Hae-Gwan's daughter is missing. People around him tell him that she is already dead, but he refuses to believe. He tries to find her using an AI satellite robot, which makes an emergency landing in South Korea.
This was such a heartbreaking and heartwarming movie.
The robot was a totally sweet creature, who I felt the same emotions for as the father. All of the actors did an amazing job bringing this rather unusual movie to life. Even though I had to cry a few times, not only because of such emotional scenes, but also because of many laughter.
I didn't think it'd turn out this good but it read moredid.
The story got me hooked right away and I was rooting for both Hae Gwang and Sori, to find their loved ones.
It's a beautiful movie I'd recommend to everyone who loves a bit of everything - laughter, tears, excitement and something different than the usual love/drama movies :)
I enjoyed it a lot.. it had a new interesting approach to the story, which I liked... it was touching and sad, yet it had some adorable silly comedy which made the movie more enjoyable...
I knew I recognized Shim Eun-Kyung was the sound of Sori ;p
Disappointed. This could have been a wonderful heartfelt story about a father searching for closure in the loss of his beloved daughter, finding out all the things he didn't know about her, recovering the belief in the love they shared. And the part of the movie devoted to Lee Sung Min and Sori was just beautiful and very believable. But instead they had to cheapen it with a cornball and unbelievable conspiracy scenario with the cliche corrupt government officials, the token slam against the evil US military, and our one heroic female who helps him escape. Totally ruined the movie for me. What I would have given an 8 or 8.5 I forced myself to give a 6. Greatly disappointed. :(
