Oh they didn't try to hide it in this episode, I mean, the disguise wit the mask wasn't really doing its work. The vilain was recognisable. I didn't expect him to be a villain again in this drama. Will this actor get a male lead drama? Something military-ish wld suit the ruthless persona. I love what Orchid said about the medicine bitter thing. She was someone who had nobody to begin with and always alone. Myb Fairy Danyin was not that bad at all. Just spoiled. But Fairy Yulin sure was a villainess. Okay... That means Orchid also betrothed to Changheng right? She just didn't know who she really was yet.

WOOOO~ This episode as been a wild ride for real...Many people were already expecting Lord Ronghao to be mystery man, but as a person who most of the time i incapable of recognizing faces and never had previous experience of this actor and his other roles in other drama, this was a plot twist for me. I really appreciated one, though. It makes things much more interesting! He seemed a bit strange from the start, but "strange" doesn't always mean "possibly evil", so...I'm already seeing Daqiang's changes, very little ones, but they are there. Like the way he is conceding some compromises and also his relationship with Shang Que.There's something interesting in these little flashbacks he keeps getting, hopefully something more will be revealed soon! ??Xiao Lanhua seems to be this promised Goddess of Xishan or something... ?Things are getting pretty interesting!

Two lonely people meeting each other as soul mates

Xiaolanhua's character might have started as a weak, childish fairy but in this episode you can see that she makes up for it in her kindness and character. She wants to do the right thing by exposing that she got some help in the exam. I'm also happy that she developed a frenemy relationship with Danyin and some of the fairies after she saved them. I also liked that Xiao lan hua is not completely trusting, misunderstanding DFQC at the start but also owning up to her mistake of doubting him. This is also the only time she completely admits that she also feels lonely and that she's grown to like DFQC's presence.

6.0/10 - Promising.

Okay, I had kind of put aside that Rong Hao's master was the Former God of War. I was right though! The boy is a creeper. Putting the face of his master on those poor girls! Apparently angering and killing them so regularly the guards where all like "Another dead maid, drag the body away!" Yikes! So this episode was awesome because the big reveal of Rong Hao's identity! Not to mention who's body he's been stashing!! Wowza!

Let me complain about Rong Hao's flute playing. The actor wasn't even trying! Or maybe they decided it looked better fake! I don't know! But it was kind of distracting!

Onward! This was a huge character driven episode. Everyone now knows about Zhang Ling HeChang Heng's feelings for Orchid, well except her of course! I like how Fairy Dan Yin thanks Orchid. Even with her jealousy. It's revealed that Dongfang Qing Cang's father may have killed his emotions root. Interesting. I mean it's been disturbing. I was thinking maybe they were going to go the mental health way with him or something. The emotional root dead is unique.

There's also another fairy out to get Orchid and the firefly thing is an interesting setup. Rong Hao's evil henchwoman was one? Orchid fed and invited that one back into the stone. Then that other fairy who left everyone to die and hates Orchid turned a rock into one? I'm puzzled, but intrigued where that will go.

The last episode was brilliant at showing us how worthy and amazing Orchid is. I think this one was even better and Chang Heng clearly had the right idea while praising her. I'm curious as to what Orchid's real identity is. Is she a shard of the Former God of War, or the new reincarnated version? What exactly? Not to mention what is Rong Hao going to do to her now in the name of his master?
