No one is normal in this drama

Every single character is off their rockers lmao. It's a funny drama but I can see we're going to have some serious moments too in the future episodes.Vincenzo's whole italian thingy is a bit cringe but kudos to SJK for trying, I guess? XD

Let down

I love SJk!! And I have just started to watch episode one with excitement but as soon as I heard the voice of the lady lawyer my interest vanished. If that person is dubbed why oh why would you have someone sound like a teenager putting on a false American accent. Over the top completely! Not actresses fault but voice dubbers fault. Not sure if I want to go on.

Loving the development so far!

So far, the development of the story is good. Not trying to delay things or lengthen the storyline. Vincenzo aka Song Joong-Ki is doing quite a great work here too. The character Hong Cha-Yeong aka Jeon Yeo-been too. her acting skills are amazing too. Her iconic walk! well...

[italian chef hands]

Seeing quick clips of this on TikTok and hearing good things from others, I didn't realize how funny this show was going to be. I decided to try watching Vincenzo with my husband; like most cis men over the age of 25, he had to choose between enjoying woodworking or enjoying TV shows about organized crime, and, well, there's a poster of The Wire in our house. We both really enjoyed the first episode, both the intrigues being set up as well as the comedy. The """Italian chef""" was a big highlight, but I'm excited for Yang Kyung Won to chew more scenery in future episodes, as I really enjoyed him in Crash Landing on You.

So far so good, got a nice hook

So far I feel like I might predict some of the directions this will end up going in but I hope we get some unexpected twists. My favourite scenes were when he lit that place on fire and dangled that guy from the window XD

Good teaser for deeper plot I hope

Good to see Song Joon Ki acting again. Felt he missed out in Space Sweepers as none of his lines were longer than a sentence. He was so good in “Nice Guy”, and am hoping for more proof of his acting ability in this series.Good fun premise, Italian scenery, a bit of grit and a bit of goof and inevitable romance... isn’t that why we are here? Looking forward to more.

The drama started on a good note! I'm…

The drama started on a good note! I'm getting some Nice Guy vibe a bit, since Vincenzo had a slight similarity with Kang Maru. Loved the comedy in this first episode, but then considering the screenwriter was the same person who did Fiery Priest and Chief Kim... it's of no surprise that the comedy hit the right notes for me. Choyoung gave me the same impression as Fiery Priest's Gyeongseon so I'll be looking forward to see if she'll end up joining the good guys later on.

Bravoooo!

My faves of the tenants from hell are the laundry master and the Italian chef HAHAHA! They are so funny LOL.The first 10 minutes opening in Italy, damn that was remarkably badass AF. I didn't see the comedy tag before starting so it really comes as a surprise to me and i really enjoy it. The comedy didn't feel slapstick so far and i can't wait to see more of Vincenzo's chemistry and teamwork with the building tenants. The FL actually reminds me of Honey Lee from The Fiery Priest, and their characters are so similar, the greedy lawyer type. I wanna know what was her backstory that made her so greedy. Overall a very impressive first episode. SJK speaking and cursing in Italian sounds so sexc and he is fckin killing this role!!!

Spectacle, spectacle, spectacle!

After an amazing opening shot, this pilot gave me all it needed to give. I applaud the production value because every drop of the budget was soaked tf up. I loved the soundtrack and the score too, fitting the tone very well and greatly creating atmosphere. I truly enjoyed this as a refreshing new K-drama that promises wholesomeness and action and drama. I'm excited to keep seeing what happens. Great writing & acting, some really charming characters in the Plaza and really funny moments. What does concern me however, is the sheer amount of drama in this 1hr 30 minute episode. I think after starting with such a grand literal bang, the show did transition well into another tone... and stayed there. I think that it set a really interesting tone and I was excited to see how this light-hearted tone would blend with the more action focused one... and it didn't. However, I am aware of talks of this being a 20 episode season - and with episodes this long? They've got a lot of time to address the tonal issues. I look forward to seeing how it's done.

I'm already in love with Song Joong-Ki's character. lol. His loyalty and sass literally make this show IMO. lol I'm ready to see what will happen next. Also, screw that racist dude. -_- I hope he gets throat punched.
