16-year-old Hazuki Mika from Sendai sees herself forced to abandon her career as a star ballerina after fatally injuring her Achilles heel during a performance. At the suggestion of her father's acquaintance, she ends up moving to Tokyo and joins a club for synchronized swimming. Once there, she has to deal with both aquaphobia and intense bullying.
