I would love it if I had the second season, I really loved mainly to know that Ryuji is in the cast,
I really want to continue already we are in 2018 cheering a lot for them to do. Incredible actors are to be congratulated.
Twisting here for everything to come back, I completely addicted myself to this cute, cute dorama.
As for Ryuji is beautiful as always has never failed to show his beauty and as a fan admire his work I make it a point to follow him on twitter,
the family has a wonderful man and a lovely voice as well.
I love you so much Ryuji <3

Short, cute, and whole lot of fun!!

I randomly happened upon this series and it was a fun little drama that although ridiculous, was incredibly entertaining! It had many little plot twists and odd plot lines that were mostly nonsensical  but were a blast to watch. It had Manga/Anime style characters and situations that will have you laughing and smiling the whole way through.

In addition, this drama is composed of 8 episodes at about 20 min each (if you account for the ending theme song) because of this is easy to watch the entire series in 1 or 2 sittings. Making this the perfect end to a stressful week or a great buffer between more series dramas.
This is definitely a guilty pleasure watch and one that if you break it in to parts does not look the most promising. T
he acting was meh, the story was interesting but nothing overtly original, the soundtrack was catchy enough but was nothing to right home about, and the ending was left open (appeared as though they plan on future seasons). Despite all this, I thoroughly enjoyed this drama and would probably re-watch and would DEFINITELY watch a season 2.

Happy Drama Watching!! :)

Cringey and very sexist, but occasionally cute.

The gimmick of the series is bizarre to grab the audience's attention, but it immediately lets you know that sexism is very much a baked in part of this world and you're just going to have to make peace with that if you want to watch it. I have never read and hadn't previously heard of the manga - I just know that the show didn't make me want to pick it up despite leaving so many unanswered questions in an attempt to pique my curiosity - so don't let my observations color that experience for you.

Unfortunately, the poster is much cooler than the actual show itself. At first, I appreciated that Hina has a backbone and is more than willing to stick up for herself, but then the writing decided that it was more important for the guys to pass her around like she has no autonomy. Even her younger brother (for what it's worth, they call him a siscon) is possessive of her and treats her like she can't make her own decisions just because she suddenly forgot her backbone and acts naive in clearly dangerous situations!

Despite trying to enjoy it for what it is, I kept getting the feeling that the show was trying to help itself to some of Ouran's pie. The plot does a really half-hearted job of showing a "reverse harem", instead focusing on what is very clearly the endgame relationship and occasionally reminding the audience that there is "third wheel" pining from the sidelines. That being said, the hate ships between the Student Council and main 5 + Hina bred such complex ship geometry that I struggled to keep up. There was so much potential in the budding friendship storyline that I wish more opportunities had been taken to really flesh it out, but I suppose there weren't enough episodes to focus on that.

Like Ouran, the finale tries to be big and raise the stakes to get the audience interested in the manga. It's admittedly a fun episode to watch and some of the character interactions from earlier in the season come full circle, but it just left me wishing that more of the season had been like that or that the story had been built up better to earn the emotional payoff it was hoping for. I think the actors did the best they could with the script they were given and it looked like they were at least having fun, so after a while I was able to feel like I was having a nice time with them.

If you can suspend your disbelief for the plot, easily ignore the overt sexism, not get caught up on unanswered questions and open endings, and reign supreme against secondhand awkwardness... this show is a pretty good way to spend your free time!

Could have been better

As a big fan of the manga I can say that, unfortunately, the drama version did not come up to my expectations. Takui is more Toshi than the Toshi guy. Ryuji is maybe the only one from the cast that is completely out of character and is far from Toshi in the manga. He's too cute for his role, he looks like he's 10 and I can't even take him seriously. Neither has the vibe of a womanizer. In fact, Takui was my favourite in the manga, and in the end he was my favourite in the drama too. Matsuoka's acting was probably the best in the whole drama. He had the vibe, the character, the attitude, he just had his place in the whole production. It's a good drama if you have free time to waste but it's far from great and for sure not as good as the manga itself.

Five is a short drama, only eight episodes long and each episode about twenty minutes of length. The story seemed ordinary, boys over flowers like, but it actually wasn't. I enjoyed the friendship between the girl and the boys and their small adventures that they had together. Though there were too many characters that were added to the story. Fortunately, they didn't overcomplicate the story. Eventually, my main problem with this drama was the ending. I do hope that there will be another season, because the story was left on a cliff hanger.

So refreshing!

This J-Drama was so refreshing compared to the others! Finally I found the type of Drama I love the most.

First of all I would like to compliment the actors for playing their part so good that I completely forgot that it was not real.

Secondly I would like to give a compliment to the author of this story: I loved the story mostly because the whole story was optimistic, which is something that I don't have and don't see much in my life and around me. Furthermore no one had to die or leave forever. I didn't even mind no one being a couple. This story focused mainly on friendship and class-spirit, which is something that Luxembourgish schools for example lack a lot. It is really important to respect each other and not to discriminate other people. This story taught us also that although you have friends on which you can depend on from time to time, you also should be able to stand-up for yourself and you should be able to defend yourself. -And yes I will take that advice very seriously because I am aware that I lack that a lot. Also it taught us that not being the best at something or even failing at doing something doesn't have to be forcibly bad. It only means that there is space for improvement so life won't be depressing or boring. But the most valuable lesson from this story is people shouldn't be pessimistic: NOTHING is forever not even bad situations in life. Think of it like this: when it rains this means that at some point the sun will shine again.

Thirdly I wanted to tell everyone who reads this that song at the end of each episode is so catchy that even I couldn't stop myself from singing along (although I don't speak Japanese).

And last but not least: YES YOU SHOULD WATCH AND REWATCH THIS JDRAMA OVER AND OVER AGAIN!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Oh and thank you for choosing extremely cute actors but PLEASE FEED THEM... a woman of 163cm with a weight of less than 50kg IS NOT HEALTHY. And the male actors too: a man with a size of 177cm weighing 60kg IS DANGEROUS.
To everyone who reads this: If you do not feel well in your body due to weight don't stop eating and also don't start eating less; IMPROVE your SPORTS-habit!

It's cute and simple~

STORY: There aren't that many reverse-harem live action dramas out there so I was extremely happy to find this. However even though it is a reverse-harem there isn't as much as I expected or wanted which was a little disappointing but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The story is a fairly simple one but something interesting happens every episode. It's not a drama that would make you cry but it'll definitely make you smile and laugh. It doesn't take itself too seriously and can be silly mainly because it was based off a manga. I haven't read the manga yet so I can't compare it but you shouldn't need to read it to like the drama. The movie poster is a little odd in my opinion because it gave me a different feeling from how the actual movie is. If you have spare time and want to watch something fun and short, this is it. I really wish there was a second season!

ACTING/CAST: I loved the cast especially the girl and the group of boys. There wasn't anything amazing with their acting because it didn't need to be. I loved how adorable the girl was and from the start I knew I'd like her. The boys were also just as cute with each personality being different from another so it was fun to see them interact on screen. Don't take the acting too seriously as it's not supposed to be taken seriously.

MUSIC: I don't think I noticed the music at all since there wasn't anything that stood out. For this part there isn't much to add on about it.

REWATCH VALUE: This section deserves it's 10 stars for me because of how many times I've rewatched this show and not get bored. I still get that same giddy feeling when the actors act romantically towards another and the story isn't something that ever gets tiring. It's also because I'm obsessed with rewatching dramas that I love.
