Li Jin fell in love with poor boy Feng Zhiwei, and their romance was strongly opposed by Li's family. Feng Zhiwei borrowed money from his friend Tao Guoquan and decided to go to Singapore to start a business, after which he would come back to marry Li Wei. In a traffic accident, Tao Guoquan saved Li Jin's sister, Li Fang, which became a turning point in their relationship. At the same time, Li Wei found out she was pregnant with Feng Zhiwei's child. In order to preserve her sister's reputation, Li Fang pretended to be her sister, falsely claiming that she was pregnant, and that the child was Tao Guoquan's. (Source: Douban) Edit Translation
