Lee dong min is alive and im 100 percent sure

Like think about it. A man that worked for mercenaries for years is a good planner and a good fighter is clever and also owns a weapon shop without anyone knowing his whole life believed that jian was kidnapped and even he did lets just suppose he did do you really think he believed when bae said that they will release jian after he commits suicide. Like come on. I want him alove for sure and another fact is to kill bale he is suppose to be alive i think he is alive and that is going to be the plot twist when everyone thought that he died he actually didn’t and think the only call he made before he died was to pasin no on else so why did minhye said that he asked her to come. And the smirk when he called pasin and the way he only said that "pasin you dint have to pay me back" aahhahahhhhh i really hope he is alive.

Mi Kdrama favorito, lo amé! ♡︎

Recomiendo mucho!

Love endures??

This drama is very good. There are so many lessons that can be learned from a friendship that was so beautiful and brought tears to my eyes when Huang Yingzi found it difficult to accept. the fact that he has lost his best friend yifei, I can also feel the loss??
Likewise with Jiang Yi who loves Ying Zi so much and does many things for Ying Zi
and many more ...
I hope the five of them live happily at the end of the story ???
Honestly, I really want to be like Huang Yingzi, loved by her friends and vice versa..

This is trusting between couple ...

I started this drama with no expectations Because I do not usually watch K dramas But when I completed first episode, I know that I've found the gem ?? ...
This is one of those dramas where you can't predict what happens next which is both frustrating and exciting at the same time. Flower of Evil gets better and better with each episode. Never once was I bored while watching this, every moment was thrilling. It exceeded my expectations and I loved every second of it!
I really love the way that ML did not even realise how hard he fell for our FL ...
The two main leads are phenomenal. Lee Joongi's acting is incredible, Moon Chaewon too, she performed her character very well and at times I could almost feel what she was feeling, it was that good. This is one of my all time favourite pairings in a drama, their chemistry and development is amazing!!
Osts are at point , whenever it starts i could not stop crying ...

IN SHORT:
It's an amazing humane drama with an incredibly beautiful narrative. The dialogues are so well versed they hit right into the heart! The quiet heartwarming background piano (sometimes violin mixed too) makes the past flashbacks scenes very alluring and majestic. Those first scenes (the flashbacks) are one of my top favorite bits of each episode!

Nothing has made me cry like this in years!
I never rewatch shows normally, but I've gone back to this not once but twice since finishing it - I just wish it was longer.
The world feels so rich, the actors have amazing chemistry and give such raw performances you can't help but feel for the characters with your whole heart.
It switches seamlessly from being a cute love story to Black Mirror style sci-fi horror with some truly terrifying moments and resolves well, though there are many mysteries left when you look at the details.

A hidden gem : Robin Hood with a Twist

I went into this drama with no expectations, however, I quickly realized why it is so famous in Korea: These dramas incorporate comedy and mystery, however the most impactful of them all was romance, which wasn't even enlisted as a main genre.

The drama is so good, with each episode it just keeps getting better and better:

- Plot: I felt like the female lead would be shadowed by the male lead, however, this drama proved me wrong!

The female lead is a total badass, helping people like Robin Hood. Matter of fact, the twists and turns that it has will keep you watching! Also, omg the chemistry between the leads was AMAZING! Why is it always the non-romance drama that makes such a strong impression?! I'm shocked this is not listed as romance as that's how good it was.

The drama was also very educational as it brought light to the heartbreaking ways that women were treated throughout history, especially widows. And I liked that despite those harsh conditions, the female leads were still able to become strong and fight to make the world a better place.

- Actings: I do not know who these actors were, but honestly, these dramas make me fall in love with all of them (especially the female lead and male leads).

Both leads did a good job of portraying their characters and were not overshadowed by one another. The age gap did not bother me at all. Also, the way they were looking at each other with their eyes?! Got me feeling butterflies and they hadn't even kissed.

The other actors also did a great job at portraying the characters, and I was not expecting the villain to be who he was?! The way the mother-in-law treated her made me so mad!

The pacing, chemistry, the plot keep you at your edge, and with each episode, the drama keeps getting better and better. Truly a hidden gem that deserves a lot more recognition. So honestly, go ahead and give it a watch!!

Annoying acting of cast which ruined the show

My habit is that, even if I don't like the show I still try some episodes before dropping it , and for chen zhe yuan i tried 10 episodes but this drama is really not captivating for me at all ...
i really do not like acting of casts except for tianhe and ziying , and this drama is full of elders who seems upright and righteous but are demons from inside , i really hate these kinds of elders who uses their disciples for their own good ...
i do not even like the concept that Tianhe 's father died before teaching his son some basic rules for living ...he is the worst father i have seen . His father at least told him to not believe in anyone from outside world and never leave the mountains but how foolishly he got tricked by lingsha ...
the character of lingsha is on my nerve , in ep 6 she wants immortality and for this she can even sacrifice her friends ... what kind of mentality is this ... even if she has some backstory but she has no right to decieve other people ...
even the couple in this drama are not fixed
Although CGI is good but i also do not like two colours in tianhe eyes ...

this drama is very much reminds me of snow eagle lord - very powerful ML whose powers are hidden , annoying elders , disciples got punished according to useless rules , and many more similarity ...

If the acting is better , i will definitely watch it ...but i do not want to continue when i know it is going to be a sad ending ...

Humour & Heart That Grows Slowly

Found via Netflix Australia. Initially I dropped this after Episode 1 but returned a few days later. I LOVED it. Would very much like to see a second season with deeper character development. Part legal, part detective show ... All actors are all very charming, entire show is populated with gentle humour and pace is brisk. Legal topics are quirky and courtroom dramas restrained.
As the show develops, the audience learns of the various vulnerabilities of the protagonists. I believe there is potential for an intriguing love triangle. In particular, I enjoyed the show's suburban setting. This made a refreshing change from the typical "bright lights, big city" legal dramas. There are car chases, runs through the street, but also a great many plot twists and fabulous funny moments and great musical score to match the fast pace. The show's director has exercised appropriate degrees of intensity and restraint.
This series reminded me of an old 1980s show, "Remington Steele" where Pierce Brosnan assisted a lady detective, where he appeared to be the front of the business but in truth they were an equal team.
I would dearly love to see a Season 2 made, but as this was made in 2022, there not much hope. Well worth watching ... Vote UP and let folks know you want more!

Love, rest, and heal : A path to overcoming Depression

This drama blends comedy, romance, and mental health issues to give a masterpiece; It also shows the importance of taking care of yourself and your mental health, which is a much-needed message that everyone needs to hear.

The beginning was slow, however, the drama quickly began to quick up in the following episodes; the story is interesting, and you see yourself watching in anticipation of what's going to happen in the following episodes.

- Plot: So far, the plot is set up nicely and as the episodes progress, you can see the character's growth as well as the slow healing process. The past and the presence flashbacks scenes are well down and do not become annoying, instead are a delightful watch.

Also, I liked that both characters were going through something that they helped one another heal and grow; instead of one lead following around the other "to help them" both of the leads were actively trying to help one another and saw each other at their lowest as they healed together.

The genre of comedy and romance are well balanced along with addressing important mental health issues like healing through depression. I know I will be going back and rewatching this drama in the future.

- Acting: This drama is Park Shin-Hye's return to the screen and she's doing an amazing job acting alongside Hyung Sik. They pulled off those high school outfits and did not look as if they aged since they saw each other 11 years ago!

Also, the kissing scene has not come back yet, but they have done such a good job at acting, I wouldn't mind if the kissing scenes were awful.

- Music: The music gives very nostalgic feelings and adds warmth to the drama, instead of taking away from it. Sometimes, we see the music taking over the drama and distracting us from watching, but in this drama, the music did not do that, instead added to it.

Overall, this drama is a light-hearted watch with important themes regarding mental health. Watching them grow and heal, truly does heal something within you as well. So, make sure to watch it because you end up loving it! (so obsessed!!)

Don't take this one too seriously, and you're in for a fun ride

This is an unexpectedly entertaining costume/period drama with some fantastical elements. While not an original concept (the author entering her own novel), the story has solid characters that develop logically throughout the story and a well-placed plot with villain(s) that keep things moving.

I really enjoyed Song Yiren's performance here. She strikes the right balance of comedy and drama, which is needed is such a story as this. Ding Ze Ren as the ML is a relatively new actor, and he does generally well here, although he does have a way to go in the more angsty scenes.

January 2024 was disappointing to me as far as Chinese dramas (period/costume in particular), but this one was a nice little gem.

ionno y’all

I’m not one to normally write reviews on shows cause i have so much to say but this series really pissed me tf off? it did NOT have to have such a storyline…the ending is cute but my statement still stands. it was really a hard watch because it’s one thing for the the supporting acts to be protagonists but when the co lead is no different it gets very … exasperating to say the least. HE should’ve been his safe space but honestly he wasn’t????? anyone who has the muscles to rewatch this I salute hey

DRAAAAAGGGGS but I still enjoyed it

I'm late to the game on this, by 17 years. But in case anyone else is ready to watch this in 2023 here are my thoughts.

First off, the movie poster makes it look like a light-hearted comedy. It is not. FL actress is loveable in her portrayal of a charming lively girl pressed down by what she believes to be a loveless arranged marriage. It will make you think of Princess Diana a lot. Ther are many references and comparisons to Camilla and Prince Charles. 2ML actor does an excellent job portraying his heartbreak and longing. I could feel his pain and anguish in every scene. Even though many of the scenes were excessively repetitive and I fast forward some of them, I watched every single scene of 2ML's -- sometimes twice. He was riveting. The ML's mother is very well done, as a strict seemingly heartless queen, who is carrying pain and loss but trying to hold it all in.

I felt the heartbreak and hope of all the characters. I felt empathy for even the "villains". They are fleshed out and you can see the motivation for their feelings and actions. No one is all good or all bad.

the music is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect. I could listen to it every day.

Parts I hated:
Completely and utterly repetitive. Completely and utterly repetitive. Completely and utterly repetitive. You get where I'm going with this....Maybe even 4, 5, or 6 of the same scene would work. But there were dozens of repetitive scenes. We get the point. Move on, already. Could have cut at least 3 hours out of it by an editor tightening up the script.

The ML. I know it's from 2006, and the stiff, unfeeling, cold and heartless prince was probably in fashion at the time. Does he like her? Doesn't he? I totally get why he likes her. But not why she likes him. Since this is what they were going for, ML actor does a wonderful job. But back to the perplexity of why she likes him. Yes, he's attractive. She says grows to love him because she watches him and starts to understand him, and it makes her love him more. But so far (on episode 20) there is little character growth from him. You can see he cares about her, but mostly while she's sleeping. So, very little basis for her growing to care about him. And the FL reaction to his many insults: holding her tongue and taking it. Late into episode 18, 19 and 20, they could have cut 3 episodes out just by her telling him what he did to upset her. And why is he meeting with the 2FL ALL the time if he doesn't like her anymore and cares for his wife? And it doesn't make sense that he is so giddy happy with his sister, but does not let his affection show with his wife, who he has clearly grown to care for. EDIT: ML was rigid, cold and lifeless, but when his emotions finally broke free near the end, I could see how well the actor did in his portrayal. It was writing I had disliked, and not the actor's portrayal.

TINY SPOILER: and you don't have to give your old photos of your EX back to them! You can just toss them! That's another hour and misunderstanding that we didn't need. We get the idea. END SPOILER.

Overall, I'm glad I watched it. But be prepared to fast forward after the 8th time the scene repeats.

Fresh and interesting

Though I've longed for it, I thought I'd never see the day with Kang Kiyoung as male lead and from the first episodes of this drama, he deserves to be one.

The drama is about a lawyer who lost everything, including her son, after being cheated by her husband and mother in law. She now works as a divorce resolver to help those who are going through unfair divorces. She also has to work with prosecutor-turned-lawyer Dong Kijoon, her former lover that she left to marry into money.

I'm quite surprised by how much I like the leads. The FL is by no means perfect but she doesn't deserve the treatment she got from her husband and mother in law. As the show progresses, she kept showing her resilience and practicality. Meanwhile, the ML is no pushover, he's a quick thinker and does not dilly dally with his decisions. Their chemistry is also good, they have that former lovers that haven't gotten over each other vibe going on and I'm excited to see them getting back together.

Healthy relationship dynamic, Good for one watch, Toki is the best.

(General spoilers only.) The only highschool-teacher story I've seen (so far) with a truly well-balanced dynamic. How their strengths and weaknesses line up made them equals and they grow together. I found it sweet, endearing, and non-cringy. This is NOT a sexually charged, passionate, or taboo-focused story.

Overall light, sweet and easy fun that's good for one watch but isn't that memorable (except for Rintaro as Toki).

I really liked and greatly appreciated that Toki and Sahara communicated, supported/encouraged, and TRUSTED each other. They both had character growth and thrived with the attention and care of the other.

FYI: Japanese highschools are 3 years, so Toki being a second year student is equivalent to being a junior (third year) in the USA.

Rintaro as Toki was awesome and always fun to watch. Toki is bigger-than-life yet acted with nuance. Though Toki is wild in the physically over-dramatic Manga-style way (and often funny), multiple aspects of his personality and approach to things are admirable and even mature for his age. He is a 'doer' and doesn't think too deeply, yet he is thoughtful and puts effort into understanding others. He came across as an actual highschooler with a good heart who was a 3-dimensional character and not a caricature. He's sincere, straightforward, and totally lovable.

General Spoilers below.

There was an obvious balance in Toki and Sahara's personalities and their relationship that made their age gap a non-issue (for me anyway). Especially since they consciously kept their interactions PG, and Sahara had them wait until Toki graduated highschool before verbally making their romantic relationship official. There is a brief lip press at that time.

I mostly didn't mind the time spent on Sahara's past because it highlighted the differences between Nekoto and Toki and further demonstrated why Toki would make a good partner even though he's younger.

What I didn't like:

Takumi as Sahara was okay but not compelling. I liked him but didn't fall for him. He didn't do anything poorly, just didn't have much charisma and felt a little flat in his acting.

The school play bit made me cringe hard. It wasn't necessary and felt like pure contrivance to get an oops-kiss moment. The only thing that made it better than a trip-and-fall accident kiss was the humor of bigger-than-life Toki trying to act demurely as Snow White.

The end felt super rushed. There's a time jump, happy ending scene, and it's over. In that regard, I would have preferred less time spent on Nekoto to get more of Toki and Sahara (or even more of Todo's story since he kind of gets left out after halfway through).

The past connection was a simplistic, cliched, writing cop-out for tying things together. At least it was obvious from early on that it was coming due to little flashbacks and wasn't a complete surprise in the last episode as it is in so many shows.
