This series were tailored to be as short and as perfect as it is!

This short series consist of different issue they cater for each 2 episodes. It could be a stand alone for every 2 episodes but there's a fine string that connects them all. The biggest lesson they carry were: each and every person you found on street has their own story of struggles. The script was really well written! You could find scattered nice quotes to pamper your heavy heart. Not to forget that every frame is this series is so aesthetic. The visual effects are superb! Since this series is short, you could finish them in a day- in between waiting for the next episode of you currently watching dramas, on buses, everywhere.

The actors were well chosen but I wish the FL shows her gentler side just to match with the mood of this series. But yeah it doesn't affect much. Still I love their interaction! The only setback of this series is it is too short that you wouldn't see development of relationship between the actors. I wish it could be longer but yeah that's it. It ended.

Seriously you won't regret watching this!
I just love that despite being short stories, it is filled with so much emotions <3
*I teared a little bit. Just a little.

A Pleasantly Mature Storyline

Considering that this drama is relatively short, it manages to accomplish quite a lot. I appreciate the different topics that it covers, and the way it handles them too. Every character we meet is sympathetic and relatable, and deals with genuine, and serious, problems. The plot is serious without delving into angst-territory.

I became interested in actor Lee Soo Hyuk after seeing him as the villain in Scholar Who Walks in The Night, and I must say that he does a splendid job here. He's terrific in brooding, supernatural roles. I look forward to seeing him get more main character roles. The others do a great job too, and elevate scenes significantly when needed. I must applaud the actress Choi Su Jin and the girl playing her young counterpart. Their dynamic in their respective episode was amazing to watch.

Overall, in a drama that is about movie length, we get a great story, good synergy between actors, and lovely visuals on top of it. I loved the look of everything in the store!

The voice!

I'll be the first to say that this wasn't much of a romance. A slow burn that never ignites, perhaps? That being said, I still enjoyed it. The premise was very original and if for no other reason, it's worth watching just to hear Lee Soo Hyuk speak in his deep, mesmerizing voice.

Where he was getting ready to design clothing and feeling the fabrics that were on the mannequin, there was something very sensual about this.

The show was multiple stories, each standing on its own merit. My only complaint is that a few of the women looked an awful lot alike.

It's a short drama, I watched it on YouTube. I would highly suggest watching it, if only for Lee Soo Hyuk. It was good to see him in a leading role.

I wish this was longer (in a very good way!)

The kind of fantasy dramas I usually watch and like seem to commonly have the theme of main character helping/saving others and not just ml fl falling in love. And this short drama is one of it!! I actually didn't know what to expect, I really started watching because I was curious of Lee Soohyuk. It turned out to be really nice and comforting, with some spices of fun and laughter from the relationship between the main trio. And honestly, the ending seemed very obvious and to be expected, but it's okay cause I wouldn't want it any other way, honestly. Watching it made me felt happy, but it feels kinda a bit sad because there's only so little episodes with short duration, I finished watching it in one sitting for around 2 hours. I really wish this could've been a full 1 hour duration per episode drama instead, the tailor shop would have shown more than 4 customers. I think there's also a lot of potential for them to show more of Woven and Joey's lore and their whole past and all. I think if this were a full drama they also could've shown the tailor shop and it's state and the customers in like maybe around 90s, 80s to show how they developed, how they were before they met Sarang. But anyway, this was a really nice watch!!!

Watch this show!

I was sceptical of the short episode length. I am used to watching 60-90 minutes per episode and this show is about 15-20 minutes per episode (Some even shorter). Still I loved every second of it. The acting is superb, the healing themes are well executed in my opinion and the pace of the show is quick but enjoyable. I only wish there was a second season.
If you have 2 hours to spare, definitely watch this show!
I use my evenings to binge drama's after work and this one made me sleep in early and with a healed heart. The ml and the fl where great in their roles and the second ml was so sweet. If they ever make a season 2 I will be among the first to watch it.

Beautiful, but too short

Oh, I really liked this mini-drama! I missed seeing Lee Soo Hyuk as the main protagonist. It was my first meeting with Lee Su Ji and I can not say I was really pleased all the time, but I liked her character. I loved the cinematography and the music was ethereal. Unfortunately, Handmade Love was too short and some scenes were a bit boring, others were epic tho. The concept was so interesting and I think they could have done so much more (not just 8 episodes of 10-20 minutes).

If you are looking for something interesting and relaxing to watch, I really recommend this! It felt like a light and easy movie.

It is a good show to watch if you are wishing to relax, it isn't messy and dramatic

I enjoyed this webtoon, because it was short and sweet. I really related to the FL issues with her mother and i felt really touched by the struggles the mother was facing (I acc cried :( haha). One thing I didnt like about the story was the hints of romantic interest between the ML and FL because they had no chem and it was seems pointless, but I know it was included to let the ML understand the human emotion of love. But that was such a minor thing. It was a little dull in the first ep tho. But I continued to watch it because how good the production was and like the choice of set was really beautiful, esp the tailor shop and its flower decorations. I was a little only because of the clothes being so unexpectedly plain and ordinary, but maybe there was a greater meaning behind it, or maybe they had a very small budget. I would say you should watch it if you are bored.

I can definitely assure you that you will enjoy every minute because it is unique.

In general, the drama has a great storytelling. It was a great concept to have the mini-drama to focus on Wobeun, the god who has been expelled from heaven, tasked with making clothes for humans for their consolation. views towards humans and how it is; With his powers, he would help heal the emotional wounds of his clients who had come to him to ask him to make clothes for them as he had learned more about human emotions.
The story is compelling, but what I like most about Handmade Love is that although the episodes are short (I think the longest is about 22 minutes) each one of them holds a lesson.
You will reveal a lot, in each episode you see a different story, a different emotion and it's fun, I won't spoil anything for you but

short and sweet

..............................................................................................................................................
The plot was well done and didn't leave any loose ends, which was quite surprising considering its length :)
The cast was spectacular as well, didn't expect such natural acting.
Overall a sweet short watch.

Valuable Lessons

I thought that the story of this drama was good. It wasn't the best but it sure had some valuable lessons. I would have liked it more if they spent more time developing the main leads' relationship rather than the side characters' own stories, but I guess that's how they would teach us lessons. As with the cast, I can say that the thumbnails really attracted me with those visuals. Though I wasn't really impressed with the acting, after I found out that the main female lead was an idol (Lee SuJi of Real Girls Project and The Ark) and the main male lead was a model, I was satisfied. My favorite character will forever be Joey because of his goofy nature. One thing that I was very disappointed about was the outfits. The whole show was centered on a tailor shop, so let's just say I expected WAY more from the costumes (or maybe I just appreciate fashion as a form of art). Since I watched it as it aired, I would say that I kept VERY up to date with the coming episodes. Overall, I would recommend it as a quick mini-drama binge.

The pros:
-This is simply put a delightful drama, it offers nothing new but it's just the perfect side of warm and whimsical.

-With a ML tailor-made for Lee Soo Hyuk. I love Woven as the no nonsense, tough love, but ultimately well-meaning kinda lead

-It’s a beautiful show to watch, I mean is has Lee Soo Hyuk, so of course it’s beautiful, but on top of that, all the locations especially the tailor shop have a dream-like quality.

-This is one of those dramas that would benefit from having more episodes, just to give the ML more room to develop his character

The cons:
-It didn’t have enough Lee Soo Hyuk, sometimes he looked more like a guest star than the actual leading man.

-I was bothered by the lack of chemistry between the ML and both the FL and the servant/best friend, perhaps this is due to the lack of time to further develop these relationships, but each of their interaction felt forced, and frankly I could do it without the unnecessary romance. The only chemistry was between Woven and the clothes, which made me discover a whole new kink, but that's not here not there.

-The FL was comically bad at acting, and it didn’t help that I wasn’t very fond of her character

-And sorry to say, but the clothes were ugly af

All in all, a short and easy watch. I would 100% recommend

Wish it was longer!

Finally Lee Soo Hyuk gets a leading role he SO deserves!! He's great, as always, and he's the perfect fit for Woven, a beautiful but seemingly cold god hiding a deeper, passionate core.
I really wish this was a full-length drama with 16 1- hour episodes, or a full- length movie. There's certainly a lot here for a really great full-length drama. Woven is a fascinating god, the beginning connection to the "Tale of the Woodcuter and the Fairy" is very intriguing, but these mini 19- minute episodes don't develop any of the stories fully. But I do love the format of the different, individual stories of people who come to Woven's design house. I've already watched eps. 1 - 5 twice. Can't wait for the final three!

The set of the tailor shop/ design house is magnificently artistic and beautiful, and it fits the character of Woven as a Nature/ Woodland god.
