By watching 19 episodes of Missing You all I can say is, it's really a HEAVY DRAMA. You'll never end up crying while watching it. The story is a bit predictable for the viewers and I think it got way too long to be resolved. The actors are great, Park Yoochun did a very good job, his acting looks like he really got himself into the story as well as Yoo Seung Ho, who played as a villain. I'm a little bit disappointed by the role of Yoon Eun Hye because her skill as an actress is not really shown in this drama. I am still waiting for episodes 20 and 21 and I hope this drama will end up nicely.

I don't get why some ppl gave up on this drama?! I started it few days back and finally caught up with everyone and finished it today. It was really good better than what I've expected !! Let me just say this "Missing You is a drama that you'd appreciate for the acting more than the story".

Story:
it was a good melodrama not the best but it's good, at the beginning you would "think" the story will take on a certain path but then BAM everything changes the whole story change !! and that's what I loved the most not the story itself but the way it changed.

Acting: IT'S THE REASON I KEPT WATCHING
It was BEYOND WORDS !! I was amazed/stunned by their level of acting hmmm let's see who shall I begin with... definitely Yoo Seung Ho !! I already liked this guy but I never knew his talent could extend to that level I can't even find words good enough to praise his performance he is the BEST THING in this drama without "Harry" this drama wouldn't have been as intense and interesting. Harry is one of the best characters I have ever seen I'll never forget those expressions of his. My 2nd surprise was Micky I was never a fan of him and I never liked his acting (to those of you who think the same of him as me I think you should watch this drama cus you'll change your mind like I did) he was really amazing he showed me some really good acting skills and I enjoyed his character enjoyed watching him and I look forward to his upcoming dramas. Last but not least Yoon Eun Hye she proved that she's a talented actress she's not just good in romcom only she can pull off such a complex sad agonist character like Lee Su Yeon I praise her for that and I'm so happy she chose melo (as a first timer in this genre she did good very proud of her).

Music:
The OST's were good the songs went well with the story... my favorite one was (Just Look at You) I can't stop listening to it's a very beautiful song with beautiful lyrics.

Rewatch:
It's not a re-watchable drama even for those who re-watch stuff but I might go back and watch Harry's scenes (Yoo Seung Ho's character) yes !! that's how good he was.

Overall:
Missing You is a sad heavy drama that's true and it's not one of the best melodramas out there but it's certainly is the best in terms of acting/performance and that alone is more than enough reason for you to watch. There are many good stories out there but not so many with OUTSTANDING performance like this one not so many with unforgettable characters such as Harry he's the reason I gave this drama 8 (Can you believe the whole drama turned out to be so good solely because of Yoo Seung Ho (Harry)??) AMAZING really.

Missing You is a melodrama which is the genre that I like the most. It has murder, family secrets, kidnapping, etc. I really think the story was well thought out. My only complaint is that there is so much crying in this drama. I have seen other dramas like this where they got the point across with out all the crying. Now, I totally understand why we see the female lead crying through out this drama except for the 14 years that she is "missing". She goes through a lot of BS and is traumatized. However, part of me wishes that the writers had written her character to be a little stronger. Hell, even the guys cry a lot in this drama. Most of the time I don't like this kind of ending for a melodrama, but this time I think it is appropriate.

Kim So Hyun, Yeo Jin Goo, and Shin Dong Woo are a group of amazing young actors. They portray a depth of emotion that surpasses their age. Yeo Jin Goo gave an outstanding performance as the young Jung Woo. The look on his face when Soo Yeon goes through what she does (can't tell you as we can't post spoilers) is totally believable. I couldn't believe what they put Kim So Hyun (young Soo Yeon) through for this drama, but she does great.

On to the adults...Yoon Eun Hye, Yoo Seung Ho, and Micky are also good. Micky seemed to just pick up Jung Woo's character where Jin Goo left off. I was really impressed. I love Yoon Eun Hye. I have seen everything she has been in except Vineyard Man and she never lets me down. This is no exception. The surprise to me is Yoo Seung Ho. I had no idea he could play this kind of complex character. I would feel sorry for him one moment and hate him the next.

Usually I get really tired of a lot of extra characters, but this time I think that it was ok. They don't focus on them a lot and they actually add to the story. I think the actors were good too.

The music is ok also.

I probably won't rewatch it.

If you like melodramas, then this is definitely a must see drama.

Let's just get straight to the point..

Story: typical melodrama.. The love triangle and revenge.. mixed with a tears here and there (so far I noticed, there were NO EPISODE without tears involved in it). The early episodes are extremely fine. The story about a new boy in neighborhood who dare to become friends with a psychologically-and-physically-wounded murderer's daughter raise my expectation really high.. but then, after they parted ways, 14 years later, I do feels that the story.... can't meet my early expectation. The more I watched it, the more I lost interest (honestly, I've even thinking about dropped this drama) I barely managed to finished this drama though, just out of curiousity. The ending though (yes it's a happy ending) could've been better.. 1 episode extension only made the ending looks dragged.

Acting & Cast: THE BEST THING FROM THIS SERIES. seriously, I admire everything.. The child actor, Yeo JinGoo & Kim SoHyun really blow me away with their acting. The senior actor also did a terrific job. Yoon EunHye, well, her acting as we all know is outstanding.. But I have to say that her chemistry with Yoochun is not as much as I expected though.. I especially stunned with Yoo SeungHo's acting as Joon. Even though his character is not my favorite, but his acting is so..... perfect! *officially marked him as one of my favorite actors*.. The supporting roles are GREEEATTTT! I really love their interaction and they do supporting the storyline.

Music: Not much memorable.. Byul's song is remarkable though..

Rewatch value: I personally don't really rewatch dramas. But if I put myself on other people's point of view, I didn't see this drama interesting enough to be rewatched.

Overall: This drama is just.... good. The story is ordinary, typical melodrama. Tear-jerker, yes, for some people (I personally didn't cry even once though).. But if you want to see best actors and best acting of the year, you definitely come to the right place (it's not easy to do crying scenes you know.. and they've done it in every episodes.. LOL XD)

Cast-
Well this was quite an anticipated drama as it had an amazing cast. Many Yoochun fans began watching this because of him but perhaps later found that the storyline was quite interesting. Yoo Seungho was also another new rising actor and I think that he played his role really well. The only character whose tears brought tears to my eyes. The young actors were really great as well, the acting was exceptional and was a great start to the drama. I kinda missed seeing the young actors after the first few episodes but luckily we got to see a few flashbacks.

Story-
I really liked this plot as it was quite interesting. The ending had a twist but it wasn’t as satisfying as I had hoped it would be. The one episode extension was nice as I feel the writers changed the ending however I think that if they had not changed it, and stuck to the original, it could have had a longer lasting impression. Not gonna spoil it here for you :D I really liked watching this melodrama, though there were a bit too many crying scenes at times- but hey this is a melodrama right?

Music- The music was nice but it didn’t really stand out to me. The ending song was nice but it did seem quite dramatic XD

Rewatch value-
As much as I liked it, I don’t think I’ll be rewatching this drama. It did have some slow parts but not as much as other dramas.

Overall I recommend it to people who are a fan of the 3 main characters as they act really good in this drama. It’s quite emotional and has lots of tears so be prepared to shed a few tears here and there. I really liked the hair clip thing throughout the drama and the ‘Swaaah’ lol

To be honest, this is a drama that you may either absolutely love or not quite enjoy.

The performance from all the actors was, to my opinion, absolutely fantastic. Usually children appear excessive or not great, but all the child actors were convincing and at moments truly heart-wretching. The adults I found were also amazing.

The story was, admittedly a bit excessive and dramatic at moments. There was also, in my opinion, too much crying. So why am I giving it a 9? Well, even if it was excessive, it was really convincing! The performance was so great, that I found it hard to not cry along with the actors.

All actors, even the anti-heroes were brilliant. Honestly, it was difficult deciding whether to support the main guy or the "evil" character.

I find it difficult to recommend this drama without knowing what type of person is going to watch this. If you like tear-jerkers with great performance and somewhat of a resolving ending, then I would recommend this. If you like the main actors, I think it will be an enjoyable experience. If you are not someone that enjoys this genre, then I would not recommend watching this drama because you will not be entertained or be completely captured by it.

Overall, I absolutely loved it, but I can understand if one may not enjoy "Missing You."

I just cannot understand why this drama was extended when it didnt have any substance for even 10 episodes.
Well it did start off interestingly, the story developed when the characters were young. The child actors did a wonderful job and as they grew up the story started dragging, and getting from bad to worse, finally they ddnt have anything else to say so they kept repeating flashbacks to flashbacks.... so annoying.
Like previaouly stated by other viewers, the crying was a major part of this drama. By that I mean all the actors were made to cry and cry for no valid reason, any random diagloge and the tears were flowing...what was worse absollutely nothing made you feel emotional enough to cry and seeing the actors be cry babies was really not a pleaent sight. I guess they were just testing the limits of their crying abilities.
All rants aside, I did watch the whole drama (just skipped 18 n 19 ep and ff the last one and some of the previous ones, although I didnt miss much) I guess I started it so I wanted to finish it like a loyal fan of all the actors. The best part were the three main actors who are amongst my fav ones. Crying apart it was nice to watch them even with this boring story.
Verdict: Very mediocre drama, I would only recommend to ppl who are fans of the actors, have high tolarence for pointless crying and dont mind the endle ss flashbacks, but if you skip it, you wont miss much.

This is the worst melodrama i ever seen. Sorry to say.
The story just too slow and the main character (SooYeon and JungWoo)just too lame and naive.

I won't denied their acting was brilliant. I just hate the story and the ending.

I hate SooYeon and JungWoo scene, can't feel the chemistry between them so in a few of last episode i often skip their scene.

The only character i loved is HyungJoon, because even if he's kinda manipulative and psychopath, He never leave SooYeon alone like what JungWoo did. Like it or no, HyungJoon's the one who saved SooYeon lifes, brings back her smile, and it's because of him too SeeYoung living good as a designer. And she dumped HyungJoon like a bitch who don't know how to thank you. Even worse she dumped HyungJoon for a man that leaves her alone after she's being rape in front of his eyes. What a fool.

You can guess that I was hoping SooYeon ended up with HyungJoon or at least HyungJoon died with pride.

Oh ya, i like real Harry characters too. Did anyone know what happened to him at the end?

I like the story and the overall theme, but I like the acting more. YEH and her mother was great in this drama, beside other actors and actresses.
There are many heart touching scenes in relations between lovers, families, friends and even stranger people.
The locations are well chosen and you'll be faced with modern cars, devices and furniture.
You may read somewhere that this drama id dragging from early episodes, but with all the words against, it worth a watch IMO.

It's nothing for soft-hearted persons!
I really liked this drama. Even though I do agree on other reviews that the serie was torn apart into every piece, but I liked that aspect. Otherwise it wouldn't have been a real crime serie!
But the story is marvellous. It's construct shows a real difficult and interwined system and their people involved, but they found a great solution, so everyone understands the serie.
The Cast was also very persuading. I really cried a lot watching these people having hard times even though I have to say that the main relationship lacked a little bit. It wasn't as strong as I thought it was, even though several actions shew their deep bond.
The music was well choosen. A sad thing was that they only had a small amount of music, so some music came all the time, which annoyed me sometimes.
When it comes to the Rewatch Value, I don't really recommend it. You get the plot very well and as soon as you watch it again, you know directly what happens. It's that type of serie which explains the most important details in the end and if you watch it from the beginning with the knowledge of the end. Everything is ruined...
Overall I give this drama a 9, but my personal liking is a 10, because the actors were very good. I don't understand those low ratings, because this drama uses the Hitchcock style in a special way and it makes you hyped to go on watching. I never felt like stopping!

I had mixed feeling about this drama.

First, I expected too much from it. Although it was a good melodrama, I think it becomes a bit too much "melo" as the story goes on for me to continue watching it. Especially, around the middle of the story, there was too much 'crying' and becomes a bit boring with this Lee Soo Yeon and Zoe thing. That's why I dropped it.
But I am glad that now, I picked it up and finished it because later episodes gets more intriguing.

Let me review it in a bit more details.

Story- it has everything in it, first love, revenge, money, justice and so on. I like how everything just fit into a single piece. But, like I said, the story was directed in a bit boring way, while trying to get the audience teared up too much.

Acting - From the beginning, I watched it because of the cast. And I think my decision was right. Yoochun played Han Jung Woo very well. Yoo Seung Ho was also amazing, playing out Kang Hyeong Jun. In fact, he was my favorite character in this drama. He has a dark but interesting and most pitiful character. But I find more chemistry between Yoo Seung Ho and Yoon Eun Hye instead of YC and YEH. Am I the only one? Maybe I was too overwhelmed by the two's too much crying thing.

Music - I think it has great music. one OST that gets my attention was Wax's Tears are falling.

Rewatch value - I don't wanna rewatch it because it is too much melodramatic. And usually, I rewatch dramas just for my favorite scenes. But in this drama, I didn't find any favorite scenes so, I won't rewatch it.
