Nothing happened

Honestly I wish I could have given this a bigger score. I really do. But nothing happened.

I originally watched this hoping for something to happen with Leon and Pob -- it was their relationship that was left unresolved, and it was this that I had the most hopes for (big mistake). We got maybe 5 minutes of screentime total for these two (we got to see more of Leon than Pob, but in regards to them talking/thinking about their relationship, it was like 5 minutes), and they never interacted with each other. Pob finally comes back to Thailand (on the same plane as Leo and Fiat, no less, but none of them ever find that out) and he and Leon get so many of those coincidental almost-see-each-other-but-don't moments. At the end, they decide to leave it up to fate if they're ever going to see each other again. (Which is so ridiculous in my opinion. You gotta put effort into a relationship if you want it to work, guys. Come on.)

As for Leo and Fiat, we got the most screentime from them (of course), but apart from fluff and some sexy moments, nothing happened plot-wise. They came back from London and hung out with their friends. That's kinda it. Cute, but not much else.

And while the video itself is an hour and a half, the last 20-ish minutes are just BTS pictures and videos. Just a warning, because I kept thinking we'd get more resolution and then we didn't.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in the lack of conclusion to Leon/Pob. Can't believe I was rooked into paying $9 to watch this and it was a waste. The Leo/Fiat story was great, as always but the last 20 mins of credits, photos and behind the scenes, not worth it. I was really hoping that Leon and Pob would see each other and have a happy ending. So sad about this. Don't waste your money people. There is a pretty steamy love scene with Leo and Fiat but that is about all, certainly not paying to see, however. Don't waste your time or money people.

Should Have Said No

Having finished the complete Don’t Say No Series the trailer for the special episode looked good but over-promised and under-delivered. Here is the good, the bad and the ugly. The good. Lots of Leo and Fiat in love who are beautiful to look at. The trailer promised lots of steamy scenes and there was only one and it was undermined when there was no real story (or climax) to speak of. Both Ja (Leo) and First (Fiat) gave it their all acting-wise but there was not much to be done with such weak material. The bad: there is no story to speak of. Leo and Fiat return home after three years in England. They have a glamping trip with friends and that’s it. At one point their friends try to listen in on Leo/Fiat having sex (same scene occurred with Korn&Knock in Together with Me) and nothing else to speak of. Now the ugly. If you love the characters of Leon and Pobphan you will be screaming at your screen. We were cheated of a reunion. A travesty of epic proportions which made me nearly want to burn my laptop. How dare they promise a reunion of these two sweet, lovable characters and have them near-miss each other time after time. Then feed us some bullshit “things will work out if they are meant to” line. It left me with such a bitter feeling even the hot image of Leo rolling on top of Fiat couldn’t make me feel better. Damn you LINE and MeMind.

What Even Was This?

So let's just all agree paying for this was asinine. Cool? Cool. This special episode was completely pointless except for seeing more of Fiat & Leo. Which those were even just okay, though spicier which is appreciated I guess lol. Were set 3 years into the future which is really stupid. Like why did we have to jump that far into the future?! Leon & Pob are still broken up and the entire episode is just of them almost crossing paths but always missing each other in the dumbest ways. What a tease and not in a good way! This should've just been them reconnecting, but no. I'm guessing there will be a second season for them? Not sure, but don't buy this it's seriously not worth it. No progression of the plot to be seen.

What a ripoff!

What a lazy job it was from the writers! We are going to be thousands of fanatic people to pay $9 on Vimeo to watch ... absolutely nothing. It's a sort of glossy paper fashion magazine: images one after another. No story, no script. We learn they went to London to study. Leo will become an ambassador like daddy (I guess it was not very difficult to get the job ...). They come back to Thailand. They regroup with their long time close friends. They seem to be 12, so childish. They are super rich, spoiled. The display of their money is bordering on obscene: they change their clothes every two minutes. In what world do they live???
It was really disappointing and not at all considerate of us, the enamored followers.

Leon and Pob, why?

The synopsis says that this takes place 3 years after Leon and Pob parted ways, so I don’t think I am unreasonable to want more of them. They got very little screen time, and it was mostly them almost meeting each other, but not actually meeting. Which kind of sucks. I hope we do get to see their series soon.

Story wise, nothing much actually happened. We got some info on what everyone has been up to since we last saw them, but that was it. I was really bothered by the twins trying to kidnap the lovebirds to take them on a vacation. And why does Leo have a gun? That part made very little sense, but at least their stupidity was called out.

I did like the fluff we got. Leon and Fiat are still adorable together, and madly in love with each other. Their friends are still crazy. So, nothing changed.

I do want to know more about other characters as well. They all seemed very interesting, especially because the story is set in the same universe as Love in the Air. I would love to see more from the twins, no matter how crazy their ideas often seem to be.

Still leaft with Unanswered Questions ....

Well I must admist I did kind of expect alot of this special, but was left a bit disappointed.

Coming back after 3 years, I was expecting to see how they have developed and grown with each other, but sadly that was not the case. Leo and Fiat, got the most screentime from them (of course), but apart from fluff and some sexy moments, nothing happened plot-wise. They came back from London and hung out with their friends. That's kinda it. Cute, but not much else.

I was hoping to see more of Leaon/Pbob and see how they resolved the relaationship, but they hardly had any screen time at all which was kind of sad, (hopefully, they have own story coming up, instead of leaving us hanging?)

Leon/Pbob relationship that was left unresolved, and it was this that I had the most hopes for (big mistake). We got maybe 5 minutes of screentime total for these two (we got to see more of Leon than Pob, but in regards to them talking/thinking about their relationship, it was like 5 minutes), and they never interacted with each other, they were like passing in the winds, which was really annoying and frustating to say the least.

Overall, it was not a bad special, but they could have taken they time with it and give us a bit more in depth to both the characters and how they grow and develop and find one love again.

I know I did score higher than normal, maninly becuase I had just come off watching the actuall series, and was really hoping for from the special, If I had to give my honest score I would probably say maybe a 2.5.

Cute but Doesn't Add Much

Like others, coming into this I was hoping for a resolution to Leon and Pob's story. I really enjoyed watching their relationship develop in Don't Say No and was disappointed that they didn't end up together though I appreciated the reasoning of it and was glad it wasn't something stupid that separated them. However, I ended up disappointed in this aspect. Though they are both in the special, they don't interact with each other at all, just multiple instances of barely missing each other, and their screen time is very limited. Here the reasoning for their continued separation is more than a little pathetic. Pob emailed Leon multiple times over those three years but Leon never replied and then talks about having lost the password for the email account a year ago. It didn't make much sense especially when password recovery is far from rocket science. There's a part of me that's hoping there will be another series dedicated to their relationship and this was a bit of a teaser for that. I hate seeing their story left unfinished.
In regards to the plot, well, there really isn't one. Despite the three year jump, there's no story progression. Leo and Fiat return to Thailand after studying abroad and basically just spend time with their friends before Leo starts his new job. There are some very sweet moments as well as one rather smoldering scene, but again, not a whole lot happening. I did appreciate the subtle changes in their characters though. They're still the same people but there is a greater maturity to both of them, especially Fiat. Their open communication and the little things they say show that both they and their relationship have continued to develop in healthy ways. I've watched several dramas where couples talk about their need to communicate and make positive changes that never happen so actually seeing that change was very refreshing. Their friends, on the other hand, are pretty much hilariously unchanged.
In conclusion, I wouldn't call watching it a waste of time, its short and sweet, a lighthearted escape back into well-loved character's lives, but if you're looking for any major changes in those lives or a larger continuation of their story, I'm afraid you'll be disappointed.

My cheeks are still hurting from watching. this special episode. It is just too sweet that I couldn't keep myself from smiling throughout the entire episode. LeoFiat was too sweet for my single hearteu! The 'nsfw' scene was maigawd!

HOWEVER I was getting so annoyed for LeonPob did not have any closure whatsoever. They kept missing each other- that is when I got frustrated! I mean come one!!! Just when I thought they'd finally see each other~ Just say yes better air soon! I need closure!

One minute I'm feeling lovey dovey, moments later I felt annoyed. >.<"

LeoFiat The Series ♡

As far as i'm concerned, I loved it. Loved watching Leo and Fiat spend their time together before going off into the working world where they might not have enough time for eachother. Also loved the communicating that was going on regarding Fiat's boundaries and Leo's issues with feeling possesive. The intimate scene was nothing short of passionate and intense as per usual with them and I loved it. I'm gonna miss them so much. The friends had me dying of laughter especially Nam and Tho, they hold a special place in my heart too. Also Fiat and Leon's relationship was sweet and hilarious, gonna miss their bickering. Now for Leon and Pob the way things concluded, I feel maybe a spin off may be in the future, who knows but James and Smart were amazing with their roles and did their jobs well as the second couple in Leo and Fiat's story. Maybe Mame doesn't intend to do a spin off and that's just life, doesn't always go how you want. I gotta say though Leon really could've done alot more to keep the relationship together as he's the one that pursued Pob in the first place...like really couldn't remember the password? Request a new password? Or I don't know insist that he wouldn't resent Pob if he had gone with him? Idk, I'm used to not every couple getting their ending (*cough* SeoKlui*cough*) loved the Special either way and can't wait to see what everyone has to give in the future.

Not Much Happened

There are LeoFiat moments for sure. They are entering a new phase in their life where they would soon be working adults. But I am more interested in the other stories now.

More curious about LeonPob and what would their reunion be like. I would have been okay if there was even a cliffhanger where they met or their eyes connected or something but no such luck.

Definitely still interested in the backstory of the lesbian couple, the twins as well as Nam. Nam would be an interesting one. He is a supporting character which is why I am interested to know if a character like him would fall in love, how would that play out?

They are coming out with a new story that is going to be a continuation of the twins' characters from the series. I am manifesting that they add in Nam's character too.

all fluff

yeah, nothing really happened plot wise but i always feel like that's usually what happens in special episodes?

all of their friends' intensive interest in leofiat's sex lives still continues to be weird! but since do we really take anything seriously from the "good" characters in this show? this is still a mame series after all

i got annoyed with how leonpob's plotline ended in don't say no, but this felt even more stupid lmao. i really don't think their conflict can hold up an entire series by themselves without it getting tiring fast, but uh, sure we can continue getting out these spinoff shows i guess
