Both films have a family focus and call out the different treatment daughters receive compared to sons. They also mention a few other female struggles but go about it a little different. Other than that the movies arent similar in tone or story, but i think are both worth a watch.

Both korean films focus on a family in which problems arise because of the supposed grave of the father. Move the Grave is about moving the grave to receive money, a decision some in the family have conflicting feelings on. Man of National Merit is about a father who is not given the honour and a burial ground that is to be selled.

Both films are about the relationship with their estranged dead Father. In "Move the Grave" they have to relocate the remains. In "Little Big Women" they have to organise the funeral. In both they cremate the body.
