Divine Ring is Daebak!!!

I have nothing against Choi Ban Do and Ma Jin Joo. As a watcher, I see how hard it is for Ban Do to protect and earn a living for his family but Jin Joo's situation isn't any better. But due to some misunderstandings they end up hating and cursing each other leading to their divorce.

BUT... what I really want to emphasize here is my heart aches for Nam Gil Oppa! Huhuhu. Another Second Lead Syndrome. I love those little shy smiles and those caring eyes whenever he's with our Jin Joo. That pure and genuine love is what makes "first love" worth it.

PS. I would like to commend my fave quote in this drama.

"You can live without your parents, but you can never live without your child"

That's the major turning point that let Jin Joo decide to go back to baby Seo Jinnie!

You'll go back watching this again :)

It's written in my profile that I don't watch Rom-Coms but this one's an exception. I have come across this drama when it aired in Manila - the Tagalog dubbed version. At first, I got interested in watching this just because of the plot twist that they returned 20 years to the past. But after finishing the whole season, I realized that it is more than the romantic story of the lead characters. I appreciate more the story of Jin Joo and her Mom.

Technically, I love the production design of this film and their make-up, the wardrobe... just all. I mean showing 2 dimensions of time is pretty hard to showcase just to make the audience feel the time difference.

To be honest, this was the first-ever Kdrama that had me in tears. Almost weeping. :(

I have mentioned this in my previous review for "Tell Me What You Saw," nothing is perfect but the 9.5 rating is a just and humane rating for this drama - well-deserved!

Well, I'll let you be the judge if I am wrong. :) Happy watching!

I am not really fond of time-travel dramas, often times I avoid them because of all of those silliness and cliches that happens with them, which is why I lost a bit of interest after seeing that there will be lots of time-travel drama this year. At first I didn't really paid much attention to this series and doesn't really have any interest in watching it, so I watched it too late - I watched it after the last episode was aired but still I am glad that I did - I got so hooked into it and watched it in one sitting.

I must say that this is one of those rare time-travel dramas that I really like. Of course it's not perfect and definitely have flaws here and there - especially in the last episode but the overall experience and feelings I got while watching this drama is more than enough for me to look past over those flaws.

What I love about this drama is the realistic portrayal of a married couple who once so in love with each other but ended up growing apart due to lack of communication and understanding of each other's situation. The way they showed us how they struggle with financial difficulties, the hardship of having to lower your pride in your job because you need to - in order to feed your family. The touching way of showing us how, once in our youth we were so passionate, dreamful and full of hope for our future only for us to be hit by reality once that time comes - that not all of us may achieve our dreams, not all of us may get what we wanted but that doesn't stop us from moving forward and just keep on struggling to make a living - even though once in our youth, we had those times where we wanted money for useless things and waste them without thinking of tomorrow. I love to see how these married couple grew up and learn more in life after they traveled back to past.
My favorite scenes are those scenes with Jin Joo and her mother - they never failed to make me teared up and cry sometimes. The thought that once in our youth we may have taken their love and care for granted and ignore them but once they are gone, we will do everything just to have that moment to be with them again, to touch them again, to see them, to talk to them and all - it was so touching and really well done.

My only problem with this series is the way the writer put those usual cliche troupe near the end, it got me asking "Why?" - this drama could've been perfect without them.

Nevertheless. this is one of those dramas that will stay in my heart for a long time.

Funny, believable and touching.

I do not remember the last time I was so touched after watching the drama. I did not expect much but I what I got was an incredibly beautiful and touching story about how difficult the life can be after school. Our hopes and dreams can be crushed so easily under the pressure of real life. Been there, done there.
There were moments I was laughing so hard and crying so genuinely. Go back couple is a drama with perfect combination of humor, sadness, touching moments.....All the emotions you feel from the single characters are so real and you can easily identify yourself with them.
The cast in this drama is simply amazing. I love them all but I especially love the supporting roles An Jae Woo and Go Dok Jae. Like really guys? You made my day only looking on your haircuts. You were the korean Laurel and Hardy of the show.
I like the nice feeling I got after finishing the episodes. I am somehow comforted and that does not happen often after watching dramas.

I've never written a review for a kdrama before, but I JUST HAD to make one for this one.

This drama was honestly amazing, I couldn't stop watching it! It made me laugh, cry... laugh AND cry at the same time. I didn't expect this drama to be so deep and moving. It makes you look at your own life and reminds you of the things that you should already know but forget because of the busyness of just living your everyday life. It showed how life can take a toll on you when things get comfortable, how important it is to communicate because little misunderstandings can grow into something bigger, and how important it is to cherish those you care about because moments will become memories and the ones you cherish won't always be there. The importance of being in the moment because life flies by and you won't even realize it.

Time traveling is unrealistic but the acting made everything so believable that I didn't even care. The story line flowed beautifully. The main characters were amazing, as well as the supporting cast. The relationship between each one of them made it even more heartwarming.

I felt so many emotions watching this kdrama. Every time I cried, it was a different type of cry compared to when I would watch a typical romance kdrama. I felt like I understood the characters and how they felt, because its either I've actually been through what they were going through or I know I will be going through it in my own future.

I would 100% recommend it to everyone I can and re-watch it in the future.

Though it's pointless to be one of the many many reviews, but I wanted to raise more awareness of this drama. When I first look at the casting, I see nothing special but I can say that the actors and actresses do so well in their roles. Jang Nara cries at least twice in every episode but she is also so cute in some scenes. My first time seeing her and Son Ho Jun act and I think they act beautifully and so sincerely. Though I usually avoid time traveling dramas, but this story plot just drew me in. It has so many wonderful lessons in it and so many beautiful lines. It made me cry so much in the last few episodes. This drama was short and sweet. Though the beginning felt a bit slow, but the second half wrapped the 12 episodes together nicely. Watch it, it will be worth those 12 hours.

Every episode gave me strong emotions.

This is an excellent drama I happened to stumble upon and I have no regrets! I have not watched that many dramas but I absolutely love this one. I cried so hard and it felt good to watch this. Although I must say I have never rooted anyone like I rooted for the supporting actor (Jang Ki-yong).

I definitely recommend this. The premise may not be original or you may find it a bit cliche but this drama's take on it was amazingly great!

Always Have Kleenex Near

This is the most I've ever cried while watching a show. The storyline is heart-wrenching but realistic. Second-lead syndrome is definitely real in this. I've only ever seen people talking about Nam-Gil and Jin-Joo but I'd like to point a spotlight at Seo-Young and Ban-Do. I think they had a lot of chemistry, and I felt bad for her and Nam-Gil as you knew that Jin-Joo and Ban-Do clearly still love each other. Scenes including Jin-Joo and her mother are especially heartbreaking. Oh and be sure to have a whole box of Kleenex on you for that last episode.

I just finished this series just a year ago and i just wanted to make a review about these. The series is a complete success for me because it made me laugh and made me cry at the same time. "Don't waste your chance" would be the moral lesson of the series, since the show promotes on correcting your mistake for second chances. I was somehow relate myself from the story since there are parts where Ban Do trying to correct his mistakes somehow it ended up being failed which really hit me hard. You'll just find yourself crying if you ever relate yourself on how the story goes.

Heartfelt romantic-comedy drama with a twist of fiction

This is one of the most heartwarming drama that I've ever seen.

Although this is a romance drama, it also touches other subjects like family, youth, friends and life all in one great production. At first I thought it would be just like Emergency Couple but I was surprised when they added the element of time traveling in the story making it unique on it's own sense. The way that the introduction was presented is very realistic since it's true that in real life, marriage doesn't really mean a happy ending. Rather than an ending, marriage is a new beginning and that's how they derived the story from. Aside from the main leads' marriage issue, throughout the drama you'll come across the story of their families and also their friends during college.

Jang NaRa really made her character comes to life as a housewife who lose confidence in herself through the years of marriage and started to live her youthful years again. The acting is very natural specially on the crying scenes. More than theromantic scenes of Jang NaRa and Son HoJoon, I find the scenes of Jang NaRa with Kim MiKyung together very touching. I cried a lot seeing them together. The chemistry as mother and daughter is really there which is fantastic.

The supporting characters also made their characters come to life as their story were also included. I really felt like they were college friends and everything is very natural. The second leads, Jang KiYong and Go BoGyeol made me think twice if they are better partner for the leads. Second lead syndrome is real.

This is definitely a hidden gem in the K-Drama Land with a great idea and cast altogether. It will surely make you laugh and cry with the characters.

This movie is one of a kind story. It talks about relationship especially to married couple. It is an ordinary scenario bit it realy existed in our real world. I know going back to the future is some kind of a fiction movie but the bulk of the story is so much relevance in our lives. The truthfulness of the story really capture my heaart. The actors especially the main characters carried me away. There are brilliant bravo!!! The sincerity of the main actors brought me to tears... yeah it has a crying part but it also funny it reminds me about my struggle suring college life... hehehehe.. anyway, every episodes are full of depth that you dont want to miss it.... so watch this and you will not regret this..
