“Voyage” centres on a young psychiatrist who leaves Hong Kong to embark on a long lone voyage from Hong Kong along the coast of South-East Asia to try to overcome the emotional turmoil he has experienced in his relationships with former clients. This is an art film. There are not much dialogues in this film but the acting speaks it all. Very deep. It interprets life, death, after world and suicide. There are like 5-6 stories and they are shot in Mongolia, Malaysia, Australia, Germany, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. The Mongolia story was bit dark and I felt like these stories are all connected in someway. It's very hard to understand this movie but if you understand then your a genius, the meaning behind the stories are too deep. This movie was directed by Scud. His movies are always artistic.

It's a completely different Scud film than we're used to. The gay component is omitted and for the viewer's eye there is maximum gay interest and (not only) male nudity, which is sometimes too much. It is a puzzle of stories connected by memories of a psychiatrist and taking place in Mongolia, Malaysia, somewhere on a ship, Holland. One of them also stars Sebastian Castro, whom I also mention in the movie 4 Days. This young American, the son of Peruvian-Asian parents, was kicked out of their house on Long Island by his parents when he told them he was gay at the age of 17. The picture, even though I give it a decent rating, didn't impress me that much.
