Glad to be seeing Earth again in a series! He's so good. Cute story, but of course I'll want more out of them. Which we won't get lol (update we actually will). Though this is much much better than "Close Friend" for sure! More in line with "Y Destiny". Though it won't be as strong as "Y Destiny" I'm sure (correct). WATCH
2: (Rhythms Heart) This was cute. Intertwining an lgbtq story with a hetero one was interesting. Glad to see Yacht in a leading role. WATCH
3: (Remember) About time we got a GL storyline! They are much harder to find and it saddens me. We love a hair change, so pretty. Though why don't we get a happy ending for the GL? I mean it's open to more happiness, but there is such a bias between BL and GL. I'm fine with a "realistic" storyline but it needs to be done more in BL too then. WATCH (but beware its not a happy ending)
4 (once upon a time): This one I'm excited about. We haven't seen Boun and Prem since UWMA and their side series got delayed! These 2 are adorable. I hate that Boun's hair is dark now (I love him blonde) but those glasses are a must! He looks so cute! Oh damn we're starting off with a kiss!? okay then. This story is so sad but oh so real to those in the closet. I appreciate the acting is really solid, but did we need 2 sad endings back-to-back? No. WATCH (but again beware for not happy ending)
5: (Breakup Zone) Eww we hate cocky Can lol even if he's not playing Can. Maybe it's not about you Ryu! Tf this character is so whiny, he always plays whiny characters. Can he (Plan) improve his kissing too please!? I've only seen him do decent kissing scenes in LBC season 1 and it's gotten worse over time for some reason. DON'T WATCH
6: (VS Love): so overly dramatic lol. DON'T WATCH
7: (My puppy love) I forgot about this show, but I do love Perth! He didn't save this episode though sadly. I'm also detached from this series completely lol. DON'T WATCH (but Perth deserves all the love he can get!)

'A Suspense filled with Mystery and Thriller Drama'
I have watched this drama completely . The actress SEO YE-JI and actor KIM SOO-HYUN acting were perfect for their role . The journey of healing and learning of each of the characters from the main leads to the various patients is very moving. Admirably tasteful way to deal with mental and emotional issues on screen. The central love story is so involving because their pain feels profound. The incomparable Seo Ye Ji as writer Ko Moon-young is unforgettable - strong and vulnerable, finally a real step forward for K drama heroines. Enjoy each sentence she utters in her signature low voice. She has some memorable and often hilarious dialogue. A far cry from the Cinderella type heroines of early melodramas. And her outfits are stunning - perfectly suited to her tiny waist. Kim Soo-hyun is well cast as caregiver Moon Gang-tae. He isn't a larger than life hero but instead a man with pain and burdens. He looks more mature here. The pairing of the two leads is right. Oh Jung-se gives a likable convincing performance as autistic Moon Sang-tae, In less capable hands the character could have been annoying or tiresome but he made the brotherly relationship very touching. The production values are very high. From the well integrated animation of the stories to the quirky Tim Burton style house, it all has a high quality feature film standard feel to it. To cap it all off the ending is a good and satisfying one. Really there is no need to find any error. I randomly chose to watch this drama. But I found it amazing so I continued watching . The more episodes I watched , it became more and more thriller. As many episodes I went ,there were suspenses. At some time the story had a mystery which was solved at last. Make sure to watch this drama .Was this review helpful to you?
A truly unforgettable experience.
I was putting off this show for a long time because it was a family drama, and I believed it was overhyped, but oh man, I was utterly wrong. It's such a bittersweet story about youth and relationships; it made me tear up almost every episode. I do have certain parts I didn't like; I was not a fan of the romance. Also, not going to lie; I did watch on 1.5x after episode 15.Episode 20 made me cry my eyes out like a baby; the last 10 minutes give you a painful but sweet closure to the beautiful story about the Ssangmundong neighbourhood. Sounds funny coming from a 19-year-old, but it makes you want to sit back and think about your childhood. A very memorable experience overall.
I love the title 'Reply 1988', it wasn't until the last 10 minutes of the show that I understood what it meant. Bonus is the music; I added so many songs to my playlist after watching the drama!

It Got Better
So, I loved the first season and watched this one soon after. On ther first episode, we can see that some time has passed since the first one's events and the dynamics among the Golden Time Team is different - we can also see some new faces. At first, I thought I wouldn't like it, it felt too different somehow... boy, was I wrong. On the second episode I was already sold and by the third I was completely OBSESSED!This here, all the interections in the team is what I was looking for and did not know. Do Kang Woo (Lee Jin Wook) won my heart and the CHEMISTRY with Kang Kwon Joon (Lee Ha Na) is AMAZING. (Mind you that this drama does not have any romance whatsoever, BUT, in my head, they kind of fell in love and I ship them hard lol)
The serial killer - following the awesomeness from the first season - is again interesting. Kwon Yool did an incredible job. His character really got on my nerves and we still need some answers (season 3, here I come).
And the pacing, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! It was intriguing, thrilling and emotional at the same time. The "side cases" were all of important themes - sad, cruel, but so so important!
Voice is an amazing drama, the concept is great and it has become one of my favorites! Kang Kwon Joon (Lee Ha Na) is still my queen, her character is everything to me <3
> I'm starting season 3 ASAP!! I NEED ANSWERS!

Fun show with likable characters, basic story
I watched this show mostly in the times of the day, where the sun is still visible, if not when it's burning everything under it, because it fits this show's overall mood, very childish. This show practically revolves around the daughter character, and her exploits to find a woman to force into her dad for marriage. As she lost her mother, she seeks to find a replacement for her and her father.I don't know what to say other than, this is just some feel good show about a father and daughter bonding, while the daughter does all of the things children do, and regularly forcing her dad to marry someone, as I said before, this show has likeable characters, even the people I wouldn't consider normal, there has a basic conflict in the final episodes, but it's pretty much obvious how it's gonna end. The cast fits they're roles really well, nothing feels out of place. The music was a nice touch to the show and it really blends well with the show, even though it's simple, as the show is. 7/10.

The Devil Judge - Words for coolness
It finally happened. I liked this series so much that I will give it the score 10/10. First time ever. After watching the show, what I realized was that it has a great re-watch value because you know how it ends. I mean you can watch the show with open eyes after your mind has been blown. You see most of the characters differently and you can even more focus on the details. In Wiki this show has a rating of 9.8! Like wow.The Devil Judge is a show where you really need to focus on the characters and what is happening. It is weird how people like different things and characters in it, but I think that is good. It means the show can deliver for so many people. Kang Yo Han’s character and his story is the main highlight. He has a relationship with all the characters and Ji Sung made the character glow. I would put a lot of praising adjectives in here but the list would be soooooo long. I mean, he was GREAT. In the story you need to read between the lines and that goes for Yo Han too.
Of course, every series have their own mishaps, but those did not change my opinion about it. I enjoyed the show immensely. Also the episode names were cool. Imagine that?
Episode list
1. Star Judge (스타판사)
2. Prey and Hunter (사냥감과 사냥꾼)
3. The Secret Room (비밀의 방)
4. Yo-han’s Cross (요한의 십자가)
5. Scissor Hands (가위손)
6. Achille’s Heel (아킬레스건)
7. Dreams Shall Come True (꿈은 이루어진다)
8. Resistance (레지스탕스)
9. Batman and Robin (배트맨과 로빈)
10. Frankenstein (프랑켄슈타인)
11. Macbeth (맥베스)
12. I Hope You Are Lonely (네가 외로웠으면 좋겠어)
13. The Hunger Games (헝거게임)
14. King of the Frogs (개구리들의 왕)
15. Medea (메데이아)
16. The Devil Judge? (악마판사?)
Final score:
Story 10
Acting/Cast 10
Music 11+
Cinematography/Directing 11+
Costumes 10
Action 10
Coolness factor 10
2 ML chemistry 11+
(What ever way you see it. Friends, colleagues, father/son, brothers or bromance. They all work)
Rewatch Value 9
BTS clips 10
Overall score 10/10
So yeah, rating didn’t change after finishing the show. Can you tell, that I really liked it? ??

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
Okay so I’m not usually one for dark thriller’s but this one had me hooked. There were parts that I wanted to skip over (generally too much rehashing) but overall I would definitely watch this one again. KYK was amazing as usual as was the rest of the cast. OMG I cannot say it enough this was a top notch piece. The romance side is short lived but revived and the character development throughout is incredible to watch. I would most definitely recommend this one and it has become one of my favourites I think. Was this review helpful to you?

It's good at first with conflict, but it's quite cliche at the end. I'm dissapointed with the final episode because my two couple are torn apart. I felt hurt after watching it. It isn't bad, but something went wrong from my point. If just the story changes, there're no characters gonna hurt in this drama. They all deserved love and caring. I feel bad for the ones who got dumped. Even at the end in the drama tried to make it happy, but we all know it's not. It's good at first with conflict, but it's quite cliche at the end.
