Heart wrenching story, compelling characters and a great cast make this drama work. The child actors in the first few episodes really pull you in.. they were awesome! I missed the child Han Jung Woo even after Park Yoo Chun came.

The story is not your average melodrama. It takes you through dark and traumatic situations, and a lot of tears. In between all that, there's also some fun characters and retribution of sorts. There is a thriller element to the plot, and the background score complements that very well. I also liked how every character stays true to their nature throughout.

Yoon Eun Hye is beautiful and amazing as always. Park Yoo Chun and Yoo Seung Ho do a great job.
The only problem I felt, was to do with the way Seung Ho's character, Hyung Joon, progresses from half way into the drama. It felt a bit forced, and really, I wanted to see a different ending for Hyung Joon.

It was a good drama, though I don't think I can re watch. It's not a light watch.

Missing You is a combination of Romance, Melodrama, Crime, Mystery, Thriller and Suspense.

The acting of the main characters Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun-hye are AWARD WINNING.

This drama is a proof that both Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun-hye are very good actors.

The love story of high school sweethearts Han Jung-woo and Lee Soo-yeon were separated in a horrifying tragedy.

I love on how Han Jung-woo (Park Yoochun) believes that his long time love is still alive after all the evidences that Lee Soo-yeon is dead.

I also love the moment when he saw Zoe Lou and how he pushed to believe that this is the same person that he met before.

In this drama, I really admire the acting of Park Yoochun and Yoon Eun-hye. They are remarkable and THE BEST.

I already admire Yoon Eun-hye on her previous drama (such as Coffee Prince and Lie to Me). But watching Missing You I will now love Park Yoochun. He's a great actor.

This drama should be renamed to Mr. Steal Your Girl. This show showcased unbelievable love from the ML, who kept searching for his girlfriend for over 14 years. Forgiveness and acceptance are two main key points of this show. The two leads, Yoon Eun Hye and Park Yoochun, had a really emotional chemistry due to the traumatic experiences the two characters experienced. Yoo Eun Hye's visuals are pretty unique but beautiful. Their acting showcased sadness very well, especially since there were at least two damn crying scenes every single episode of this 21-part series. The child actors did a splendid job, even more so than the adult actors, in portraying their emotions. I felt slight pity for the antagonist, but that quickly dissipated as he was proven to be a total jackass. This show is far from perfect with its many plot holes and probably deserves a lower rating than this, but I enjoyed it so much regardless, non-stop watching it through 2 days that I can't give it any lower.

Excessive crying that I don’t feel moved anymore

This drama has a promising story that is unfortunately unfulfilled. I wish the writing and plot would be stronger. I feel like there is a lot of things they could build on but they just choose the easy route.

I know this is a melodrama, so I would expect a lot of emotional roller coaster, but I find the crying scene too excessive that I don’t even feel moved. I don’t mind crying scene every other episode or even rarer, but the crying in this series is every other minutes. Sad moment doesn’t always have to be a crying moment. It would even benefit a sad moment just by being silent or giving sad music, you don’t have to cry every time. It really annoys me towards the end, because it’s just too much.

The casting is okay. I like Yoo Seung Ho, whose playing as Kang Hyeon Jun, the second male lead. He potrays a lot of subtlety in his acting, giving his character deeper layers. He looks vulnerable but strong, weak but mad, a lot of conflicting nuances that really portrays Hyeong Jun troubled mind.

Not a fan of Park Yoo Chun. I have seen him in two other series, ‘the girl who see smells’ and ‘three days’, he always plays the same character, some kind of police officer. His acting feels flat, without layers, when I think it really needs them in this series. Han Jung Woo have a very troubled past and are still troubled, but you couldn’t see any of the vulnerability, unless he’s crying, which as I mention happen every other minutes.

Younger Jun Woo, portrayed by Yeo Jin Go, gives me a much stronger impression than Yoochun. He feels fragile, meek, but underneath you could feel his steel and determination. I have seen Jin Go in a few other series and also as ‘Hwayi: a monster boy’, and he’s always good.

The female lead is okay, not enough layers, too much crying but doing an alright job. None of the other supporting character gives me any lasting impression.

The music is good, adding to the mood but nothing memorable.

I’m not going to rewatch this drama, I have enough crying for a while after I watch this drama. There’s nothing I really remember or want to revisit about the plot.

Man, that was some decent melodrama.
This is how you handle the powerful emotions of guilt, anger, resentment, hate, revenge and ultimately love and forgiveness- yes, I can see that people complain about there being many crying scenes but honestly, what the main duo (and their loved ones) went through messes someone up for years so what did you expect?

I gotta say, all the actors did a very good job but Seung Ho as Harry stole the show- he did a brilliant job. And Harry was a charismatic "villain" that you don't stumble upon often in those kind of dramas.

There's a lot of suffering in this drama, so if you're into light hearted stuff only, yeah, no. (but then again, I guess the plot and the title gives that away anyway, so you wouldn't wait for me to announce that!) I myself don't usually watch melodramas, but this one was really well written and the direction and cinematography was very good too; obviously it wasn't perfect, not by a long shot (then again what is perfect?) but I definitely don't regret watching it at all.

I would give it an 8, but it gets an extra 0,5 because of the spell! (if you watch it you will know what I'm talking about!)

Most of the acting in this drama is excellent, especially considering what the actors had to work with.

I'm not sure what the director was thinking but there was too much crying, by everyone, all the time.
Almost every scene in the latter episodes contained crying. Yoon Eun Hye's nose was red through the whole second part. This drama could have been half as long. If you removed all the crying it would probably only total 3 episodes.

This is the first time I've seen Park Yoo Chun in a drama (I think) and despite this stupid drama, I liked him and will watch more of his dramas.

I've liked Yoo Seung Ho since Warrior Baek Dong Soo and I've liked Yoon Eun Hye since Coffee Prince but this drama almost made me stop liking both of them until i realised that they were doing the best they could with absolute drivel.

Thankfully Oh Jung Se was in this drama. Without his character, I might have killed myself before the final episode.

Finally Song Ok Sook as Lee Soo Yeon's mother, what can I say, WORST ACTING EVER, how this actress continues to get work never ceases to amaze me. She is too dramatic, so dramatic that she makes dramas boring.

Honestly, the story was good, the actors are excellent (except Song) this drama should have been fabulous. Clearly the director thinks everyone needs to be crying all the time to portray distress - in fact, it just made me stop caring about anyone except Joo Jung Myung. A little bit of understatement can go a long way and the director should learn this.

Every time I even think of this drama I want to give it a lower score on the whole. Since I've watched this drama I've been raising the original low scores I gave to other dramas. If I could give Rewatch Value 0 I would have.

Did i mention there was too much crying?

EDIT: I lowered the score, AGAIN.

honestly , this drama did draw my attention. the kids are really talented... I usually don't watch a drama in which kids have main roles but especially in this drama it was very attractive and special... not only did they act accordingly but also they used my favorite actors Yoon Eun Hye and park yoochun.this drama controls my feelings, made me laugh and cry. I watched only 8 episodes and I wasn't disappointed even for a minute

Oh Gosh, I've loved this drama so much! But what a suffering!
Maybe the story is a little too twisted, for me: relatives, illegitimate children, money, vengeance, people who are not who they say. It has been difficult to follow the story with some inaccurate subs. And then lies, tragedies, tears...

But guys: alone, Chun has sustain the whole drama. With him, all the other actors improve! Chun is perfect for this kind of role: funny, sweet, with a great charisma and a high sense of duty and justice. This is his Jung Woo.
Then, I've loved every single character of this drama, but above all the supporting characters: Soo Yeon's mom (Jung Woo's lover XD ), Eun Joo, Jung Myung (Jung Woo's wifey XD ), Ah Reum. Simply perfect.
What can I say of Soo Yeon. Bah, sometimes I've hated her so much! >.<
Come on girl: you've left your brain in France? XD
And Harry: sorry kiddo, but I've hated you the most! You're crazy, seriously, a more psychopathic version of the Big Brother. You're everywhere. Everytime. A pain in the ass! I'm a bad girl, sorry.. XD

Yes. I know, the "deus ex machina" of the evil in this drama is one and only one person... I can't say anything else. But I've hated you, too! U___U

Overall, I can give an 8 to this drama. And I thank my Sarè: thanx sweetheart for wathcing this drama with me. ;)

It makes me sad giving this drama "6" , but I just have to
at the beginning it was very very promising I even give the 1st 2 episodes a "10",
but then the twists are so tighten that they have to solve them in a very stupid way
for example that grandpa detective who knows all the answers even if there's no real evidence
also making such pure evil characters is not good considering such a character suffered alot and deserves some happiness too
The cast is actually doing there best to make a good drama but just the story line is not helping them
not forgetting the kids and their adorable acting.
I'm preparing my self for a stupid rushed and unreasonable ending
just watch it if you have some free time not if you want to enjoy a wonderful drama.

3rd kdrama that i watched.

started out great and you get hook with the story. ending was good, unfortunate for some.

story was good. well script. acting was great. music was one of the best. some dont like the way the story was because of brutality. but for me its ok part of the story.

this drama a bit of a roller coster feel. depending on how you interpret things.

in the beginning, this is story is just okay.. strory about people get bullied in their high school because of something.. i've seen so many of that scenes so i dont expect anything anymore.. but when they grow up, i started to love this drama..

in my opinion, flashback is one of good technique that can make a "roller coaster emotion". i've seen many of japan, thailand and korean drama or movie that use this technique and its success. That flashback technique in this drama is really beautiful. its so beautiful so i love every second of this drama.
