Sing in Love (2022)

Both movies are japanese BL movies where the characters are struggling with trusting each other because of their past experiences, but are still attracted to each other, and is not easily for them to forget each other.

Takara Shun, a high school student who belongs to a popular group in the class, and Taichi Amagi, a pure boy who is not a conspicuous type but is liked by people, realize their love for each other. Even though they start dating in secret, it is difficult to be honest.

For Mamoru Nekoyashiki, a doujinshi artist, the only thing that satisfies his need for approval is to sell his original BL manga at the popular Kabesa section (a section for popular doujinshi circles on the wall side of the venue) and be recognized by readers at the event. But then one day, something happens to him!

He meets Kazama Issei, a childhood friend he once had a crush on who is now a popular up-and-coming idol. Their lives in distant worlds should never have crossed paths, but you can't take your eyes off this story of two young men growing up in each other's presence!

Kai reminds me a lot of one of the main characters here. These movies have similar themes/pyschological aspects and they're both very good

When Kosuke was 14 years old, his mother died. As a young gay person, he spent his adolescence in a rural village and suppressed his feelings. Now, Kosuke is all grown up and he works as a fashion magazine editor in Tokyo. He meets Ryuta, who works as a personal trainer. Ryuta's mother raised him alone and he is close to his mother. Kosuke and Ryuta become attracted to each other and they sometimes spend time with Ryuta's mother. Kosuke is happy to share time with Ryuta and his mother, which makes him remember his late mother. Kosuke and Ryuta make an appointment to go for a drive together, but, on that day, Ryuta does not show up.

Both movies are japanese BL movies that has more dark and psychological stories which includes rape and sexual assault. In Sing in love, one character is sexually assaulted and while the context is a bIt different from Dangerous Drugs of Sex, both are psychological and healing movies.

Both movies are japanese BLs which has psychological and really realistic stories with characters that are messed up psychologically, who become better persons by meeting each other and influencing each other to overcome their insecurities.

Both movies are japanese BL movies that has more realistic stories than other japanese BLs i watched, and the characters in both movies has their own issues to overcome and are really vulnerable emotionally.
