The Korean Drama is based off the Japanese drama that was released in 2013. same story. the Japanese drama was good, loved the songs. I think the Korean drama will have more twists in the plot. but so far looks great
Takeru and Hyun Woo are very different actors, but both of them are doing a great job portaying the male lead. If they came together as one person, they would make the ultimate male lead for this drama, haha!
ok ok i did read the manga ( it is good ) and watched the movie (disappointed) and i honestly don't understand why compare it ? The actors are cute the story did start light but it will grow.. so you have now a story that you liked in duration of 16 h but nooo let us say the 2h of Jmovie is beter- WHY??? HOW ? I ask because i did watch the movie and was like ok i need to think a minut or a day to figure out why ar all the people describing the Kdrama as a disappointment.. and two days passed and i stil dont have it. because for me the movie was a disappointment.. So hate me i will like the drama you the movie. And let us stop the comparing !!! If you like to post comments - comment the drama itself because this is so stupid. Let us enjoy the story from a different angle!!! thx
These times there are so many dramas and always the same actors, it's quite good to see new faces. I like the current actors but if they still do all the drama the others one will never have a chance to show us their talent too, so guys be open minded and stop criticize idol-actor, this drama worths very much ! above all if you want to chill and watch a cool romantic drama, you'll like this, their alchemy is good, they're so sweet ! Send love♥
It's very different. I mean, It can't be exactly like the manga (wow I feel like I can't shut up about It, I'm sorry....), but I think they changed a lot stuff that they could have kept, and that they added a bunch of unnecessary stuff as well. Some of the characters are completely changed, as if they are different people - and they turned some "bad"characters into "good" one's with these 2 episodes (I did not like that kind of change.). And they made the main lead douchier than he is in the manga, and he also seem like a different character (I do love Lee Hyun woo tho :^) ) . Some/ a lot of the story seems to be changed. Although this kinda makes the drama more enjoyable for me since I can't tell what's going to happen next. I'm gonna keep watching :^)
Watched the first episode and kind of snorted. I wish Lee Hyun Woo had better dramas, I held no high expectations for this drama either.
And yes, I'm comparing it to the Japanese movie because it's one of my favorites. I'll try and stick by this for at least 4 episodes. They already made me 'meh' about the trauma, like yay pointless drama! :D
Just started this drama and I'm loving it. The lead actress is adorable and I love how she portrays her character's personality. The lead is also great, he's doing a wonderful job acting out his character's inner conflicts. I can't wait to see more from them both and the rest of the characters. It's been awhile since I've enjoyed the start of a series like this. I'm excited to watch more. :)
I just watched the first episode and I have to say that LAHL is pretty mediocre. I'm still confused by So Rim's trauma.. like does she have issues with singing in public? If so, then isn't that a bit contradicting because she has sang in public before. Not only that, this drama is caked up in cheese, but I'll guess I'll have to see how the rest plays out.
Maybe she just has stage fright (singing in front of people watching/evaluating her). She probably only considers singing with the ajummas as something relaxed/playing around, not an actual performance.
