Two sisters, Ching-ping and Pai Hung struggle to find a workable act after their magician father and younger sister leave to try their luck in Taiwan. A good friend gets them cast in a new movie, and the rest is history…. This film is a glitter-clad endorsement for women in the entertainment industry, that they like their male counterparts can be artists and performers and fulfill their wildest 'pink dreams.' Also, the underlying implication is the value of personal integrity and self-worth in the face of poverty and hard-won success in order to achieve the aforementioned dreams. The muffler is love!
