Despite it all...

I can finally understand the mixed reviews concerning this drama. Incest is not something a lot of people can understand or relate to. Most are disgusted by even the thought of it. However, if you place yourself in the situation of the characters, put yourself in the drama and look at it from another point of view, this drama really isn't that bad.

It's not promoting incest, rather the tragic story of two ill-fated lovers who didn't know they were related. But there's a beauty in the fact that they felt connected to one another and truly did love each other. How does one handle finding out that the love of your life is in fact your sibling? Ryo ran away, he tried to protect her from being put under the same guilty conscience he had of their taboo act.

Overall, I don't think this drama was the best I've ever seen, and it's obviously not one everyone can get into, especially after these turn of events. But it does have a dark and bittersweet taste about it. A drama to go into with an open mind.

It's all over the place!

So they're actually siblings, I am officially disgusted! I am not that open minded to accept a romantic story/relationship between siblings, it makes me want to puke, I kept waiting until the last minute with a little hope that the blood test of the corpses will show that they're not blood related but nothing happened.

On the bright side, I am so glad that both of them died, it would've been hard for me if one of them stayed alive and it's the first time I appreciate the main leads death in a drama, when Yuko shot herself, I was clapping with happiness.
Also, the way Ryo killed Kashiwagi was pretty cool in a cold-hearted way.

I would've appreciated it better if Kanzo died along or end up crazy or something, why was he smiling at the last scene? It was all his fault from the beginning until the end, baka!

Anyway, this is totally not a drama that I appreciate, not even the slightest bit. Yes, it's twisted but all I can think about that it was disgusting, I will never tolerate this type of love stories. Well yeah, I am not open minded and I like it! Don't get me wrong, I didn't want a fluffy happy ending but I didn't want this either.
This is not my definition of something dark/twisty, darkness doesn't include incest you know!
