Short, fun, and simple plot (the stock investment-talks were not simple at all though. lol)

Just finished this series and wish it was longer so that we got to see the process of the characters' growth. But even within 12 episodes, I think all the characters had development of their own by the end and it was very fulfilling to watch. Since it's a short series, the final episode did feel a bit rushed, but it was expected and acceptable. It did not affect the series negatively.

The story wrapped up well, there weren't loose ends with major characters, and it was all very enjoyable from the first episode until the last. I like that the pace was fast too since we only had 12 episodes. The major characters were all very interesting too. Jung Moon Sung definitely stole the show quite often, but none of the other characters were overshadowed.

Though the stock investment parts were kinda confusing most of the time, it did not make the series less enjoyable. I tried understanding the whole stock market thing, but it was just too much for me to keep up, so I gave up halfway through. Hahahha. (Well, at least the numbers were easy to understand. Lol) Nonetheless, you could still learn a life lesson or two by watching even if you don't understand those investment-talk. As it also shows how it impacts a person's life, positively and negatively, and what is the right way to start investing.

Kudos to the writer as well. Loved the humor in the plot. It wasn't overdone, but just enough to lighten the mood. The characters also made the stock investment theme more fun and interesting, at the same time, stressing on the seriousness of it too.

Overall, I think it was definitely a fun watch and would recommend it to those who want to watch something fun and short.

This drama needs a chance

●FIRST IMPRESSION
Wow!!! This drama is superb, I got this accidentally and when I was in the first episode, I got hooked to it. This drama deserves a chance.

●PLOT VIEW
Stock market has always been called a gambling house where people only lose money, But this drama through its characters helps everyone to see the other side of the stock market system.
All the characters go through anxiety, stress, and emotional drowning losing their money in many different ways but they still keep their enthusiasm and learn the basics of stock buying and earning. In other words, to say that if you open a restaurant or business some days it has good sales, you earn profit and someday it rains so no sales and, you make no money. Sometimes business is in the wrong place so the business falls. While the characters come together they learn about each other's dreams and motivate them to pursue it without any judgment. In this journey, we could see their families stress too, and its not to be ignored, its good humor.

●CHARACTERIZATON
The FL, Han JiEun playing Yoo MiSeo is very passionate about stock buying and losing all her money she learns how stressful it is, but to gain her money back she meets the group study and meets a stock investment expert. Their romance blooms slowly as the ML is going through a depression phase due to stocks.
An old man and a Kid are paired together and bond when they visit a science center.
Similarly, a widow and a carefree homeless man bond when he starts working in her restaurant.

●KNOWLEDGE I GAINED
So with its various dimension of characters, it shows that anyone can invest in stocks without any age limit, they just need to have some correct knowledge. They can also have it as a job if they are experts. Its stock investment can also be done with low capital too.

●All six characters acted so well, and you cant feel depression seeing them in depression because its supposed to be a light humor drama. The romance between Yoo Mi Seo and Seo JungWoo gives so many good vibes. Also, the other two pairs have a good friendship which is nice to see.

●APPRECIATION
There is an epilogue at the end of each episode, like a Youtube video where an expert on stock buying is giving his valuable knowledge, If any1 wants they can skip it. But for me it was fun I learned something new.

●RECOMMENDATION
Watch this if you want something light and humorous.
Please give it a try
It is really good.

Educational cliche drama

Just like webdramas about almonds, this was a drama educating and encouraging ppl on stock investments. From a running man ep, it seems the new korean trend is investment so this was a cute and fun way to showcase what it feels like to invest. The losses, the addiction, and the benefits

Cliches are never dead so atleast it was done a bit differently, more comedic that it didn't take itself seriously and the ending was so fulfilling honestly it's like a breath of fresh air with 22's sad endings

The bonds were cute, han jieun was the highlight and the cherry that carried this show, the comedy fell a bit short but HJE kept it fresh
I like hong jong hyun and missed him in dramaland but his character did feel a bit bland, he was always too careful that he didn't feel that happy or in love. I did like his past pretrauma tho

12 Episodes Comedies = K-Drama's way to get abs from laughing so much

If you have watched K-dramas for a while, you probably know that 12-episode short comedies are hilarious.

Pegasus Market, Kkondae Intern, Gaus Electronics…. and now Stock Struck, which arguably had the best romantic story of these types of comedies.

The Great Gatsby, Aaron(Elon)Musk, Leggings, J-doramas - there is no stopping of hilarious parodies & references.

It also features a lot of veteran (comedy) actors that are in their element- very entertaining to watch. No Performance was out of place and I love the FL! This actress is very good at slapstick comedy and impersonation.

The "stock" part may be a bit confusing (especially the epilogue) but it’s always done in a comedic way, making it an easy watch.

First of all, the story of the series is very interesting

First of all, the story of the series is very interesting, especially if you are interested in stocks. Especially the sections that are given at the end of each section are very useful for you.
Secondly, I like the acting of the actors, especially the main role of Mrs. and Kang Sun.
Thirdly, the little romance that he has is also attractive.
Fourth, I am very happy that Song Kyu sang the OST for this series. It had been a long time since I listened to new music from him, and this OST made me feel better

Learning Basic Principle Of Stock

The story is about a small group of people who are interested in playing stock to improve their income. But all of them have different money management and psychology which make them are greedy when first time join in stock market. Later on, they found someone that has improved his portfolio to more than 100% which made them want to learn from him. In the middle of the journey, there are a lot of comedy scenes such as the downfall of the market that puts their portfolio in a capital loss position. Not only that, in every post episode they are giving a basic principle of how to play a stock.

STONKS!

This drama was a lot of fun. Right off the bat it had a gripping satirical portrayal of the cutthroat world of finance and investment. Despite some initial skepticism, the drama turned out to be a breath of fresh air compared to the usual supposed "comedy" dramas. Full of lively characters with unique characterization. This set of characters was a prime example to how a great dynamic should be. They bounced off each other seamlessly. The comedic scenarios were great and blended nicely with the overall finance theme. However, the romance side plot began to take over the drama in the later parts and it was a bit out of place. I wish they kept it to minimum so that we have more comedic scenarios.

Good Enough

Korean Drama " Stock Struck " is a business comedy with a romantic twist.

The drama has five interesting characters that are completely different from each other but come together for a common cause. Their interactions and the bonds that they formed together were what make this drama interesting and entertaining.

The ending of each episode with the tips and information about the stock market was a nice touch as well.

However, the main romance was predictable and cheesy. It also got a bit tiring to follow, especially since the female lead seemed to be unable to decide what she wanted to do.

Other than that, the drama is short and it has enjoyable performances.

So, overall, six out of ten.
