Deul Pan, a slave, hopes to get married to Oh Wol, also a slave. The mistress of the house has Oh Wol's virginity taken by force out of jealousy and Deul Pan rages with vengeful thoughts. One day, his master commits a crime and he spends three years in prison in place of his master with a promise of freedom and marriage with Oh Wol.
