This Cdrama is TOP TIER

This Chinese drama is really a top tier, they deserve to be recognized!!! I really love this drama!! It's really sad that Wang Churan git bashed because of her character but she really did a great job in portraying her role, I love herrr!!! They completed my vacation!!! Please give them the recognition they deserve because they really did a great job in making this drama. They make it a MASTERPIECE!!! I'm not even when I say that this series is THE BEST CDRAMA I HAVE EVER WATCHED.

I don't know why too much negative reviews for this drama. If you just want to watch dramas that could make you giggle all the time then it is not for you.

Although the base story is quite cliche about family matters but I found out it's realistic. Like what do you expect from a adopted young girl to choose between her Family and boyfriend?. Or what do you expect from a grown man to act in front of the woman who abandoned him 10years ago. They have their owns reasons and perspectives. That's what make this drama interesting.

The story not only focus about the main leads romance but also shows many other aspects like their careers, friends, family. Specifically i really love the rescue scenes it gave me goosebumps.

THE STORY PICTURES REAL THINGS IN THE ARMY

This second season was really necessary, just like the first, seeing the suffering of the military, traumas and etc is true ( which happens most of the time )

In addition to this season having filled some holes in history.

I really got very emotional in several episodes, laughed a lot and cried like a child.

Choi Hyun-wook's participation was the most anticipated for me, and his episode was one of the ones that shook me the most and made me freak out just because of his presence (I was dying to watch it)

For a limited audience

I'm finally done with this show. The first 10-15 episodes were ok, but I've struggled with the rest. I've watched without FF, but boy was I tempted to skip some of the scenes. In the end, the only thing that I really liked was the music which was somehow fresh and a bit different. A young version of me would probably enjoy this drama more. It reminded me of Naruto that I used to watch in the past.

Overall, I think it’s a wasted potential. The cast was ok, but everything else was lacking. I find this show to be very stiff. Fights were choreographed, but other scenes had little direction. The shots were rather static with limited camera movement. I wish they've played more with the camera, so that I could at least enjoy the shots.

The drama should be called the True Meaning of Training, or the Legends of the Dragon Mountain Empire, rather than Snow Eagle Lord. There were many unnecessary plots and side stories that were left unresolved, and many characters that we didn’t have the time to connect with. Maybe if the number of episodes were cut by half, the story would be more focused on the main leads and make more sense.

I’ve watched this show for Xu Kai, and he delivered a good performance, but this is one of his weakest dramas so far. You can watch it if you are really into martial arts and this type of genre, otherwise it’s better to skip it and watch something else.

7, only because I'm XK-biased, but it should be less.

A series with good cast and story but forgot about the rest

Numbers just finished!

not a whole bunch to say since, the story is good for certain people (like me)

Cast was interesting but somehow it feels rushed and untapped,

music is not great and not in tune, except for the theme played while the VP is being released from prison

rewatch, if you like thinking series this is a good short series, but if you are not into that kind series
better watch something else.

just fine series, writer story is good but the direction of the story is somehow rushed.
we don't know could be ratings issue, the series feels rushed.

Exclusive Fairytale is a Chinese drama that tells the story of Ling Chao and Xiao Tu, two childhood sweethearts who grow up together and fall in love. The drama is set in a high school and follows the characters as they navigate their relationships, their dreams, and their futures.

The drama is an okay watch. It's a typical youth school-to-adult drama, with all the usual tropes and clichés. However, there are some things that I did enjoy about the drama.

First, I thought the acting was pretty good. Jun did a great job as Ling Chao, and I also enjoyed Zhang Miaoyi's performance as Xiao Tu. The supporting cast was also solid, and I thought they all did a good job of bringing their characters to life.

Second, I liked the story. It was sometimes a bit predictable, but I still found it enjoyable.

Third, I thought it was hilarious. The drama has a lot of funny moments, and I found myself laughing out loud several times.

Fourth, I liked how they added Jun's real-life idol character and dance moves from his songs. It was a fun way to incorporate his personality into the drama, and it made the drama more interesting for fans of Jun.

However, there were also some things that I didn't like about the drama.

First, the dubbing was pretty bad. The voice actor for Jun didn't really sound like him, and the lip-sync was often off. This was a bit distracting, and it sometimes took me out of the drama.

Second, the drama was a bit slow-paced at times. There were a few episodes where I felt like nothing really happened. This made the drama a bit boring at times.

Overall, I thought Exclusive Fairytale was an okay watch. It's not the best drama I've ever seen, but it's not the worst either. If you're a Jun or Zhang Miaoyi fan, you might enjoy the drama. However, if you're not a fan of the genre, then you might want to skip it.

Song Yan's Rescue Scene is the Best

I really loved the rescue scenes in this drama, where Song Yan showed his determination to rescue as many people as he could. For him, lives does matter. This drama also told so many ups and downs being a doctor and firefighter, which I appreciated a lot.

When I watched the last episode, I suddenly teared up. I thought of a sentence, "In the end, the darkness will gone, and the sun will rise." Yan City after the storm, how the people, together, built their city again showed how we could pass all the difficulties, and in the end, everything would gonna be alright. This scene also showed the humanity, when even some not really likeable character can help the others.

Despite the very low rating on Douban (only 3.3) and so many controversies during its airing time, for me this drama is definitely a good watch.

Disappointingly bad

To be truthful, it is one of the worst BL series I have ever seen. Disastrous screenplay that made no sense. Bad acting. No chemistry. Disjointed story. In other words, just plain awful. It went around using the same trope, cliché-filled lines, and themes that I literally got bored out of my mind. This series was disappointingly bad, incoherent, insulting to its audience, loveless, and one of the least romantic BLs in a long time. Yet it also had a figure who was genuinely repentive of what he did, constantly tried to make up for his errors and mistakes, yet, still seemed to be projected as a villain. You have a rich rather indecisive individual who is gay and will never meet his father’s expectations yet still too timid to stand up to him (or his family) with any kind of real fortitude and a partner who quick-tempered, impulsive, and righteous and rather judgmental before knowing all the facts, and, in my opinion, might be prone to having a drinking problem. A cautious tale indeed.

Before getting into the review, I would first like to commend Kim Taeri's acting. She is simply phenomenal in portraying essentially 2 different characters. This is my first time watching her (have been meaning to get around to watching The handmaiden...) and I'm simply blown away.

Now on to the plot, I would say it's pretty innovative of the writer to craft a horror story based on traditional Korean folklore. I'm not Korean, and I found it quite educational to learn about the different traditions and how they compare with the traditions from my culture. With that being said, I'm not quite a fan of how plot-driven this show is - it resulted in a lack of character development for everyone except the FL and ML. This series is only 12 episodes; 4 less than the usual length of a standard Kdrama but the showrunners still decided to be ambitious and squeezed in other minor sub plots in the first few episodes. Some of them ended up being rushed through and inadequately explained (the case involving parents abusing and keeping the existence of their daughter for no reason). it also resulted in the minor characters being severely under-developed. For instance, it was never explained why haesang's grandma was so obsessed with becoming rich. She was never shown using her money and spent her days reading books. And godd, don't get me started on Hongsae. He had a RBF throughout the show and an attitude worse than a teenager going through puberty. I would have rather he died instead of Munchun. Oh, and Sanyeong's mother as well. I guessed she was supposed to be portrayed as a weakling so the audience would feel more for Sanyeong's suffering but lord it was overdone. I ended up hoping she would just kick the bucket because she was not helping at all. It was never really explained why she ended up the way she is - only briefly implied that she might have been traumatised from having a miscarriage and then finding out her mother died right after. But I wished she would have been written in a more sympathetic way.

Honestly, I would have given this series a 9 if not for the ending. The acting is great all around (even for the poorly developed side characters, their actors did all they could) and the cinematography, directing and sound design were great. But the ending... to me it came on too strongly as some anti-suicide PSA peppered with cliches of how important it is to love yourself. With the context of Korea's high suicide rate, I guess this makes sense but I can't help but feel like korean audiences would see through the hypocrisy. The only reason why Sanyeong was able to "love herself" and "want to live" was because she was finally free of her capitalistic burdens. With her huge inheritance from her dead grandma and father, she was free to finally do whatever she wanted to do in life. And all of this would not have been possible without the help of the ghost, who gave her the riches through exploiting her weakness and killing those she hated. Without the ghost, she would have still been stuck doing manual labour part time jobs! In fact, she would be blind, poor, and stuck with her lousy-ass mother. Hell, without the ghost, she would not even have known of the existence of her father and grandmother, and criminals such as Haesang's grandma and the voice phishing guys would still be alive. So that whole spiel about preventing the ghost from exploiting her weakness seems through loving herself more while trying to kill the very thing that enabled you to remove the weakness from your life seems very ungrateful and hypocritical.

The other reviews for this show are quite positive and I think I'm the only who gets the "ick" from the cheery ass ending. Oh well, but its on par of the course for kdramas which usually start off strong but end poorly. I do still think this is worth a watch though, especially if you're a Kim Taeri fan.

Don't be deterred by a supposedly dry accountants´ world. It´s feisty. Suspenseful. Emotional, too

"Numbers" is about auditors, balance sheets and accountants. It's obviously all about numbers. That may put some people off. It's also about what lies behind those numbers, and that may at times seem even more complicated to the uninitiated. However, deliberately illustrative examples are repeatedly interspersed. And it is even more gratifying that it is not necessary to understand all this in every detail in order to enjoy the series. “Numbers” is about a rational and clever mastermind. Yet it is also about having the heart at the right spot. It´s feisty. It´s also emotional. It stands up and means it. Great!

"Numbers" is definitely worth it getting involved in the abstract world of accounting specialists. Especially since their decisions, in turn, have consequences for a world that juggles numbers even more aloof - Investment Fonds... While the auditors keep an eye on the current state of the balance sheet and put its potential through its paces, investors only care about future returns and often want the maximum profit regardless of the losses - which others have to bear for it.

Numbers are numbers. But the decisive factor is who has the sovereignty of interpretation. Numbers sound clean and objective, apparently. Yet, they stand for people, their visions and their decisions. Hidden underneath are solutions, too. As always, the question you´re asking, will make the difference – leading the way for your attention and focus. And as always, different possible perspectives exist. Also in the world of numbers.

"Numbers" is about a revenge campaign – again. There are actually several. It is about those who, with good reason, do not want to be intimidated by the power of the powerful – again. They have nothing (more) to lose. The bad guys are really bad. They have long lost their heart or never had one to begin with. This makes for plenty of interesting relationship dynamics.

"Numbers" also offers an interesting variety of intelligence and competence. Bottom line for revenge candidates – again: just on your own it is almost impossible to make a difference. However, someone courageously has to make a first clever and striking move ahead. With heart and soul. Then maybe others will remember that their heart was once in their right place, too. (In a rational, hierarchical world that takes for granted that there is no room for irrational emotions or personal interests, it's easy to forget just that.)

"Numbers" is a bold story about rather impure moves in the world of accounting and investment. A complex story. At the same time, an exciting, thrilling story that is fun, too. No matter how remote this world of dizzyingly high numbers may be for most of the audience, watching the story feels good overall. You get a high-flying, intelligent mixture. The actors show a strong presence in their roles and thus contribute a lot. The pace is right. OST fits fine.

My suggestion: don't be put off by suits, ties and a supposedly dry, conservative, number-dominated accountant business world. Sure enough, "Numbers" has it all!

Side Note:
Banks in South Korea have been taboo for investors since the Asian crisis. For the bank sector, on the other hand, financial investment transactions are not permitted. Just now, in 2023, fundamental reforms were launched - some are even talking about a revolution. The banking sector is just now being opened up to new players in order to stimulate competition.

Beautiful journey

One of the best Cdramas i have seen hands down.

Its not just a journey of a ML & FL but the whole quaint village. Their problems, their happiness, pros & cons of changing times for people in a village, for old aged people and for people who were lost and found themselves in this village. Its so so beautifully brought out. If audiences start feeling like they are part of the lives of the characters thats the ultimate goal a drama would have achieved & this drama achieves that effortlessly. In first episode itself you start rooting for FL. Same goes with every character thats introduced. Adding to that all the great actors and characters and the beautiful setting making it so perfect.

One special mention on ML. I think one of the very realistic next door "rural" ML i have ever seen in any languages. They really show ML working not just talking about working. The scene where he helps a stuck truck shows how he really helps people. Have never seen such scenes natually without highlighting "machoness" or "manliness" in front of FL(FL is not even present in that scene).

only downside could be a little bit slow and a romance between the musician and the much older women. I found it a little dragging and couldnt relate to that part of the story but otherwise very good.

Overall Impression:

If you want to watch a K-drama on Netflix with a unique and solid plotline and great acting, look no further. Originally from the first episode, I thought this drama was just going to be nonstop catfights and petty beef for lighthearted entertainment. Happy to say I was wrong. This drama is so much more, and just got deeper and better after each episode.

The beginning of the drama gives us a peek into the lives of a group of Korean Instagram influencers called the Gabin Society. As the show progresses, we discover what truths lie behind the feeds of these gorgeous girls, showcasing a life filled with luxury, happiness and fine aesthetic pleasures, where they seemingly have it all. Our main protagonist, Seo Ari, finds herself becoming involved in this world of glitz and glamour after an encounter with an old friend (Minhye) who’s a part of this society. One thing leads to another, and Ari decides to join in on this web celeb lifestyle as she believes it’ll improve her current social and economic status, but later embroils herself in unwanted situations that threatens to wreck her stability and sanity.

Things I thought were done well/likes:
- Time Jumps. These were the main plot device. Scenes within each episodes jump back and forth from the time of a present-day livestreaming Ari, thought to be deceased by her circle, to the time the events she's narrating in the livestream take place. It usually starts with Ari suggesting something cryptic, but she leaves the viewers hanging by only stating the conclusion, giving us time to make our own predictions about what happened. The secrets aren’t exposed until they play out in the past timeline, and this does a great job at keeping curious viewers engaged.
- Eye-catching and Interesting Characters. Ari was calm, intelligent, strong with an emotionally mature way of thinking, and super cute, with her lil bob hair nicely framing her face, but also not the in-your-face type of cute, making her the perfect underdog influencer protagonist to support. And then there were also the Gabin Society girls, each with their own backstory that kept me interested in them, and their husbands, who also had their own idiosyncrasies. Only stereotypical character was Joonhyuk, but he is the handsome cutie of the cast and that more than compensates for his lack of personality…hehe
- Modern-Day Relevancy. The toxicity and performative nature of social media. Followers, likes, etc. as the main form of social currency. Transactional friendships formed on the basis of mutually beneficial cooperation. The destructive power of potential gaslighting and deception by anonymous users like @_bbbfamous (oh the irony…). Though it’s obvious the vast majority of this story is a dramatized depiction, this drama still touches on things that are too real and relevant to the year 2023. I think this drama would be interesting to revisit a couple years down the line.

Things I thought could be improved/dislikes:
- The romance. Granted, this drama isn’t centered around romantic love. The relationship between Ari and Joonkyung isn’t at all the point. But it’s odd how their attraction to one another seemed to have developed out of nowhere. It would’ve been much better if the writers had just squeezed in a few emotional and intimate moments between the two to build the chemistry first, rather than make it seem like she reciprocated his affection only because he was always around to support and protect her. Makes me think the romance was added simply to force the plot in a specific direction, but I guess it worked so it’s fine.
- Ending. Justice was served! I just wish they made it more impactful somehow. There were so many opportunities to add in a pithy message that speaks to problems with the internet and its devastating effects today that would’ve resonated with people and be quoted again and again missed.

Overall an 8.5/10. Definitely recommend adding this drama to your watchlist! :)

Watched till ep14 and i must say that cheng yi never fails us with his acting skills. Whether his appearance being strong or weak he look elegant in any outfit and his facial expressions are just killing it ? he is very expressive he can act even without saying any word ❤️❤️ even the other actors Joseph and shun yao didn't disappoint me especially dang duobing ? i just like their chemistry the 3 of them are really handsome and funny too pleasant to my eyes.also the plot is really interesting i like that in every case there's alot of investigation to reval the truth and they work together to solve the mysterious case my li lianhua is so smart and both of fang duobing and di feisheng protect him
Ik it might be boring for some ppl to watch and know every detail of the the case but for me it's really interesting even though there's no romance it's still good. that's what it makes it an amazing drama it doesn't necessary rely and focus on romance and love just Martial arts World which really took my attention the cinematography of the fight scenes are just fire 🔥 and the plot is flowing nicely. I like the plot twist too i didn't really expect it 😍
❤️ looking forward for the next eps ❤️❤️❤️
I completed this drama and I'll definitely watch again it's absolutely the hest drama for 2023 🔥

Endured watching for its in-between episodes that always save this drama from being dropped

Story: A common story about a battle of good and evil rooted in obsessive unrequited love among Taoists and spirits. It started when the millennium dragon, Tianyao in the human form, was betrayed by his bride, Suying, at their matrimonial ceremony by cutting off his body parts making him powerless but unsuccessful to retrieve his heart-protecting scale only to sustain her lover’s life. Using his last string of strength, Tianyao was able to save his protecting heart scale by throwing it out up in the air and unexpectedly fell on a baby girl, Yanhui, suffering from a weak heart. Possessing the heart-protecting scale both helps and endanger her life. When Tianyao finally met the grown-up baby girl, Yanhui, they embarked on the journey of recovering his lost body parts.

The story clearly showed the power of determination, sacrifice, and a cluster of efforts to defeat immortal wickedness.

This drama could have been a great one if not for the following:
1. Too many flashbacks that add to the boredom
2. Emotional scenes that were invaluable to affect the viewer’s emotion
3. Poor characterization of Tianyao known to be powerful of all but ended incapable in the story, and
4. Pushing the story long with unnecessary complexities.

Acting/Cast: Neo Hou as Tianyao pretty much did well and suits the role with that face. It was gratifying alone watching him on screen. The FL who I barely knew was not bad at all. Their acting complements each other. I blamed some of their dialogues and how the story was played that the whole cast’s performance was not appreciated strongly as it should be.

On the other hand, the best thing I loved about this drama was I had the pleasure of feasting my eyes with colors. It catered to one of the best fantasy aesthetics. I specifically praise the wedding of Tianyao and Yanhui which was very regal with that white cape flowing wedding costumes and headdress. There were more stunning to see that would somehow encourage you to care watching this drama if you haven’t yet.

The whole story

All the episodes are very good, the plot is not too fast and easy to understand. I really enjoyed episode 1 to 40 (end)
I really like the character Qi lianshan, he is gentle, caring, funny, humble, and easy to make people like him
Maybe most people who watch this drama will give a bad rating. Because they don't like the actors, even though the most important thing for me when watching a drama is the message it wants to convey. And I can understand a lesson from this drama, that everyone has a knot or secret in their own heart, but that doesn't mean that the knot keeps us away from everything.
