I'd like to note that I have a harder time watching Thai dramas/lakorns because the romance does not appeal as much to me. I really enjoyed these two in their other drama (I Wanna Be a Sup'tar) so I decided to check this out.

Overall story started out promising. The female lead feels relatable (to me) as a single woman getting closer to the 'marriage appropriate age' barrier and not wanting to be pushed into a relationship. She keeps her character throughout the story, just slowly learns that the male lead might just fit into her life after all. For me, it had a little too much of the side-storylines which dragged the whole thing down in timing. Although there need to be side-stories to feed the main story, not all of these side-stories need to get as much screentime as they did.

HOWEVER; I enjoyed watching this drama a lot. Would rewatch again, although I'll probably skip the side-storylines the next time. The main couple's chemistry is what makes this story shine. I really love friends to lovers dramas, and this one felt like a healthy relationship (which, in my experience is not always the case with lakorns) so I can't say I didn't enjoy this.

Also sidenote: HER OUTFITS IN THIS ARE SO FREAKING AMAZING!! The stylist here did a stellar job.

SPOILERS BELOW
What I wanted to see here was them going from:
- Strangers to good friends: Check! Even talking about what's bothering them, feelings and general chitchat without implying the romance immediately. Enjoyed the set-up a lot.
- Friends to crushes: Check! Subtle hints of them starting to like each other more and more.
- Crushes to... Married couple? This is where they lost me. I felt like; With 26 episodes we should have gotten a lot more of the romance build-up towards this inevitable marriage question. Both, if not her a bit more, are un-eager to jump into marriage at the beginning and YET with family related circumstances changing, they rush into it.

This felt like it was a last hurdle created to have some sort of conflict at the end. But in reality, the fact that he wants to marry her and she's unsure is conflict in and of itself. I feel like the writers could have built on that premise and then shown her opening up to the idea over the course of a few episodes.

Romantic comedy drama has always been my favorite since God knows when. First and foremost, Gypso is my favorite Thai actress since her drama with Puttichai in I Want To Be A Superstar. I definitely gotta give her "The Queen of Rom-Com". Suits her the best. Their chemistry in the previous drama is as good as this one. Somehow the drama is not as catchy as the previous. I can't help but to compare both drama. Overall, it's not bad at all. I gotta admit one thing. I skipped scenes because I felt the drama went kinda draggy. It felt somewhat like I'm watching the movie, The Proposal. It's not the same at all but its somewhat felt like that. Well, you can disagree with me but that's my opinion.

Another thing that I like about this drama is the characters. My most favorite character is Waen's grandma. She's the coolest ever. She's very understanding and super supportive of her one and only granddaughter. Lucky Waen to have an amazing grandma like that. For that, I give two thumbs up (ten if I have more thumbs :P). Plus, she's very bold and daring. Good thing Waen got that side of her grandma in her.

The least favorite is Sing's dad. I can understand that he's being quite old school and traditional type but sometimes he need to give some space for his kids to grow even though 2 of them are married. It's not always perfect with marriage. Its understandable for the father wanting a happy marriage but its always good to give some time and space for the whole family. He's not a bad father at all. He's concern and being responsible for his kids after having to lose one in the past. Perhaps he doesn't want the history to repeat itself again in the family. Good thing Waen's grandma gave Sing's dad a piece of her mind before he regrets it.

The grandkids are so cute especially Tuktik. Poor kid have to listen to the shouting and screaming. Its happy ending for Tuktik and her parents too, that's the beautiful part. Cookie is the most calmest dog ever. That fella is a cute dog too. My other favorite character in the drama. LOL! Anyway, the drama has been wonderful especially on Waen and Sing's parts. The rest I'm not too sure. Apart for the rom-com parts, I can say its the typical family story where you and I can see in reality. Happy ending to all. :)

A light, funny drama with a good life points, and pretty ML and FL

This is a pretty funny drama that hits home a lot of real life issues regarding marriage and people’s (justifiable) reason to remain single. In many scenes you can just hear the ML and the FL watching all the craziness happening around them and internally screaming “AND THIS IS WHY I WANT TO STAY SINGLE!” It’s pretty well done :)

This is arguably Push’s sweetest role. His character is a pretty even tempered rational guy who is totally happy in his single-hood and enjoying life with his fuzzy (and adorable) dog Cookie. The FL Gypso is ok but I thought she was a bit over the top in grumpiness. It made me wonder if she is so happy being single why wasn’t she less grumpy? I also didn’t like that they caricaturized her as being messy and somewhat crass. She didn’t need to be that way to be a single woman. It also bothered me that when her Senior was having marriage problems and she got caught up in it why she couldn’t take a stronger position. Both ML and the FL’s downside is that they are surrounded by family, friends and work who insist that they MUST get married in order to be happy and be fulfilled in life. Obviously, our leads politely disagree. And that actually makes the story worth watching.

I thought the drama was pretty slow when it came to the romance. The ML and FL barely have much interesting screen time until about Ep 10 and even then it’s just ok. The romantic chemistry was missing and they really seemed better off as just friends bc they did such a great job of acting in character - as people who just didn’t want to date anyone, least of all each other. It was like, wow mission accomplished because I felt like they really didn’t want to date at all. Lol. This drama doesn’t have quite the sexy scenes that you’d expect in a romcom and it definitely focuses more on the lives of the support cast which throw the two leads into situations.

Having watched Push with Baifern in The Leaves (if you haven’t watched that drama yet - stop reading this and go watch it!!) I feel like I was destined to be somewhat disappointed with the chemistry. I mean, they have a great friend chemistry much like they do in I Wanna Be a Superstar, but not the kind of sizzling, someone get a hose, type of chemistry you saw on The Leaves (aka Fallen Leaves). I miss that.

Side note, the entire time I wanted to just push all of Push’s front hair up and back. It annoyed me so much. His hairstyle, ugh. He is so hot with his hair up... I mean c’mon! But I understand the character isn’t meant to be a U-Prince hottie so ok, got it.

All in all, this is definitely a fun drama to watch. I mean, if anything you can just admire the hotness that is Push Puttichai and you won’t even notice the time pass~

What I liked:
FL grandmother had her back and was more open minded than her parents
Chemistry between leads
The kids
Fah taking her power back and thinking about her happiness. I was extremely happy to see that

What I didn't like
ML's dad...so annoying wanted to control his kids life but failed to see how unhappy they were
Though I usually like a balance of side stories and lead stories but this drama mainly focuses on the leads (ml family problems and fl helping to solve them)

I would not watch this drama again. If you want to watch it purely for leads maybe only focus on their scenes but u may get lost in some areas.
If you want main focus on leads romance drama umm skip this

It was so good and then kind of okay

Some potential spoilers:

I started this drama on a whim because I didn't think I would really get into the story. I really got hooked from the beginning and enjoyed it. I thought that the story was fun and had pretty hilarious bits. I liked the FL character and how she was just honest about herself. The ML was adorable and loving which I like in a ML.

The chemistry between the ML and FL was so good in the first half. I loved their banter and interactions. Then the second half of the drama the chemistry was almost awkward. It's like they filmed the last half of the drama first and the first part of the drama second. It was a notable shift for me.

I really think they could have made this 20 episodes. There was a weird other sibling that I felt like was not really apart of the story but would randomly pop up. I felt like there were a bit too many characters for this one story.

I liked that they showed her getting overwhelmed by everything with the wedding and her slowly panicking because that's exactly what would happen. I mean I wish that it would have happened sooner because that storyline was so much anxiety for the last two episodes.

I do like this leads together and like their acting individually as well
Would I rewatch this? I mean I have rewatched much worse. I would rewatch on 2x speed.

Well, when this appeared on my watchlist, I cannot say I was excited. I don't like Putt Putichai. As for the lead girl, this was my 1st lakorn with her... She's probably perfect fit for Putt Putichai, as I don't like her either... There are Pongpitch & Goy, the only positive thing in 'O-Negative' (pun intended). Pongpitch looks considerably better with short hair, but the horrendous beard is still in place.

I didn't like the 1st episode. Instantly I wished this to be a shorter one, like 10 episodes only. It has TWENTY SIX. It's like Murphy's law. But then again, there's enough time to sway me, if this is actually good.

Since 2nd episode, I started zoning out. It looked like I was to fast-forward through this lakorn, or drop it soon. As a fan of romantic series, it was difficult for me to tune in, when I didn't find guy/girl likeable, and when there was no romance. Just some kind of "friendship"... I know that's precisely what the reviews praised about 'I Wanna Be Sup'tar', but I haven't seen that one yet so, too bad. I find no charm.

Since 6th episode, I dediced to watch this best without ANY expectations, not as a romance, but just some kind of funny sketches about several friends. Besides Pongpitch & Goy, my favorites definitely were Jab Penpetch & Tao Sarocha, two 40 somethings, whose behavior gives such a bratty air that even teenage characters cannot measure with it... LMAO:) I tried to ignore the mangirl, Due Arisara's Dao, or the toot with gross facial hair. So naturally I skipped a lot of those 26x60 minutes.

On the romance side of this, of course I cheered for Goy to end up with Pongpitch, as she is too awesome for just any hunk and there is something very warm & cute about Pongpitch (one scene he jokes he is afraid to shave the beard off 'cause then girls wouldn't leave him alone, LOL). On the other hand, I wasn't able to focus on Putt Putichai and that "Gypso", their story didn't really get my attention for quite some time, until it became important for the family too, when the grandpa was sick by the end. It was cute they had this slow but honest development from being friends. But as far as I have noticed, there isn't a single good kiss scene (I'm not counting those with eyes wide open) for any couple.

It has more family drama towards the end, when the 40s characters still being immature proves not to be that funny anymore... It's not just being a dissapointment for THEIR elders, they themselves just aren't able to become proper elders and give any support to the younger family members. When a family is disfunctional like that, it's the known feeling of "being alone despite being with people"...

Romance of the last couple comes in the last epi only, as for the other couples, their stories are not even finished, or didn't get much closure. And that despite the generous length of 26 episodes. I am also generous: to give it rating not lower than average.
