IRIS (2009)

Both involve the fights between North and South.

Theres is subplot in Eyes of Dawn about government spys. There are also a lot of action scenes and explosives. Both also feature foriegn locations.

Athena is a spin off from Iris. They are very similar with a different cast and a slightly different story. The action, suspense and romance are as amazing as in Iris.

Both main leads in both drama enrolled in a military like training, subsequently involved in secret mission. Both were in love but will it possible for them to be together forever?
