Park-Park Bromance: The Best!

I throrougly enjoyed this series from beginning to end. It was heartwarming, funny, made me cry at times, and thrilling to follow through each cases. One saddening thing about this show is its almost three-week halt and the need to change Park Sam Soo’s actor in the last four episodes of the show. Despite this, I waited and managed to finish the show.

Jung Woo-sung did an amazing job on taking over Bae Seong-woo’s role after his departure from the show. But I think Bae Seong-woo still is the perfect fit for the role. I really enjoyed his acting from Episodes 1-16. He’s really a good actor if not only for the controversy he faced while filming the show. I regret that he didn’t get to finish this series.

Although the finale was satisfying, Episode 20 definitely felt really rushed and I wanted to see more of how the last case was resolved and the hear the specific verdict. I felt the build-up was lacking and the closure weak. The two cameos at the end were a nice touch, too. I didn’t see that coming. The finale is good but it could be better. Maybe there’s a Season 2 coming out? I don’t know but the ending is really open-ended. Overall, I really liked it and if there’s a Season 2, I might watch it if Bae Seong-woo will be back. I loved the bromance of this show!

Fight for truth and justice despite the odds

Likes
1. Loved the Park Tae Yong and Park Sam Soo, they both want money and success yet they forego of it to pursue justice. I also loved the actors. KWON sang Woo is ageless, Bae Sung Woo is crazy fun and Jung Woo Sung is too tall and handsome to be sloppy and goofy 🥰
2. Drama was less about legal scenes but more on exploring the feelings of the wrongly accused and the real killers. Ep 9-10 were 😭. This drama had a lot of sincerity and heart, without being too preachy.
3. We know there are really a lot of corrupt people in the government, from the police, prosecutors, mayors to judges. It is hard to change the system. But we should also remember there are good guys out there willing to work hard to ensure justice and truth.
4. I loved the ensemble cast, from the 4 main baddies to Tae Yong's tight circle of friends.
5. Also loved the last minute cameos of Lee Jong Hyuk, Lee Elijah and Lee Jung Jae.

Dislikes
1. The drama spent too much time on the truck murder case, almost 10 episodes that sometimes there were too much flashbacks, too much rehashed scenes and conversations (How many times did i near I'm Han Sang Man??" I wished they kept the drama at 16 episodes (18 at most) instead of 20.
2. The final episode was okay but too convenient. The Seungwoo principal and director easily apologized to everyone. Also it felt like they didnt really take down the bad guys. Im sure they'll be back after the publicity has died down. So goes back to what did Taeyong and Samsoo actually accomplish?
3. I thought Tae Yong wanted to change the system that's why he is running for a seat in Jongno, but he ended up foregoing the chance and work on the ground. It was okay but he will never change the system if he stays small. Let Samsoo do the ground work and he goes up the chain.

Rating: 8/10

The most emotional court drama I've ever seen ,, injustices can be fought with high moral values

I though at first that this drama is just procedural court or detective drama similar to many dramas of the same genera that I've watched before
My thoughts were way off ,,, it's different
The heart breaking stories of the people wrongfully imprisoned had me bawling ,, I cried a lot
the two main leads were loud and sometimes silly to be honest but they had good hearts and good judgment when it comes to people's who are wronged and got punished for crimes they didn't commit ,, also it strikes them close as it reminds them always of their own families and their own struggles in life that's really relatable
I was so sad of How cruel this world is towards the weak and the unprivileged people
they are discarded and treated awfully because of their mentally challenged conditions or because they are poor or both
the first case was so emotional and so heartbreaking ,, I felt infuriated and wanted justice for the three young men badly
the other cases were also emotional but not the same as the first one ,,, the story dragged a bit with the second case but got resolved beautifully too
I loved the human connections ,, the script was amazing and the characters were played right
the humor was okey but wasn't my favorite ,, all I can say it was a try to lift the intensity a bit of the drama
all the dramas elements were great,, it's really enjoyable to watch and engaging
very optimistic idealistic drama
of course it's not realistic enough because in real world there isn't enough justice or the people who are wronged get their apology from the people who wronged them
I Recommend this drama so much for people who likes emotional stories and moral messages behind it

A side note

the actor who got replaced was great in his role but of course the drama was too good to get cancelled because of his real life wrong doing ,, the message they were trying to send would be ruined so it was the right decision they resumed the drama in the last four episodes with another actor who tried so hard to imitate the actor who got replaced
but unfortunately that was the wrong call
he couldn't replace him ,, and his character seemed separate from the other one got me disappointed and didn't enjoy the last four episodes
I thought they should have killed the other one on script or made him travel or something and introduce a new character with his own style to replace him in the story

It is what it is... Not bad

First things first. One of the male leads gets switched out for a new actor after episode 16 - I've seen a bunch of complaints but I have to go say that it was decently done. I particularly like how they played with it, comments like "you've changed!?" or "there's something different about you" show that the people involved in the making of the drama acknowledge that a new actor has arrived in place of the original.

Second, to the comments that the series should have been cut after episode 16... There wouldn't have been closure and it was obviously written in 3 "acts" where e 17-20 are the final one. Too many things had been set up in previous episodes.

It's a fun and silly drama. The two main characters 쌍박 are a bit OTT and the "fighting" between them and then the "cringe worthy" making up with the finger hearts 🫰🏻 are playful. The topics that they are dealing with are very heavy and this playfulness and silliness prevents the drama from becoming too gloomy and broody. It was entertaining while I watched it... Would I watch it again... I don't know.

One life doesn’t mean more than another ones

At first I drop this drama, just because it didn’t seem interesting. But I’m glad that I decided to go back and watch it, and I have to say it’s a good thing I didn’t drop it. This drama is heartbreaking and heartfelt, I feel like the ML’s deserves so much better, they deserve everything they did for there victims. But yet you can’t help others just to gain something back, even if they did except something back at first, I understand there situations because not everyone is born in a good environment or rich family. But they kindly help others even when they can’t support them self . But every case makes them realize how much a case have effect them both dearly, because everyone have there own stories, or similar to there’s. It’s a drama that will make you cry every time or should I say every case they have it’s heartbreaking. This drama really have me going, such an amazing drama and cast I total recommended for anyone who haven’t give it a try You won’t regret it

Ageless Kwon Sang Woo

It is so good to have the ageless Kwon Sang Woo back in a crime/law/justice investigative drama; I love him in these types of roles. He’s another example of an amazingly versatile actor able to seamlessly deliver terrific performances balancing acts that’ll make you think while laughing yourself silly. Coupled with the prolific Bae Sung Woo, Delayed Justice promises to have no shortage of visual gags and running jokes while at the same time fighting for judicial victims falsely accused. I look forward to an enjoyable ride, along with so many tremendously great actors.

Straziante ma divertente

Storia
