If you crave a happy ending
This movie is basically the real ending for the drama by the same name. It has a happy ending, but the story felt drawn out and pointless.The FL goes back to acting young and immature which is jarring considering all the growth she experienced in the drama.
Luo Huantong makes a reappearance with absolutely no explanation as to how he survived.
Overall, this ending should have been edited severely to cut unneeded scenes and added to the series as the last episode to give it a more complete feel.
Honestly, it's only value is that it gives our FL and ML a truly happy ending... which is a good enough reason to watch it.
Overall, the acting is meh and so is the plot, but worth a watch if you're the type that needs happy endings as much as I do :-D

The movie is a sequel that could've been added to the drama's ending and the viewer would not waste 1 hour and 15 minutes to get a fairytale ending. Although the movie provides an explanation as how the leading male recovered, it has a comical atmosphere and lacks a loving mood. The movie also brings back some of the cast from the drama but there is no real plot that can be considered a continuation for these characters. The most bizarre character is Xiao Qing Ting [Little dragonfly] which is obviously Luo Han Tong from the drama and there's no explanation as how he made it back to life after his gruesome death in the drama. Overall, just watch the last eight minutes of the movie to get your happily ever after ending! Was this review helpful to you?

Após a série é altamente recomendado você ver o filme. Acredito que, para aliviar o peso do sofrimento, voltaram com o filme e realmente deram um final feliz ao casal. Sim ele faz uma ligação com a série e começa na cena com ele tossindo sangue. Mas incrivelmente se torna sem sentido com personagens voltando a vida, ameaça de triangulo amoroso, tentaram descer goela abaixo algumas intrigas para que fizesse sentido dar a eles um final feliz. O filme é extremamente mal feito (historia), se passa todo em um deserto e pouca coisa faz sentido depois daquele turbilhão de emoções da serie. Transformaram a FL em uma ciumenta e o ML em uma pessoa extremamente alegre e curada. Apesar de tudo recomendo para tirar o gosto amargo da tristeza da série. É refrescante.
O combo série e filme devem ser assistidos sim, o filme foi feito para isso, mas poderiam muito bem fazer dele os capítulos 37 e 38, e ela sem duvida seria uma das melhores séries que foram feitas, pode até ser comparadas a Story of Yanxi Palace.
