i really had high hopes for this drama but honestly don’t waste your time on this
Story
The first 10 episodes were really enjoyable, it followed the plot as promised. But after that the story just became a mess? I never understood each characters main purpose in the story. You could tell the writers tried to make drama with the love triangle, but the love triangle wasn’t even that interesting, it felt so draggy and led on.
Acting
They have so much potential but this drama really hid their potential. There were some awkward moments but they still managed to get though it.
Music
They were played randomly? I don’t get the point of the music. But the music itself was great tho!!
Rewatch Value
Honestly no. I wouldn’t watch this again.

I honestly didn't like this drama. It started out fine but spiralled downhill. I kept watching hoping that it would get better. The problems this drama has is writing and the fact that it lost its direction. There also really wasn't much romance. It doesn't really happen until the later episodes. Also, the intro was pretty long showing us what happened from the previous episode and about the last ten minutes of the episode was a mini story and what would happen in the next episode or outtakes, so there wasn't much show.

The best things about the drama to me were the ML and Sasa. I liked the way the ML carried himself and felt he was an overall good guy albeit flawed. I hated that he was blamed for everything and was basically doing all the heavy lifting in many areas, for instance when the FL's mom came around. He was also doing many things for the FL that Zheng Ze got the credit for. Sasa is the more interesting character and the story should have been centered around her. She was a great friend and had a bomb personality. The side characters were also funny, especially the apartment's security guards.

The main problem of this drama is the FL. She is childish, impulsive, annoying, dumb at times, rude at times, constantly runs from her problems, would blame the ML for things he couldn't control, etc. I could go on and on about her. If something happened she would go run and hide. Yes, we all have had times we have done the same, but it eventually got annoying when she wouldn't face things head on. There was a business meeting she was in, I can't remember what was said, but she started giggling and squealing like a 5 year old at one point. I literally could not believe that this was a grown woman. When the ML was trying confess to her she copped an attitude and was pretty rude to him... SHE LITERALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE! I've watched many dramas where I didn't like the FL lead for whatever reason, but this one takes the cake. All in all, if you do not want to be annoyed do not watch.

If you want a dramatic drama or a complicated story, it's not for you. Because this is a soothing romantic story where you can find a best friend who will never play badly on you (even if you and her love the same guy). This is where you can see an imperfect male lead but warm as the guy next door whenever you need him. If I can describe it, I can say this is a pleasant story as warm as the morning sun. If anyone loves comedy drama, it's definitely for you.

this show isn't perfect but the feeling it gives you is 10/10. its one of those sweet colourful girlish(?) types that make you feel good inside. all the characters are very cute and they follow their dreams in the big city, and the friendship is really so great and the couples are all very cute. If your looking for that kind of drama that's not about the drama/deep stuff but still has heart then this dramas perfect. i watched it whenever i was tired or feeling down. The ost is really really pretty too. the acting was really good too. im impressed with the main leads. There's a really great girl crush character and the main guy is really sweet and his "grumpy" side isn't overboard like someee overbearing ceos where you're just like, "i dont care what your past was, you cant be that mean to someone and then still like them" but yeah XD . Did i mention all the characters are really cute. and the music. so good.

The fashion in this is gorgoues and all the architecture and interior design is really really pretty too. This is one aesthetic show. It was such a pleasure to the eyes LOL.

Honestly, what a cute show. It was just a plain cute show. Had no purpose, really no context, everything was so dramatic but also just really cute. I liked the whole idea of the curse and trying to find love and then somehow love is in all parts that you could not even imagine. It was a unique story about a girl that was endlessly trying to fall in love but little did she know she was going to find it. It wasn't anything mind blowing but it was quick, easy and I stayed up to watch it and it was like time was endless tbh.

The acting was not horrendous at all, good looking and decent chemistry, everyone played an amazing part. They got over the bitter really quick and things took a quick turn, the ML and FL were great, all the friends and staff were amazing, I love a good show where they just genuinely have good friends and people in the show and you don't have to rely on just 2 people to hold down the fort.

I loved the music, good stuff, very enjoyable.

I actually probably would rewatch it.

So overall, this show was definitely good!!!

Such a sweet story. A story where any girl could feel it could be her. Cursed, but with lots of good relationships who surround her with moral support and love. This kind of support can help you through the roughest patches in life. A story of true friendship and the Relationships always evolving Around it, A loving and well intended mother, a coming of age story of young people. Very refreshing. I like that her friends help build her self-esteem and help her stay on the positive side of problems. The Setting of the story allows you to see the beautiful city and surrounding area. I’m always curious as to what it looks like in your region of the world. Another thing I liked about this was the music. Music always adds so much depth to the stories. The actors are all great both the antagonist and protagonists. Handsome lead actor and beautiful lead actress. Great job. Will watch this many more times again

Funny but the plot can be better

If you need good chuckles without having to think too much, and if you like Xu Wei Zhou (I know I do!), this drama is for you. The story is uncomplicated, there are a lot of sweet moments between the leads. And did I say that it's funny? I watched this series to keep me sane from COVID-19 isolation impact.

The comedy in the story is on point. It poked fun to 'real" people in our day-to-day lives: a mother who is too overprotective, middle age lady who enjoy "fresh blood' in the office, awkwardness when one is in love, mother-on-law to-be, and the list goes on. It's really refreshing to watch funny things that are culturally close to me.

I'd like to thank the whole cast of this series for providing me (and many others) helpful entertainment. #xuweizhou, 加油 !!!

Pretty typical drama with unique spin, good ost & acting

I'm only writing this review because I disagree with some of the reviews labeled most helpful.
Other than the slightly exaggerated narcolepsy (its a very serious issue but idk if the symptoms happen like this) and the unbelievable 30+ love confessions, the story overall is really cute. The acting was great, and like many others, my fave was Sasa (sophisticated, strong, smart, funny, great best friend). I don't really think there were any extremely annoying characters (but ofc there is a protagonist). The OST was pretty fitting. I really like Someday (on Spotify) and Lonely (not on Spotify :/).
The drama was overall funny, light hearted, and cute. Would rewatch mainly to get a few laughs. I don't think the storyline dragged on for too long...28 episodes is a good length. I'm really confused about the draggy/downhill comment (have you seen a 50 episode drama? or even a 35 episode drama that could've been 25?). The ending was good (some cliche parts but leaves an overall complete feeling).

Story:
This story was so weird to me? The FL believes she has a curse where her confessions will always fail (she's confessed like 30 times by the beginning of the story) because of something that happened when she was a teenager. (Which when you watch the actual "memory" happen, you realize she had ZERO to do with the situation, minus being in the vicinity.)

Fast forward to the actual story, you have the FL who wants to become a store window designer, the ML who is a TV producer, with major insomnia, the SML, who is overall a rich, attractive, good guy, and the SFL, who is kind of a badass, but is a bit ridiculous when it comes to guys.

*** Mini Spoiler ****

The plot was pretty standard, modern romance. Nothing that really stood out to me. What mostly doesn't make sense to me is that the FL originally really likes the SML, but when he starts reciprocating, she just . . . doesn't . . . anymore? It just wasn't really addressed more than just her saying "I just don't like him that way" even though she was super into him when they first meet.

*****

Regardless, the SML doesn't turn into some evil, bad guy (which I thought might happen when they revealed his true identity), but actually stays a good guy who helps the leads get together. Same with the SFL. She could've been a liar/backstabber, but they kept her a good person as well. The actual story wasn't super memorable to me really. It was really just a pretty standard C-drama, again a bit unrealistic, but not terrible.

Characters:

Overall decent job. Bridgette Qiao was basic cutesy FL, no major acting achievements. Timmy Xu was the best part for me, I think. He did a good job showing the different parts of his character and kept it fairly realistic. The SML and SFL were also pretty good also. No one that annoyed the hell out of me.

Rewatch value:

Not something I'd ever plan to rewatch. It just wasn't anything super special or unique. The chemistry wasn't that amazing either, so no specific reason to watch again.

"When it Comes to Loving You, I Have No Plan B" (Chi Xin, English sub)

If you are looking for a romcom drama that can captivates you to keep watching the next episode, then this is not for you. The romance is a slow burn, and the main couple do not get together until the last episode! It's not that there is no romance development, but because of their business contract prohibits them so. I keep watching until the end because of the humor and the cute stuff I will mention below.

WHAT I LIKE ABOUT THIS DRAMA
(+) It seems like the drama emphasizes more about the comedy feature than the romance one, There are plenty of hilarious scenes and dialogues.
(+) Cute cartoon that probably from the original writer Wei Xiao Bao
(+) Love the BTS cuts and mini stories in every end of the episode
(+) Remarkable camera angle and cute side-by-side screen when they're doing the same activities. Great directing. Director Yu Zhong Zhong directed tons of Chinese romance or romantic comedy dramas. I will check out his other works.
(+) Great acting of Timmy Xu as the main lead Chi Xin. He has sexy lips too.
(+) Lovely Sasa
(+) Beautiful cinematography
(+) Gorgeous costume, especially for Sasa
(+) Lots of cute OST songs in each episode. Check out the OST in Youtube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eZXlRVKn-A

WHAT I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS DRAMA
(-) As usual, draggy scenes and dialogues. I skipped a lot of them.
(-) Lots of unrealistic scenes, especially meeting by chance between Chi Xin and Xiao Rou
(-) Product placements
(-) The female character Xiao Rou is a pathetic looser IMO. Pretty, independent, employed, and only 25 years old, Xiao Rou suffers from severe lack of self esteem just because unability finding a boyfriend because of self-belief curse. Instead of working on her strength and trying to control her narcolepsy by yoga, exercise, anger/stress management, joining social clubs etc
(-) The chemistry between Chi Xin and Xiao Rou is weak IMO, due to the story line. Although there are some great kisses, and both Timmy Xu and Bridgette Qiao are comfortable in BTS cuts.
(-) You may get a Second Lead Syndrome because of the sweet caring Zheng Ze.
