Can I say that this drama is an underrated gem?
First, the story isn't so simple as it seems! There is a plot twist that's gonna AMAZE you, truast me!
Second: The acting it's actually really good ! Many JDramas tend to lack with really bad acting, sometimes rushed or just overexaggerated, things that for me make hard to follow a drama, this one is really an exception! The acting is actually pretty good, nothing confusing, there aren't exaggereted scenes (there are a lot of easily crying scenes! haha)
The stroy brought me to tears more that one times, it's super touching and also real, i mean, everyone could be involved into a car accident, but many more always had the tought of ''but, after our death, what hapens!?'', and this one it's that kind of drama!
Thrid: The lenght was perfect, it basically more a movie than a drama, since it's around just 2 hours of show, if they made a whole 10 episode or more show, i could say that this one was gonna be a masterpiece!
In the end, this one made this way into my favorite drama lists, aboslutely whort the time!!

I already feels there's something fishy start from the time Kuro gave Hotaru the rules, but I don't know what. Then my suspicions increased when I saw the last scene in the first episode, but I still don't know what the goal of this series except to help Hotaru settled her lingering regrets. As the episodes goes by, comes out more clue here and there, and I feel more like I watch a detective series than a romance, because I try to gathered the clues and makes a conclusion (^_^)

Finally I get the clear image of what's going on when Hotaru settle her lingering regrets with Ren. Truthfully, I never imagine that kind of twisted plot, but that's very interesting and touching! And the ending is somewhat between sweet, happy, bittersweet and heartwarming ending.

This series, even though just contains of 6 episodes with an average duration of 20 minutes for each episode, really can tell a story without leaving unspoken details. The story goes with the good speed, not rushing and not slow too, so that you'll feel comfortable watching it.

I watch this because I want to see another cast by Koseki Yuta and I'm not disappointed with his acting in this series ( ´ ∀ `)ノ~ ♡ But, not only him, in my opinion, the other casts' acting are superb too, they really know what they should do and have a good chemistry between each other.

The musics, whether it's an insert song or the soundtrack are great. They are really suitable to accompany this film.

“Itsuka, Nemuri ni Tsuku Hi” also known as “Someday I’ll Fall Asleep” is a short drama about resolving one’s regrets after death. The general plot of the show is nothing new and we’ve seen many other dramas about the same topic. I did not see the twist at the end (I was half-right), and this interesting twist makes the drama special.

The acting is decent and the drama for the most part is simple and easy to follow. Her regrets are predictable and not mind-blowing. So if you are looking for a light drama with a few heartwarming storylines, this is a good choice.

I’m glad our FL is not the overly, innocent type. There isn’t anyone annoying in this drama. I do find the chemistry between FL and the grim reaper much more interesting than her love interest. There’s something in the grim reaper’s eyes that I thought would have a different backstory, but I was wrong. Speaking of eyes, there’s a kid in this drama that has the weirdest expressions. He has this serious look with angry eyes, when he’s not supposed to be angry. It’s weird and cute in a way.

Not what you expected

Usually I tend to skip Japanese drama of similar genres but I saw a comment about a plot twist and decided to check it out. Turns out the ending was not cliché! The plot twist was sudden. You got to watch till the end to catch it. If one just drop the first few episodes, they would not know about the ending, but I would not say it is a rushed ending. But I don't think you will drop the first episode as there's some hints of strange happenings, and it makes you want to continue watching the unveil.

Actor's acting was alright, there's only 2 main characters in the drama and others were more like supporting roles. No romances between them both.

The pace was good for this 6 episodes of 20mins each. You can just treat it as watching a movie!

" Itsuka, nemuru ni tsuku hi " was, surprisingly, a good drama. Though I haven't watched the original korean version, this one was good enough. The pace was quick, but they managed to fit in just six episodes the whole story and the cases with her friends and family were well presented. The twist in the end, although there were some hints here and there, was unpredictable and the ending was bittersweet. The performances from all actors and actresses were really good, especially from the leading lady.

So, overall, eight out of ten.

Hidden gem!

Oh my goodness, this was a wonderful show. It's about choices we make, regrets we might have because of those choices, chances not taken, and bravery. The writing was so well-done and the actors all played their parts brilliantly. I'm not going to speak of the story itself, you need to watch it and experience it. I will say this, though, I was glad I was watching it by myself, because there was a lot of ugly crying going on! Absolutely the only reason I didn't rate it a 10 is, that's saved for shows I can watch over and over again. I'm so glad I saw this!

Initially watched this since I am a fan of Otomo Karen and wanted something new I could watch with her in and this was a pleasant surprise. Six episodes may seem too short for a drama but I think six was just enough to get the story across while still delivering an impact. The plot may be predictable since the summary/synopsis already talks about it (death, worldly regrets) but moments still hit hard and I enjoyed it more than I expected I would. This drama is one of those that makes you feel sad but understanding and warm by the end. We all need a reminder from the message of this drama once in awhile. No regrets watching this at 1AM haha

Wholesome Plot.

The story took such plot twist in the end.. I never predicted this. It took me by surprise. Thankfully there was no love angle between the grim reaper and the FL..Though its not that I hated if it did happen.. but yeah I liked it that it was a character development for her to learn to live for herself and care about herself. Live life to the fullest that's what I picked up from it. Loved it! Though I kinda built up a small crush on Kuro on the way.. Recommended if you like short dramas with a wholesome plot!
