One of the silliest but most relatable dramas you'll ever watch!
This is my first review, so I'm sorry if it is all over the place.This drama was everything I didn't think I needed. First of all, I was so close of not watching it because I couldn't find subs for the first episode for a whole week after its release. I was desperate to watch it because its plot seemed fun and silly. So, when I was finally able to find the first episode with English subs, I watched it immediately and fell in love. It was x10 funnier and sillier than I expected but so good. Oji was so relatable because, since he was considered a cool and respected guy at his job, he worried so much that his coworkers would find out that he liked cute things. When he met Kenta and became friends with him I felt so happy for both of them because they had found a person they could trust and share their interests with. Both of them were fantastic and their chemistry was off the charts to the point I actually thought they liked each other more than friends. I squealed, smiled, and laughed so many times during each episode. The ending was perfect for me and tied up, in my opinion, everything that needed to be tied up. This drama was absolutely fantastic and so relatable because many people are scared of sharing what they like with others. They are scared of being made fun of, so when they find someone they can trust, it is the best feeling ever. I wish this drama was longer because I really need moreeeeeee, that's why I didn't give it a 10/10. This is definitely one of the dramas that I'll re-watch over and over because it's short but so good and entertaining. I seriously recommend it!

I really wish there was more of this show, it was really cute! Though I can see where a couple of people in the first few comments may be right, there is a little bit of a BL undertone towards the end of this story, however, it doesn't really overtake so much as match the meeting of new friends while trying to get over prejudices within the community. That being said, this show is one of the most heartwarming and silly shows I've seen in a while!Even though this show is only 5 episodes, and I do believe the manga is still continuing, it was really wonderful to watch each character grow as a person from beginning to end; which is why I suppose I would like to see more episodes of this show! The acting for each person was really genuine and very spot on to each personality. I feel like the actors and actresses really did their best to respectfully and honestly bring each persona from the manga to life!
The story line itself was kind of easy to see, however, it did seem rushed in a couple of episodes and slow in a couple of others; but that feeling didn't really drag on, and although it stayed within the manga storyline throughout the show, I feel that this series definitely has a very strong life of its own!
A cute and charming show to watch if you're just getting into Japanese television, it has something for everyone! With such an outstanding cast, it also is a great doorway to enjoying other shows!

Una comedia con un profundo mensaje sobre la importancia de la amistad y la comunicación
Anoche terminé de ver “Ojisan wa kawaii mono ga osuki” (el señor que le gustan las cosas cute/lindas) protagonizada por Mashima Hidekazu e Imai Tsubasa (del dúo Tackey & Tsubasa) me encantó le doy un 9/10, es una comedia corta de 5 episodios con excelentes actuaciones que trata sobre un señor de 40 y tantos años que es divorciado, le va super bien en el trabajo, todos sus subordinados lo admiran, es cool y elegante, pero tiene un secreto que nadie sabe y es que le gustan las cosas cute, a partir de allí se desarrolla la trama. A pesar de ser una comedia, la serie es muy tierna y trata muy a profundidad el tema d la amistad, lo bonito de compartir las cosas que te gustan con alguien más que lo comparte y que los sentimientos deben expresarse para poder ser transmitidos, me sacó lágrimas en algunos de los episodios y me sentí identificada con muchas cosas, adicionalmente vemos el tema cultural en Japón sobre las cosas cute/tiernas que son muy populares en toda la población. Me hubiera gustado que tuviera más episodios ya que algunas cosas quedaron inconclusas, pero en resumen, muy recomendada 👌🏻 ví que viene un Special pronto que seguro va a estar excelente y espero que cubra las cosas que faltaron.Was this review helpful to you?
